1261  Economy / Economics / Re: UAE is the biggest gold buyer of Russia during this war on: July 06, 2023, 03:35:23 PM
It seems like Big powers are not interested in resolving the Ukarine / Russia conflict as it's going on for over a year now. UN security Council must sit down and figure out some solution to this conflict. Already there is too much loss of human lives in this conflict.
India has decade old defense and business ties with Russia while Gulf countries are in western camp. So far usa is not sussssful in getting support of India nor Gulf countries which is a kind of Diplomatic win for Russia. The irony is that no side is giving up and is the reason conflict is getting prolonged.
Indeed, prolonged conflict between Russia and Ukraine is a matter of great concern for all of us, as it is directly or indirect affecting life of everybody worldwide, in the shape of loss of innocent lives of civilians, property damage and soaring inflation. As an advocate of peace , I strong urge everybody to raise their collective voice on all forums to compel major world powers to start negotiation to bring this conflict to an end. The continuation of this conflict can potentially involve neighboring countries and can result in catastrophic situation.

1262  Economy / Economics / Re: UAE is the biggest gold buyer of Russia during this war on: July 06, 2023, 11:33:20 AM
The geopolitical situation surrounding Ukraine war is very complex, making it challenging  for countries like India, UAE to align with a particular side. These nations have traditionally have been maintaining a principled policy of nonalignment, and it is in their national interest to maintain a neutral stance.

Moreover, buying of Gold during the times of  conflicts, is a common practice of countries  to diversify their national reserves to mitigate the potential impact of currency fluctuations.

1263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sold the altcoins and invested in Bitcoin" on: July 06, 2023, 02:46:47 AM
Now my question is, is it good for my future that I have sold my altcoins and invested in bitcoins?
The trust wallet I put my invested bitcoins in, is the trust wallet safe for my bitcoins?

I believe you have made a right decision to convert all your Alt coins into Bitcoin. Bitcoin is indeed considered is a pioneer, leading and most secure crypto currency for long term investment. It can also be used for trading purpose if you possess skills to analyze technical charts/trading patterns to make timely decision of entry and exit in the market. Moreover, good knowledge of utilizing risk/money management tools is equally important to mitigate losses in trading. In terms of soft wallets, Electrum is regarded as a relatively secure option.

1264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you, or would you ever use a Bitcoin ATM? on: July 05, 2023, 04:34:32 PM
I am pretty sure that most (if not all) of the BATMs that are buy only, they still are accepting cash.. that is their main value proposition.  If you are using credit/debit card to buy bitcoin, then you would not need cash for that, but surely those kinds of machines would seem to be way less useful.. and so why not just have an App for that?  In other words, the physical presence of a machine seems to be useful for dealing with cash whether they have both buying and selling of bitcoin or if they ONLY have buying.
Well, I am very sure that Bitcoin ATM users will avoid those Bitcoin ATMs that are configured for buy only because since those BATMs most time request for ID scam before if usage and transaction it then means that the Bitcoin ATMs for buy only are drawing us closer to centralization since that bitcoin bought through the buy only BATMs are traceable to individuals since there is a submission of IDs.

But I can still use Bitcoin ATMs to either withdraw Bitcoin to cash or better still use Bitcoin ATMs to pay for merchants or at POS for retail shopping.

I doubt that it is safe to assume that if a Bitcoin ATM only offers buying BTC, and does not offer both buying and selling, then there is some kind of a malicious plot - because there could be a variety of reasons that a machine might ONLY offer buying BTC that might include regulations or it might include logistics.

Sure, it would be better for society overall if all Bitcoin ATMs were to offer both buying and selling - but we do not live in an ideal world, and sometimes things happen for a variety of reasons that don't always make sense on the surface.

I think there are Bitcoin ATMs available in many countries where you can buy and sell Bitcoin. In fact, many Bitcoin ATMs sre designed to offer both functionalities, allowing users to buy or sell Bitcoin by using cash or other payment methods. The availability of both options may depend on its operator or local regulatory requirements. The introduction and increasing prevalence of ATMs  is a positive development towards adoption and promotion of Bitcoin as digital currency.

