So you can change the username?
13382  Economy / Lending / Re: 2 BTC loan paid in 2 months. Metaljar.com collateral. on: January 27, 2015, 11:08:45 PM
I never said either of those valuation sites were reputable. I said they were the first ones that came up on a google search.

I can tell you that as a rule of thumb most domains have zero value. If someone wanted a "Metaljar" domain they could just as easily register Metaljar.net or some other extension or something very similar to metal jar.

I can tell you with even more certainty that no website is going to be worth 4 or 5 figures after only one month
13383  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling my account on: January 27, 2015, 11:05:02 PM
Not worth anything to be honest.. how about you settle your debts?
I got negative trust for trolling in the lending section as a joke didn't realize the trouble it would cause. I contacted the ppl who left negative trust and have to wait 30days for removal so I figured I would just start a new account.
When you "joke" about trying to get a loan on one of your first posts and then attempt to sell your account, some people (myself included) are going to think that you were in fact not joking in your loan request (you did post an address and everything) and will be less willing to remove negative trust (even after the 30 days is up)
13384  Other / Archival / Re: . Delete on: January 27, 2015, 11:01:25 PM
Actually a search of my PM's with you reveal that you cannot change it
13385  Other / Archival / Re: . Delete on: January 27, 2015, 10:59:18 PM

I am not sure , never tried it.

Not caring for the negative deal , won't use it anyway. Either someone elses problem or noones problem , both ways ; not my problem.
Try to change your title and see what happens.
13386  Economy / Lending / Re: 2 BTC loan paid in 2 months. Metaljar.com collateral. on: January 27, 2015, 10:37:33 PM

quickseller please have a look.
I had a look. It is nothing more then a parked domain. I doubt you could sell it for .02 BTC.

Not interested.
13387  Other / Meta / Re: PM restriction for new accounts is needed on: January 27, 2015, 09:27:22 PM
I get 5-10 PMs a week from newbies / literally just signed up accounts asking legitimate questions or asking for help. These are accounts that more often then not become useful members of the community. You can't paint everyone with the same brush.
if you force users to make at least one post before sending a PM then this problem would be solved.
13388  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: wanna sell my account for 0.01 btc (old account) on: January 27, 2015, 08:22:35 PM
Ok i updated the thread with specifications
Are you sure your stats on the OP are correct? I am showing 5 posts and 5 activity on your profile.
13389  Other / Meta / Re: PM restriction for new accounts is needed on: January 27, 2015, 08:17:24 PM
+1

It is also very common to get a PM from one of these imposters after inquiring about a good or publicly making an offer for something. It is very obvious to me that they are fake however the amount of money involved is usually large so they would only need to scam one person to make it worth their while.

I think a good balance would be a one post requirement before you can send a PM in order to make these imposter accounts more visible (and hopefully visable enough to get tagged with negative trust)
13390  Other / Meta / Re: How does trust work, and what do these numbers mean? on: January 27, 2015, 07:26:26 PM
In other words your opinion needs to be valued enough by someone on level one default trust (someone who is on DefaultTrust's trust list) so that they add you to their trust list.
13391  Other / Meta / Re: How does trust work, and what do these numbers mean? on: January 27, 2015, 07:23:06 PM
Being trusted by someone and being on someone's trust list are two independent things. Being trusted by someone generally means that you have done business with the person before or you have witnessed them do something that makes them trustworthy.

Being on someone's trust list means that the person whose list you are on values your opinion enough to agree with your trust ratings.

For example I gave you positive trust because you repaid a loan I gave you with collateral securing the loan. However I really do not know you therefore I am unable to gage your opinion enough to value it.
13392  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Trusted Member account. Neutral Trust. on: January 27, 2015, 05:47:32 PM
it takes almost two months for an account to go from member to full member Huh
13393  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Trusted Member account. Neutral Trust. on: January 27, 2015, 04:04:02 PM
I am pretty sure you are wrong about being able to earn 1 BTC per month with a member account.

Even if there were a campaign open they allows unlimited posts for member accounts, you would need to make somewhere between 1000 and 2000 posts to make that much.

Also your title conflicts with your description. The account either has positive trust or neutral trust.
13394  Other / Meta / Re: REMOVE NUBBINS FROM THE DEFAULT TRUST LIST FOR REPEATED TRUST ABUSE on: January 27, 2015, 02:26:55 PM
If anyone has a serious problem with Nubbins' judgement then they should exclude Nubbins in their own trust list. There's no need to wait for other members to take action.

Someone give this man a medal. If you don't like me, why in the fuck am I on your trust list?
You are by default. That is the point of this thread to change you being on everyone's trust list by default.

Well maybe the point of the thread should be to change Default Trust so it doesn't suck in precisely the way that pisses everyone off.

Why not chime in here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=914641.0;all
It would be much easier to abuse trust in the proposed system (I did voice my concerns in that thread).

His concern is not that he sees your trust ratings, it is that other people see your trust ratings by default and as a result may be negatively (or possibly positively) affected to be able to conduct business as a result of your ratings.

13396  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitcoin is exchanged on NETELLER (dirty money) on: January 27, 2015, 02:11:35 PM
I'm not interested in the origin of money
no, the title of your thread says you are looking for dirty money.
13397  Other / Meta / Re: Tor Tax / Proxy Ban on: January 27, 2015, 02:10:48 PM
The purpose of it is to discourage spam. Since you as a rule cannot be traced via IP address on tor it would be very easy to contiously spam (and get banned) via tor. The amount you pay is nominal however it would be prohibitively expensive for spammers
13398  Economy / Lending / Re: need 0.05 on: January 27, 2015, 02:02:43 PM
I don't think you will be able to get that much without collateral
13399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BurtW arrested on: January 27, 2015, 01:57:59 PM
Very interesting. If the site is legit then burtw may not be the same as the person arrested.

Does anyone know for a fact that burtw in fact lives in Colorado?
13400  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitcoin is exchanged on NETELLER (dirty money) on: January 27, 2015, 01:47:44 PM
It is probably not a good idea to deal with someone openly admitting to be willing to accept "dirty" money
