the trolls from Q2C now is creating nonsense in USDE thread also. see  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=410254.msg5605247#msg5605247

they are so poor and idoids and don't know the power of a big community.

let  bitcointalk community should ban these guys .  report to the bitcointalk moderators.

I think, we should stop starting a coin war.
Do you even have a proof that the guy is somebody from Q2C? Why do you suggest something?!
I could also say that somebody from coin "XYZ" is doing all that shit and wants us to fight against each other.

Why do you talk about the Q2C COMMUNITY? Even if it's somebody from Q2C, it's just ONE person.
I DO NOT SUPPORT THAT IN SOME WAY. I even lost all my BTC donation because of this incident.

Seriously, don't you see the real problem? That the concept of the voting system is that bad that it could be exploited by just one person?
1282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 09, 2014, 04:01:28 PM
I can ensure you that if you want to start a war with other coins, you should have check their weapons first.

Please, just stop hating and get out of this thread.
Seriously, what's your problem? Why do you flame all the time against Q2C?

The Q2C community was scammed by a hater of this coin. We don't know who that was and why he did that.
And I don't even know who this vvillukee is.
I think we should concentrate on fixing the real issue: The voting system of MintPal.
1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 09, 2014, 03:30:38 PM
Quote

Navigate to console and type:
walletpassphrase <your passphrase> 100
dumprivkey
Copy a private key, remove all files in ./appdata/roaming/q2c, and run qt app. It creates a wallet.dat with new public/private keys.
Set tax per transaction to 0.001Q2C, then navigate to console and type:
importprivkey <your-private key>
It imports private key from old wallet and rescans all transactions.

OMG, it's even worse now!  Embarrassed
I lost many other blocks after entering these commands. Now i don't missing only 12 000 but 88 000 Q2C! Now there are no coins from 8th march and from few other days too.
Please, help me devs!

Do you have a backup of your old wallet (.dat file)? Maybe you should try restoring that wallet.
Check into your wallet whether all addresses are listed there. Do you miss some addresses?

Regarding your initial problem, you probably were out of sync or you mined some orphaned blocks.

I hope dev will talk with mint pal admin and resolve this. Since it is shit. And precendent for abusing whole vote system.

The problem is that krecu is away for over a week and nobody knows how he is doing.
The community needs to get active and fight back against that unfair treatment.

Everybody who also thinks that the deletion was unfair should write an e-mail or support ticket:
support@mintpal.com
or
https://support.mintpal.com/index.php?module=tickets&sec=submit.step2&department=1

who ever send btc for voting on mintpal should get refund, or if not we'l start talking shit about mintpal

Yeah, I sent BTC worth $40 to MintPal right before Q2C was removed  Angry.
Let's see what they are doing with that donation. I hope that it will at least count when Q2C is unbanned.
Anything else would extremely suck and be unfair.

This was the MintPal donation address for Q2C:
https://blockchain.info/address/1DxGAdbhDW1iJxPvHuAFcv7biLTLtCjVge

My donation (0.0649) was already transfered to another wallet.
Seems that their laughing their ass off for that free money.
FFS, I was scammed by MintPal  Angry

https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes/
guys just send a mail to cryptsy ask to add q2c on the vote list!!!!!!

Cryptsy sucks even more. They give a shit about the community.
We've already collected more than 360 votes vor Q2C in their feature requests (=> https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/72658) and they didn't even notice that the people want to have Q2C to be added. They were not even able to add Q2C to the voting system -.- Very disappointing.

The only thing that coungs for Cryptsy is money. Without massive donations you won't have a chance to be added there.
1287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 09, 2014, 02:17:05 PM
Because one person trying to cheat and destroy coin. 1500 people vote fair every hour and one person came and destroy everything.

FFS...

The problem are the voting rules of MintPal.
They engage people to spoil the system and let a bot run for coins they don't like.
I'm not even sure whether the person that botted on MintPal was somebody from Qubit or from another coin.

MintPal MUST change the voting system to not punish a coin just because of a misbehaviour of one person.
What about a captcha for voting?

It is really needed for MintPal to realize that the current rules has some issues and can easly be abused.

I think, we shall write a compliant mail to MintPal. This was not right and we should fight for justice and fairness!
=> support@mintpal.com

captcha wont change the chance that you could just use lots of people with a VPN network

For sure would a captcha solve the problem.
You won't just be able to make a script that changes IP every few seconds and autoclick on the voting button.
You could run such a script FOR FREE.

But engaging "lots of people" to change their IPs every time and solve captchas will cost much money.
In this case, you could just buy BTC with that money and donate that. That would even be cheaper than paying that many people.  Roll Eyes

I hope that the admin of MintPal reads this topic and understands the problem behind the voting rules.
Additionally I wrote a compliant to support@mintpal.com.

I'm also hoping that the voting system doesn't need to be spoiled into obscurity (e.g.: A bot is running 24/7 and votes every time for the coin on 1st place - they would all get banned) till there will be a several change with a protection against botter.

so lets say someone is trying to push coin at lower place to the firstone, how can he do that?

