321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling/ eSports betting stream on: February 19, 2024, 03:08:56 PM
I am not trying to discourage you or anything but instead of asking if there are people on this forum who would be interested in watching your stream, why not just share your stream videos and see if people here find your stream interesting. having crypto giveaways could attract some viewers but in the end, your content will be the deciding factor whether they will stay and continue to watch you or not.
Would be a good thing to start with, indeed. Also keep in mind that it is not easy to run it. Streaming will make you visible to audiences now the question is, how will you filter the audience? First of all it is important as well; you are streaming and that more likely means you want to establish influence and to gain viewers trust right? Be sure to display it to rightful audience given that gambling is not a simple activity. There could be people relying on the things that you will be sharing and tht includes some peope who would be too unrealistic just because someone gives them a tip or guidance. Also with cancel culture, not all people supports streamers promoting gambling contents, would you be fine of it? I know you have good motives of doing so with your giveaways but always extend your thinking of how your actions will affect other people.

But going back with the question whether people here will support you, it depends on how well would you be introducing your platform to the public. It has something to do with being 'interesting' if you really want to succeed.
322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling between the past and nowadays on: February 18, 2024, 11:34:24 PM
We have all noticed the changes that have occurred in gambling over the past years, as gambling in 1990 or before is not the same as it is today due to several factors, including:
-Ease of playing and more casinos.
-Inventing new tools and methods of playing.
-Online gambling and the emergence of easy-to-use applications that support all games.
-The method of advertising has changed, becoming more effective and attracting more players.
-The presence of liquidity due to the increase in the amounts that players bet.
-Provides more profit opportunities..

In your opinion, what are the factors that brought  change in the field of gambling? What is your outlook on it in the future?

More than anything, the fact that gambling got digitized is what shot it to limelight. You see, it was remotely done in different zones and of course, there were limitations and no cross-boarder network systems that could facilitate international gambling as at then but today, the digitized system has crippled all those barriers and set a new plane for equality irrespective of your location, as long as you can access these online platforms, you are good to go.
Another is web 3.0 online gambling which is a big step for gambling industry. There are other businesses and platforms which have adopted digital payments and transactions but only a few industries have chosen to include blockchain technology on their advancements, and that includes crypto adoption. Biggest pro? People living in countries wherein there is a widescale restriction with gambling, could still play and enjoy the beauty of gambling. Addiction on the other hand is another concern given that it is dependent with the gambler as an individual and not with the activity itself. There's more to come for this industry and it might include 3d online betting if technology advancements will make it possible, but will boil down indeed for further convenience with overall gambling experience.
323  Economy / Speculation / Re: 60k possible before end of this month? on: February 18, 2024, 05:50:55 PM
Hard to guarantee. First of all we just have passed the idea of investing, if not at its lowest, it should be the one that will be increasing the chances. $60k is indeed close to the current market price however, unless such thing is shown by the market, we shouldn't be way comfortable of just taking an entry and just waiting for how things will really behave. And given that end of this month is getting closer, it would be hard thinking that a match between demand and volume could really and accurately take place in the market til the end of this month. Even with few days remaining, we cannot guarantee whether investors will be able to still pull things out. $60k is a close target but it will never be easily reached by the market. A correction with its value could still take place and make a change with investors' perception especially the new ones out there. I'd more expect its market price to reach its previous ATH after the halving wherein if we woud base from the past, that's the only time chances of price increase is most evident.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your view and your opinion about Ethereum? on: February 18, 2024, 12:52:54 PM
As an investment asset - Ethereum is one asset that has the potential to give you profit.
Same with bitcoin - Ethereum has a great community and use cases so far, but it won't be as big as bitcoin. The profit potential on bitcoin is no greater than on Ethereum - but Ethereum can never guarantee a better future than bitcoin.

