1321  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-24]Russia to Release a Draft Law Allowing Entities to Use Crypto for an on: January 25, 2019, 10:58:28 PM
I stopped reading all the "conclusive" news about cryptocurrency status in Russia a year ago
it is same as India  crypto legislation wise - been dragging for over two years with neither green light nor ban
Russia was toying with a state cryptoruble creation at some point, but now they have some other ideas
one of them is to use cryptocurrencies to dodge sanctions, but this is too complicated and requires alot of work to get the law  drafted
I won't expect anything concrete this year
1322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to be a profitable gambler? on: January 25, 2019, 08:02:08 PM

free trial is good to start because people will convince once they tested it.  Gambler is always have risk because they play their money and jhave chance to get lost. You can start free trial like maybe few weeks for the people to convince people to avail your service and for dure they pay once the service and it really works for them.

I am agree with your arguments regarding the luck factor that can be decreased with proven strategies in gambling. If it is available i am interested with free trial during first week before buying monthly membership. I know this is not what you are  looking for but let me know details in case you agree with offer. Good luck!

This does sound like a reasonable thought, however it will come with complications. When running this service, I know some people are likely to screw something up. For example, some people might only place bets on a few of the tips, and then when they are losing money they will say "you're service is shit because I am losing money" but in reality they didn't follow the recommend instructions.

Another problem with a 1 week trial, is that I am not aiming to make killer results in a week. So I will get bad feedback if in the first week you lose 1% or something.

So by giving away free services, I am only really running into complications. Its $100 for the first 10 people, which is reasonable enough for sports gamblers. So I would rather have some testimony from people who actually run my full service, and have done so for a month.

So if either of you are interested, feel free to PM me your preferred payment method and we can get started.

where is your bet history and a proven record?
don't you think that charging 100$ is a bit too much without that?
while I totally understand you are not willing to give free trial, you will have to accept the fact that none will be buying blindly
but once you get a review by some of the forums trusted members you could get some sales in
so it is up to you, do not think that being greedy is the right thing in this case
1323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The market is recovering or just adjusting to the price . news on: January 25, 2019, 07:29:36 PM
you think that one week's worth of data can show you the trend?
the answer is- if anyone knew , he would be rich af Smiley
the problem with bitcoin market that it is very unpredictable, very volatile and it is not changing in the near future
also if by recovery you mean getting back to the autumn's 6000$ range ,then it is definitely no
we are going to be in the 3000- 4000$ range for the near future
with more chances to get lower than 3000 rather than getting to 5000$
1324  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-25] Venezuela’s New Interim President is Anti-Petro and Pro-Bitcoin on: January 25, 2019, 07:04:13 PM
This guy is going nowhere other than out the back of a plane in flight.

The Venezuelan army leadership have backed Maduro, though gawd knows why. That's the only opinion that truly matters. Unless the army changes its mind or splinters things will stay as they are.

And the most surefire way imaginable to unite the country behind Maduro is for the US to make an aggressive attempt to get rid of him.

exactly my thoughts
I think the US have overthrown enough legitimate goverments to attempt this with Venezuela military style
but since both China and Russia expressed their support for Maduro
and with the defence minister being Maduro's close friend and ally, this puppet "interim president"
is nothing more than a puppet he is, but it is sad to see yet another country to slide into a possible civil war
1325  Other / Off-topic / Re: A KYC database sold on the Darkweb ? on: January 25, 2019, 06:05:47 PM
this is one of the resons I'm, against any form of KYC
scary , but quite predictable
it was to happen sooner or later with all of the entities gathering data
almost every exchange and many casinos are collecting your personal data
and I'm sure it is not just one database that is leaked, just the one that is on sale OPENLY
you can be sure there are more circulating if not on darkweb then in some other forums or communities
1326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want to buy real estate for bitcoins in the future. on: January 25, 2019, 04:40:57 PM
I really want to leave Russia! Please advise where I can buy real estate abroad in cryptocurrency. I really hope that I succeed. I want to go where it's warm and there are a lot of happy people. Really want to. Advise where can I move?

