It happens with every wallet if fees aren't high enough. Transactions will drop out of mempool if the transaction is in it for a period of time waiting for confirmation. Provided that the client don't rebroadcast it, it will drop out of mempool. If client does rebroadcast it, it will confirm eventually. If you don't mind waiting for longer time and just want to have a free transaction, use a client that rebroadcast automatically or rebroadcast it yourself manually.
That is why I keep waiting for atleast one confirmation and then verify the payment I receive else it can just get cancelled. I wonder if only one confirmation is suffice or not.

I would have not invested in bitcoin only in the past ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) If it would make $1000 each, the price at that time would be worth more than now.

I guess it will last for more 4-5 years but I am not sure if it will have a bright future as of now. It has definitely gained more popularity over these years but it would be good if it can last for longer than 5 years ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Most sellers over here buy the gift cards with a stolen credit card and hence they are illegal cards which can lead to the closure of the buyer's account. The prices of theirs are low as well like most sell a $100 card for $25 or less but give guarantee of 5-10 days which obviously means that the cards are stolen.
yeah, and then end up having the buyer getting burned, but since its such a small amount people just overlook it. meanwhile theres like 10 more customers, which the seller comes up in the end lol. Yeah and some are successful in redeeming it before Starbucks realizes that the card is fraud but it does not work always. I feel Amazon is more careful than Starbucks in that matter.

Just like any business or shops accepting bitcoin, they would exchange it back immediately to fiat to avoid losses caused by exchange rate fluctuation. If these small establishment can do it that operates on a thin margin, then why not google? They should be able to manage it much better compared to the rest.
That would be a good deal for Google if they do that but it depends if they find it a good deal. As of now, it has its own wallet and so I don't see it coming in the near future.

You only got one $222 bitcoin for your house? Was it an expensive cardboard box?
Which house are you talking about ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) I am talking about exchanging my bitcoins for USD and I exchanged it at a lower rate. You have taken this to another level. LOL ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif)

LOL! This will never happen at least in my lifetime ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Dollars will exist for millions of years and they have been a dominating currency since ages so it coming to an end is almost impossible.

It is not going to happen soon as EUR has always been above USD while USD price is currently decreasing. GBP is stronger than both EUR and USD but one can never say as currency demand says it all.

It may be that bitcoins do not hold any value after 20 years ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Bitcoins are not a reliable currency currently and it has been here for very less time compared to other currencies but the future of bitcoin is not predictable. Soon it may be replaced by another currency.

I think it will be $260 or even more as the price is now $246 which is great. I sold my bitcoins just 2 days back for $222 ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) I wish I had waited for some time as now I would be getting more for the same amount ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif)

Blockchain often does the same with my transactions and it takes over an hour to confirm few while one transaction of mine did not get confirmed for 2 days and then the transaction was cancelled. ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif)

Google play would not integrate bitcoin as a payment for so many reasons one would be the price of it that keep on crushing, its too risky for them.
No risk they simply would use it as way for people to buy fiat into the Google pay system and also they can convert to USD rapidly. No risk to them, just potential revenue increases. Bitcoin prices have decreased a lot recently and for Google it will definitely be risky. It is just like buying and selling shares/trading in Forex so as of now Google may not find it a reliable payment method.

True. I agree. On a side note, I suppose OP should equate the internet to the ledger blockchain instead. Maybe we should think of the bitcoin as "the first webpage". Maybe, bitcoin is just the first step, the genesis of more to come. We still have time, let's just sit back and watch bitcoin and use it every now and then. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Agree as bitcoin is just the start and may be we will get to see more crypto currencies in future as bitcoins as of now are quite risky and similar to Forex or Stock markets where the price keep decreasing/increasing but is not stable.

Faucets are the easiest way to earn bitcoins and there are only few that are really good as you earn lot and they withdraw to your bitcoin account only after you earn the minimum else the fee charged is a lot. Few good ones are http://moonbit.co.in/, bitcoinaliens, freebitco.in

The price of bitcoin definitely matters as once it was around $300 for 1 BTC and now it has reached $220 and it is decreasing even further. Many people have lost a lot by using BTC while some have gained.

I don't think Google Play Store will integrate bitcoin as bitcoin is not a recognized currency as of now. BTC is getting popular these days and it will take time for other online stores start using BTC as a payment method.

They may just be sending out these phishing emails expecting at least one to reply to them and by mistake if anyone clicks on their link, they are just scammed. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

IT's not the right way to teach your child and the child may instead start hating the person for doing it. For me the answer would be an obvious no.
If you just take them to a different house or something, they might never know. Untill they are back They won't know but it is not the right thing to do. Kids are innocent and you tell them just anything, they will believe you but creating fear in them is wrong.
