actually interest is growing, the hash rate seems low but that is due to the rise in nfactor, if it wer a normal scrypt coin i think the rate would be x5 what it is right now.

Zeal is nice, but that take over is full of holes, i choose not to speak out since i consider myself a bit mature. Either way, that was a community coin so the community can do with it as they wish. If you wish to know more open up a thread about it or Pm me and i'll give you the juicy and gory details of it all, don't mistake a brawler and a tactician, they'll both lose if they fight head on.
Any way here let's talk about the topic at hand. Since it's entertainment for the people and profit for the business, i would think a Cpu coin would be best, let miners mine with GPU for profit and CPU for fun. I think that is a good idea.

The reason i cannot attempt an exsiting coin is that there are individual who already hold obscene amounts of it, if it was fairly new perhaps, but now is a bit late.

Not quite getting the "don't want to use an existing coin because they exist line". Sounds more like you want to be an early adopter so you can make some dollars. Nothing wrong with that, just a very narrow niche you've chosen... for example , how many sexcoins are out there already? would it not then be loss making for me to accept them as the currency of choice, funnier still, i do not own a single sex coin.I understand the need to support some existing currencies, but have you ever heard of a country called Zimbabwe? They printed so much money that it became worthless, same applies here, if the money supply is already too large then using it for business would be a loss making idea. Just basic economics. |

Additionally if folks don't like a coin they don't have to trade it...We add coins to provide a safe platform so as it was announced in chat and later on the forums doesn't make it an unfair release heck I mined pennies from the start I managed to get a whopping 10 cents. There are $6588.60 worth of pennies out there so 0.065886% mined so far? ANNs are a norm. not a necessity, it is announced here because it is a popular forum. i think it's actuall better that coins are being launched from their own sites, makes for a cleaner launch and cleans up this forum too. |

Pennies, great mining experience full of laughs and tears. The first few hours were hilarious, you'd have +250 transactions with an empty wallet!! I got to a record of 800+
many have commented on the way it was released but i think it's ok. Look at the clutter in this subsection, all 100+ altcoins share it, so i guess it's only natural that people choose different methods of publicizing.
I would however like to put it out there that perhaps we need another pool.
I'll put up a starter of TEN pennies as a donation to whoever sets up the 2nd pool and has it work 24hrs.
if you guys are interested in helping to secure the coin, please put some up....hehehe every CENT counts.
