1341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Coins that is very very cheap with fast transaction speed? on: January 23, 2018, 12:18:16 PM
Alright, so before i start

The reason why i am finding this coins is because i wanted to educate to my friends, or through social media. By giving them free coins if they answer on questions and etc.

Hence, looking for coins that
- Has huge supply
- Very very cheap in satoshis
- Fast Transaction Speed (Prefer within 30 second, so they can actually get it within a short time)
- POS preferred (So i can stake and have Giveaway with the Staked coin)

Thanks, suggest me a few
1342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum 2k USD in February? on: January 22, 2018, 05:59:10 AM
With this retracement, guess it might slow down the way to $2,000 but it is not entirely impossible

Ethereum perceived a great awareness since its ICO and last month it has its value x2-3 and i believe it might keep on growing.

Personally, my expectation were at least $3,000 at the end of 2018 Minimum
1343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin or ripple ? on: January 22, 2018, 05:17:25 AM
guys

whats do you think and why ?

i mean in the next 2-5 years
whats your word ?

Ripple is not really centralized for me thus it is not a "real" and "pure" crypto for me.

Bitcoin is good, distribution is not skewed however the miners are somehow centralized imo.

I would look at Ethereum, IOTA and Cardano more. Cardano is good tho, Peer Reviewed Papers
1344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM RELEASED 🌟🔴 GREAT REWARD 🌟🔴 HOLDING FOR REVENUE SHARE on: January 22, 2018, 04:50:50 AM

1345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Gas fee just reduced to 1 GAS? on: January 20, 2018, 03:35:55 AM
@puremage111. Maybe users and developers are slowly reducing using it because it appears to have the same problems as bitcoin hehehe. Speaking for myself, I know the high fees and slow confirms have made me stopped gambling with bitcoin.

How are the cryptokitties activity? I reckon it was the kitties that caused all Ethereum's high fee problems.

Cryptokitties hype got down weeks ago but yeah, it started of as the Kitties flooded the network Tongue
Now similar games are coming out time by time but seems like Ethereum network would just goes stronger by time
1346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ETH Gas fee just reduced to 1 GAS? on: January 20, 2018, 01:18:09 AM
What happened? Waoh

https://ethgasstation.info/

We still have pending transactions there, however the gas price is just 1 GWEI For standard?
Did the network just improved or what so ever? haha

1348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will binance and OKEX exchange close? on: January 19, 2018, 06:07:59 PM
dont think that will happen, it is not a china based exchange

Furthermore, i think they registered on under locale which will make them free of the ban Tongue
1349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is $BCC still a top 100 coin? on: January 18, 2018, 04:14:11 PM
BCC sits at around 40$ right now and is on place 83 on coinmarketcap. How come there is still demand for the coin? Isn't it literally useless now?

IT still above its ico price but yeah, it is Totally useless i think?

The operation is gone, company shut down, no more lending.
Perhaps someone might wanted to reborn it>?

It is still a top 100 coins because it still has quite a big marketcap with its supply and price
1350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the cause of the market downturn? on: January 17, 2018, 05:06:31 PM
cause alot people don't read, or if they do read, they don't do research and purely believe.

I believe tons of the FUD comes from Korea exchange ban and China Mining Ban.
I believe Korea is not banning any legit exchange but those who did not comply with them.

Next, one of the main reason i believe it drops is because of Price correction. However, i believe its a healthy dip there
1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BitConnect a good investment? on: January 17, 2018, 03:23:33 PM
See thread. It seems too good to be true but so many people praised it to the heavens and back in the past.

So now that it dropped more than 97% and BCC closed operations, is it a good time to buy discounted BCC tokens? Roll Eyes

Nope, the operations its closing down. I mean it started as investment trading bot which pays off profit if you locked your tokens. If operations company went off and gone, whats the value BCC remain?
1352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chance of Myetherwallet to create the same and exact private key? on: January 17, 2018, 03:20:39 PM
Still wondering whether there is a probability of obtaining a private key from the wallet https://ethplorer.io/address/0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000#pageSize=100 and become the owner of all burned coins and bring down the market of coins on Ethereum))))

waoh, so this is the burned address?