If you like diversification - buy Ethereum and be a holder for some time. In the next bull market - Ethereum could possibly give you returns worth with the risk you consider.
Ethereum for me, has the same future with Bitcoin. Market prices are aligned and if it is with projects running on its chain, there are plenty surfacing this industry. Ethereum has a more stable market price if to be compared with Bitcoin which I think, makes it fair to say that investing to Ethereum is the same as with Bitcoin, not exactly but alignment is there for sure. Try observing every news, uptrend and downtrend with these two. We cannot deny that Ethereum is as good as Bitcoin investment. Potential wise, Ethereum is the best altcoin in this industry. It also has a progressive development over years. It is more acknowledged than with other altcoin chains. Personally, with major coins in this industry, my bankroll is only diversified between the two excluding other projects in this industry and so far, things are doing well especially at this point that prices are close to its ATH.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it letting the bank know that you are a BTC Investor? on: February 18, 2024, 12:14:43 PM
Actually it is fine letting your bank know about being an investor as long as they don't have restrictions of it; some banks are fine with it 'coz they are still getting profit from the transactions given that your wallet is under their banking institution. Actually I have a friend of mine whose money in a bank was questioned by the bank itself. That money is from crypto investments and since amounts in blockchain is not taxable. They asked him to send supporting documents if he wants to keep his account but fortunately he chose to move to other bank instead and it turned out to be a better option. At the end of the day, we are just clients of them and we have to comply with their rules. We always have options in every situation in the first place which makes no sense to push things. This industry is still young and adoption still is in progress.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why in some religion gambling is forbidden? on: February 18, 2024, 10:31:29 AM
Nowadays, in this day and age, many people don't really adhere to religion, maybe because of the needs of life or activities and habits, you behave well is enough, at least what you do doesn't disturb other people and general peace, you will be seen as more respectable, after all Never link everything to religion, it will prolong matters, it depends on how you respond to religion in your life
Their faith is aligned with their belief however, no one is perfect to not flaw at some doings, but doing so doesn't make them a bad person as long as they are not stepping other people's beliefs, alike or in contrast with what they believe. Culture is a factor. There are people who are active at churches but are still prone of sins and that includes gambling engagement. Depends I guess on your purpose also, to majority of religions, gambling is not directly and specifically cited. The manner gambling is becoming a bad thing has something to do with financial management. Addiction is the worst outcome of gambling which shoud be given more attention than it, being against religious values. Belief is you against your conducts and practices.

But going back with why gambling is forbidden in some religion, personally I'm not sure of it 'coz it is just an activity and is not against any values at all, even in my religion. I'd more believe that it will be against a family's moral because in many family settings, parents are the ones giving warning to their children on why gambling is a bad activity.
327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buying and Selling of Casino Accounts (Discussion thread) on: February 18, 2024, 08:40:46 AM
On several occasions, I've come across some individuals in chat groups, mostly on discord, telegram, and in other social groups like on Facebook, reddits advertising their intentions to sell their account on casino, casinos usually ranges from Stake - which is for sure, one of the biggest online casinos if not actually the biggest, to other casinos like BC.game, offer is usually available for mostly; casinos with a VIP ranking system, and the VIP level of the account (and of course the entitled amount of bonus to be received) is what usually determines the amount of money the seller would ask for from bidders.

Now, my question is..
- is it right to sell ones casino account, most especially when the account is KYCed?
- Do casinos have any policy against account sells?
- If you have the opportunity of buying a casino account, would you buy or build yours from afresh?
- Would you sell your casino account if you decide to leave gambling completely, most especially, your KYCed account? If yes, how do you trust the buyer?
- Over all, is casino account trading legitimate? If yes, should I create a thread where gamblers can easily post their casino account sell ads?

Lets make this thread a place to discuss everything related to buying and selling of casino account?
More likely there are rules restricting such instance among gamblers in every gambling platform. Also, there's a risk and I won't have thoughts of buying someone else's account just because of KYC requirements. Personally, I'm fine submitting or complying to KYC procedures. The risk I mentioned is unauthorized access with the account simply because they have access with back up emails, we just cannot tell given that the seller owns it in the first place. I won't risk my funds for this one. If you are not okay with KYC requirements then there are other sites you can choose from which does not require such procedure. Treat your gambling site account as a bank simply because it holds your funds whenever you are gambling. Selling mine won't be a good option because it could be involved with unwanted activities and take note of your personal identity which is binder with the account itself.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever introduced an elder gambler to online betting? on: February 18, 2024, 07:45:45 AM
Not many parents really gamble nowadays because gambling is dominated by young people, I myself have never introduced online gambling to someone who is elderly because it can trigger them to be curious and can cause addiction, parents sometimes don't. think too much about the risks because things seem to be a good challenge for them besides that they don't feel lonely because there are activities that can keep them busy, therefore I would rather not introduce online gambling to elderly people.

