Wow,i expected this transfer weeks ago and i was thinking it aint gonna happen but now this just looks insane. What a transfer for Arsenal and this will really impact their upcoming season. Arsenal never paid anything so big and this is what makes this transfer big. They needed a good midfielder after Xhaka left and they got a world class one.

Well just because a transfer is big like big in the sense of very expensive does not automatically mean that it is a great transfer. I think that the 122 M€ + additional possible bonus payments are at least 30 Million € to much for Declan Rice. He only had one year of contract left at Westham United so that is a really hefty price tag for him.
So i would say, that it definitely was a great transfer for Westham United to get this much money for a player, that would have probably not prolonged his current contract anyway and that would have left the club almost certainly without any transfer fee after the next season. Time will tell if he is really worth that 122 M€+ that they have paid for him.

It's not just Manchester City who want Benjamin Pavard, even Manchester United and Juventus are interested in bringing Pavar to their team. But, it seems that Manchester City is one step ahead of them. According to Fabrizio Romano, Pavard has entered negotiations privately with Man City.

Arsenal also just signed Jurrien Timber from Ajax in a €40m deal. He is the second player to have joined Arteta's side in this transfer. The player Dyclan Rice is also been scouted still and hopefully he would not Manchester city but Arsenal.

Osimhen to PSG just to convince Mbappe to sign a contract extension, is a coy move. Should Osimhen leave where he is celebrated to a french side, just to act as side kick or second option, it will affect his brilliance and might easily ensure his career plummets.

Pavard was able playing in multiple role. I see no problem for him to be a replacement for kyle walker. Walker is also 33 years old while pavard is still 27 years old. Pavard is still having a long way to go to win so many trophies with manchester city.

I am hearing that it is going to be a £100 million transfer with a chance of £5 million add ons. But it is certain that he is definitely going to Arsenal. And definitely a good signing. This was certainly a very expensive transfer. Arsenal will have to make sure that they can get the most out of him. Arsenal cannot end the next season without any achievements. They will have to perform better, especially towards the end of the season. I also agree that Mikel Arteta has more money in his hands now. So it will be a good decision to increase the depth of the squad.

It is true that there has been a lot of news and information about Mbappe everywhere, maybe it will decrease and not be discussed again after officially moving from PSG. reportedly the PSG management have given up hope of convincing Mbappe to stay at the club, and so far there has not been any statement from their new coach Luis Enrique.

On the other hand, Luis Enrique is not an arbitrary coach and he certainly has a firm attitude towards players who want to leave, Messi and Neymar are openly said to be allowed to leave PSG if they don't want to extend their contracts. I think Mbappe's current attitude will backfire on his career going forward, the simple reason is that he is the type of player difficult for coaches to manage. Hopefully wherever this striker joins he can meet the expectations of his new club according to the price.

I totally agree with you regarding Kylian Mbappe, this is already confusing enough that there isn't even any certainty about it. Between PSG and Kylian Mbappe there cannot be one goal. And if you see the reaction of Real Madrid, especially Florentino Perez, they are no longer too ambitious, apart from the high price offered by PSG, Madrid has decided not to make any more purchases. This does make sense because Madrid need to wait until next season for Mbappe to be free.

Pavard is a good player and I think it is a great target to replace Walker. Personally, I would still place Walker way ahead of Pavard because Walker is great at catching wingers with his speed. I would say Pavard as a "best alternative" since Walker move to Bayern was unanticipated. Recently, I have seen that Guardiola don't try to stop the player and he respects whatever decision they make so Walker move should be a done deal as it is matter of fee now between the clubs. Due to this, City might find easy going for Pavard deal as well.

I am not going to say if Pavard would be the best defender but he is joining a very good and consistent team so naturally he will do great at City.

I totally agree with you regarding Kylian Mbappe, this is already confusing enough that there isn't even any certainty about it. Between PSG and Kylian Mbappe there cannot be one goal. Some say that Mbappe will make a statement in the near future but the news has spread widely, maybe because PSG cannot extend the contract so there are other rumors that Mbappe wants to leave, but this is all always associated with Real Madrid but for me this makes sense because previously Real Madrid had made an offer only to be rejected, when the extension is rejected by Mbappe then this will be associated again with Los Blancos even though there are several other clubs that are associated such as Liverpool from the English league.

Mbappe's news will not end all the two parties have not yet made an official statement, but that's all still not done, we just need to wait until Mbappe's decision will be taken, whether to stay or want to leave.
