1301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Choose altcoin for trading on: September 04, 2017, 11:47:08 PM
because the altcoin is very a lot of choices, a lot of coins altcoin that have sprung up with varying prices. altcoin have a future very good and also movement rate.
Altcoin is good if you are a real gambler, with the cheap price you can stock a lot with different altcoins and we might make profit instantly when the price will pump. There are a lot of new coins that started cheap and just a short period of time the price pump so hard because investors sees great news and devs are working hard to follow its road map successfully.
Really altcoin if used by a skilled person will generate huge profits,
let's say with just trading in bittrex if the expert would surely know the moment to buy or sell it. and will give results.
To be honest, do not have trader on market can sure 100% they always winner on market, even sometimes whales still need take loss if their scenario cannot make trader on market going as their predict. Cool
Correct there is not a way to win all the time in the market, I always think of the market as a game, is there a single person that wins every single game they play? Yes but there are very few, most other players lose some games and the same logic needs to be applied to trading since it is impossible for most people to win every single trade and we need to accept that fact.
1302  Economy / Speculation / Re: I will not Die Untill Bitcoin will reach at Least 50K on: September 04, 2017, 11:43:51 PM
I am sure they can never be $50k per 1 bitcoin. It is unbelievable.

Definitely improbable in the short-term, but I see absolutely no reason why they absolutely could not be. We'd need prices like that to support larger volumes of commerce.
You are right. In bitcoin cryptocurrency which is widely known and popular worldwide, I bet there is no reason that bitcoin cannot reach $50k. Because if we will observe, bitcoin's price hike is very fast to be established because of the continuous improvement and innovation added by the fact that whenever bitcoin's price rises, there are lots of people getting attracted to it adding to the massive number of consumers getting into large count of demands pushing bitcoin to rise its price. Though it is not that fast to happen, it is possible. Maybe not now, tomorrow but on the future it will surely reach that amount or even more.
Bitcoin can reach that price but there are two problems, the first is how long that is going to take and we do not have an answer to that and second is are you going to keep holding all that time or you are going to sell? Because not many people have the patience to hold for so long.
1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin and ICOs on: September 04, 2017, 11:40:47 PM
Ripple or IOTA's market cap is too high, to make x2 they need a lot of money, if you have few money, you should look at page 2-3 on coinmarketcap.

That would be a valid statement if there would be any economic model which could help us to assess the fundamental value of altcoin. What the problem is with altcoins at page 2 - 3 on coinmarketcap is low liquidity so It can get pretty nasty if you want to get out. Low liquidity and guessing work about which one will make 50% tomorrow it same like a lotto you hope for big win. Some lo level coins will win extremely big  but how to find out those 80 out 800 altcoins. On another side up until the dumb money flows in crypto the top 50 market coins will grow no matter of underlying earning potential. Nobody relay knows what is earning potential of any crypto project i.e. ICO.
Investing in those coins is nothing but gambling, there are coins that can give you profits of 400% in one day and then the next day the coins crashes 90% of its value and it never improves that is why it is better to invest in coins that are solid and with a bigger market cap.

1305  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: September 02, 2017, 10:48:18 PM
I believe they have advantage from each other, the one being highly volatile and the other one being highly regulated.  I think in terms of profit, there is more profit in cryptocurrency since they are govern by market speculation.  But in terms of security against fraud and scams, I think regular currency is better.
Bitcoins does not have a safety net in the form of buyers protection but that is the price we need to pay for a currency that does not allow anyone to take your money away from you without your permission, so that is a drawback for bitcoin that is not possible to improve upon.
1306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin just an asset ? on: September 02, 2017, 10:44:28 PM
I have read in the news that that like bitcoin as virtual currencies are assets and does not have the characteristics or what it takes to be a currency that could meet our modern economic needs. It was said that it does not have the fundamental attributes. What are your thoughts about it?

