Additon on the account options related to the VIP program is great as well as about the available rakeback. Few more additons on this new addition will make it perfect. More addition such as a CLAIM button for the rakeback would be really nice so players wont need to contact live support to claim the rakeback.
I'm still far away to reach the Platinum 1 level, its progress shows around 30% to Platinum 1 but I wonder how many level are there under the same Platinum. I tought Platinum is the highest but after this new addition I see there is Platinum 1, so the next after Platinum 1 will be Platinum 2?

yup , think there are five Platinum levels
several of my good friends are Platinum 2-3 , don't think I heard about anyone reaching Platinum 4 or higher just yet
then there is a demi-god status  when you wager 10.000 bitcoins  and Ed-like status , one has to wager over 50.000 btc or donate 500 btc directly
 ^^ ( not really , just kidding )
482  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 - fast & fair dice game BTC LTC ETH DOGE on: September 14, 2019, 05:17:02 PM
9 more days til invest is no longer an option,,, I see from my stats I still manage to make it in profit for about 2% (on maximum leverage) so I will be happy (also divested in profit before so will be more than 2%).

Will probably want to convert some to a different crypto to prevent MAX bet temptation;)

I am kinda sad for that.
I am still searching for an alternative because I want to invest my money to another Casino... Do you have any other suggestion alternative to YOLOdice for this feature?

well there are only four-five casinos I would consider investing into , yolodice was one of them , but ...
if you are looking for alternatives , check Bitvest  https://bitvest.io/  - they are accepting btc , eth  , ltc , doge , bch investments
cryptogames  https://www.crypto-games.net   stopped accepting bitcoin investments some time ago , but I think altcoin investments are open still
and , of course , Bustabit as one of the top "investors heavens" ( despite some recent incidents they remain the first choice among investment casinos , IMHO)
483  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: September 14, 2019, 03:47:01 PM
Really? It's the first time I've heard about this. Is there any link to an announcement or any other thing help me for more details?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=319540.msg29578182#msg29578182
But I'm not sure that their plans are still same because this post was made long time ago. Maybe TheQuin can answer better about future plans of Freebitco.in.

that was a great idea for the future of this site, i don't know why we haven't seen anything yet. i was mostly excited about the addition of altcoins and the fact that you could easily exchange them for bitcoin ("a no-KYC shapeshift.io style exchange"), this is specially interesting because they have such ridiculously low withdrawal fees (since they batch transactions) compared to exchanges.

Anybody can create a no KYC shapeshift right away. Just hire a few coders and they'll copy/paste shapeshift's code w/o KYC for you.

The tricky part is how is freebitco.in going to avoid the power which forced shapeshift to implement KYC. If that power (FEDs, police, CIA, NSA whatever your call them) wants to find out who the owner of freebitco.in, they'll find him and those guys are pretty good at intimidating people. They gave Voorhees 2 choices:

a) Go to prison for life
b) Force KYC and keep your business.

Maybe it is going to have a chance if they come up with a decentralized app. Otherwise  I find it unrealistic.

yeah but the difference would be shapeshift has only one purpose and without it the site won't exist. but it is not true about this case. if some day there were some pressure from some governments then they could easily remove that particular feature and continue on. not to mention that it could all come down to how much that feature is being used.
for example you could do the exchange in bitsler.com too and this feature has been around for a very long time. i have never heard of any government pressuring them in any ways.

-snip-

well there is a difference between a casino's exchange and shapeshift or any other similar service
Bitsler if I'm correct , has around 3-5% exchange fee , some currencies more , some less with the rates taken from one of the services or large exchanges and checked/changed every minute or so
Stake, for example , partnered with Coinswitch and provide exchange off site
Duckdice , Windice and Yolodice all have their own exchanges
you can read their terms to see they are AML compliant , some of the sites mentioned CAN request KYC , although they rarely do so
I don't think that authorities will monitor petty volumes like the ones going through casino's exchanges and only a not ... very wise criminal would risk depositing to a casino to exchange coins there
484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The house edge on: September 14, 2019, 02:22:34 PM
Hello guys,

So I'm interested in gambling sites, to be precise, that have the best user edge and many options like "stop loss" and controls like "auto spin". Which one do you use. I have found some but only that require deposit or shit like that. So I am open for any good advice? And no spam please!