1. talking shit about using software for voting, talking that shit in thread of coin that he want to remove
2. use software for voting,
3. coin removed,
4. sucsess, he's coin is now one place up on voting list,
5. let's go to another

this

我的很多Q2C朋友.都在投票.就因为有人使用软件(可能是故意说用软件欺骗大家)而停止投票对我们很不公平
Translation: Many of my Q2C friends are voting. Just because someone is using the software (probably intentionally deceiving you say software) and stop voting for us is very unfair

They dont care about system voting.

They need donations, more bitcoins = more chances to coin hit exchange!

So Q2C was banned because of small donations!
Well then, if it is really like that, MintPal would be no better than Cryptsy. Sad.. really sad  Sad
1289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 09, 2014, 02:00:36 PM

There you go ! Try next time use the voteing rules at the moment your votes are at 0 again.

Thank your community for this as they were responsible what happened right now.

Are you the admin of Mintpal?
This really sucks that Q2C was removed from the voting section.
I just made a donation and that sum just disappeared?!? Kinda unfair!

Why does the WHOLE community has to suffer because of the fault of ONE person?
The penalty rules are unfair because one person can spoil a coin by just running a bot on it.

Now lets think about it: When I were a Q2C fanboy and I don't want to get some other coin get into MintPal.
What would I do? Right, I would let a bot run for other coins and hope that they will get punished.

Who says that Q2C was not sabotaged by somebody who doesn't like Q2C?!

Thank your community for this as they were responsible what happened right now.
No, the community can't be responsible for the action of only one person!
1291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 09, 2014, 10:45:30 AM
If we want to get on mintpal we need to gather about 20k votes before tomorrow, because then we will get directly on mintpal!!

I'm selling my Metiscoins, Riecoins (and probably Heavycoins) now to donate for Q2C.
It's not that much (0.1 BTC, equals 2k votes), but at least it's something.
Please also help us with your BTC donation ( 1DxGAdbhDW1iJxPvHuAFcv7biLTLtCjVge ) or some votes for Q2C on Mintpal!
1292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 09, 2014, 10:00:27 AM
Wow, difficulty is at minimum. I got almost 20k over night with single GPU.  Cheesy

Yeah, the reward dropped to 512 and some miner switched to hyped coins like MYR, RIE or HVC.
We really need to make the next steps (get on a bigger exchange site) or we will miss the train and can't catch up with the other altcoins anymore.

A very important step would be getting on Mintpal.
Come on guys, every other coin above us was sponsored with a >2 BTC donation. Only Q2C got nearly nothing.

Please donate for Q2C, even a small amount would help us very much!
BTC: 1DxGAdbhDW1iJxPvHuAFcv7biLTLtCjVge
Donate 0.05 - 0.1 BTC. It's not that much for you but a big step for this coin and the community!

I'll sell some other altcoins now and push Q2C on mintpal.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 09, 2014, 09:47:54 AM
Congratulations, we are on the 4th place!

Since the vote is likely to end in 2 days need to actively vote!
Register online (6 votes per hour). And as much as possible to make a donation!

Well done, community!  Grin
Who says that the voting ends in 2 days?
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 09, 2014, 08:22:50 AM
Wow, what happened? We got about 5000 votes for Q2C on Mintpal over night  Shocked
Keep voting, we could get No 1 even without that massive donations  Grin

kahir, coin123: Nice graphics, will send 1000 Q2C to each of you!  Cheesy
I just need your address, coin123!
1295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEW CPU【PopulaceCoin】 Just released the new currency on: March 08, 2014, 10:51:03 PM
470 643.41178 POC for sell!
Make me an offer, please.

What do you want for that?

1297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HVC] Heavycoin - CPU-only, Ultra-secure, Decentralized Voting on: March 08, 2014, 07:54:16 PM

Next:     742HVC  (averaged 292 votes)

Vote lower people...  and sit on your hands too...  SERIOUSLY!    Cool

Voting 1

A low vote means that the IPO investors will make more profit and the miner less.

No... Just no!
My vote is 1024.
1298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Q2C] QubitCoin new secure hashing (CPU/GPU) (NEW) Update 0.8.4.1 on: March 08, 2014, 07:49:31 PM
Vote for QubitCoin on https://www.mintpal.com/voting and price go up!!!
Please vote for your chosen coin below, unregistered users are allowed up to 3 votes per hour, whilst registered users are allowed 6 votes per hour.

I'm putting nearly every hour my 6 votes to Qubit :-)
I've looked at the coins above Qubit on the voting section of Mintpal and saw that all 5 coins were pushed with a donation > 2 BTC, what means about 40.000 votes!!!

The donation for Qubit was only 0.00385 BTC, but we are still competitive to the others - what means that we are a great community!

Keep voting and if you have some BTC left, donate them to the Mintpal voting system:
1DxGAdbhDW1iJxPvHuAFcv7biLTLtCjVge

I think, we've deserved to be listed on a better exchange site :-)

I was playing around a little bit with photoshop and I started a first draft for a heavycoin logo. It's not a final version but... what do you think?

good but it is not sinking deep enough!

Huh  Grin Grin Grin

ROFL

Reminds me in some way of a sinking Nazi sign...  Undecided
