1341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hacked BitcoinTalk Data Finally Surfaces On Dark Net on: September 06, 2016, 04:19:48 AM
if you follow these steps, then the chances of getting hacked will be minimal.
1. better change your password regularly and there should not be any problem.
2. dont click on any links. do a quick search about it on google before visiting any unknown site.
3. dont download any files without knowing about it.
4. always keep your password long and use a combination of both capital and small letters.
5. never use the same password everywhere.
Oh no, I think if they sell it, It cause big in bitcoin community because many earners are earning here in bitcointalk by services like selling their accounts, by joining signature camapaign and many more. What is the action of theymos now? And What should we do now have accounts in bitcointalk?

change the password. lol.
1342  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: getsharebtc.com - scam or legit? on: September 06, 2016, 04:05:30 AM
Hello,

Anyone tried getsharebtc.com cloud mining?

I joined Sept 1, 2016. Invested $175. Promised to get $280 in return.

Fortunately, I was able to get the promised amount sent to my blockchain account.

I was looking for information about getsharebtc.com is legit or scam, but cannot find any.

Anyone who tried this cloud mining company?

Screenshot - http://screencast.com/t/yC3ZKsFwg3fm

Thanks,
Jad
you should better stay away from any type of cloud mining sites because all of them are shit ponzis. if you are so much interested in mining then why not buy a mining rig for yourself rather than investing in a company which promises so big return and tells itself a cloud mining company. i hope that you have understood what i want to say. also, that site is  created on 16 july 2016 which means that it is relatively new and no information about it on google and bitcointalk clearly means that no one knows about it and it is made just for the purpose of scamming some innocent noobs. btw, how did you come to know about that unknown site ?
1343  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin Price Predictions for 2016 Range as High as $1200? on: September 06, 2016, 03:33:51 AM
Which experts say that Bitcoin will reach $1200? Can you share link to article, interview, economic forecasts or something to confirm this?
I am not talking about users who can speculate about everything and pull numbers from the space.

I know prediction of Tim Draper: https://news.bitcoin.com/2018-bitcoin-price-tim-draper-unlikely/