Bitcoin is what we make of it. But we can't make Bitcoin do things it can't. It can be used as currency for buying some things online, for some online gambling, and remittance. It is an asset, an investment. But we have to admit that right now it cannot meet our macro economic needs. It cannot substitute a country's economic budget from billions of dollars to bitcoin. It cannot finance countries that needs to lend money like IMF does. It cannot even meet our micro, personal economic needs. Bitcoin is still not at the stage to be used in grocery shopping or commuting. But it doesn't mean that Bitcoin doesn't have the characteristics of becoming a currency that can meet our every needs. Just give it time.
This is the same argument used against gold and yet gold was able to take care of all of the economies of the world for thousands of years, there is enough bitcoin to manage the whole economy of the world the real issue of bitcoin is that it cannot manage that amount of transactions and that is why we got segwit as a scaling solution.
1307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When ETC will rise on: September 01, 2017, 07:58:52 PM
The problem with ETC is that nothing happens on it. And when ETH goes to POS, maybe it will gain some hashing power but its price will probably tank as people are just going to dump it. If they have no projects running on their network like ETH does, it'll be useless and people won't have any incentive buying/hodling it.

I think it'll rise back in the 15-16$ mark or so in the next few days with the current uptrend but that's about it. I mined some a month ago, still holding, but will probably dump them soon.
I think you should save ETC as much as possible because in the past 2 months investors and whales have consistently pressed altcoin prices but I am sure in the next few months the ETC will have very high prices
Personally I think there are a lot of better coins out there to hold other than ETC, ETC is the bitcoin cash of ethereum so to me is you are going to hold one of those coins then you are better of holding ETH instead of ETC, since your profits are going to be higher holding ETH.
1308  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: September 01, 2017, 07:56:46 PM
To get the profit in the trade you need a lot of time for a good analysis, if you just guess and do not control your emotions then this will just be a game that will bring a lot of losses.
Trading by just just guessing is just a way of gambling and the truth is that many people do not read a single book when they begin trading since they think that earning money in trading is easy when in fact it is very difficult and only a selected few make profits.
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think LTC go up soon? on: September 01, 2017, 07:54:54 PM
I think LTC could be the one to surprise a lot of people, the fact that its less volatile lends itself to actually being used as a decent currency.

If bitcoin keeps rising in terms of price and demand, the litecoin would simply follow bitcoin. We know Assians tend to invest Money in litecoin and they have big mining facilities for litecoin. This could bring up new price inflations for litecoin of course. And they like to manipulate the price.

Yeah that is right, but if bitcoin rises for about $150 - $200 , litecoin only rises less than $1.. I have been looking at the market all these days and that is what i found out. And its price can drop easily, i think litecoin is a good investment but its price is a little bit hyped.. Once it touches $50 again or maybe $48 i think buying it could be considerer, since its price its freezed i dont think it will pump soon

But I think this is natural what I mean, is bitcoin is right now at an all time high so it is natural that the eyes of everyone are on bitcoin, this is why you do not see a lot of movement on litecoin but as soon as that ends then litecoin will begin to move a little bit more.
1310  Economy / Speculation / Re: So where exactly are we in the bubble? on: September 01, 2017, 07:53:02 PM
I know y'all have seen this diagram before, and with BTC just crossing $3,800 as I type, where do you think we are in the bubble?

Aw man so cuz I'm a noob it won't post the image... Oh well. Its basically that "main stages of a bubble" chart. Which crypto most definitely is in. But are we just beginning the true ascent, or have we reached the peak? Thoughts?

Personally i have a feeling that we are in the bull trap area right now.

Either way, we are somewhere in the mania stages, or close to it. I don't think that there is any way that this isn't considered to be a mania when the price has risen by 1000%. There is simply no reason for the rise, or at least to fully justify such a big spike. WITH Bitcoin Cash going up, as well.

