1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo - September 30th in Las Vegas on: July 05, 2023, 06:05:51 PM
Canelo vs. Charlo is similar to an altcoin ICO. Hype it then take the money. Fans go home shaking their heads after watching an ordinary fight hehe.

Hahaha, very true. We have seen how Canelo performed against Ryder which many thought that he would demolish the latter as a bounce-back performance after that loss to Bivol but that doesn't happen and we didn't see that extraordinary effort on Canelo's side so this time around I don't expect Canelo would be extraordinary. It would be better for his promoters to realize this so they will give the fans what they really wanted, a fight with Bivol or Benavidez.

Other reasons for that fight that I would like to think is that Canelo was advised by his doctor to be cautious about his wrist as it's not yet fully healed and he might get back to square one and risks the future fights if he will go all out, the only goal at that time was just to win and not to get a massive bounce back after his loss.

But that's just my though though Cheesy There might be a reason or there might not, who knows. In this upcoming fight, it will be hard to bet against the undisputed but I wouldn't expect a KO outcome.
Well for sure his team won't allow him to fight with a handicap 'coz they'd be losing their gem. Indeed as others have mentioned this is quite of a turn of event. Canelo still got the 'juice' for sure but Charlo isn't someone to be picked on without caution. As we ll know, this would be another must watch match but with this, I think I'd go with Charlo this time. A big fan of Canelo but everyone ages, his time is coming near as a pro boxer and this would be a good boost to Charlo's career, with that, I'm expecting him to be more of what he usually is. And on the other haand, Canelo is having a hard time at his aage, in every match. But I will definitely enjoy the match no maatter who the winner is.
1282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Virtual bug? on: July 05, 2023, 05:42:23 PM
I work for a casino house a couple of years ago - I could make a serial reference since it's been said in most of my post here.
Alright,?? Cashiers were assigned to manage the activities and book on desired games for all validated customers, but i normally noticed something very displeasing - sometimes, I felt bad for any gambler that lost in that same way and It looked to me like a kinda "money heist" program.
Here is it; A gambler could bet on correct scores - mind you, this all happens only in Virtual games - let's say, 3-0 and, since the games are being displayed on screens for them to confirm Thier winnings, it could even happen that the game stops at the 82nd minute, maybe with a 2-0 score, but once it rules out and updates the scores on the score sheets,.what we all see is 2-5...
Now the question is, how can 5 goals from the away teams be scored in barely a time to blink?? Could that have supposed to mean something different? Maybe a bug? Or is it some sort of misprogramming?

Sandra 🧑‍🦰

If you are talking about something that was done years ago then it would probably become harder to verify what had happened.
On a side not, many casino sites are created just to gain profits from their users. So we never know if it was an actual bug or they had implemented it in that way purposely.
In any condition, the casino site will just say it as a technical glitch and redirect the user to their terms and conditions where it would be written that they are not responsible for such glitches.
Tendency of some gambling platforms to cheat on their players is possible especially those which are not having long term vision of their site. One reason for them is to just easily abandon their platform and run with the money they have collected. But this is not to scare gambler; main point is to choose the best ones in the market given that there's plenty of options. Indeed glitches could either be an accidental or intentional bug. What would determine on which type it is, is whether it happens a lot and if it is not to a single player or game or match. What is assure is to not be ble to determine such scheme in a single glance no matter how good you are as a gambler.
1283  Economy / Gambling / Re: Challenge One Million Dice Bets with Profit every week. on: July 05, 2023, 05:06:35 PM
@OP
these are bad quotes  Angry
" Quit gambling also seems like impossible."
if you can't stop betting or realize that you have gambled "too much money"
"This ******* account cost me at least 350k USDT."
you should review your plans and avoid doing further activities (like a stream) which in turn will force you to bet even more...
I notice that other people are saying the same thing... (like Hispo one message behind me...)
Just depends on what type of a gambler you are. If you are too eager to get rich thru gambling, then you will have a bad start and ending in this industry. Once you became unrealistic with gambling, it is where problems would arise. The idea, as we all know, which gives gambler an idea of such, are instances of few players winning big time without realizing the huge number of players losing. This is a game of fate and luck and no one has it most of the time. We are more likely to lose if we would be more exposed into it. Not to mention that we have different bankrolls to make chances of winning, bigger by having more chances to bet. But winning will never be guaranteed no matter what.
1284  Economy / Gambling / Re: What other gambling sites offers free bitcoins like freebitco on: July 04, 2023, 11:49:52 PM
Faucets? Well, not all gambling sites are having the same offer. Some have singing bonus, referral rewards, withdrawal and deposit bonuses, and the likes. I think they're the same with the concept of faucet since it is gambling site that you are looking for. But if it is outside this industry there are lots of option to choose from. However it won't be directly Bitcoin as tgeir payment. Most of the time, it is project's token. But as others have mentioned, most of the faucets right now are non-paying unlike before wherein it was even a good source of income along with signature campaigns.
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 04, 2023, 05:22:03 PM
When it comes to online casinos, kids are caught out if they are kids when they are asked to do KYC by the casinos so they don't unless they borrow an adult's identity. And it seems like this is an easy thing for minors because they can borrow the identity without difficulty.