move to China  Grin
there is this guy who is buying real estate abroad using crypto:
https://www.coindesk.com/china-bitcoin-crypto-millionaire-real-estate
but there are plenty of places around the world where you can buy real estate for bitcoin or cryptocurrency
even here at bitcointalk there was a topic where someone was selling a villa in Spain for bitcoins
and there are even more sites trading real estate, for example:
https://bitcoin-realestate.com/

ah the deposit to withdraw money rule is something entirely new
I mean , whoever made this rule deserves to be expelled from the board of directors (kidding)
nothing disrupts my faith in a new site more than gimmiks like this
why on earth do I have to deposit to withdraw , does it help you to detect cheaters in any way, I highly doubt it
and if I deposit 10 satoshi, does it count as a deposit? better find different ways to battle potential abuse
1328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites offers investment on: January 25, 2019, 03:21:04 PM
leaving the ponzi scheme argument to one side for a moment, i would suggest that there are only two kinds of casino-funding schemes to get involved in:

1. Venture Capital investment (which requires full KYC and is not really open to mere mortals like us)
2. Fully trustless (i.e. 100% code-based) public blockchain solutions.

Even then 2 can be dubious unless you are really knowledgeable about the blockchain in question.

No offense, it's a decent enough thread, but I think OP is still stuck in crypto-hype bubble mode of early 2017-18. Money for nothing and your chicks for free...

what crypto-hype are you talking about?
this is a simple casino bankroll investment, he wants to get his coins work for him instead of gathering dust in the wallet
I think you don't have any idea how investments work, since there is no blockchain involved
you deposit your coins and get a share of a global bankroll ,simple as that
and venture capital investment , like , seriously  Grin
1329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites offers investment on: January 24, 2019, 06:10:32 PM
I am very interested to know which gambling sites are offering investments, I research it but it seems like information is not updated.
Please put the terms like the percentage and whatever necessary information that I should know.

there are several sites that offer investments option and that are trustworthy:
https://bitvest.io/
https://www.crypto-games.net/
https://yolodice.com/

these are the ones that I trust and they offer pretty good returns on investments
you can read about each site's investment TOS for more details:
for Bitvest
https://bitvest.io/investing  https://bitvest.io/liabilities   https://blog.bitvest.io/post/how-bitvest-stores-your-coins

for cryptogames:
We offer you a chance to invest in our house bankroll. By investing, you increase the bankroll and the maximum profit per bet. Over the long run, the profit is expected to equal the house edge times the total amount wagered. Therefore, for Dice it would be 0.8% multiplied by the total amount wagered in Dice by the players. Keep in mind, profit is not guaranteed, because of variance. In the short-term you can still lose your cryptocurrencies. When investing you earn a share of funds proportional to the fraction of the bankroll you have invested.
More information about investments can be found in our FAQ.
Minimum investment amounts are: 0.01 Bitcoin, 0.25 Ethereum, 0.5 Dash, 1 Litecoin, 1 Monero, 20.000 Dogecoin, 0.1 Bitcoin Cash, 50 Peercoin, 15 NeoGas, 5 Ether Classic and 25 Stratis.

for yolodice:
https://yolodice.com/#faq/investing

you can also see realtime profit and total wagered for the top dice sites here:
https://dicesites.com/

in general, from my experience, it is not worth to invest sums under 0.1 bitcoin and for a period of time less than a month
due to variance, people can get discouraged when they get negative profit on their investments (and this happens) and withdraw a loss
while they just should have allowed the math to work in their favour and wait
patience and math is on your side

1330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-01-05] BitTorrent Is Launching Its Own Cryptocurrency on the Tron Network on: January 23, 2019, 11:18:53 PM
Also, there's no precedent of successful crowdfunding of an AAA game or a Hollywood-quality movie yet.

Citizen Kane?

It's not exactly a new thing, platforms like Kickstarter were around for many years already.

It would be new if someone talented had the first ever 100% independent hit film/track/album. It'll happen, I've been saying this for years. Someone who's smart enough to know how good they are, and knowledgeable enough to know they can do everything them self. You don't need an industry when all the modern equipment is household grade.

oh, there are many successful crowdfunded games
one of my favorite games, the Banner Saga  (it has 3 parts now) was crowdfunded
Wastelands 2 was crowdfunded ,maybe not an AAA title, but definitely a fantastic sequel to the classics
I'm a fan of old school RPG and strategy games, there is this new project called Atom
and its a Fallout 2-like RPG , crowdfunded too

as for the Bittorrent's cryptocurrency and people who never pay for stuff, well there must be some good incentitive for them to buy content
and I don't see what model is going to be successful there, but in any case the sales should cover the coin development costs
I'm more interested, actually, in how Bittorent will sort the legal issues- royalties, piracy etc.
or they would have to spend their premined coins to pay fines to Microsoft and Bangbros  Grin

1332  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top sport betting Site that pays in bitcoin on: January 22, 2019, 06:02:25 PM
You are already wearing one in your signature apart from that you have:
777coin
BitCasino
Sportsbet
BitDice
Bustadice
Crypto-Games
FortuneJack
YOLOdice
YoBit.net
Stake.com

There are many more! However I hope this should be enough.
The publicly proven Bitcasino scam and Sportsbet scam are top sportsbooks? You mean scams = top?