1265  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia and others, move to use Yuan instead of dollar. on: July 05, 2023, 10:02:37 AM
When a country is embargoed, it suffers economically. Since Russia is at war and embargoed, it has to protect its economy. There are various ways to do this. It is trying to take certain steps to reduce the influence of the dollar. Russia is trying to get closer to China to disable the US financial system. It's a logical move for Russia. At the same time, it is necessary to prevent the negative effects of dollar fluctuations in many countries. Wars are now fought over the economy.

The sanctions and embargoes can yield targeted outcomes in the short term, however their extensive use compels the affected entities to find alternatives and become more reliant on their local resources.
It is also important to note that characterizing wars as conflicts fought over economy is over simplification. While economic factors can play significant role in geopolitical conflicts, wars often involve complex dynamics, that includes political, ideological, territorial and historical factors. Economic factors alone don't fully capture the complexities of wars.
1266  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia and others, move to use Yuan instead of dollar. on: July 05, 2023, 02:56:26 AM
What does this new development make for the US economy and the US dollar in the coming days and years to come.[/b]
Give your personal opinion on this development!

I think the primary reason for Russia to consider accepting Chinese currency Yuan for international transactions of its oil sales, is to bypass US financial system and reduce its vulnerability to Economic sanction imposed following the Ukraine war. It can provide an alternative avenue for conducting business and lessen the impact of sanctions. Secondly, it can help Russia to diversify its foreign exchange reserves which are currently heavily weighted towards US dollar and Euro. By doing so Russia can mitigate the impact of fluctuations of these currencies on its economy.
1267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing doesn't guarantee you to be rich on: July 04, 2023, 03:50:18 PM

They have to be woken and enlightened that they will lose money very easy if they are greedy with Altcoins. Those articles have different numbers of failed projects by different methodologies but their numbers are all big. Actual number of failed altcoin projects can not be known because many 'projects' are created and died within minutes when they failed to pump and dump their scam, fraudulent games.

You have brought attention to a crucial matter within the crypto currencies space, existence of numerous scam coins those hold no value These projects were created with the aim to deceive newcomers in crypto space and unlawfully take their funds. It is essential for us to take responsibility and raise awareness among our family, friends and broader social media community. While my first preference is always Bitcoin, however, top 20 coins listed on coinmarketcap  can be considered for investment purpose, as they have some use case.

In summary investing in these high risk coins has very little chance of making you wealthy, while the probability of incurring significant losses is much higher.

You misquoted that post Sayeds56...  I did not say that... it was karabiber.. so I fixed it in this post..

Thank Sir, for correction. I regularly read your posts very carefully because of your extensive knowledge about Bitcoin, awareness of Investment strategies and above all your belief in its growth potential, which is highly remarkable and source of learning for all of us. I always follow your advice to enhance my understanding of Bitcoin technology and market dynamics, and encourage everybody to do so, to be able to take a well-informed decision.
1269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing doesn't guarantee you to be rich on: July 04, 2023, 03:05:51 AM
You will not become rich by investing but you will not reduce your capital but it should not be forgotten that making a good investment causes your ambition to increase. When you become ambitious, you decide to invest more. But this is not correct behavior. You should stand by and proceed with Hodl in such a case. You should also be prepared for market fluctuations. Avoid investing if you have a weak hand. When investing, you should always be open to change and investment strategies from 15 years ago will not work.

Indeed, it is fascinating to consider that Bitcoin may not make you wealthy in a short period, it also doesn't necessarily decrease the value of your capital. This also implies the importance of making well informed decisions and avoid reckless speculation. It is quite natural to become ambitious when you start achieving success, but it is crucial to control it by understanding the viable investment strategies, such as DCA (Dollar cost averaging). Making impulsive decision without considering risk tolerance level can be detrimental.

Investment in Bitcoin is a relatively wise decision in the context of its ability to hedge against inflation and its outstanding performance during the past 15 years.
1270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing doesn't guarantee you to be rich on: July 03, 2023, 04:22:00 PM
But to say the truth Bitcoin in particular has helped many out from the poverty zone to middle-class citizens in their various countries. Investing in Bitcoin and through the investment the person get rich, it was also part of his or her plan of investing. Like if someone purchased Bitcoin in 2022 when Bitcoin was 15k$ and 16k$  with the sum of 3k$ and the person hodl it for a very long period, as JayJuanGee said, that person will become a rich man in his area. Though there is risk but if the person can manage the risk and succeed in the investment. Men!!! The nigga/dude will make it in life.