But if minors play at crypto casinos, it seems they can freely play casino gambling because there are still many crypto casinos that don't require KYC verification and only use email. There are even casinos that only require a wallet-to-casino connection so that minors can buy coins at exchanges that are verified by adults and have them sent to their personal wallets.
I am still optimistic that there are still quite a lot of gambling cases for minors, maybe the average age is below the average for people who play more online games. In this case it may be that minors from countries other than the US are still prohibited from accessing casinos or operating crypto casinos. But do not rule out environmental factors that influence.

Are there any cases you mentioned of minors smoothly running crypto casinos? and how is their scheme when it comes to controlling crypto wallets? Doesn't it take a little skill and knowledge enough? This is just my big question mark because as far as I know, minors use fiat currency more than crypto.
Some uses this techbology, ofcourse, because of restrictions concerninf age. We have to accept it that the generations now aare more inclined with technology. This is why KYC is implied to many gambling sites especially with web 3.0 to somehow lessen young ones' exposure of this technology. Unfortunately, there are just ways which still allows gamblers below 18 years old to still gamble in this platform. As we all know, this restiction of age is concerned with their capability of gambling. They are mostly not having jobs to suffice and that also means thir money would be coming from other means such as from their parents and such. They would be more prone to addiction given that they are getting the money that they gamble, easier.
1286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do 90% of Bettors Lose in Sports Betting in the Long-term? on: July 04, 2023, 04:07:36 PM
Not only with sportsgambling but to all gambling games. Reason? Winning is never certain therefore playing more often would expose you to higher risk. Even if you happened to won big, it'll eventually be turned into loss; you won't win always. Higher exposure means higher risk unless you are lucky enough. Analysis would work indeed in sportsbetting but as we all know, anything could happen within a match. Even underdogs has chances to win and if you would be too greedy of winning because you have a lowe odd bet, then be prepared to suffer big time as well once the unexpected happens. We are all prone to greed and frustration.
1287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling scenario that keeps repeating on you on: July 04, 2023, 03:20:05 PM
Not on the bet I guess but just frequent coincidence  it just so happened that you are noticing it but there's really no such pattern. You might just be having a bad day or week or even month, and it is a normal thing especially if you are a daily gambler. There'll be no consistency for sure; try to do that for a week or month and for sure things would change. 'coz if it won't then there's somthing wrong with the platform you are playing at. If it is a pure luck based game you are playing, you'd see some of pattern like things but as the name suggests, it is just one's fate which is on the line. Just a tip is to avoid betting with frustration just because you lose often. Much better to atleast take a pause if it is not your day.
1288  Economy / Speculation / Re: Less than 300 days left to halving - price predictions for The Day? on: July 03, 2023, 11:24:28 PM
We still have a few months of preparation to accumulate Bitcoin little by little in our wallets. A lot can happen in the market to be honest. Then I also see that many investors are already preparing for this matter, especially the whale investors right now I think they are ready and really positioned for that time.

