I have always enjoyed sharing with others and hope the ride on this crypto card train has been both profitable and most of all fun for all.  The hunt for the elusive 1/1 silver and a few more red mini's continues on but, the hunt keeps getting a little more expensive .  Shocked

My subjective guess of the 7's value is based on today's market...3 years from now I know it could be monumentally different. However, the dramatic differences in prices are often reflected in the price guide. The fact that these are, let's NOT forget, the Cryptocurrency ROOKIES we're talking about....we all stand to make some serious dough ray me. Just have to maintain the same principals...HODL.  Wink

*And be careful of what you purchase now.

The 2018 A&G #83 card is without a doubt 100% the MLB true rookie card and the 2013 Crypto card is the (XRC) .  If anyone starts looking for it enjoy the hunt it is truly a lot of fun.  Cool

I hate that I'm late to this card party... can't justify buying in now after such a parabolic price run.  Collected baseball and basketball cards as a kid so i wouldve peed myself had I seen all this a few months ago.  sigh...

Hey Jack, I'll start you off and send you a regular mini #83 no charge I have a few extras.  Enjoy the ride.  Roll Eyes

With a bad corner and a bad edge.......it won't be a grade that anyone in here would want, that's for sure. I think it depends on the person grading it. It's anyone's call, because it's so subjective. If it is in fact a 7, then the ask is too high. I'd put it at the $300- $350, maybe a lower range. But that too is subjective....soooo...yeah. Just think Beckett's price guide, and the dramatic differences between each level grade. BIG difference in prices with the lower grades. That will never change. That's why we will see a rush to market with these low grade cards now. Trying to optimize their profits. Beware. Especially if it's a NO RETURNS item, you may have a battle on your hands.

You need to remember that arn't that many of these cards so a 7 could go quite high, just not quite yet

Keep seeing the ungraded version, makes one wonder if it's already been graded...given a low grade....taken from the slab and then attempting to resell in ebay at an elevated value. A contributing factor to the increase in value of the already graded ones, no doubt. Also makes me wonder what a graded PSA 9 would fetch now. Anyone care to take a guess? I was recently offered $900 for a graded 9 card, I passed on it and I feel that I did the right thing.  Tongue

* At least this guy admits that the card is not mint. Smiley

Venture a guess as to what it would grade? 7ish?

I think 7 is right, just fyi when you send a card in to be graded you can request a minimum grade and if it doesnt meet it the card is returned unslabbed.  Then you put it on the market as ungraded.  We all like buying a card with the potential of a 10 .  My opinion of a psa 9 value is around 1500+.  I had these in sets originally and couldn't hardly get any interest except a few like GP and bitcoinmagazine lol. Has there been a black x mini graded 10 yet? I have some of them at PSA now for grading, but it's going to be awhile.  Roll Eyes Maybe one of mine will get a coveted 10 grade.  Tongue

No 10's yet, best of luck hope you get some 10's.
1313  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO] Topps Allen & Ginter Reference Thread on: January 13, 2019, 06:21:21 PM
I'd have to agree, it's not one of my favorites either, but it is still a contender. It's definitely nice enough. I like your idea too MrStacy, you are such a "collector".  Cheesy

It is valuable enough to have protected in a graded slab and put in a safe place for sure.
1314  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Wanted to share ] The first Crypto card ever made 2013, now for sale on: January 13, 2019, 06:17:46 PM
Notice on the crypto card it doesn't say crypto at the top, the crypto card has the letter C and the guy with the glasses.  The back of the card has an ace and the 2013 date on it.

What are your thoughts on the Topps vault Cryptocurrency Blank Back triple card's value? Was bought for $610, way back when. I'm thinking at least double or triple by now..... Huh Actually maybe more, it is a 1/1 card after all..... Undecided

Personally it isn't one of my favorites but, whoever got it at 610 has done quite well for themselves.  I like stand alone cards but, I would value it at 3x what they got it for like you said maybe even a little more like 2k
1316  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO] Topps Allen & Ginter Reference Thread on: January 13, 2019, 01:36:10 PM
Based on this recent sale I am moving up my current opinion of values .  The ginter x red mini I would say is a good deal at 12k to 14k.  The black x mini's at the highest grade of 9 I would say around 1800 .  For the stand alone #83 blank back I would place a current value between 18k to 20k and the printing plates close behind.  Just my opinion but, time will always tell. Smiley  The treasure hunt continues for the silver mini.

Looks like someone picked up a good deal.  Who would have ever thought these cards would be received so well Smiley  Think I am going to put my original crypto card up on the block , if this card is in this price range, I'm thinking 3 BTC or about.  Maybe more, who knows.  Shocked