Some of the other sites you named do not have a sportsbook!

The best sportsbooks are of course those where you can play with consumer protection service inclusive, because many bettors get scammed. Wink
Interesting. These sites are well known gambling sites across online gambling industry. Why do you think these gambling sites are scam? Do you have any proof/link?

you must be really new here if you ask this sort of questions of gameprotect
make an effort look at his post history and you will know what am I talking about
also the sites quoted are NOT sportsbooks
these are , mostly, crypto casinos or gambling sites

Escrow accepted.

you can't be serious ....
ROI on claiming faucet for half a year, I bet you are swarmed with offers Smiley
don't think that account sales is allowed here, also you will always be able to restore it with your email
1334  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: breakdown of mining costs on: January 22, 2019, 02:39:44 PM
you could ask  this guy: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=64507 , philipma1957
he is pretty good at calculating this sort of things
or read his posts, he runs a rather effective solar array and some miners
you can have a look here :
https://whattomine.com/asic
this will give you an up to date rundown on the costs and profitability of the equipment
and to be thinking of mining at the moment is slightly optimistic, unless you expect bitcoin price to go to at least 6.500$ levels
anything lower than that and electricity costs of over 4-5 cents makes mining unprofitable
1335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption: Rakuten (Amazon of Japan) to likely introduce BTC as a payment option on: January 22, 2019, 02:26:20 PM
there are a ton of companies in Japan that have been integrating bitcoin in their systems for over a year now. to put simply ever since Japanese government accepted bitcoin as a legal way of payment and also removed all taxes from bitcoin when people use it as a currency, it created a big inventive for ever merchant and big company to start looking into accepting bitcoin. in fact that was one of the biggest reasons for the price rise of 2017.

don't agree with the main reason for the 2017 price rise because of Japanese companies integrating bitcoins into their payment systems
but I do agree that Japan is at the moment an example to the rest of the world of how to
promote bitcoin and make it a legal and common payment system along fiat
Rakuten is  a huge step in the same direction
1336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption: Rakuten (Amazon of Japan) to likely introduce BTC as a payment option on: January 21, 2019, 04:09:32 PM
Rakuten, the biggest e-commerce store in Japan is most likely to introduce Bitcoin payments. The company is going through some major corporate restructuring in which their cryptocurrency business is becoming part of their Payments and Settlements business.

Article link: https://blockmanity.com/news/bitcoin/amazon-of-japan-rakuten-likely-to-introduce-bitcoin-payments/

If Rakuten really adopt any crypto, Bitcoin or not, it will be huge. They made some great sponsorship deals with great tennis players in 2018 with intention to enter into EU/US markets.
But every few month I read about rumours of bitcoin adoption from giants like Amazon and Rakuten and at this point no one adopt it for real. So for now this is just in rumours column.

even the rumours, which in Rakuten's case looking like very real possibility, give a boost to cryptocurrencies in this bear market
and if it goes through, this will put bitcoin in the line of payment systems in Japan
this is huge on so many levels, adoption is one thing, but having one of a big retailers running the payment system accepting bitcoins
is going to ge a test for the whole potential of Lightning Network and find the bottlenecks in how fiat-crypto day to day exchange is working on a big scale
expect the price to rise significantly if this happens
1337  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitStakes.io - Ultra Fast Dice, Roulette, PvP Coinflip - Social Gambling Site on: January 21, 2019, 03:31:18 PM
It looks more like demo than actual website. I mean I am too used to seeing very crowded casinos and chats, here it is so dead that even the chat doesn't move at all, for the past one minute I have not seen any new messages. Maybe try to think about a new advertisement method ? I mean you need to create some promotions and so forth and put them all over the internet and maybe even think about creating a bitcointalk signature campaign to begin with, after all the biggest websites like stake still has signature campaigns as well. Why would you not want to get your name heard bigger ? I know it requires capital to begin with but since you already have the website and your design is sleek I think it could do some damage if you could just put some money into it as well.