Wouldn't be surprised at all when at the end of the year people start panicking and overselling. This is when cheap coins is to be bought. Don't become too greedy and keep buying even though it is clear the bubble may collapse at any time.
There is not an explanation for the rise in price but I think the simplest explanation that we can speculate is that people have decided to put even more money on bitcoin, thinking that in the future this investment is going to become even more valuable than it is now.
1311  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins? on: September 01, 2017, 07:50:27 PM
In my opinion there is 2 safe methods to invest your bitcoins : either you hold them into your wallet for long term, so you make profit when the price increase, or investing in altcoins and ICOs, but you need to study this second choice because it is a bit risky.
I wouldn't call that 2 safe methods, rather one safe method. Investing in bitcoin(looking at charts) will give you profit in long term, just wait for more people to start using it. Investing in altcoins or ico's is on the other hand risky method, you have to pick right coin(or token) with great and active dev's team, choosing the right one is a bit hard.
Correct the only safe method is to buy bitcoin and hold for the long term everything else, from trading bitcoin to investing in alts or to invest in icos have a greater risk and with it the chance of losing money  are way higher, this is why more than anything I’m a holder of bitcoin and nothing more.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CANADA to regulate ICO. RUSSIA is next? on: August 31, 2017, 06:11:47 PM
There is another big step towards market regulation. Canada following US and Singapore claims that any coin during ICO/ITO to be security. Staff Notice 46-307 issued by Canadian Securities Administrators  reveals that many of the digital tokens investigated by regulators in Canada fall under the definition of a security, thereby triggering a range of legal requirements.

This means that Canada closed their boarders to almost all ICO campaigns. Will it affect behavior of Canadian cryptoenthusiasts? (Opinion of Canadian and US residents are highly appreciated).

What country is next to regulate ICO?
They are just trying to get money out of people, if you participate in an ico you need to pay your taxes, they are now realizing that there is another way to get additional money and they are trying to tap the market with their existing regulations that is all.
1313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: August 31, 2017, 06:04:19 PM
the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin is that we still have to pay a fee with small transaction and that fee is extremely big when compare to that small transaction. As you can see, if we want to transfer $1 worth of bitcoin to someone, we need to pay an extra $0.5 in order for our transaction to be proceeded
That is not really a disadvantage but the way the network works, have you tried to send a dollar using a bank wire? I do not even know if it is possible to send such a low sum of money, but in bitcoin you can do it if you want even if you consider the fee to be high.

I will never come up to an understanding as to how people think that bitcoin fees are "high". Have you guys tried to transact a large sum of money? You see how little that fee is as opposed to how much the fee is when you send money in Paypal. Unless you are a person that likes to send a dollar at a time, which is insane by the way, then I see no reason why would you have problems with the transaction fee.
I do not think that, in fact that is my point, people complain about the fee and I do not even know if you can send a dollar with western union, I think they will probably laugh at me if I tried that and the fee is probably going to be many times higher than what I sent.
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin is falling. Who knows why? on: August 31, 2017, 06:02:09 PM
some are doing fine: like PTOY, Vertcoin, Waves, Lisk, UBQ
But well, it's not really a loss until you sell them, so hold and they will rise again Wink
even wave is down and having a hard time to go back to where it was
Many coins are having trouble at the moment since there is not enough money since bitcoin has taken most of the market cap to itself once again, there needs to be a new influx of money and that will take some time to materialize since in this year alone many coins went up to 10 times.
1315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: August 29, 2017, 04:37:53 AM
Bitcoin is computerized.noone can take it from you.and the price of bitcoin is so high. The other hand, gold is physical. it can not be used for any perpose of any time.people can take it from you.so,i think bitcoin is better than gold.
Bitcoin is better than gold from the thief but bitcoin is not safe for the hacker if they hack the system you money will be taken by them that is the worst thing in online.
Also bitcoin is much higher risk investment than gold that is why for me bitcoin needs to proved more before it dominates the gold.
Bitcoin is a lot easier to secure than gold, you need to hide your gold very well in your home and never forget it or you need to hire expensive services to store your gold, to store bitcoin you only need a piece of paper in the form of a paper wallet and you are good to go.
1316  Economy / Speculation / Re: I will not Die Untill Bitcoin will reach at Least 50K on: August 29, 2017, 04:35:46 AM
I had considered those value just a dream some months ago , nowadays im dreaming with it already because now i do know its very possible to reach and cross those value on the next years. The legalization can make bitcoin price to fly without any warning, soo become mainstream being used for anything would make it rare and very pratice to use online and on a daily basic needs.
This rate will continue and that dream will happen soon, we are going to touch down to $5,000 soon and that is another success for bitcoin holders.
Good news will continue and the massive adoption will be achieve as bitcoin continues to be more popular, we are going to beat Paypal soon in terms of marketcap.
This is going to be another reason to celebrate, the day bitcoin overcomes paypal, if we keep growing I think we are going to get to the point when we are going to remember the old days when bitcoin was smaller than paypal and for the new people entering in bitcoin that would seem an almost impossible thing to understand thanks to the huge market cap that bitcoin is going to have in the future.