It is true that when an elderly person is susceptible to disease, especially high blood pressure and heart attacks. Gambling games can trigger this disease if parents gamble and risk all their money and lose, this is of course very life-threatening because they don't think about the risks they will face so they experience things that can cause disease to themselves.
Depends on where you live, if you live in the third wold or poor countries, any parents won't want to see one of their family become a gambler because they know they're not rich and still struggle to build wealth. Many family didn't even earn enough, that's make them live from paycheck to paycheck, so how can they have money to gamble in the first place?

If you live in first world or rich countries, you have many options because you earn enough, either you use your money for investment, entertainment, both etc.
Not with what country you are living in I guess, but with the culture. Such as in my country that even if people are not that wealthy, older individuals are hooked up with street gambling games e.g. card games, cockfighting, toss coins, and the likes. Bets aren't that big but gambling is gambling. And if it is inteoducing online betting with them then, only a few of them would be interested 'coz majority of elders in my area aren't tech savvy. Elders' source of money are either their monthly pension or from their child who provides for them, well anyway that's none of our business.

Point here probably is whether introducing this technology to them would do good or bad to them. And if that's the case then it depends on the gambler on how he/she will use this platform. It's on them whether they would be taking advantage of the convenience online gambling will give them.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Well Prepared For the Bull Market And So Far In Bitcoin Investment. on: February 17, 2024, 08:02:58 PM
If you're here for years then you should know what to do, now that bullmarket is happening and that halving is again anticipated. Well, yes, we cannot guarantee that same thing will exactly happen but given the fact that Bitcoin is now again close to its ATH, there's a big tendency that the highest market price could be again reached. FUDs and such should be also expected because of possible market manipulation but since you have already accumulated a decent amount of it, then you should be prepared of whatever is about to take place before, during, and after the anticipated event.

I am also building a good portfolio at this point to be prepared as much as possible. Bullrun might have taken place earlier than expected therefore correction could take place any day from now. Most of the tokens are recovering which is something you would want to look forward with, in the next couple of months.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most challenges faced by gamblers on online casino platforms? on: February 17, 2024, 07:28:04 PM
We may also consider that there is no fair play in most of the online casinos that is why it is so hard to get winnings in there. Most of the time you will get this losing streak in favor of the platform or the owner rather than you win the traditional way.
We don't need to spend so much money if we know that there are no fair gambling games in most online casinos. It wouldn't be worth doing, considering we would just lose much money.
It's better if we just gamble enough so that we don't lose a lot of money and can enjoy it. Even though we lose, it's not a big loss because we know that gambling is not a place to make money.
After all, gambling should be done when we are free and don't need to gamble for too long. Otherwise, we will just lose a lot of money. But many gamblers don't think about this and instead continue gambling.
That's what makes them lose a lot of money.
If you think that games aren't fair then you should quit gambling already. Nothing's fair in the world; if you are just wanting to win most of the time then gambling is not for you. You could wish and hope for the best results but that won't happen if you are not lucky enough. Not because we are often losing means games are not fair. You could also move with games which are more strategica such as with sportsbetting and cardgames. Analysis and strategies would work on such games however nothing will be guaranteed still. Gambling is a place where you COULD make money from, however it won't take place just because you desired of it. Gambling is profitable simply because we are seeing players who are actually winning. All of these would be only determined by your luck and not because the provider themselves are taking advantage of the idea behind gambling.
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do people truly risk their money on bets for profit? on: February 17, 2024, 03:50:54 PM
I came across a recent topic where the op was saying over 80% of gamblers gamble to make money and I had to have a dip thought on that and was curious as to know if there are possibilities that people gamble just for the sake of answering the name gambler?
Nearly eighty percentage of the gamblers are doing gambling for the money making.
From my opinion, I think there isn’t any need to stake or risk one’s money on a game simply because you want to catch fun when you could simply not risk your money and still have fun while watching same game.
I don’t know if I’m really staying my points well but I wish to know if people really have to gamble without intentions of making money?
There could be a side of 'fun' in relation with thrilling experience. Some sort of how adrenaline works to some people. A sensation of overcoming something which made you feel nervous and that could be another side of gambling which entertains people. However, if it is for a particular thing which pushes people to gamble then it is for sure profit. Correct analogy, why would someone bet for fun only if there are other ways to be entertained? Activities to enjoy? Profit distinguishes gambling from other activities. Unfortunately, this is also the reason why many gamblers are getting addicted into it.

