It was a marketing strategy and they tried to say they raised so much in just a day or 2.

I doubt they raised anymore then 1 BTC.

You are ok with ICOs stating false information about how much they have raised to other potential investors... and you would call this a marketing strategy?

YES, definitely, we would hit our hard cap. We are on round 2 and out soft cap is already half-reached.
Our soft cap is $5,000,000

Currently smart investors have grabbed 3,111,374 BIBCs.

No, but when I'm 2 weeks into a bounty program I'm basically forced to go along with it.

There should be 0 tolerance for this sort of behavior.  aTriz has publicly admitted to lying to potential investors with advance knowledge in order to help raise funds fraudulently so he can get paid while "investors" become victims of his scheme.
12822  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: hilariousandco, Mitchell,Vod,Ognasty Bitblisscoin.com could be a scamsite on: April 05, 2018, 08:21:48 PM
No campaign manager should be seeing this as a marketing strategy and letting it go unhindered, especially from a group like ALU whom centers themselves around being "Trusted. Experienced."
This one is not on ALU, but solely on aTriz. People seem to make *unusual* assumptions as to how ALU works, although some of those aren't because of malevolent intent (unlike QS's).

Please explain what the point of ALU is, if a member's actions don't reflect upon the group?  I don't want to make any assumptions.

Satoshi created Bitcoin, then founded Bitcointalk to discuss it.  It's really not rocket science.

No one is jealous of this.  I think most people here aren't big in to sports.  I am a sports nut and would forget about this in my closet in a day.

I'm a little jealous.  I'd buy it in a heartbeat and hang it framed on my wall with spotlights if I thought for one minute it was authentic.  Sadly, there are just too many fakes like this to warranty purchasing such an item from anyone but a reputable dealer in my opinion.  Cry

Well, what else can I do.. No idea what to answer  Roll Eyes

It was authenticated through https://www.spenceloa.com/  which can be easily verified both on their website and with issued COA. How do people verify an item is authentic these days? Are there any other ways but to verify item through credible authentication service and by COA they issue after?  Smiley

Honestly, there's nothing you can do online (at least for me).  Maybe pictures of you watching the athletes signing this jersey.  I would need merchandise like this to be an actual product released by someone like Upper Deck.

Like this: https://www.sportsframes.com/lebron-james-autographed-framed-maroon-cavs-jersey-auto-upper-deck-coa-d2-l/

I may be less trusting than others as I've seen a documentary on fraudulent autographs and am aware that a majority of items like this are fraudulent, many times without their owners even being aware.  I tried to sell an autographed Rollie Fingers ball here once.  Nobody was interested and I even watched him sign it in front of me (ran into him at a Spring Training game in Surprise, AZ and talked about how a friend of mine sold him a house, so he signed a ball for me).  In this environment, I just don't think things like this will sell, regardless of how you treat perspective customers.
12825  Economy / Reputation / Re: Shady business dealings of aTriz on: April 05, 2018, 07:26:41 PM
aTriz, is there a list of the ICOs you've announced somewhere?  I'm sure you have no reason to hide this information right?
12826  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: [11.2kW SOLAR/WIND/MAN] NastyMining Green Energy Project ☀️💨💪🔋 on: April 05, 2018, 01:27:10 AM
There is undoubtedly efficiency savings from operating at a lower temperature and not using fans, but I would guess somewhere in the 5%-20% range.
Yeah those numbers are much closer to the actual savings that could be achieved.

You really can't ignore the air conditioning aspect when it comes to savings.  I estimate that using immersion cooling would save ~$1,500 annually on air conditioning costs (~15% efficiency improvement).  Not to mention cutting down on the impact of running an air conditioner would be a benefit for this project.

How do you cool the mineral oil though?
You have to change it every now and then once it reaches a certain temperature?

The system I'm looking at uses a water line to cool the oil in a heat transfer unit.
12827  Economy / Collectibles / Re: BEWARE of FAKE CASASCIUS COINS on: April 04, 2018, 11:34:45 PM
I imagine trusted owners of legitimate Casascius coins directly purchased from Mike could be greatly rewarded someday by collectors.

I get what you're saying but this isn't possible for blanks/peeled coins like the one referenced in the OP.

I’m sure fake holograms are out there.  I’ve been a bit surprised we haven’t seen fake loaded rounds in circulation yet.  Certainly it is only a matter of time.

Well unless they get that ANACS guarantee, then you will for sure know they’re real  Grin

Og seems to be douche-canoe of epic proportions but that's an entirely different topic.

I don’t think me having never sold an account and advising that Blazed remove the conflicts of interest rather than pay a fine deserves a personal attack.

12831  Economy / Reputation / Re: Regarding my Negative Trust. on: April 04, 2018, 10:22:02 PM
Users began to be suspicious of Zeroxal, and started asking him questions in a Slack chat. I believe you were a member of this Slack at the time, so you may remember this vaguely.