I guess for such address, even though user might be able to get the private key for this address. But the funds are not move-able?
I assume these address are custom coded smart contracts where funds are depleted from the supply?

Yes, this is the address for burning coins. Usually, after the completion of the ICO, coins are sent to this address, which must be burned. But in the owners tab this address is still there.

I see, the amount in the burned contract address is awesomely alot

Wonder if someone could just revert the contract and take all the coins Cheesy
1353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Myetherwallet security is too weak. Any other ERC20 Wallet? on: January 16, 2018, 07:42:30 AM
Yesterday my Myetherwallet hacked and balance Ethereum amount transfered to other MEW.
I backtracked the transaction and found there are many hundred wallets whose amount was also transfered like from my account.
Why Myetherwallet security is too weak?
 Any other ERC20 Wallet?
Give your opinion so that other fellows may be benefited.

I haven’t longer worked on myetherwallet after the hack attacks on this. For now the wallets that I use are Ethereum wallet and Coinomi. The first wallet as you know for ETH and the second for altcoins.
The information provided by you is very useful and valuable. I downloaded both Ethereum Wallet and coinomi and start working on it.

Thank you for attention on the topic and valuable suggestion.

That etherscan address you provided is insane

"ETH Balance:   8,925.055347501305272123 Ether
ETH USD Value:   $10,985,136.62 (@ $1,230.82/ETH)"

This is consider a huge amount there and i assume its a wide and massive hijack, phishing site, or keylogging.

Anyhow, did you successfully find out the reason behind this issue?
personally, I still don't believe it that it was hacking/phising kind or anything like that happened to akmittal. the amount is so huge and so many addresses. for me it's just 2 possibilities. it is exchanger or it happened only in MEW itself. I don't believe it is about hacking or pishing or something like that happened to all of the users computer. it is exchanger or it is MEW the only one that been hacked, not the users.

I am confident that MEW is safe from the attack as all my friends that i've guided them recently on taking the security measurement are safe from this hack.

I would say this is a large scale hack so yeah, but how?

Even if we talk about exchange, exchange doesn't require us to provide them Keystore Files/ Private key.

The most likely case would be the Etherdelta DNS Hijacked previously, or all of these user got injected with some sort of keylogged file. Guess we will need to wait OP To answer some of these questions.

To OP
1) Which exchanges you used recently?

2) Did you download anything recently?

3) What have you done on the same day you got hacked?

1356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is spectrecoin a scam? on: January 16, 2018, 06:23:40 AM
Spectrecoin claims to have anonymous staking, but no one has yet to explain how it achieves this miracle. I'm calling BS until someone can explain it.

I am not a tech expert so i have no idea how the infrastructure layer works but being a pass member of the spectrecoin community.

I would say that they are not scam, the community is healthy and it is not a PnD coins. Although i've sold all my spectrecoins previously to fund something else, i am still confident that spectrecoin could be something good there

Devs developed and gives update time by time, if its a scam, there's no reason for them to keep developed and entertain the user because they could just ignore and leave Grin
1357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Chance of Myetherwallet to create the same and exact private key? on: January 16, 2018, 06:16:39 AM
I mean of course, it is nearly impossible to do that as 64 Characters involve letter and number would have like Zillions possibilities.

However, wanted to know how MEW Works.
Basically, it random generated a keystore + private key for you right?

Hence, in order to protect the user MEW don't hold the record like how and whats the private key they generated right? Meaning that there's a very very very minimal chance that a repeat wallet will be created?

I am not an IT expert but is this possible?

Assume someone hijacked MEW DNS.
1) User created wallet
2) Hacker note down and save each and every keystore and private key down.
3) Has a bot to keep track of the address to check if X coins is deposited into those address
4) Access with private key, and steal?

1359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC of bounty hunters on: January 15, 2018, 05:45:51 AM
Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.

I am not sure of how others think but i am okay to give out my information for bounty programs

IMO, If you are qualified and one who do real work, there's no need of afraid of identity exposed.

However, perhaps the KYC might needed to be integrated to some sort of good agency or decentralized bounty network like Bounty0x
I believe it may do good Smiley

But since when it is listed on cryptopia?