Thank you,
Angell

Hello
the industry standard is 1% House edge ( yes it is called house edge or HE , not user edge )
most popular  provably fair casinos have 1% on their most popular games like dice , plinko crash etc.
if you are looking for names:  Bitsler , Stake , Primedice , Crypto-games , Bitvest , Yolodice  , Windice and so on
and are you looking for something that doesn't require deposit? I mean do you want to play with the faucet money only and make no deposit?
485  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Buying Altcoin with BTC, Capital Loss Every Single Time? on: September 14, 2019, 11:35:28 AM
with bitcoin dominating the market more than ever ,  it is now
almost 70% dominance means that its price is growing faster than that of the all of the altcoins combined
you can't generalize though , there are some alts that are performing okeyish and a few that outperforming bitcoin
BNB comes to mind , but not many other top 100 coins , unfortunately
but on average , you will lose most of the times if you sell bitcoin and sit in altcoin

486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new traders are playing to lose on: September 13, 2019, 09:43:58 PM
it is not surprising  , not only traders are making a mistake of not learning the ropes before risking their money
I would not even call them traders , your friend is just a noob trying his hand at trading
being a trader means at least understanding of how does the trading work
this is indeed looks like gambling , just a quick all -in and waiting to get instant result
when the inevitable loss came , chasing your loss , thus driving your balance deeper into red
tell your friend to spend some time reading about trading strategies or even testing them with a free trading terminal
487  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: September 13, 2019, 08:36:01 PM
VIP progress makes me feel horrible. I don't know the levels and at how much wagered you become a VIP member and I am sure if you play long enough you will eventually reach it but I am not even half way to bronze yet, its like %40 or so, which means I have to gamble as much as I have gambled and then some in order to become just bronze, let alone all the other types.

I have been gambling here for what? two years now? That has been just 40% of the VIP progress which means with this speed I will be a bronze in about 2.5-3 years Cheesy. I have to pick up my game and become a bigger gambler but at the same time I am having fun betting 10 satoshi per bet, it makes me feel like I am gambling but at the same time not make me lose too much money so I will feel regret.

don't feel the pressure
its FOMO that is speaking , play within your own limits and means and only gamble what you can afford to lose
you don't HAVE to pick up your game , but you CAN if you want more benefits at Stake for being a VIP
gambling is supposed to be fun , you , so to say ,  buy andrenalin and spend time watching digits roll , balls drop and cards go in the most retarded sequence ever
and laugh ( or swear , occasionally)
if it makes you feel regret , consider limiting your gambling sessions and/or banks
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im sick and tired of this Bitcoin on: September 13, 2019, 08:20:24 PM
think you are just venting your frustration , mate
bitcoin is money , you can buy things with it - not everything you want and need just yet
but there are many blogs and videos where people did challenges living ONLY using bitcoins to buy stuff for a period of time
with adoption you will be able to spend bitcoin as you are spending your fiat money nowadays
how to make money with bitcoin ? if you think out of the fiat box you can find many ways , you can do bitcoin related jobs and earn bitcoin
you can invest bitcoin or do trading , the options are numerous
much better than felling sick of bitcoin and potentially missing out on the lifechanging opportunity
489  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: September 13, 2019, 05:46:31 PM
I do understand about the different withdrawal Options. It's just that the time taken to approve the withdraw would take longer(thus the pending notifications would stay on until the withdraw is approved probably by the Mintdice team, that's when one's transaction can now wait for confirmations on the bitcoin network which also takes some time)

Given the recent update by MindiceSara, this is bound to change, I think the approval process will be a lot quicker with automation.

By the way even Windice have a fixed fee of 0.0002 BTC but the approval speed is quicker before confirmations from the bitcoin network start. I think that's the direction mint dice are also pointing to  Wink
Fixed fee is still good if the price is low, sometimes some places require a lot of money for the withdrawal and thats not acceptable, I mean including segwit now and there are other methods it should be simpler to withdraw. I know a place (exchange) that requires literally 0.001 for withdrawal, thankfully I never have to withdraw bitcoin from there but if I had to I would be super upset about it. 0.0002 is really not that much and could be accepted.

I mean whats the point of having three options when the withdrawal fee is already low, I think focusing on speed would be much better than focusing on the fee itself, if you have a really fast withdrawal speed you probably won't even notice what the fee is because you want to take your money out very quickly.

as far as I know windice doesn't have a fixed transaction fee
it has the upper cap of 0.0002 btc per bitcoin transaction and if the bitcoin network state requires a higher fee , lets say 0.0004 btc , they would pay it out of their pocket
usually though the fee is much lower and is calculated based on an average 2-6 blocks wait time
when I was withdrawing a few days ago , it was 0.0000335 btc 3350 sat
fixed fee has its drawbacks , for example I would not be too happy to pay 20k satoshi every time if I knew that the tx cost is only 1-3k satoshi
also if the chain is super congested , with tens of thousands of unconfirmeds a 20k satoshi fee could see your transaction stuck for hours if not days
490  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: September 13, 2019, 12:36:55 PM
It was fun while it lasted!
Who enjoyed their free 3-day boost? 😍

Have you seen the latest addition to your Account Options?
There's a new VIP Progress window Wink

I definitely did, wished it was 30 days instead :p

yup , a cool update and a generous promotion by Stake
now there is an incentive for players to level up and gain more VIP levels
3 days was a bonus , for  all to see what the vip benefits are (some of them at least )
I don't know if all of the regular players have this tab active , it would have been cool if it was , like  , greyed out
and showing how much one has to wager to unlock vip features + the features listed
maybe it is already there , haha but I will suggest it anyhow
491  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to predict Bit coin price. on: September 13, 2019, 08:43:27 AM
There might be no trick to predicting the price but there is to buying/selling.

