1301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You must do this if you want to QUIT or NOT on: July 19, 2023, 02:46:22 AM
I do hope that people will do this because what I've mostly noticed is that they will tend to continue playing because they want to chase up losses, but again, that is really a good move if we are able to do it because you tend to relax and think about the right move. This is like if you are planning to buy something but you should wait like 3 days to know if you still want that stuff. Controlling our emotions is really difficult, but once we are able to do it, then for sure we won't be addicted to something.
Recreational activities would do alot of help when it comes to dealing with gambling. We made mistakes in the past, and those faults may be haunting us today. Humans are predictable; the same is true for addicts; you must constantly be there anywhere there are significant odds or crucial games. There is no principle that can hold an addict; all he needs to do is accept that he is a gambling addict and then figure out good courses to go in order to get help. Not all emotional feelings or motivations. We are aware of our strengths and flaws, but revealing them will only make us appear more vulnerable and easy prey.
1302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What could make you get into a fight with your fellow gambler? on: July 18, 2023, 04:23:37 AM
I heard of a story about two gamblers that got into a serious fight on the grounds that a bet they merged an amount of money equally to place  using the online account of one person among their two. Luckily for them the bet won. But something happened, when it got to the sharing formula of the total amount won the owner of the account  insisted on taking a lion's share since it was his account that was used in placing the bet. The latter refusing to accept it that way they got into a serious fight. How pathetic!

What could make you get into a fight with your fellow gambler? And would you agree at anytime to double cash with your fellow gambler to place a bet using his account, on the notion of increasing the potential win.
Choosing a physical body combat with a friend, fighting has a low likelihood of being triggered. I can put up with a lot of awful things from my colleague, but when it comes to splitting an agreed-upon amount of money. I gamble with pooled finances with my colleagues; once, when the results were enormous, he tried cheating, I fractured his left arm; from then on, he seldom looked me in the eye to cheat; instead, we got closer together and shared a lot of things in common. I'm not joking; I'll go to exceptional lengths to satisfy my needs and desires. Perhaps we make money simply because we want to satisfy what we're lacking.
1303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Easy or hard to quit? on: July 18, 2023, 04:14:00 AM
Quitting gambling can be a difficult decision for active gamblers especially when they have just made a lot of money. It is very difficult to control desire when the urge to play has grown, this is the same as active smokers or alcoholics, they will feel uneasy before their desire is channeled.
Few people are able to control themselves to quit a habit that has become a routine in their life. Some people gamble not only because of the prospect of winning, there are many motivations for the habits they often do, one of which is because they are buying entertainment for themselves after doing boring activities elsewhere.
Every day, we make decisions, and when it comes to gambling, we need to make sure we're on an appropriate course. It diminishes the majority of our decisions; we would establish principles and disciplinary measures, and we would be the ones who would be adamant about them and quickly break them without hesitation. Quitting gambling is never an easy exertion; it usually takes a month or even years for one to truly see and accept the fact that he or she is an addict; if they do not admit the fact on time, they will suffer financial instability and significant financial harm.
1304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This is not Practical on: July 18, 2023, 04:07:22 AM
Why do we have to make an issue out of this? I think it's pretty much clear and self-explanatory. No debate is necessary. By "money that we can afford to lose," we only mean money that is not intended for something else important like rent or bills to pay, tuition for you child, regular checkup for your old sick mother, etc. That's the kind of money that is being referred to.

Me, I'm gambling with my extra savings, exactly something that I can afford to lose. It's not money that, if lost, I'd be missing a meal.
We obligations and goals that need to be reached in all situations. We work inother to take provide for our needs and primarily to take good care of our families. The better we planned to understand that earlier, the better. Gambling with non budgeted money would do the justification, anything outside that is gambling with an entirely different perspective. I make good earning from my profession, and I'm not ready to compromised my status, which is simply using planned finance to gamble, trust me when I say, it would only leads to instability and more pending debts.
1305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 18, 2023, 04:01:52 AM
There is still some small element of upsets here, Mike Tyson during his prime was upset by Buster Douglas, it's not a lucky shot though, it is because Mike Tyson didn't train that hard in the gym but just casually go and not put 100% of his effort and then underestimate Douglas.