That's why we as ordinary community investors should do the same so that at least we don't get zero on the day of Bitcoin's bull run.
Accumulate if you can, choose to hold if you can. It simply depends on the investor to how will he/she make an asset more profitable by naking use of its potential. The market is filled with sideways movement and I think same thing would happen until halving. There is a mixed  point of view at this moment; some are selling because they tend to wait for a little longer for the price to fall down. While others are just buying at this point and are willing to wait for the price to continue increasing. Question is; are you on the side you know to yourself, manageable? Ofcourse the price could move either up or down, but eitherway, would you be having your own strategy to cope up with extreme price volatility? you should.
1289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 will determined bitcoin fate on: July 03, 2023, 10:51:02 PM
Not an enough basis. Also, next year would still be too early to determine the fate of this industry in general, including Bitcoin. There are still a lot of room for improvement. The anticipated Bitcoin halving won't be the only thing to decide for this industry's future or even Bitcoin. Overall addoption on its usage would be more likely to determine what will happen in the future. Recently   banks are opening the door  even if it is thru third party, for cryptocurrency transactions. Still, it is a good thing given that there are issues between cryptocurrencies and baanking institutions. If other countries or alike institutions would be putting trust in this industry, then there's really a bright future for this technology.
1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How big is your optimism for crypto investment? on: July 03, 2023, 10:31:14 PM
Not too big, not too small.
We all know how profitable crypto investment is, but also knowing how risky it is and that profit won't come in an instant, I think it would be bad to have high expectations of it 'coz it might affect investor's emotion in the first place which is a must to avoid. Yes, you may earn huge money from picking the right coin or altcoin perhaps but since not all coins would be like it, then your winnings could be turned into losses if you would be too eager and optimistic of the outcome in every investment. Would always be manageable risk than going all out.
Those who have been in this crypto space long enough will definitely be optimistic about crypto currency despite the current market situation because they understand the trend. But those who are new to crypto will probably be regretting because of course what they are seeing currently doesn't match their expectations.
Things are the same I guess to both new and old crypto investors. It just that old crypto investors understand this market more which lowers down the optimism unlike on our early days in this industry.
1291  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this a Strategy? Is it a good Strategy? on: July 03, 2023, 05:33:28 PM
Bad publicity is still publicity. Popilar individuals would gain more popularity if they'd do things likewise and what brings them money on such instances, is simply being more known by more people. Then views would follow then monotization. Quite of indirect effect on their chosen careers. There are even instances that these influencers are doing things in contrast with morality and decency. Whether it is a good strategy or not would be determined by those who trusted doing so. It would be off for use to link things with always the trend so therefore, anyone could be someone bigger in the future depending on what lifestyle he is showing perhaps. For sure there's more into this.
1292  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats your thought on: July 03, 2023, 04:49:33 PM
I'm curious about the recent pump in Bitcoin's price. What are your thoughts on the factors that contributed to this surge? Do you believe it was primarily driven by positive news, investor speculation, increased mainstream awareness, or a combination of these factors? How do you think this pump will impact the overall cryptocurrency market? Looking forward to hearing your insights and opinions!"
As we all know, demand is the only thing behind every market price increase. But knowing exactly what created the demand, is close to impossible 'coz there are many factors affecting the demand; news, communities such as this forum, big investor manipulation, month of the year(?), issues and more. Bottomline is demand. But if we would base in this industry  solely, this might be because of the upcoming halving. Indeed there's still a long way but that's just how powerful expectations are. Many people in this industry know what happened with the previous one therefore many investors are accummulating at this piint even if there's a chance for a lower market price along the way.
1293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does lottery rewards expire? on: July 03, 2023, 04:18:38 PM
Not quite sure but if I'm not mistaken there's a code in every ticket or such that tickets are numbered which could be a factor especially with land based lotteries. Also, it would be impossible that lottery providers would allow people to have such advantage right? So more likely there's an expiration. With regards to online platforms, I think same thing goes for it. It is simply the edge or advaantage from doing so in which providers cannot allow to happen but on the other hand there's a slight tendency for such lottery combination to be doubled, trippled or more (well winners would have to split the prize in most instances therefore, this is not subject to bankruptcy.) At the end of the day, lotteries won't make it possible for them to be pushed due to their own scheme perhaps being condifent that the number of bettors and the amount they are getting, is still sustainable to the platform or provider itself.
1294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 03, 2023, 03:25:54 PM
Depends on the amount you have won for sure. Well, many players are having the idea of winning as well, likewise with the few who won big time. But once you got in such position, perhaps winning the jacpit, there is a high tendency for you to play more and longer. Reason is the excitement and greed you will feel in such moment. But this is not to generalize; there are people who managed to get out of gambling industry after winning big time. Bottomline depends on the kind of gambler you are. Once you let your emotions play, things would be different for sure. Ofcourse it would be better to be able to quit the moment you got such idea. Problem arise once you struggle.
1295  Economy / Gambling / Re: won cash x drop but no prize?? on: July 02, 2023, 05:47:55 PM
Do you have proofs? 'coz if your intention is to catch the attention of the ones who organized and started this event, it would be helpful. However, ofcourse it would be better to first try contacting the providers of the contest. And as you have mentioned, you already did. Try a couple of times and if they won't be responsive then they would be subject for scam label. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with this contest. One thing is for sure, if they won't be sending rewards to eligible participants, then that is already an answer. But be sure as well to get things straight specially with the rules and instructions 'coz you might as well have a mistake.
1296  Economy / Economics / Re: Am I a bad person if I manage to avoid taxes? (Hypothetical question) on: July 01, 2023, 08:33:01 PM
In huge transactions? I doubt. You are still paying taxes with daily needs, or things you are buying on a daily basis. Sometimes taxation is unfair especially to corrupted countries. Taxation is a good idea but if it will just be gong to corrpted officials' pocket, I won't mind avoiding it. Perhaps in my country wherein there's a huge tax percentage to purchases especially expensive ones. Things are okay and all but no economic progress can be seen. The money should be used with government projects but happened to just be a cashcow to some bad individuals. This I guess guilts me more, than actually paying it. It is quite becoming a waste of money.
1297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be intimidated on: July 01, 2023, 08:03:36 PM
Some individuals just hear about the profit and success of bitcoin and they rushes towards it because they think that they will earn money without any hard work but they don't have any idea that what risk factor it possess and how to overcome it.

