1261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 30, 2022, 02:28:38 PM
Mvp is crazy talk for Westbrook, with Luka, giannis, taytum, ja, jokic, etc etc but I do think he will have a bounce back year.  He is crafty he will figure it out.  Last year was pretty much the worst of it.  He is ultra competitive let's see what kind of summer he had training.  I'd like to see him bounce back.  NBA is always better when teams like the Lakers are competitive.

Not just with his competitors in the league but on the team itself, there are a lot of main gunners there that he might even become a competitor on the award. And to become an MVP, he should be the main guy on the team doing plays and whatever.

Aside from that and the most important thing to become an MVP frontrunner of the season, "consistency" in every game on which Russ is having a hard time last season. Once you fell short on stats in just one game, that can bring down the average already as every game stats counts.

But in fairness, I like him being that optimistic after that failed run last season. I hope his plan of targeting the MVP next season will bring a boost to the Lakers.
1262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 30, 2022, 02:22:29 PM
I would not risk at that kind of odds, I'd rather look for an odds of 1.50 over 1.03 even if there's a huge chance it will win, one of the reasons is that upsets do happen in any sports, especially in boxing. Well, just let us know the odds for Inoue winning by KO in less than 6 rounds, I think that would be more interesting.

Yes, we should wait for more betting options while the fight is approaching. For now, we only have limited options. I'm expecting the odds for Naoya Inoue winning by Knockout in less than 6 rounds is still low knowing Inoue is really good at that and has a good Knockout rate in early rounds.

High odds will be expected at Inoue winning by Decision or KO at late rounds which in reality, it's hard to bet on that options.

However, that's the challenge in betting. No way bookies will give an easy pick with a high odds in the first place.
1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling, tourism and legal gambling age for gamblers around the world. on: September 30, 2022, 02:19:49 PM
I wonder if there are any South Koreans here? Really, can they keep to the rule of gambling to only some specific games even when they are abroad?

Good question. I think yes, they will still comply with that local rule because they will be worried that other people might see them not complying with the law when they are outside of the country. That might result in a much more serious issue if they will not follow their local rule outside the country.

But of course, surely not 100% of Koreans are following that but I will say most do follow. They are disciplined people after all.
1264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 30, 2022, 02:16:06 PM
I think Meralco's import is unreliable. In OT, when the import of Northport is out because of cramps, he did not take advantage of his height inside the paint. No one should be able to stop him there, but he keeps on missing his shots and not even getting the rebound.

Not just the import but I have noticed that Meralco's overall performance during the second half is not that good. After they limit NorthPort's offense in the 2nd quarter by only 9 points, they didn't able to repeat that in the second half and NP takes advantage of it. Crucial game, looks like Meralco is more pressured.

And in overtime, Meralco seems not aggressive at every play, unlike NP where we can see that their energy is still on the highest level after the end of the regulations. Robert Bolick is really hot even others say that he is ball hogging. A win is a win though. Smiley
1265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: September 29, 2022, 11:59:05 PM
Something that Canelo didn't expect when they met inside the ring, simple jabs then  protect his face and body, not allowing Canelo to break his defense.

Canelo is too confident that he thinks he can outclass Bivol in their match. Since he is an undisputed champion, he is confident that he can easily defeat Bivol in their match. Bivol is also a heavy underdog and their odds are really a gap.

But Bivol just does his usual boxing style. He didn't even use special techniques or what.

Here in this fight against Ramirez, I don't think Bivol will use a special technique. He will just do his usual.
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 29, 2022, 11:58:57 PM
I still didn't get why the fight is still not established yet because they already announced that they already had a verbal agreement but it's been a week already since that information surfaced. Why is it taking so long to get that final announcement in this undisputed fight? Although I believe they are already past the point where they are still argue about the purse split.

It's ok mate. It's good that both parties are now verbally agreed to compare to before we don't see any words from both camps and we are clueless about any progress. As long as no news about what would be the other big problems why this fight is still not having an official announcement, it's all good.

Maybe next month, October, we can now hear the updated progress of this fight.

If the fight will take place in November, there should be an announcement next month.
1267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing and the casino business. on: September 29, 2022, 11:58:47 PM
It can be a small minded thing to think that the only way to benefit from casinos and sports betting places is to gamble there. Investing in casinos and sports betting can be a profitable deal for you if you invest and buy good stock from worthy casinos.

The way you construct your statement, do you really think investing in those are simple as buying candy?

Why not give your own long opinion about that and not just to say invest on those.

What are your pointers? What is your advice? How are the steps? I will wait for your response and let's start a discussion.
1268  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use crypto trading robots? on: September 29, 2022, 11:57:55 PM
I would love to have your opinion on this thank you! And if you have any crypto trading bot platforms to suggest don't hesitate!

Bots are effective to others since that's what bots are supposed to do.

Just for clarification, bots are meant to work for you based on the algorithms you will set.

It is not meant to give you profits where all you need to do is to wait for the bot's actions.
1269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin island in the Philippines? on: September 29, 2022, 11:56:01 PM
What are your thoughts about this one guys especially Filipinos here on this forum? Would love to hearing some feedback, reactions or opinion from you all here.

Just hype. It's not possible. Been in Boracay last summer and all I can say is, everything is now digital there. That's the wonderful development there where everything is now cashless and almost all establishments are accepting cashless payment.

Gcash is the popular payment method there and credit cards are as well. Adding crypto-payment is good though and I'm looking forward to that.
1270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 26, 2022, 11:59:30 PM
Let's say if Boxer A dominated the whole fight and knocked out Boxer B, will the camp and promoter of Boxer B activate a rematch even if they know that there chances is already small?