But I consider it very outdated and hyped as he said that right after BTC reached its ATH in December 2013.
lol. no experts can predict the price to btc. it is very unlikely that their prediction will be true. bitcoin is very fluctuating and its price goes up and down every few seconds. so even if someone, thinking himself as an expert, is predicting about the future price of btc, you should just take it as a pinch of salt. and believe me, bitcoin can go even higher than 1200$ or as low as 400$ because of its unpredictable nature. you should just take the profits what you get from the hype and dont believe on anyone's predictions. just my 2 cents!
1344  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: September 06, 2016, 03:07:57 AM
That is not going to happen because their are allot of different countries with each there own currency. It would be pretty unlikely for Bitcoin to take over money.
Many people do not even know what Bitcoin is so that has to change.
bitcoin is just a few years old so it is yet a new currency unlike fiat. fiat is here from decades so people will obviously know about fiat more than btc. btw, bitcoin can replace the fiat but it needs some time. how many people knew about btc in 2010 ? there were very few but now you can see that the number of users using btc are increasing rapidly. just have faith in btc and wait for that day when it replaces fiat. maybe at our old age or after our death it will definitely replace fiat.
1345  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: September 04, 2016, 12:06:30 PM
-snip-
Anyone have other sites to invest in?
1. you forgot to add crypto-games.net it is one of the most reputable gambling website which has an investment option too.
2. also bitvest.io should be there in the list as it is now running over a few years.
3. betterbets.io is also a good option for gambling investment.
4. there is already a topic made like this. link to the topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1585408.0 better to discuss in that topic itself instead of creating the same thing.
1346  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rising to 600$ , pure manipulation ? on: September 04, 2016, 08:55:54 AM
12 hours ago (before I go to sleep) , the price was something like 575$ If I remember right , I woke up and found it 600$ (using preev.com rates) .
What could cause this price increase ? I checked some news websites and I couldn't find any obvious reasons , the only thing I read and I found interesting is Bitfinex paying their customers back from the HACK but I'm pretty sure It has nothing to do with the increase.
the same question arose in my mind but its nothing much surprising as bitcoin is known for such sudden increase or decrease in the price with no major reason. so we should just enjoy and dont waste our time thinking about why did the price rise so suddenly. btw, the only one reason i can think and want to share with you is maybe the price is increasing due to the halving effect. remember that day when all were saying that the effect of halving can be seen in a few months ? if it is true then we can see 700$ in a few months or sooner. getting very excited!
1347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What other invention besides the blockchain/Bitcoin was invented by an anonymous on: September 04, 2016, 02:49:52 AM
What other invention besides the blockchain/Bitcoin was invented by an anonymous person(s) in the past 100 years?
1. altcoins like litecoin, dogecoin, are invented by anonymous people.
2. gambling websites are invented by anonymous people.
3. many ponzi cloud mining sites are invented by anonymous people.
4. this forum is invented by yet an anonymous person.
5. the world is also invented by an anonymous person. lol.
1348  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: September 04, 2016, 02:37:52 AM
why dont you include the drawbacks of using bitcoins as well ? if you are explaining bitcoin to somebody then you should explain the whole thing and not only the advantages of using btc. btw, the points that you have listed are nothing new. by doing a quick search about bitcoin on google, anyone can get these points so no need to post those common points again and again. just my 2 cents!
1349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Pixcoin ? on: September 02, 2016, 03:18:58 PM
    Hello  Grin
Since many people use Bitcoins to online
games should not Pixcoin be the
 most appropriate name ?
hello, can you tell me what do you mean by pixcoin ? and how is it related with online games ? also, not all people use bitcoin for playing online games. if you use btc only for gambling purposes, then it doesnot mean that every people use it for that purpose only. personally, i didnot like that name suggested by you. bitcoin sounds way better than pixcoin and i dont think that name really matters in this case.
1350  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Need some help with this Invalid GUID on: September 02, 2016, 02:52:34 PM
Unable to open my blockchain wallet as the 2FA code via SMS entered, gives " Invalid GUID"

Any idea how to help?
did you even try to contact the blockchain.info support ? they are the only one to resolve your problem. if you are feeling more impatient, then you should try contacting this user: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=369702 because he had the same problem which is already  resolved. maybe, he can share his experience with you. btw, i suggest you to stop using these online web wallets if you dont want to be a victim of such issues in the future. better switch to electrum wallet or a more stable offline hardware wallets like trezor and keepkey.
1351  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign on: September 02, 2016, 02:23:32 PM
Will anyone suggest me a best and high paying signature campaign. Thanks in  advanced

As a junior member ? It doesn't matter how high the signature campaign pays , you probably won't be earning anything much from this low rank.
Instead, you should work on getting your current account to higher rank (or you could buy one with high quality posts and join a signature campaign)
its not a good idea to buy a high ranked account just for signature campaign for op, because it will only promote spam in the forum. i suggest @op to wait for his own rank to get upgraded in a few months and then try joining a campaign with better rates. till then, focus on your post quality and dont try to be a signature whore. btw, if you want to start with a signature campaign right now, there are some that accept jr. members but the pay rates are close to null. you can earn the equivalent amount of bits from playing faucets also. just my 2 cents.
1352  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you have to get your bitcoins taxed if you sell like 220 dollars monthly? on: September 02, 2016, 02:11:41 PM
So let's say you sell 220 dollars monthly to help your family with paying bills, food and basic expenses. I am making around that monthly and I need to help at home. I have no job right now and I can't find one since my studies and I can only aim at really low paying jobs which suck so I would rather keep making money online with trading and websites. I don't make much but enough to not have to work to buy myself some stuff.