Is there someone who doesn't want to get rich? It happened that such feat could be given or earned from gambling activities but no matter how you look at it, that's just a tendency and will never be guaranteed no matter what strategy you are using. It would only be determined by your luck and chance. People are way too hopeful with gambling which makes them disregard the possibility of losing.
332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Escape Debt with Gambling: A Dangerous Cycle on: February 17, 2024, 03:23:12 PM

I haven't replied to him and I am not answering his call as I feel I would be doing injustice if I say yes. I am confused and do not know what to do, what do you guys suggest?
He can't and he should not force you to do so especially if it is against your will, if he's really a friend of you. If he would insist and would be mad of your rejection then consider avoiding that friend of yours.  First of all, we all know how gambling works. Even if there's somewhat of a cheat, it would be impossible to last forever without the gambling provider, finding out eventually. They won't allow their platform to be abused by players for a long time without them doing anything to resolve the bug. And if his solution to debt is making it out thru gambling, then he's really making a bad decision. Much better if he would think of a way to pay it without taking any risk before he put himself to a worse situation. Nothing's easy and assured with gambling. He might have experienced some tweaks but trust me, no such thing is permanent.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stick to some Casinos or do you try out new ones? on: February 17, 2024, 02:43:51 PM
As long as my needs and wants to a gambling platform is being given to me by a certain site, then I'd be fine to stick with it. It is a bit risky I think to move from one another and I cannot see any reason especially if the site you are in is good already. I do understand that some players are chasing bonuses, wagering, deposit and withdrawal requirements, but they're almost the same. Also, it is quite doubting with unrealistic rewards from new platforms because those sites are more likely to turn out as fraud and scam. Basically, a gambling site cannot afford to give that much consistently because it would be loss on their end. There might be some inconvenience with transactions to almost all sites sometimes, but those are tolerable for me.

There are also times loyalty rewards are being offered to some platforms which makes sense to stay on their site. I'm a bit curious of why some gamblers wants to move to multiple sites unless for the reason of game availability.
334  Economy / Economics / Re: Step up your game before the game steps you down. on: February 16, 2024, 08:38:05 PM
If only we know how bad the economy is degrading globally, we would want to push ourselves to our limit and focus on that our skill or business. Taking it up to the next level. Some persons are still skeptical about the business they own, while some are waiting for the opportunities, they were promised to them by friends or relative and others are comfortable because they have rich people around them that if they place a call, they will answer them.

As the economy is getting worst it is difficult for a responsible adult to go to bed without planning on how to grow his business or how to attract new customers, not just new though but potential customers and business partners that will have big influence in his business. Time waits for no man. Yes, the life is filled with ups and down, but we won't stop trying so that we can have that impact on the existence of man just like how other nerds have done.
To seek for progress and improvement is never a bad thing, but to be one sided is. Many people are believing that business will make you rich which is indeed true, however not in all instances. Many people has the capability to start a business and many people actually did but as we all know, not all businesses are successful. It is fine to dream of having one someday but never chain your future to it alone. There are people who became rich or to be in a wealthy lifestyle because of their work or profession, and some people moved to investment and business field after having a good salary from their job. Eitherway would be fine but if you will be too reliant of business as if there's no ither way then you are seeking for a shortcut. Whether it is your job or business you are having, nothing will be too easy especially when it comes to success.