So if Fury will have that kind of mentality here, thinking that Francis is just a walk in the park for him because he is not a pure boxer but a MMA and trying to cross over, then it could be the same outcome.
Expecting 100% performance from both fighters; no place for extraneous excuses; they put in the time and effort and are prepared to face the consequences of their actions. I give credit to Tyson Fury; Francis Ngannou is no match for him, and I predicted a straightforward victory. The boxing match would be rough in the ring; I can envision the worst thrashing lead by Tyson Fury; he's one of the few outstanding fighters, and I believe in his strengths. Perhaps if he underestimates his opponent, Francis Ngannou, who is rising through the ranks of boxing.
1306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 18, 2023, 03:38:08 AM
Around us minor boys are involved in various kinds of bad activities. Especially they are more addicted to gambling. We should keep our children away from all these bad addictions. If minor boys get addicted to gambling once, their life will be completely ruined. So he should have family protection so that he can't get into all these bad addictions. But for him if he is 18+ I think gambling is ok because if he is 18+ he will understand the meaning of his life and what is bad and what is good he will understand by himself.
We can't keep hiding our children from these dangerous gambling activities, but the best thing we can do is lecture them on how to resist such behaviors. We have the option of keeping them indoors all day, and if these nefarious children are their classmates, there's no way our kids will not come into contact with them in classes or the school environment. Observing our children keeps bad company will undoubtedly harm his choices and decisions. He's nothing compared to peer pressures; he'd want the best from his teen experiences; I've been in that situation before, and it's not a good path to choose.
1307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 17, 2023, 04:04:14 AM
Tuchel is better than Nagelsmaan and that is their achievement in their career in managing a team where Tuchel has succeeded in the champions league scene when he managed to win the UCL trophy while with Chelsea. However, that will not be a benchmark for us to see Bayern Munich at this time. Because coaches will reap success if coaches and players have good cooperation in every game they play.

Tuchel definitely needs a single sticker for Bayern Munich front line because Bayern Munich, when left by Lewandowksi, have not found the right replacement for their front line. So it will be the job of the Bayern Munich management to bring in a sticker of good quality for Bayern Munich's front line.
Thomas Tuchel can not be comparable  to Julian Nagelsmann of yesterday, Nagelsmann is a newbie in the managerial role and hope he gets a good club just like his previous club. Julian Nagelsmann also one of the outstanding managers that handle the Bavarians, with good winning mentality he impacted on the players, perhaps his sacks didn't warrant investigation about his poor form in bundesliga, he'd done great things for the club. Presently, Bayern Munich needs to handle their frontline his summer, Tuchel craves for a striker that would prowess in front of goals.
1308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: July 17, 2023, 03:58:28 AM
it is really hard triumphant journey mate  but if we will only open our mind and soul we will find reason how to win over .
if we will consider those people who loves us and those people that rely on us? not to count our own future?
those reasons are more than enough to be a winner in your own battle.
We are on a journey to have a good life for ourselves. We know what's right and wrong, it's our decision to either go the right or wrong path. Gambling should never be a source of income, because it's not reliable and can put one under pressure within hours or days. Facing threats to stop gambling, that incidence possibility is just 10% because my family doesn't bother to ask what you're doing except when you're not contributing anything to the family, only then their questions arises, they become more curious on what's hindering you from generating reasonable finances.
1309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is your Gambling Pattern Like? on: July 17, 2023, 03:53:38 AM
While gambling we have to follow certain rules.  We can be in big danger for some small mistakes so we should always gamble thoughtfully.  There are some gamblers who take risks because of the greed of their money. I have learned a lot from them. Never get excited while gambling. If we lose money in gambling, we cannot lose patience to recover it. Sometimes we will win in gambling and sometimes we will lose and we have to gamble.
Loss cannot be prevented, but it can be reduced to a level that is manageable, which will contribute positively to the gambler's achievement within the system. Risks are another factor that has emptied out most gamblers' accounts, despite the fact that the majority of them are only discovering their mistakes and failing to make a comeback. Losing money can be painful for most gamblers at times; in their desire to recoup, they continue to wager on games that produce no firm lucrative results; they are left with no choice but to keep trying until they find a better result that they are satisfied with.
1310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: July 17, 2023, 03:41:44 AM
Big losses will then be the next, for sure, but that kind of emotion is a sign of addiction, which is why it is better to keep away if you start to notice it and ask for some help from your family. I really don't know why we get a mental block when we are in this kind of situation where we lose but still continue playing, thinking that we will win back, but the truth is that it is impossible.
We have losses and profits; the problem is that these outcomes are not predictable, and in certain circumstances, we encounter difficult times and challenges in the system. Revenge is one of the most deeply flawed and destructive mindsets a gambler may possess; seeking vengeance for your losses in a gambling race is a completely inappropriate roadway to pursue. We are humans, and it hurts to see one's hard-earned money drained by the system. Furthermore, when you decide to wager, you already agree to face any conceivable consequences on your games, be they tremendous losses or enormous profits.
1311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Easy or hard to quit? on: July 17, 2023, 03:31:56 AM
I kinda agree with you mate, but then, also do not forget the fact that gambling addiction comes in different levels, and depending on the level of the addiction, that will tell what such person can do and not do.
For example, some one who is just mildly addicted to gambling, a self discipline, and focusing on other things that is outside gambling can help heal such individual, that if such individual can continue doing that for a specific period of time, he or she can easily come out from his gambling addiction.