We already went above paypal in the past weeks. Now after the correction we are still very close:
PayPal Holdings Market Cap:72.26B for Aug. 24, 2017
Bitcoin marketcap $71,3B

I woudn't be suprised if we went above paypal next year. I'm still amazed  that we witness on how bitcoin overtakes paypal that is there for 15 years while bitcoin that  just existed for almost 8 years. This is really a good omen.

Bitcoin is very close despite the fact that not many people are buying and selling with bitcoin the market cap comes mostly from trading, can you imagine what is going to happen when bitcoin thanks to segwit and the lightning network become the most widely used currency on the internet? Bitcoin is going to destroy Paypal.
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Choose altcoin for trading on: August 28, 2017, 06:31:07 AM
The amount of altcoin is overwhelming,
So I am confused to choose a good altcoin for trading, Can you please mention any coin whose price is stable, So I can include it in my trading list,
I once had a bitter experience, I bought altcoin, but in the end it did not sell And lost from the market,  For example digieuro

You should update frequently about newly introduced coins into the market for example BQX. Usually the coin has a pretty good exchange rate. Provided that there should be able to see the exchange rate that has a good quality. If for trading altcoin better short term. Substitute ETH, BCC, LTC, Etc.
The problem is that the op wants to trade a stable coin and that is almost impossible, even one of the most stable coins like bitcoin can have wild price swings in the matter of weeks, so the op will have to get used to these movements in the market, since those movements are going to be present for a long time.
1318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin and ICOs on: August 28, 2017, 06:27:53 AM
Does anyone has some update/recommendation(s) on Asian crypto projects I personally would like to get grater exposer towards   Asian markets. My issue is I learn about the projects too late to buy, or exchanges trading the particular currencies are local and not easily accessible (example: language barrier or registration)
I’m not aware of any website that particularly only watches Asian projects, do you have a reason to do this? Anyway there are websites that keep track of every ICO, the ones already running and the ones that are coming, find those websites and then read about the project and if you like it you can invest in it.
1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have $10 to invest? on: August 28, 2017, 06:18:04 AM
My question is if you have $10 which altcoin will you prefer to invest and why?

I think i can invest only $10 per month and i never invested in altcoins so far.
Don't invest whole 10$ in just one altcoin, invest it in more.
Spread your investment and pick 10 altcoins and invest 1$ in each one. Or maybe invest 50 cents in 20 altcoins.
By the way, I would rather buy pizza for 10$.
I think this is a bad idea, 10 dollars is not much to begin with, he is probably going to lose most of that money in transaction fees, I think it is a way better idea to invest in an ICO and hope for the best if everything goes wrong then you lose that money but if things go right you multiply your money and now have a more decent bankroll to begin trading or investing.
1320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin just an asset ? on: August 27, 2017, 03:38:18 AM
You shouldn't take any advice from the media, they mix up most of the truth to something which isn't real at all. About bitcoin as an asset yes it is also a asset but it doesn't end there with bitcoin you can gamble , transafer this asset to someone anonymously, trading with stocks knows as alts and many more. Ignore the media always google there are various trusted sites out there.
Taking advice from the media is terrible, just take a few minutes and watch the commercials, you will find commercials about beer that is bad for your health, commercials about restaurants with overpriced food, and all kind of things that are bad for you and your finances.