you do realise that running a bitcointalk advertising campaign even for a few weeks will cost you at least a couple of bitcoins?
if the site is new and barely has money to fund its bankroll (which I still expect to see in this topic, the proof of funds, that is)
there are better ways to spend coins and cheaper ways of advertising too
bitcointalk signature camapign is in a way a quality assurance mark
the sites that run them are doing fine and can afford to spend money on premium advertisment to the target audience
except , of course the ICO campaigns that can be scams more often than not
1338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are any of you paid your salary in crypto? What's it like? on: January 20, 2019, 07:42:26 PM
I never paid anyone in Bitcoins. But I have received the salary for my freelancing work in BTC.

freeelancing is wastly different from getting salary from your offcial employer
as a freelancer I'm getting paid in crypto every other day (well not every other day, but twice a week at the very least)
you do not have to pay taxes this way, you do not have to declare your income
but if you are getting paid by a company, they have to deal with the paperwork and I wonder if there is a living soul on this forum who can prove
he  is getting paid by a company and show how are they doing it in the legal aspect
1339  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for an investor, everything is planned. on: January 20, 2019, 04:26:30 PM
@All,

I'm done with this forum.
Every time I'm trying to do something I'm judged by people who doesn't ask for any kind of information.
Which of you even messaged me on telegram so you can hear what I'd have to say regarding that?
Which one of you asked for the references and even the portofolio of the web developing company among with the references? None of you.
Once i'll have the site even if it is gonna take a bit more and it'll have success I'll bump up this post so you can remember your mistake and even if it will take years you'll eventually apologize.

Wish you all the best,
Great community trying to help others realise something in their life,
Great human behaviour,
Great respect,
Keep it up!

no need to be butthurt, mate
I will be very happy for you if you prove the community wrong
yet the initial approach of yours is wrong on so many levels
you came to a forum and asking for a 10.000$ worth of investment without giving proper initial information (not even talking about collateral here since there is none or you would not be asking for money first place) and asking to go to chat with you in tele
you , probably, do not realize how many scammers use the same tactics to scam the gullible
and I already mentioned that the section you should have posted at is called Project and development, serious people there  would have asked proper questions
here , in gambling section ,all you be getting is doubt and ostracizing and crappy posts to pad the stats
deserved or not its a completely different matter
if you want to succeed- do the right things to succeed
1340  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitStakes.io - Ultra Fast Dice, Roulette, PvP Coinflip - Social Gambling Site on: January 20, 2019, 03:44:16 PM
No active promotion, most likely this site won't survive in the competition.
I don't know what are their method of promoting their dice site but it seems they are not aggressive in doing it, OP is also not
active so what can we expect from them? Probably, this is one of the dice sites that will just display their interest then suddenly gone.

The website is pretty much dead. The only player who was playing on this casino made his last bet an hour ago. This doesn't look very bright. Also the script looks a lot like stake&primedice's. Did they somehow hack it and put it on the black market or is it a common dice script being sold everywhere?
Yeah I guess so, I see OP's account active on January 17, but he did not give the slightest explanation of questions and doubts by some users in this thread. I really regret when a gambling place that can be said is good because it has a fast response but the developer of the place is not active. I hope he can come back and give an explanation and become an active gambling site.
Thats what i saw too where he was active on Jan 17 but didnt give any response on what other users concern here on this thread.Either he do forgot this thread or just avoiding to answer on whats being clarified on here?

probably realised the errors of his ways Smiley and working on another project
the sites like this are stillborn for many reasons
the main ones being:
a) too much competition on the market, any new site has to fight the big guns like Bitsler, Stake, Cryptogames, Bitvest, Fortunejack etc.
b) the market volume, there is simply not enough gamblers to just wander in randomly and bet several bitcoins, the times like these are long gone
pundits study the sites, pick the best bonuses and promotions and wager there
c) not enough promotion and exposure, just a bitcointalk topic is not enough to have any reasonable amount of people gambling at your site
d) bankroll and trust, not enough both  for the whales to bet
and so on and so forth
a new site has to be exceptional in so many areas to compete on such a stacked market that it requires a good amount of initial resources and a team behind it
I don't see any of those here, sadly
maybe the things will change and OP will prove me wrong, who knows