Not sticking with a single stream of income is already a good thing to personalize. The economy keeps on getting worse indeed but never force things to happen just because you saw the outcome from other people. Before eyeing the result, at least enjoy your journey.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing when to own your bitcoin on: February 16, 2024, 07:50:59 PM
Consider yourself lucky. But you can't always count on luck, because luck is a fickle thing and you can't make a lot of money on luck alone. After all, someday you may be unlucky and lose all your money. In investments, luck should be in the last place.
But we cannot discredit what he have done whether it's just luck or not, having the courage to do so should still be more emphasized in this instance. Let us just hope that he won't be too confident of the profit and to be careless of the possibilities with regards to the next market price behavior of Bitcoin and this market in general.

And as per the right time to invest, there's no such thing to be honest. Just invest when you're ready and once you are aware of how things work in this industry. If you are one of those who are too optimistic of the market price direction, then better yet to pull out your investment or to not invest at all. The market is way too unpredictable 'coz the market prices despite of the increase recently, could still be manipulated and result to a sudden decline or price correction. Be prepared and know how to respond; just if incase it take place any day, know to yourself if you can afford continuing the hold or to take profit for now and wait for another opportunity to enter and maximize the profit.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The person who can’t control emotions in gambling will never earn money from it on: February 16, 2024, 06:09:34 PM
Well, even if you have control of your feelings, you won't win if you're unlucky. However, having such feat which is control of your emotions and decisions, will help you avoid addiction and huge loss. Frustration and greed are the emotions you won't want to take over your gambling activity 'coz you would either be chasing for loss or profit by that time. Winning will never be guaranteed no matter how much you pray and desire of it 'coz we have no control of every outcome of our bets. It would be much better to anticipate losing in order to avoid the unwanted results. In such way, you may still lose but most likely an amount inside your loss tolerance.
The emotions of players on gaming websites often play a crucial role in determining their success or failure. When players experience stress or disappointment due to losses, it can lead to impulsive decisions and even greater losses. Therefore, in my opinion, controlling one's emotions and maintaining composure are important for effective gaming and achieving positive results.

Not only with online gambling but to all platforms gambling is being done. But ues, impulsion with bets may really take place especially when your expectations or expectancy of winning is not met. Having control of your emotions will help you last longer in this industry unlike those who were forced to stop due to debt and financial incapibility to continue. Gambling indeed is risky and outcomes are not in our hands, but the way we would be embracing the result is definitely dependent with us, gamblers.
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong Moves With Your Bitcoin on: February 16, 2024, 08:24:27 AM

Made mistakes with your Bitcoin in the past...that you still regret or at least considered to be a wrong move especially considering the price of BTC these days?

Selling Bitcoin for urgent needs in the past, I think was the right decision if it was used for something useful.  although in the end there was regret when he saw the price of Bitcoin soaring high.  But that's where it's important to be able to manage your finances so you can separate funds for urgent needs and invest them in long-term investments in Bitcoin.

The decisions I made in the past were not a mistake but a study to correct myself if Bitcoin is indeed very valuable as a long-term investment.
That's urgency and circumstances taking place to an investor's life and I agree that he did the right thing. Regret is normal to be felt in such instance that upon selling it suddenly increased however, what might be the reaction if there was a sudden decline that time? Will it be the same? Most likely it won't and that's just how things work in this industry. No one is certain of the next market price movement and if you need to act upon your daily life struggle concerning your investments and expenses, then pulling out your asset if it will aid the financial problem, is the right thing to do. Also, it won't be the end of your investment journey. You can always start again if you want and there's never a 'too late' moment until its market price again reach its ATH, 'coz that would be the only time recession on its value is guaranteed in relation with price correction.
338  Economy / Economics / Re: Some persons lacks financial sensibilities on: February 15, 2024, 06:16:17 PM
This is just how awkward and lack of financial sensibilities some women could be who just sits, makes demands and gets what they wanted without having the compassions of how hard it is to make the money's they spends so carelessly.