In that particular situation, I think Boxer B will still activate the rematch clause even if they know the chances are small. There's a preparation for that in the first place. Aside from that, Boxer B and his camp will never ever think that their winning chance is small.

Almost every loser wants a rematch as they want to get their revenge. Even Boxer B will have a small share of the purse split, as stated on the rematch clause, that's still a good contract to consider. And if they won, a big recognition and will open for another good contract in a possible trilogy.
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: September 26, 2022, 11:59:18 PM
After all those worst days in gambling, I hope you guys are now learning.

But honestly, even professionals still messing up these days because they are always opened to testing new risks after risks after risks and so on.

In gambling, there are really lots of such stories but as long as we learned from every mistake that leads to one of our worst experiences, we should all be good.
1272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Online casino/gambling projects on: September 26, 2022, 11:58:41 PM
Also what are the things that kills such project because even one or two survived for long I don't see many alive till now, they fail easily or turn scam later.

Some legit gambling sites here before are making their announcement that they will now close. In their farewell statement, they are including some of the possible reasons although we don't know if that's true.

However, it's a good characteristic that they are doing a good farewell statement instead of doing an exit surprise scam.

If I have time I can search those threads for you.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: September 26, 2022, 11:56:02 PM
Martinez turned Ancajas into a punching bag during their 1st meeting.

That was a horrible experience title defense of Ancajas in the whole history of his boxing career. He managed to survive the fight and avoid being knockout.

Since Ancajas knows the problem, they immediately work on it just a few days before this fight was announced officially. I hope their efforts will be paid off.
1274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Reputation on: September 26, 2022, 11:54:18 PM
You're a professional like a lawyer or a teacher in a respected university, will it harm your reputation if people around you or your students discover that you are into gambling, you're not really a compulsive gambler but gamble for entertainment, how will you explain this to people around you or will you explain to protect your reputation or just ignore them.

I don't really care for what other people will say. I will just continue my own interest and will disregard what they say.

But sometimes, there are professions that really prohibit gambling, and no choice but to comply there.

I don't know in other countries but here in our country, policemen for example are not allowed to do gambling. They will be kicked out of the service if these policemen caught doing gambling even in off-duty or not in uniform.
1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: September 25, 2022, 11:44:32 PM
Well, it's not new anymore that people wanted some spices before the actual fight to somehow make the fight more interesting. I know Zurdo is one of a kind but he needs to prove himself first against Bivol before starts boasting and saying lines like that.

If that is what he believes, then we just have to let it that way. Zurdo might be boasting but actually, he won't have the guts to say things like that if he's not sure about it. Might be because of his perfect record, he thinks achieving it is really difficult although he's correct on that regardless of the level of popularity of those he fought before.

Against Bivol, this might be the biggest fight of his career that's why he is pumped up. Let's wait if his talks is not just about talk.
1276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 25, 2022, 11:41:14 PM
I also believe that Bud Crawford have the higher hand in this fight, the man is fearless and could break mountains if he has to. While Spence here is clearly trying to drag the schedule because he knows that Crawford won't be the same as time goes by.

I don't think Spence is avoiding Crawford to expect that the latter won't be the same as time goes by.

While Crawford is catching age, the same for Spence too. Bud is 34 years old while The Truth is 32 years old. I don't think there's a big difference in their strength or having a huge gap in their skills with that 2 years difference in their age.

While Bud is building a legacy, Spence is a businessman. He wants to make sure that he will get the most share of every fight. If he fight Crawford before, he might end up taking the small share of the purse split that's why he established his career first and build his reputation to become the PPV King.
1277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 25, 2022, 11:36:38 PM
Everyone is so excited about Simmons, Kyrie and KD.
Let's see how it will be this season for the Brooklyn Nets.  I hope they will be champions this year.

I'm not actually excited but of course, I want to see the chemistry of these 3.

We know these 3 got involved in a big drama before and I want to see how will they return the favor to the team that gambled signing them.

Talking about the possibility of them winning the championship in the upcoming season, I don't think they are close to achieving it but they are in my Top 5.
1278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: September 25, 2022, 11:31:28 PM
How about you do you had a worst day on gambling  that you will never forget ?Did it affect an aspect of your life and how ?

The worst day is part of the experience of being a gambler. That worst experience will be our foundation to become a good gambler in the future unless not learning the lesson from every worst experience. I can't remember my worst experience with gambling but that's not important to me.

What matters to me is to maintain my good experience as much as possible. That should be the goal every after a big loss.
1279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone interested in trading for Pi? on: September 25, 2022, 11:28:26 PM
I’ve got around 1600 pi and am looking to trade for Litecoin or other coins. If interested send me a PM

PI believers have a wonderful expectations about the future of this coin. So much promising that I can't even understand how it can possibly to happened. Without a real market price, I doubt someone will be interested in your offer.

I heard that there's an own marketplace designated for PI users. I'm not just sure if it's real. Why not look for it instead and do some transactions there? Although I'm very sure that almost everyone there wants to dispose of their PI.
1280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: September 24, 2022, 01:06:42 AM
Bivol didn't got his money until now? That's harsh! The government should stop interfering from the activities in the sports industry because the people are trying to make a living while putting their lives at stake, Bivol shouldn't be an exemption even if he's a Russian boxer.

As long as it will contribute to pressuring Russia, they will just do whatever it takes.

They should not really look into Bivol being a Russian or to any athletes but since the Russian President is just also doing what he wants whatever it takes, it affects their athletes. But I'm sure it's not that Bivol is really receiving bad treatment most of them. He will get what he deserves to get.

The world is not that harsh to Russian athletes.