I remember it very well.  I witnessed the entire thing, which was you and your crew of extortionists acting like drunk 5 year olds who just learned profanity.  You referred to me as a scammer and NastyFans as a Ponzi many times, spreading lies that are still being spread by you today.  Keeping it 100% real, we both know that what started this was me in that slack chat saying that I put up a lot of NastyFans seats for sale and if someone bought them, I would use the funds to buy a solar array.  Then Zeroxal came forward and claimed he purchased the seats, which set me going solar in motion.  This set off a wave of jealousy that I have never witnessed in my life and still deal with from certain individuals today.  You as well as the others in the extortion allegation badgered Zeroxal with wacky claims for hours and eventually one of you resorted to calling his mother on the phone to harass his family.  The best you all could come up with was that Zeroxal had to have gotten his money illegally and is evading taxes, in a pathetic attempt to somehow tie me into receiving ill gotten funds for my solar project.  When Zeroxal showed that he had a lot of funds and tried to explain how he got them, it then turned into an extortion scheme of how you could all get your hands on his BTC.  You can say what you want now, but your statements are nothing more than lies, and since you've confirmed I was there and witnessed it, I'm fine to go public with the truth of what occurred as it seems you and others have buried many of the details and harassed Zeroxal to the point he doesn't want to participate here anymore.

My main gripe with NastyFans is that it is unprofitable, and that you hand pick and skew certain statistics in an attempt to hide this.

NastyFans is not unprofitable.  NastyFans has no costs, so what you're saying is actually impossible.  These are the kinds of lies you spread which I am absolutely sick of.  I've explained to you personally a hundred times now that the organization is run on donations and yet you still spread the same lies, now evolving to wasting my time justifying why I don't trust you.  I used to assume that you were uneducated and had no investment experience, so I'd take the time to explain to you what you don't understand but I've been down that road and seen how you simply ignore facts to continue spreading lies about me and things I'm involved in.  I'm sick of doing so at this point, as you're obviously trolling with comments like this.  I don't believe you are stupid enough to think that Apple as a company is unprofitable because the dividend is less than 100% annually.  Nobody is that stupid.  Please explain this unprofitable comment, as this is a perfect example of why I don't trust you, your judgement, or your opinion.

Like me, I still am not a quality poster but I'll just keep on posting until someone can finally realize that I've been trying my best here. Smiley

I just glanced over your recent posts to see if I could leave you merit for something.  Here's what stuck out to me.  Undecided

Then what do you think of it faggot?

Well this is only possible for IDIOTS.
12833  Economy / Reputation / Re: Regarding my Negative Trust. on: April 03, 2018, 11:39:33 PM
I listed exactly what I saw happening prior to you giving me a negative trust, and commented on the trust rating its self. Whatever implication you seem to think I am trying to slide in is in your own head.

You seem to want me to spend my time proving that I don't trust you, yet want to keep it focused to this one issue.  Really, I don't need any further justification than this so I will update that for you.  Although at some point when I have time I may outline the dozens if not hundreds of reasons why I don't trust you.  Perhaps you could make my job easier and answer the following questions?

Did you have advance notice that Lauda was going to send zeroxal an extortion demand?

Is NastyFans a Ponzi scheme?

Do I run NastyFans?

Am I nonnakip?

Did I self escrow a bet?

Is every coin I make considered a NastyFans coin?

Am I affiliated with Quickseller?

Do you think I would trust you with any BTC as a result of your behavior towards me?
12834  Economy / Reputation / Re: Regarding my Negative Trust. on: April 03, 2018, 10:59:11 PM
minifrij, your untrustworthy behavior goes far beyond that one example I gave. If you’d like me to dig up more examples, I can. I will however not take the time to do this right now, as I have more important things to spend my time on currently. Namely, engraving all the addresses for the latest NattyMind coins so they can get in the hands of forum members. My trust issues with a certain band of abusers has taken up astronomical amounts of my time over the last year. It isn’t going to continue this way. I’d rather you agreed that I don’t trust you for lots of reasons that you are well aware of, so I can save the time and you can save yourself a ridiculously long trust rating that will only make you look worse. I was trying to spare us both, but if you are going to make this an issue of you wrongly being mistrusted by me, I will oblige.  Again, I’d rather you took responsibility for the fact I don’t trust you as a result of your behavior over a period of years, but I wouldn’t expect anything less than you using this thread to try and make me seem like the big bad bully who is picking on you, which is absolutely false.

I keep seeing aTriz linked to more and more scams around here...

Any idea how many ICO scams aTriz has announced or how many of his managed signature campaigns ended up being for scam ICOs?

This one appears to be the latest:

This is another scam ICO https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2619311.0

I think we need to check his latest topics and findout how many he is running

I'm not sure who distanced themselves from who as a new thread was started, but this is another popcorn worthy ICO that was originally announced by aTriz:

I sometimes spend hours trying to find posts to leave merit.  Trying to find intelligent, helpful posts around here isn't the easiest thing to do.  I don't think lack of merit is the issue, at least for me.

12839  Other / Meta / Re: Conflict of Interest on DT1 on: April 03, 2018, 05:47:50 PM
What if Blazed donates $200 to the forum to get no negative trust? then everybody who has ever received negative trust for account selling should do the same. if Blazed donates $1000 to the forum. nobody would do the same. they don't sell accounts for such amounts.

Buying your way out of negative trust would be even more untrustworthy in my opinion.

Not to mention it would probably open Blazed up to a flood of extortion attempts.  I think the right thing to do for Blazed would be to remove those who have engaged in this behavior from his trust list to clear up any perceived conflict of interest.

Here are some true but unpopular words...  If it's an ICO, it is most likely a scam.
