1281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you raised money on ICO? on: August 28, 2018, 02:26:04 PM
Do you an experience of investing in ICO? Was it a good experience? Have you raised anything?

What is more, you can get tokens for testing a project's beta. For example, KickCity. You can get reward for testing this platform https://kickcity.io/event/5a9d11030cf2cac8e081f3e8

i dont have any experience for raising money in ICO, but i often participating in ICO.
I guess nowadays ICO is not to attractive for investors because many past ICO's has failed.
There are few of successful ICO though, if you participated in one of them, surely you will gain much profit.
1282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whale sends 18,000 BTC to Bitmex, what will happen? on: August 28, 2018, 02:11:35 PM
About 18,000 Bitcoins have recently been ported into a wallet supposedly affiliated with BitMEX, a major electronic money trading platform that allows margin trading. It is estimated to be over $ 114 million, according to data from CryptoCompare. What is going to happen? Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Can you post the link to your thread ? The link of btc transaction. For a new exchange, maybe it is just a wallet of bitmex itself ?
If a whales send a massive amount of bitcoin, lets hope they don't dump it on the market with a cheap price.
1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much you can profit from altcoins on: August 27, 2018, 05:04:30 AM
I want to find out why everybody wants to invest in altcoins, what I want to ask is, how much money did you get from altcoins so far?

It will depends on the altcoin you invest. If a good project, i think there are already some peoples gained above 10x from their investment.
I remember some altcoin like TRON, already gone to high price. Peoples who invested on it surely have gained many profit.
So when you want to invest, always choosing the best coin to buy.
1284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest problem of altcoins on: August 27, 2018, 04:52:20 AM
....is their complete dependancy of Bitcoin. It really takes all the fun out of crypto trading.

No matter what kind of awesome progress some altcoins make....it doesn't change the trend upwards if Bitcoin doesn't allow it.

Pump and dump groups I also blame. Because of them I'm very positive that Bitcoin won't make it past 30 000 this year. 50 000 to 80 000 would be realistic without pump and dump groups dominating and controlling the prices.

Anyways, these things have to change somehow. The first altcoin developers who claim their absolute freedom from Bitcoin will be the real winners of this crypto game.

I think it is difficult for altcoin to not depend on bitcoin because there are many btc holders are holding the altcoin too.
The pump and dump groups are still existing even in the bearish market, but i don't think they will be able to controlling the market.
1285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most Crypto investors are Cowards on: August 26, 2018, 02:06:28 PM
The answer is just simple, we all are cowards  Smiley. Everyone will like to wake up one day and find out that Btc has reached 50,000. All these people are scared to invest hugely in bitcoin but want to become  Crypto millionaire and Billionaire. You ask them why they are scared and they are like crypto is volatile and so on. This is the time to set the record straight make people realize what they are into. If you are scared then there is no need for you to join this amazing fraternity Smiley.

This is not coward i think. The coward one is peoples who don't buy any coin or investing in this kind of market. The price of altcoin is low in the market, this could be the best time to buy. But in reality there are more sellers than the buyers, then no wonder the market is dropping.
1286  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why I don't Support KYC in cryptocurrency as it is on: August 25, 2018, 01:45:59 PM
I am going to be very honest here with you guys. I know some of you may antagonise or kick against my view. But I will still speak the truth as it is.

My major reason centered on the fact that there is no regulation for cryptocurrencies.
How can someone somewhere in the name of ICO project team, whom you don't even know, some without a verifiable office address, whose presence is just online and the internet, demand your sensitive information including your international passport, government issued ID, proof of your residential address, and other personal information or documents?
What if this person is just a scammer? What if this person works for maybe a terrorist organization who is just looking for real biodata or identities? What if this person is just a criminal looking for ways to fake his own identity and take upon yours or anyone else? What if your verified photograph (face) matching your identity is used in pornography or nudity? What if the data is accidentally leaked? My questions go on and on.

Remember, the cryptocurrency as it is currently has no regulation, as such there is no regulatory body or authority you can petition your grievances or seek redress should any of the aforementioned incidences happens to you as a result of the information you have forwarded. The ICO project team whom you sent your details can as well disappear without trace.