But for someone  who the addiction has eaten deep into his or her system, it's a different thing altogether, such people are the ones who need the help of a specialist.
Meeting someone to come to your aides, it's a good move to make things easier for us, we don't push pressures rather we absorb them and convert them into something favorable for our demands. For us to stop gambling, we must make significant choices, which will be uncomfortable in the beginning but will get less challenging with time; this is the starting point of the gambling system. We will never be capable to discontinue gambling except we take disciplinary measures, and it weakens us every day. Gambling is dangerous; perhaps it is up to us to decide whether to keep going or discontinue. However, I would choose the decision that would benefit me in the system.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you find it offensive to be referred to as an addicted gambler? on: July 16, 2023, 08:11:37 PM
The more you ignore them the more you would become vulnerable to their hate. It is better to find their weakness and then downgrade them infront of everyone. In today's time everyone has some kind of addiction. You can use that as a weapon to defend yourself rather ignoring them. No one is a saint in these times.
.You are correct; we should always target their flaws and exploit them. We are humans, and our actions are frequently both beneficial and detrimental. Obviously, we are not saints who always do the right thing; rather, we should address what causes our faults and find a method to correct them right away. People around us will always look for our problems, so we must either react or ignore them. In my opinion, I would just choose to ignore them since I don't have time for problems, and I have more useful things to accomplish with my precious time.
1313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stop gambling (sports betting, casino e.t.c)? on: July 16, 2023, 07:00:30 PM
Playing video games is not always effective in overcoming gambling addiction depending on individual personality, some adventurous or war video games might help fill the time to avoid gambling activities without buying any items from the game.

For me the main solution to disappearing gambling is that he has committed not to gamble anymore and avoids the gambling environment or keeps his distance from his gambling friends, he has to find a new environment to forget his past and has to have more activities outside to hang out with friends. He must change his mindset to appreciate the income from hard work not to be wasted on gambling, but apply his financial management to family needs and financial needs for your future.
Mindset is the engine room for making crucial decisions, which inturns it can be a negative or positive one on our lives. Another thing is stay or avoid friends that gamble, because they will definitely influenced the mind with these activities. Gambling is not an option to break out free from finance challenges, instead we ought to look for a more legit reliable source to generate income. Perhaps there are several ways this path can be done, all we have to do is to make sure we understand what we are doing, and most importantly what favours us.
1314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 16, 2023, 05:23:27 PM
You are possibly right, but I think that Messi could also give the MLS a boost and Busquet is one example for a player that followed suit and now plays for Inter Miami. So far it is the money that sets the Saudi Professional League apart from other contenders to become one of the most popular leagues in the world. That money seems to be endless for now and they would indeed win the race against the MLS in the mid-term if they keep pumping those funds into the players and the league. But the difference in the culture between the United States and Saudi Arabia will always be a costly aspect for the Saudi clubs as players demand more money to go there. I think the next few years will be exciting and I am curious whether they keep up their efforts to attract more top players to both the SPL and the MLS.
There's proficient finance to circulate round MLS and Saudi Arabia. However with the look of things, Saudi keeps the lead this summer as one of the league that spend gigantic figures and also a favorite league for players who are keen on earning huge sums from football. Leo Messi presence in Inter Miami will boost the team's performance, despite their poor form last season, the still possess strong connection to win their league title. MLS is gradually becoming more popular than last season, everyone talking about the league became an undisputed GOAT presence is felt.
1315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you feels like only draw is your win on Blackjack on: July 16, 2023, 01:02:46 PM
Pure luck! It's not your day.
It's just a good thing you stopped which will help you to calm down and not play with your emotion, never chase loss with your emotion is not stable.
Changing the table is a good act to reset some luck like this but then again, you already said it, and it's still not working. So try again on another day would be better.

The system is all about risks, we take risks inother to win or loss. That's the simple fact about the system, always ready to face the worst results. Observing the game, he's really unlucky. Facts, if he is unsuccessful today, he can try again tomorrow; nothing is guaranteed about what the gambling system has in store for us. I agree with your suggestion; the OP should slow down since his emotions could grow unsteady, complicating the whole system, and games based on revenge do not have a positive outcome. If he is fresh to the system, it will have a significant impact on him.
1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Appropriate percentage of income for gambling on: July 16, 2023, 12:51:24 PM
I hadn't considered this recently, but I believe that allocating less than 10% of your income for gambling is the best approach. Of course, this may vary for different individuals.