If it is quiet and not much is happening buy.
If your grandma and coworkers talk bitcoin every day for a week GTFO! Or wait for the first dump and dump too...

 Tongue

the infamous "grandma and coworkers" indicator!
and a trader can make money regardless of the price , its the HODLers that are affected by a price dump
but in the long run bitcoin is going to be only stronger and ... pricier , so when coworkers start to talk about it might be a good  time to buy it instead   Grin
492  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCDice.io - New dice site, fast rolls, instant withdrawals, invest on: September 13, 2019, 08:22:13 AM
Any promotion coming up? Now the site is a little dead.  Roll Eyes

slightly dead , yes - it is usually only me in chat when I have a look
weekly leaderboard promotions are good when there are leaders to reward   Tongue
lack of faucet to try the site and no meaningful promo campaign makes the site look like a desert at the moment
p.s. looks like I cannot login now , sent for recovery e-mail but it never arrived
493  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: September 12, 2019, 09:35:59 AM

Today i received an email from noreply@stake.com with this object "Cent21, your VIP boost is live for three days!".

I just want to be sure that this is not a phishing attempt as the link appear to be a little strange... it point to api.mixpanel ecc.ecc.

Someone from stake could confirm this is official?
Stake does email people time to time ( I remember getting about 70 doge or so once) but that doesn't mean you should trust the email blindly.

yes . in my case , i recieve some xrp but they are too small so i just max them out and loose them all . i also recieve a vip boost for three days but i dont opened the link yet . dont know if its worth to try or not  .

this isnt kind of a phishing mail because the mail looks legit  ,it has a unique mail name of stake and also have some images . its easy to detect fake mails or phished mails though as well as phished websites and all of them will also head straight on the spam folder .

You do not need to open the link for the hourly boost, simply open the site and click Cashier then you'll find the boost as I have posted a screenshot few days back. If you are an active player then I believe the amount of the boost is worth enough to claim every hour. At least it is bigger than usual faucet as per my own experience but obviously the amount depends on your activity.

Yes, amount is depends on the activity but is there any tier that we need to achieve to get X amount? Any list that showing that? So players will know thay how much they should wagered to reach this amount that they desire per claim. Anyway, how to get this boost all the time? Do you need to be a vip members to get it? Any requirement on being a VIP? My current boost faucet is only 988 per claim

I guess this was a promo boost for all that lasted 3 days only
during the promo period online figures for Stake went from 850-1050 to 1900-2200 , so I would say it was a hit among players
VIP players can ( well , some of them ) ask for the feature to be re-enabled for a week
and they do have a status bar and a special menu item that shows their tier progress and available rakeback
this new feature is very cool ,by the way - now you can see how much you got to wager until the next VIP level , maybe add figures too
like 100.000$ normalized wagered , need 150.000$ more to reach Platinum status etc.

494  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell now at 9.5K or use emergency cash? on: September 11, 2019, 08:46:39 PM
Just wanted to report that I used FIAT at hand we made installments on the kids' books and insurance and things like that. The car has been doing good and it runs smoother.
They installed larger pistons and rings, and they are made from stronger steel, not your standard pistons Smiley
I am hoping to be able to use more power now, and I get to keep my bitcoin.
We ran out of money though, but I am trying to supplement it.

