well as long as it works i'am solo mining it with gpu ( 7970 ) i did however spent a lot of time to find the right settings so for any one else i used these settings they gave me about 900 Kh/s for pennies and 1.54 Mh/s for copper.

Pennies

ybcminer.exe --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1375418800 -o 127.0.0.1:8110 -u coin -p x --thread-concurrency 8192 --worksize 256 -g 2 -I 17 --lookup-gap 2 --shaders 2048 -s 1 --expiry 1 --queue 0

Copper

ybcminer.exe --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1376184687 -o 127.0.0.1:8128 -u coin -p x --thread-concurrency 8192 --worksize 256 -g 2 -I 17 --lookup-gap 2 --shaders 2048 -s 1 --expiry 1 --queue 0

I have requested that all exchanges considering Pennies stop and do not list them.

Shake, the majority of people like your coin, enjoy mining it, enjoy the UI and ideas behind it, and think the launch was perfectly fine. Don't let one idiot's random aspergers holier-than-thou opinion sway you and ruin everyone's fun.

Coins being listed and traded is part of the 'fun' of crypto. I think pennies are a good fit for altcoin trading platforms because they are fun, easy to understand, have a good dev behind them and was a fair enough launch. I don't have a huge vested interest...I have a whole 16 of them...But many people are excited about pennies and would enjoy trading them.

Plus, I mean c'mon, they are pennies Cheesy If anyone is trying to get rich offa pennies they gotta rethink their investment strategy!

You're right, its a free-market thing, always has been. I just get frustrated with the notion that somehow I am looking for the big-cash-out with one of my coins and that I went "around" the normal "release" process to get that.

Pennies from the get-go were about something "sorta" different, not to make me (or anyone) rich. Would I like to get a few bits for my pennies, sure--do I NEED to get a few bits? Not at all.

"blocks" : 65388,
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 0.21917547,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : true,
"genproclimit" : -1,

"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false,
"Nfactor" : 9,

it happened pretty quick, maybe it's the hash spike? now diff is taking ages to adjust to the lower hash. GPU down to barely 200kh/s.

Now we need an exchange and a market place. seems the price is hovering around 0.005.

Pennies, great mining experience full of laughs and tears. The first few hours were hilarious, you'd have +250 transactions with an empty wallet!! I got to a record of 800+
many have commented on the way it was released but i think it's ok. Look at the clutter in this subsection, all 100+ altcoins share it, so i guess it's only natural that people choose different methods of publicizing.

I would however like to put it out there that perhaps we need another pool.

I'll put up a starter of TEN pennies as a donation to whoever sets up the 2nd pool and has it work 24hrs.
if you guys are interested in helping to secure the coin, please put some up....hehehe every CENT counts.

Anyone want to exchange 100 physical pennies for 100 virtual pennies?
I checked all of them over, and about 50% of them are shiny/uncirculated, and the rest are a little dull.
I'll cover shipping fees! (inside the US)

Any word from any exchanges on when they'll have Pennies?

Cryptsy has said "soon" and then "very soon" in the last 48 hours. Its #1 on their list. Phenixex has also stated it is on their list for implementation. Cheesy

I think that "very soon" was ment for some sha256 coin, but not pennies.

Anyway I hope to see pennies during this week.

Whenever it does make the exchanges, I think the coin has a future.  For those that have mined it, they've kept part if not all of their hashing on it.  I love the concept behind it.