You have raised a valid point regarding Bitcoin influence on socioeconomic status of individual's life, resulting in numerous individuals to move from poverty to middle class. I have personnely observed within my friends and family circle who timely recognized potential of Bitcoin and engaged  in various endeavors of orypto space, such as investing and trading in Bitcoin, joining bounties and airdrops campaigns. Their impressive earnings through these endeavors is a testament to the empowering opportunities that crypto space provides for those who seize them.
1271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: U.k Approves Cryptocurrency As A Regulated financial Activity. on: July 03, 2023, 10:49:44 AM
What the UK has done now is what the US should be doing, not the other way round.
It's because government wants to have control over it and since they can control Bitcoin, that's why they are doing that. Well, they will surely find another way to take control if not fully control then having a platform that they regulated would still bring them profits just like what the government did where they have regulated the app I am using to buy and sell crypto.

The recent decision of United Kingdom to embrace crypto currency industry is undoubtedly a positive development. As UK is an influential country of European  continent with strong economy, this decision of UK will certainly escalate growth and adoption of this emerging industry, build confidence of institutions to make substantial investment and encourage other countries to follow this example. Another encouraging development is the news of Korean parliament is set to pass legislation regarding crypto regulation soon. This another step towards establishing clear framework for crypto currencies.

So I think that part of my point is that there is both planning and action that results in ongoing learning so that there is ongoing tweaking of plans based on learnings, and the tweaking of plans does not even necessarily mean that the overall course of action is changed. but just that some strategies might be tweaked from time to time that might involve cash management or how to buy BTC with DCA, buying on dips and lump sum investing when we know that it is nearly inevitable that bitcoin's price will continuously and ongoingly change on a regular basis.

Indeed. effective planning and taking appropriate are crucial elements in achieving achieve success, and ongoing learning plays a vital role in adapting and refining strategies overtime. When it comes to investing in volatile assets like Bitcoin it is important to understand that markets are always dynamic and often they make unpredicted moves, therefore managing cash to capitalize on every significant dip becomes very important. Moreover, making a single significant investment in assets like Bitcoin is suitable for those who have strong conviction in Bitcoin's future prospects.

In summary, there is no guarantee that investment in any asset class can make you rich, considering Bitcoin in the context of its historical track record, suggest bright prospects of substantial returns in the long term.
1273  Economy / Economics / Re: Am I a bad person if I manage to avoid taxes? (Hypothetical question) on: July 02, 2023, 11:44:57 AM
So, my legitimate question is, after all the robbery, a person, who doesn't pay taxes, is a bad person for the society or not? More likely I want to get answer from those whose countries have a model similar of European healthcare and employment insurance.

I believe paying taxes is our fundamental civic duty. Taxes are indispensable for maintaining and enhancing infrastructure and various public services including security, health care and many mores. They play a crucial role to finance all these services for overall benefit of the society. However, it is the responsibility of the government to ensure a fair tax system for all segments of the society. Moreover, it is vital to utilize tax revenue in a way that every penny is spent wisely and efficiently.
1274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing doesn't guarantee you to be rich on: July 02, 2023, 03:01:06 AM

Successful people always take risks in their investments, for example how to invest in bitcoin, of course the risk is still quite large, but because our belief in bitcoin investment is strong and bitcoin always has a good history of increasing, that's what I do.

I completely agree with your opinion that successful people always take risk to achieve their goals, but it is important to understand the complexity of relationship between risk and success. Risk can act as a double-edged sword, capable to leading to success if used wisely, on the other hand taking risk without using adequate risk management strategies, can also result in disaster. There is no doubt that Bitcoin has created many millionaires who took calculated risk and made timely investment decision to buy, hold and sell it at the right time. However, making decision to invest in any asset including Bitcoin should be done after due diligence, keeping in view individual's financial situation and risk tolerance level.