glad to hear you were able to find cash and didn't touch your investment , welcome to the HODLers Internaltional!  ...back I guess  Grin
I'm sure you made the right choice and won't regret not selling at 9.5k , even with the market seems to be shaky at the moment
in the long term , we we all look back at the 10k figure and wished we bought some more ( thats when bitcoin is worth 100.000$+ )
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bustabit strategy on: September 10, 2019, 04:22:04 PM
while there exist people who believe in scripts and strategies that can make you rich , casinos will flourish
all strategies work until they don't
you can win , basically , on any non-retarded strategy short term , but the longer you use it or play in general
the sooner the house edge and variance kick in and the mathematics does what it does best - works
due to my occupation I witness hundreds of people daily oblivious to how does a casino work , some of them even do not know the rules of the games they are playing
some blame casinos for "rigging" their particular bets quote " I just got 12 red bets in a row on a 50% chance , this is impossible"
please, educate yourself before playing and do not get scammed/fooled with the scripts that promise you riches
496  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell now at 9.5K or use emergency cash? on: September 10, 2019, 03:29:02 PM
don't sell now or at 11.000 as some suggest
unless you are totally out of money , do not touch your investment until it hits the price target you have in mind
we are in the beginning of a potentially huge bull run and you would not want to sell short and regret after
while I don't think we hit ATH of 2017 , but can get very close to 12.000$ levels if not higher
if you want to sell , at least wait for a couple more months , the end of the year , historically is a much better time to sell
497  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: September 10, 2019, 02:27:54 PM
only bitcoin , only hardcore!
the best , the love , the only - bitcoin core  Cheesy
with its increasing its dominance to over 70% it is an obvious choice to any investor
if you are into high risk investments , you can go for low volume unknown coins that you think could go to the moon with time
but the variance can be big and you can end up with a loss , had several such coins in my portfolio and all of them , sadly . showed only negative profit
bitcoin , on the other hand , is a relatively safe investment since it is only going to increase in price overtime
498  Economy / Gambling / Re: 2D Bitcoin Battle Royale. Play to win Bitcoin - BitShowdown.io on: September 10, 2019, 11:03:27 AM
I can't call it gambling , more like a fun timewaster - especially with the prizes  "up to 100 satoshi"
100k minimal withdrawal makes the players return and play again and again , but it must take a long time reach that amount
its a version of agar.io bitcoin clones , hope it doesn't repeat their mistakes
I'm pretty sure all of the agar clone games are dead because it was impossible to fight cheaters and players who teamed up to kill the opposition and win the prize
if you don't introduce the paid entry system , maybe think of alternative ways of monetizing the site ?
since I am not sure the pay-to-enter model will be too popular

you're right it's not gambling. it's more like a game of skill, where you can put money on yourself and your own skill. sort of like poker.

I was the top player on chopcoin.io for a long time, and it wasnt the teaming that killed off the game.

it was the devs lack of improvement of the game.

they came out with new pay to play team based playgrounds but the teaming system was not designed correctly. users could predict which team they would get on if they joined the round, so this discouraged participation, since they would join a team that was winning, but not join if they new they'd end up on a team that was losing.

the devs should have stuck to a simple free for all pay to play playground, and make that the only option for players to play during the weekend. instead the devs left the free to play playground open during all times, and only had a free for all tournament once during the weekend every so often during a certain time. they should of had rolling tournaments throughout the day/weekend.

the bungled the project when they could have implemented simple scheduling procedures to encourage participation.

its really sad too, because for a while there they had a good community of players.

interesting , I was playing casually there and wasn't happy when it closed
it was fun and even some Twitch streamers and popular e-sports players used to play
the community was good indeed and building a community around a project is very important
wish you better luck with the game , this market is pretty empty , not many casual skill based  crypto games out there ( not associated with casinos or gambling )
and it could become a successful project
499  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 $1,000 Daily Race💰7-day streak bonus🔥 on: September 10, 2019, 10:43:12 AM
🐺Please remember about our daily Wolf Race where you can win $330 for the 1st place!🐺

🏆Top30 Bettors get a split of $1,000 prize pool!🏆

So you are saying that the $1,000 will be available daily? How long are you planning to do this? I knoe this is cost some time but there should be a reason why youbare doing this all the time. And I do not know if you guys have a big bankroll or not but it seems that to have $1,000 daily competition is too much, which mean that it will cost you $30,000 in a month. Do you think your site can generate more than that in a month?

well this is called investment. if you don't have fund to invest in your casino then it will be hard to get users now a days. because there are so many reputed casino's already, so if you want to attract them you have to do something different and wolfbet is doing that correctly. and if you think you want to enter a business and start making profit from the first month then you are wrong, at first we need to catch people's attraction then automatically you will get your profit after few months.

Yes I know this is about investment on the first place for players. But for some new site dont you think that theybhave incredible budget of marketing program? I just can't believe my eyes to see that huge amount burned for marketing budget. You can see that they do not have any time limit on their events which is they will continously spend $30k each month. I was wondering if they can generate more than that each months

you do not know what is the goal of the site , maybe they want to get into the top 3 of the dice sites and are eager to spend money to do so
even if the contests do not generate immediate profit , which they , apparently don't
they do wonders for promotion - the site is paying and paying every day , thirty gamblers every day win and withdraw
and come back the next day to try their luck again , bringing others through affiliate and spreading the word
30k a month is not much for a casino , just have a look at Bitsler or Stake - they are spending way more than that on their promos and contests
