the first guy left to make a call and the second wanted to go quick to hospital becouse one relative have problems etc but they told me they will come back quick You made so many mistakes believing all this BS. When unsure, follow your gut feeling. How can this not raise red flags?

can i use this address for the personal transaction with payment? Yes. But make sure you get the private key complete before funding it. sometimes people said print/paper or cold wallet is risky for funds. Everything is risky if you do it wrong. So make sure you know what you're doing before doing it, or use a low amount for testing until you're comfortable. However, unless you've created your private key offline on a system that won't go online again, this address won't be a cold wallet. It's basically as (in)secure as your current (hot) computer. I don't know everything works smoothly or not how to make a safe side for transactions? you can help me with safely using this bitcoin address? A tutorial to using Bitcoin goes beyond the scope of this topic, and there are enough of those around already. In short, importing a private key in Electrum works smoothly. if LoyceV wants, he can check where are you sending BTC and/or from where you receive BTC as this will be a known address to LoyceV. I'm wondering why you're stating the obvious: the address is posted in public, of course anyone can link it to an account now. But even if you create a vanity address by yourself, if you use your username for it, it's still quite obvious.

delete this var topfolder = top.slice(0, 3); and add this: var topfolder = top.substring(0, top.length-4); Thanks, it works again! I had to edit 4 files (the 404's have a slightly different description). I didn't archive posts yet when that topic was created. I scraped the posts later, the first post for instance is archived as oldposts #31577013. I have those posts only sorted by msgID, not by topicID. I'm currenly processing all data, but at the rate it's going, it's going to take a few weeks to complete. It's not very efficient, and therefore takes a lot of processing power. I only now realize I should also process these posts per userID, and I should have done that from the start, so I'll have to restart this. It'll takes a bit longer again Stuff like this would be so much easier from a database, but luckily I'll only have to do this once (more).

if the length is > 4 the folder is the first 3 digits. I checked what I wrote: How to use it- Find the msgID, userID or topicID you need. Let's use msgID 51902990.
- Remove the last 4 digits from the msgID to get the directory name (if there are 4 or less digits, use 0): 5190.
- Put everything together behind the (above) URL and add ".html": https://loyce.club/archive/posts/5190/51902990.html.
So for topicID 178336, remove the last 4 digits to get the directory name. That gives directory 17. Add a slash, the topicID and .html to get https://loyce.club/archive/topics/17/178336.html. So you don't need to take the first 3 digits, you need to remove the last 4 digits. The logic behind this is that I create directories with at most 10,000 files. I checked for a few userIDs too, those seem to work fine.

Thanks again! Don't worry about the leap second, it's still pretty good timing ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

You are not meeting some random person, you are meeting a fellow Bitcoiner. Whether he is a Newbie, Member or Legendary shouldn't matter. It does matter: once word gets out you're meeting Bitcointalk members "in the area", a $5 wrench attacker could easily register for just that purpose. I think trying to rob someone of their crypto would probably be easier and safer to do than with the money in their bank. When you've got a load of high-net worth guests I wonder the same when watching Gold Rush on the Discovery channel. They're in the middle of nowhere with loads of gold. Now imagine posting that when you're some kind of a famous member on bitcointalk who usually reports shitpoters or busts scams There are probably still people out there who hate me from the days I was a Mod at Rollin's Chatter Box. That's one of the reasons I like my privacy. I'd be curious to meet people, but I know from past (dating) experience it's usually not how you expect people to be ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

the whole thing is I don't trust our government ~ and would like to see a provably fair way used. I don't think that's possible, but you can do your share by applying to be an observer (this is just the first link I found on the subject). In a way counting votes is a form of crowd sourcing ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Was the post flagged bad by mistake? Maybe. I've sometimes had reports marked as "bad" while I disagree with it. When in doubt, you can try reporting it again. If you're worried about your report accuracy, remember this: "Do not worry about your accuracy too much". Out of thousands of reports I'm sometimes wrong, and I can't blame Mods for making mistakes sometimes too. On second thought: I reported this post as it does not the rule stated in OP: I don't think not following the exact format makes it off-topic. If OP wanted that, he could have made the thread self-moderated. I'd let it go, then again, I barely visit the Off-topic board anyway.

Yeah you are right people like him must be removed from DT lists. Who's alt are you? There was another attempt at betnomi's reputation last month. Something fishy indeed.

If you're looking for a node provider Your post is considered advertising here, which isn't allowed. However, it doesn't look like the typical spammer, so instead of reporting it, I suggest you remove it yourself and create a new topic on the Service Announcements board.

The Reference link doesn't exist. My archived version shows one off-topic post made by colires (and you broke bumping rules by bumping 4 times on November 10). I see no reason to support a Flag here. I don't trust screenshots (unless from a trusted source), especially when made on Telegram. I've Opposed your Flag.

@LoyceV, being present doesn't oblige you to share your username, rite? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Let me put it this way: if anyone claims to be me, ask for a signed message as explained here. You won't get it, so get the tar and feathers ready ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Who can be trusted to hold the wallets? The candidates holding it That was my idea, on live TV, so we can see their faces as their balance goes up ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Seriously though, there are so many things that can go wrong. Paper is much easier and can be checked by much more people than any electronic solution. Then there’s the problem of the blockchain developers being the only ones capable of investigating cases of fraud in their own voting blockchain, while there are already procedures in traditional voting systems to alert governments of potential fraud. It may end up like "The DAO": all "experts" think it's safe, "normal" people have no idea how it really works, and one guy called "The Attacker" really knows how it works and fools them all.