Therefore, as long as there is no Cryptocurrency Regulation, then there should be NO KYC.

I think same with you. Cryptocurrency should be anonymous because it is decentralized, no centralized system have the database of the holders.
But, because there are many hacking cases, for security reason it became required to submit KYC.
For me, it is no problem at all if using KYC, but cryptocurrency will become no different from fiat currency.
1287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key on: August 24, 2018, 09:31:13 AM
As a matter of fact, it is very few number of noobs in the cryptocurrency business that understand the level at which patience is required and valuable in the business. I do tell my friends around me that wish to come in to the business “it’s only patience ones that would feed from the milk of a lion” . I bought some coins few weeks ago, which I decided to hold while it was dipping but I keep holding with zero fear and absolute patience. Presently, i’m In over 47% profit in all. My advice to my colleagues is all you need is buy into coins with good potential and relax even while it’s at dip. Trust me, you won’t live to regret anything if only you would be able to hold with patience. Thanks

Indeed, without patience, you cannot gain your long term profit maximize. But some of us are not really able to do it.
So, a better knowing about cryptocurrency is required when you invest on crypto. Every investment must need time to return.
The most important thing is what coins you hold, it will decide how long you need to hold it.
1288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Should you invest in Neo ? on: August 24, 2018, 08:35:59 AM
Yes, NEO is a good project, you can get GAS by holding it. But for now, the NEO and GAS price is still low.
If you want to buy, now is the time to accumulate the coin. Just dont sell it yet if you already bought it.
1289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin go under regulation on: August 23, 2018, 03:46:40 AM
Many government are seeing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a threat to their financial system and they think it should be regulated to solve the problem. Do you think they can regulate Bitcoin ?

The government may regulate cryptocurrency to allowing their peoples using bitcoin legally. But they won't be able to fully regulate it.
And i think bitcoin is not a threat for their financial system. They actually can adopt cryptocurrency to their existing financial system.
1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Winner of this year, ETH or BTC? on: August 22, 2018, 02:59:46 PM
Hello everyone!

Recently, I was thinkig. Is there really any reason for the BTC to be the market leader? The only thing that is giving the value to BTC is pretty much the fact, that it was the first crypto currency. It is the grandfather of all cryptos. But we know it has its flaws... It was never designed for broad usage, it has scaling issues and so on.

On the other hand, we were given ETH. The Crypto Kitties or w/e the awesome internet meme ETH appliction is called showed us, that ETH network has issues with high amounts of usage. BUT, 90% of all altcoins are based on the ERC-20 standard, brought to us by ETH. The smart contracts using the Solidity are extremly good piece of technolgy.

So my question is. Do you think, that BTC will keep its leadership, or will ETH be the winner of this year and surpass its ancestor?

From what we see now, bitcoin value is still stable in the market while the ethereum value keep falling from past weeks and not going up back.
So, maybe this year's winner is bitcoin after all. There are still last quarter for this year, but i think bitcoin will keep dominating the entire crypto market.
if you see in coinmarketcap, the dominance of bitcoin is always above 50%.
1291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy more ETH? on: August 22, 2018, 02:41:55 PM
I want to buy some ETH more, but the market is too bleak. What should I do?

I suggest you to wait more because ETH value seems stuck in the market, not going up.
Once the ETH price going up significantly, that is your time to buy it fast. Maybe the correction after this red market will come at that time.
But you may careful about bull trap done by some whales in the market. They just want you to buy with a high price.
1292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I do not know which ICO is good to follow ? on: August 21, 2018, 04:50:29 AM
This market is new. Is there a way to identify a potential ICO for me to invest in it? Many times I see ICO scam I only smile at the time wasted without profit. It's hard

I suggest you to learn more about how to researching ICO. You won't got scammed if you do your due diligence with patience.
i already saw many ICOs that turned into a scam ICO after they raised enough money.
But there are still very good ICOs too, they successful and delivered the products resulting the rising of their token price.
1293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin price increase has three factors. on: August 20, 2018, 03:06:08 AM
No. 1 is the amount of transactions between buyers and different people. For example if you have 100 BTC you want for $ 1, but someone with 100 BTC want to sell for $ 2, the value it will increase so.
Secondly because of the rare bitcoin copper, and the need to use BTC for various purposes so many people need BTC that makes the BTC increase.
Third, by speculation, those who have money to inject money into the market and use FOMO tactics to entice more and more people into the market, the price will be pushed up.
There are many other factors, but only focus on the three main good.