You have a choice. Everybody does. You don't have to continue with your relationship, don't you? If you don't like that person's behavior and that behavior could be anything, just leave her/him. Look for somebody else that has the right behavior for you. If you can't find anyone like that, then being alone is still better than having a partner that you don't like. In the long run you will hate that person more and it will bring you huge trouble. You will get hurt emotionally and financially. Is it worth the trouble? I don't think so. When people like you make these right decisions, the other side will have to fix their attitude. It may take decades but it will happen.
Indeed, never waste time complaining. There are male individuas who prefers being the provider of the relationship and to their partner on not to work at all and to just focus with their home perhaps, or their things such as studies. There's no need to force things 'coz you'll just end up with burnout. Engage with people that will match your preferences and interest. Not because they are not into investment means that they have no "future" within. There are just preferences; some are aiming for a higher position at work, and that's just fine. And with financial awareness, try to give her your insights of things to know if each of you would suit well with one another, if you really love her than to hide your negative viewpoints that will eventually affect the relationship in general.
339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causes loss on: February 15, 2024, 04:50:03 PM
where he lost his money. What will be your suggestion for my friend to recover from the gambling addiction.
His addiction is unbearable to see for a friend like you, unfortunately, he will not listen to you, there should be someone that he respects he will listen, preferably his wife or his parents, and the only way to cure him is through rehabilitation, advice will not work anymore, he needs a program laid out by professional to cure the symptoms of addiction, this is the height of addiction, where you are losing a lot but you cannot and will not give up, so an immediate rehabilitation is very important.

his immediate family should be in the scenario here because they are the ones directly suffering the consequences of his gambling addiction. if your friend doesn't learn his lessons quick, he will be in the deteriorating stage of his life. and the dilemma here is that his family may already be suffering badly from his addiction.
His own will and awareness would be they key on escaping addiction, also with the help of professionals. Of course if you are a friend of him you will be concerned however things won't work easily. Even with his family members, it won't be enough to push him and change for the better. In some instances, letting him suffer and struggle first is the best thing. As many of us believes, the things we learned from experience is the best lesson in life. We could advise him to seek for professionals concerning addiction but if he won't cooperate then nothing's will be resolved. There are just people who never listens. Forcing him will just push him away so just be there if he will be needing your help and wait for that moment that he will ask for it 'coz that will be the moment he's conscious of how addiction is consuming him already.
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Repeating mistakes on casino games in gambling site on: February 15, 2024, 03:48:26 PM
I could not agree with that OP. Because it is hard and impossible to forget your mistakes when one day you experience big losses and in one day, you deeply feel regrets. Maybe this happens if you never gambled for many many years that even makes you forget how to gamble. But we are just talking about having some days for a gap which I believe every time were in gambling our mistakes will appear on our minds. Mistakes will never happen in our life again if we stop gambling but because we are still doing this, expect to experience it again and again. Our mistake here is we are chasing winnings and thinking we could win and beat the house always.
There's no way to forget how to gamble, you're just placing a bet, nothing else except you're playing table games. But after playing for few matches, I'm sure you will remember how to play it and the strategy you were use.

In order to avoid mistake due to gambling beyond your limit, you don't have to stop gamblng! just use the money you can afford to lose and never deposit more.
No strategies of winning the game work anyway except for strategies controlling bankroll or the amount you wager, which aims to prolong and manage the amount you will use  or to avoid big loss in an instant. With casinos games, the only bottomline is you luck for that day you chose to gamble. You could only diversify your bankroll between bets to have more bets basically and to somehow increase the chance of winning ; the more you bet, the higher probability of winning however not guaranteed.

With repition of mistake, quitting is not the best option, if the mistake you are referring is bankroll management wherein you could change if you will be willing to do so. But if it is mistakes with winning or losing the game,  then there's nothing you do do about it but to uit if you are stressing of it, that much. No matter how frustrated you are with results, nothing will change with games which only relies on one's luck and fate.