Investing doesn't guarantee you to be rich

Investing is a way to potentially grow your wealth overtime, but it is not a guaranteed formula to get rich in short or long term. There are numerous examples, such ENRON, FTX and LUNA, serves as reminder that investing is always associated with risk, and companies can face financial distress, and even can go bankrupt, resulting in investors losing their hard earned money. There are several factors those can influence the outcome of investment decision, such as timing of investment, individual's expertise level, market conditions, overall state of the economy and natural disasters. In order to achieve your financial goals, it is important to carefully establish your strategy in consultation with financial advisors, and evaluate your risk tolerance level before making any investment decision.

1276  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do when you have Financial Freedom? on: July 01, 2023, 02:22:06 AM
What will you do when you have Financial Freedom?

When I achieve financial freedom, I will continue investing in Bitcoin, as I consider it the best asset for investment that can potentially reward its investors with substantial profit. I believe by investing in Bitcoin I can secure my financial stability and live a comfortable life without constant need to search for employment for regular income. In my view financial freedom goes beyond personnel gains, it provides an opportunity to make contribution for social works and support those in genuine need. Therefore, I would allocate a major portion of my resources for social initiatives. This endeavor serves as my innate desire of fulfillment of purpose of life, and internal happiness.
1277  Economy / Economics / Re: Rent or buy real estate - let's have a debate on: June 30, 2023, 03:47:06 PM
What's the better option for you and why?
The decision between renting and buying completely depends on your intention to make it a source of passive income, or your goal is to make significant profit through capital appreciation in the long term. However, considering the increasing interests rates trend world wide, the property market is not performing well, Therefore, It is advisable to carefully evaluate your financial situation and conditions of the local real estate market before making any decision.

1278  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: June 30, 2023, 10:54:20 AM
When you're short on cash, it can be difficult to quit borrowing money.

Everyone has been there. We're short on cash and in a lot of debt, but a cover loan to get out of the red and even improve our readiness is the light at the end of the tunnel.

Blissful days? Sadly, no. It all comes down to the straightforward, yet frequently misunderstood, formula that says borrowing more money equals more debt. It is more difficult to return to black the more debt you accumulate.

The majority of us live beyond our means, which is one of the primary causes of our ever-increasing habit of borrowing money. Simply put, incomings are outpacing outgoings. It's also getting worse.

More than at any time in the past two decades, millions of Americans are spending more than they earn. Spending on credit cards, the most common type of personal debt, is estimated to be rising at a rate faster than at any other time in American history.

Lending and borrowing have been inherent aspect of human civilization since its inception. However, living beyond means and rely on borrowed funds to sustain your budget can lead to serious financial troubles in the long term. On the other hand, If you borrow funds from bank to expand your business, and your earnings are enough to cover monthly installments. Such kind of responsible borrowings is beneficial for business growth and leads to wealth creation in the long term.

1280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the best career for women on: June 30, 2023, 01:41:50 AM
Bitcoin's popularity is increasing day by day. Now in today's society both men and women are working shoulder to shoulder together in the office. No exception to this, women are also very interested in Bitcoin and current Bitcoin. The reason for interest is that when a woman works in an office, it becomes a bit difficult for her to juggle family and children. In today's society we see many working women leave their children with the workers and go to office, those children are abused by the workers. I think all the sisters who have chosen this bitcoin as their profession should not face such problems. Because after all the children's work and household chores, there will be enough time to devote to bitcoins. So choosing Bitcoin as a career can be a good decision for girls.

The fact is that bitcoin is not a career because it is a career. This is not a full-time job in an office where you get an absolutely stable salary and are always confident in the future. In cryptocurrencies, you never know what to expect tomorrow and how much you will earn - you can lose everything with an unsuccessful investment, for example, by investing in alternative cryptocurrencies, which will then turn out to be a scam.

A woman who is especially responsible for children should not risk money. Only stability! It's us men who can risk extra money, but a married woman - in no case.

Therefore, I believe that investing is prohibited for them.

I strongly believe that women posses equal capabilities to make well informed investment decisions in various assets including Bitcoin provided they fully understand the dynamics of this highly volatile asset class. Volatility is often considered a drawback, but it can be a gift if managed skillfully with risk management strategies. Therefore, I would suggest women to learn this important technology and leverage the advantages it offers to those who believe in its potential to make positive impact on their financial future.