It's essential to allocate your income properly for basic needs, emergency funds, and other necessities before considering spending on gambling. Always prioritize responsible financial planning over entertainment expenses, including gambling.
As long as we are in the space, we ought to sort out way to survive. Gambling is the last thing on my mind because I have other important resources that I prioritize. I took care of my family because I am the breadwinner, then I focused on extracurricular activities that provide some extra money for my pocket, which I then divided between my recreational interests, gambling being one of them. Straight 10% goes to that area without hesitation, and while I occasionally record losses that are manageable, I frequently generate profits that come with substantial benefits.
1317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 15, 2023, 06:31:27 PM
Pavard is a good player and I think it is a great target to replace Walker. Personally, I would still place Walker way ahead of Pavard because Walker is great at catching wingers with his speed. I would say Pavard as a "best alternative" since Walker move to Bayern was unanticipated. Recently, I have seen that Guardiola don't try to stop the player and he respects whatever decision they make so Walker move should be a done deal as it is matter of fee now between the clubs. Due to this, City might find easy going for Pavard deal as well.

I am not going to say if Pavard would be the best defender but he is joining a very good and consistent team so naturally he will do great at City.
Manchester city remained the top elite club in the English premier league presently with additional outstanding performance. Pep Guardiola has solid thoughts for his club; he's not in immediate need to sign players like other coaches, but once he does, there's a fair chance that the player is one of the best and fits into the position he's been assigned at Etihad Stadium. Pep Guardiola is widely recognized for changing players' roles at the club. Benjamin Pavard has been suggested as a substitute for Kyle Walker by Manchester City. The French defender will achieve amazing things for the team since he is consistent and covers well for the Englishman.
1318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Signs that indicate you are not addicted to gambling on: July 15, 2023, 03:08:00 PM
That means as long as we can stay on the right track, namely, not wanting to gamble excessively, we can take good care of ourselves. And even though we still gamble a few days later, we don't have to worry about gambling addiction. Only those who always think about gambling and want to come back daily may already have a gambling addiction. And if a person can still do things outside of gambling well and doesn't think about gambling, he is not yet categorized as a person with a severe gambling addiction because he can still control himself. But if what happens is that the person always thinks about gambling and always wants to come back, then they may have a severe gambling addiction.
Addiction is a dangerous harm that can happen to anyone. Within the good range of the mind, gambling can be controlled. There are various characteristics that demonstrate one to be a gambling addict. As an illustration, if you detect any desperation or persuasion to bet, it signifies you're on the edge of becoming or have already been classed as a gambling addict. Accepting that you're an addict doesn't seem easy; most of us try to deny it to the best of our abilities, but it's reality, and it will always come after us. I believe that new addicts should seek help and open out to someone who can aid them.
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: July 15, 2023, 02:56:43 PM
it is difficult if someone is too comfortable in gambling which will end up being addicted it is difficult to stop and when they have the desire to stop and do more positive activities only their family can help. if we talk about addiction it will never end but how else sometimes many new people try gambling after that they are lucky to get big wins and from that someone will become addicted because they feel they are getting something big without realizing they will lose continuously when trying to bet and lose after that chasing losses.
Gamblers are desperate and willing to take any risk for the purpose to place wagers in the system. Loss is impossible to avoid; quantifying losses merely contributes to the instability of our emotions, regrets, and feelings of remorse for what we have done. Addiction is the most devastating incident that can happen to a gambler; it is one of the extreme levels that will undoubtedly result in losses and account liquidation. Gambling is simple to begin but extremely difficult to stop; I've come across numerous gamblers who tried everything they could to stop but couldn't, instead preferring to indulge in gambling further.
1320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: July 15, 2023, 11:10:39 AM
I can agree when you talk about it is possible a surprise to occur in this incoming election. Actually, Barack Obama was a surprise candidate who ended up winning and beating Hillary out her chances to become the first Woman in charge of the USA. Or I think it was another man... I dont recall.
If the health of Biden continues to deteriorate and Trump ends up in prison, then there will be more chances of a younger and less extreme person to take over the polls.

Though, Trump still could run from Prison, as far as I know.
The United States of America is a world power, yet it appears that they are not handling events as they should be, with Russia raiding Ukraine and other crises. I believe Joe Biden's administration is simply being cautious not to release troops that could lead to World War IV. Donald Trump, the previous president and the 45th president of the United States, plans to run for president a second time, and the famous business tycoon is likely to garner strong support from American states. As far as I'm concerned, he's a powerful cruel leader; he's determined to reclaim power; but, he has flaws, as all leaders have. Joe Biden appears weak and incompetent for the president; he does not enforce laws into actions.