Yes it is the matter of supply and demand i think. The more peoples seek bitcoin and want to buy it, the more expensive bitcoin price become.
And i think the government factors have a role in the market too. Just look at the ETF news. But the important is btc will need to be adopted and used by everyone so the price will stable and higher.
1294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO! Do Not Invest all you have on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies on: August 20, 2018, 02:46:32 AM
Yes of course no. Investing all you have in cryptocurrency is just like betting. Always invest from what you excess, not what you have.
If you have excess money from your incomes, you can invest on anything and not afraid to lose them because you can afford them to lose.
i wonder why there are still peoples can get poor because crypto, they should not spend on crypto more than they can accept to lose it.
1295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many ICO, why? on: August 19, 2018, 03:38:33 PM
I have seen so many signature in the forum and some of these signatures are good as i have been also visiting their website, btt forum and their telegram. The project they are also promoting are unique and most of it are promising project. However, this promising project will get compromise because the number of investors will compromised with the number of ICO being introduced. So the money of all the investors if it will be evenly distributed the ICO will not going to success because it could not raise more funds that is why i am raising this thread on why there are too many ICO? A great number of ICO's will increase the chance of the ICO's to fail.

Yes there were many ICOs because there are many companies want to start their business and gather the funds from investors.
But unfortunately many icos appear to be only a scam project created by bad peoples to gain fast money.
For now, many ICOS have failed to deliver the promises. Only few of them are success.
1296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is the next generation of BTC? on: August 19, 2018, 03:21:03 PM
Right now, price of ETH is low, is there again rise in the ETH ?  I can see eth going above bitcoin because of combination between drop in the price of bitcoin and increase in the price of eth.

I dont think so. The next generation of BTC is LTC. Litecoin is almost same as bitcoin. It has the same mining algorithm, but LTC is cheaper than BTC.
For ETH, i think it is a coin created for investing in startup companies by contributing in ICO.
ERC20 token in ethereum network is created to make the company token before it using the mainnet of the company.
1297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons behind Bitcoin/Cryptomarket fall??? on: August 18, 2018, 03:46:37 PM
Hi Friends,
What are the reason behind Bitcoin and whole crypto market fall.
Is this SCAMS or SPECULATIONS???

Few days back I read news about a big Bitcoin scam busted in Gujarat state of India. Its approximately $314B( INR 22000 Crore).
Also every day news came from different parts of world about same kind of scams. Are these scams also responsible for crypto market fall and halt growth of this new technology???

What do you mean scam ? Do you mean after several years of cryptocurrency, bitcoin was a scam after all ?
No, i think the answer is there are peoples who want to speculate with the price of crypto in the market.
There must be many speculators going after crypto because they know cryptocurrency has great potential.
1298  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mine Bitcoin with your TV! on: August 18, 2018, 03:37:43 PM

How you set your btc address for mining ? Maybe you can mining but not your btc address, so it is no profitable for you.
Anyway, if mining with tv is possible, there are many miners will be online and just making the difficult of bitcoin getting worse.
1299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: August 17, 2018, 03:24:31 PM
In the following year ETH will overwtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency. I would dump your bitcoin while despite everything you can.  Undecided

Why do you think ETH will overtake btc? For now, altcoins value seems falling greatly in the market. Only bitcoin value not drop too much.
You should tell your reason so we can think about it and buy ETH more to accumulate before it become no 1 and overtake bitcoin.
1300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we protect ourselves from scam? on: August 17, 2018, 03:03:18 PM
The crypto world is so vast and they are interest from all continents of the world. Some investors / projects came with good intentions to make the world a better place while some to defraud investors and projects founder. Can we have a better way correct scam and lapses?

There is no other way than educating ourself how to do some basic due diligence about the project when we want to invest on it.
Cryptocurrency is a good opportunity to investing our money, but some peoples misused this to scam and fraud others because they are greedy.