So I will suggest that if you don't know about something then try to understand about it try to get knowledge first. Everyone knows that bitcoin gives benefit to its holders but it doesn't not mean that you will put all amount of money that you have but it means that you should start with little and then have to use your profit in investment rather than using your amount of daily use.

If you don't have understanding about bitcoin then whatever you do you will never be successful without getting the basis knowledge about it so just focus to keep the basic points in mind prior to put money.
This is how powerful impressions are. Cryptoinvestment are either known for being a fraud or a quick way to be rich, but neither are certain. There are indeed scam projects but not all. There are indeed people who made huge money but not all as well. It will never be right to generalize as we all know. But indeed that is a factor for such misconceptions, to be lacking of knowledge to where you are engaging yourself with. Best thing to do is to invest with knowledge first 'coz you'd be ending up with huge loss from going right off the start. Everything needs time to grow and there should not be a belief that such thing as an easy way to be successful; you have to work hard for it.
1298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is your Gambling Pattern Like? on: July 01, 2023, 03:45:05 PM
If you're a daily gambler, for sure you'd be filled with ups and downs and if worse, down for a week or more. Problem is we cannot be certain of winning. Losing most of the time is more evident to majority of gamblers. The more we gamble, the bigger the chance of losing. I think profit will be fully earned if you know how to limit oneself or to know when to stop. Perhaps you win bigtime;if greed will take over and you would push yourself to experience it again, then what's more likely to happen is for your winnings to be eaten up by losses. This is the unfortunate reality in gambling that no matter how we wanted to be rich by means of gambling, it would always be a punch to the moon.
1299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We All Know, The halving time will be full of drama on: June 30, 2023, 11:53:04 PM
So, is this a good thing? I don't agree with you, the drama shouldn't happen, if this keeps happening, they will continue to create drama in the future to try dump Bitcoin again. If they are late to buy, they have to be fair to buy Bitcoin at a high price, don't dump it to make panic the weak hand.
You are afraid of it, but I am not scared because drama has been an integral part of this market since it was created. Like it or not, it will happen, so we can't do anything but adapt and find a way to live with it. After all, bitcoin is a financial market, a money game, and to create volatility, drama is indispensable. As I said, because this is a game and dumping is inevitable, we should take it as a good opportunity if you want to buy low and sell high.
The thing is, I do not consider Bitcoin to be a money game, I always considered that Bitcoin is future solution money. so I take it seriously like I invest property. I don't know why out there, many people still have that thought and think Bitcoin is Goods and can be played as other centralized assets like stocks and foreign currency. So If you want buy, buy it on spot exchange, where we can withdraw it and save on a non-custody wallet.

Do you really see bitcoin as the future solution money? If you consider it the currency of the future, then why would you care about its price daily, even if your topic is profit oriented rather than treating it as the future currency? If you consider it a currency, you should use it every day regardless of its price, you should not store it or buy or sell low sell high. That makes you no different than I am looking at bitcoin as a speculative to make a profit. Yes, I use centralized exchanges to buy bitcoins, but that doesn't mean I'm storing bitcoins on centralized exchanges, I'm not that stupid.
I believe that the majority of us don't expect Bitcoin to become a future currency, nor are we planning to use it in our daily lives. Let's be honest here: it doesn't make too much sense to be used in that way; it's volatile and extremely valuable. Why would someone pay with Bitcoin and not a fiat currency that constantly depreciates in value? Nowadays, Bitcoin is considered an asset, similar to gold. Would you pay with gold in your daily life? Probably not. Thus, I don't see any practical reason to use it in our daily lives, unless it's for speculative purposes.
Indeed, now that the fees are high simply because the market value keeps on increasing. It would only be advantageous for huge transactions to avoid taxes but with regular or daily transactions, I doubt. Bitcoin is popular because of its volatile market value but with uptrend pattern in a long run. It is more being used as an asset than being a currency. Well, there's nothing wrong with it but people who are pushing to use it on a daily basis are more likely the ones who are not doing so. We are majority of investors here for sure. And it is still a valid action given that there are still issues on its usage and acceptance across countries. But let's see as this industry continues to grow.
1300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: turn $40,000 into $4,000,000 with me (Record 0-0) | $40,000 on: June 30, 2023, 11:31:46 PM
Interesting but would you be betting everything or all out in every match or some sort of diversification on different matches? 'coz if it would always be all out bet, I doubt you'd reach it without fail. You can have a good analysis of the matches, good instincts and good reasoning but this is gambling; no one is certain of winning no matter how low the odd is. Anything could happen in a match, as we all know, that even underdogs could be triggered by luck and end up winning the game. But I would want to give you a good luck on this. Bravery, still , but not advisable indeed to all players. Quite of a big amount also, but if that's under your tolerance then you're good.