Anyway, if I sell 220 dollars worth of bitcoin every month, does this need to get taxed or the amount is so small that I don't need to report it?
lol. 220$ is a very small amount, so you dont have to worry about any government tax unless you live in a third world poor country ofcourse.  btw, i do a lot of trades every month, and i am able to make around 250-300$ each month, but i never thought of getting taxed or whatsoever. just saying. btw, it really depends upon your country's law so you should search about the tax rules of your country. good luck!
1353  Economy / Services / Re: Need an escrow fast on: August 31, 2016, 11:24:00 AM
Just pick one of trusted escrow which you can found in escrow list https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0
that list is pretty much outdated. most of the people listed in that thread either dont provide escrow services anymore or are very less active these days. so op would not be able to pick someone from that list.

What do you mean by 0.04BTC?
You need the escrow to hold funds or account?

Either ways, i would suggest if you like, to contact condoras.
He is a very trustfull guy and he escrow almost everything. I guess... Smiley
lol. if you look at op's post in that thread, then you may know that op is trying to buy an account so it is clear that he wants an escrow to hold the account for him. btw, @op, i suggest you to search yourself for a reputable and active member in this forum and hire him to act as an escrow for your deal. it is not so hard to find an escrow.
1354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When and where do you start to gamble? on: August 30, 2016, 02:04:45 PM
I want to try gambling to know how it feels like and to know what are the possibilities you may gain from playing gambling and to know how many people are crazy about it i need your help. where can i find some gambling games that are less spending's
lol gambling  makes you happy if you win and also it makes you cry if you loose a big amount ofcourse.  so you should never gamble with big amounts because it is way too risky. if you just play with some bucks for fun then it will  be fine for you . there are only two possibilities in gambling- win or loose. people often get addicted to gambling  and make their own life worst. but  if you want to play gambling just for fun then just browse this gambling section of the forum and you will get many gambling websites which are running over years.
1355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to win gambling with no lose? on: August 29, 2016, 01:57:57 PM
Hey! Good day! I really want to know the secret of how to win and not to lose because i am afraid to join the life of a gambler it might make me addicted to it if i lose. When i lose im the one who never gives up >.< im afraid to be addicted and i want to win no matter the cause  Angry Angry
by looking at the way you have posted, it seems to me that you have already headed towards becoming an addicted gambler. gambling is a type of game and you know that you cannot always win in any type of game. but still, if you want to increase your chances of winning, i suggest you to play on sports betting but again, it is not guarenteed that you will always win. personally, i suggest you to stay out of gambling if you cannot face the big losses. good luck!
1356  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: why trading volume is so low now? on: August 29, 2016, 01:35:12 PM

-snip-
what big event happened recently?
bitifinex, a big bitcoin exchange site, got hacked recently and many funds of the users were stolen. due to this, there was a big drop in the market price. the price went down as low as 530$ from 650$ or so but again bitcoin showed up its potential by slowly rising up again and now we are 570$+ which is a very good thing. but please note that bitcoin is very unpredictable so sometimes we cannot find out the reason behind the price drops. just my 2 cents!
flash crash will be arrived in next two weeks, be careful.
can you give me some ref to read and see how and why the price will crashed i just wanted to learn how to avoid big losses regarding inside btc trading, thanks in advance mate.
nobody can predict about the future price of bitcoin. so please dont listen to anybody in this matter. if anybody could predict the future price of btc then "trading" would not exist. lol.
1357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many money did you spent in gambling in a day? on: August 29, 2016, 09:45:55 AM

I follow a strict bankroll these days so my max bets aren't a lot. Something around 0.1-0.3. Can go up.

But in the past I have gambled upto 14 BTC on one bet.

14 BTC ? That would be 6-10 months salary in my country, I would have converted them to cash and enjoy a nice vacation a gift I would have gifted myself. By the way you must have a lot of money to bet that huge amount on a single bet. Hope that it ended up well on that day when you gambled 14 BTC on a single bet.
do you really think that he gambled 14 btc ? i dont believe it. also i am quite sure that he is just adding that point to get more attention to his post. nobody, even most of the rich people will never gamble that 14 btc at a time. or maybe he meant to say 0.14 btc lol.
not much because i dont have enough btc to spend only in gambling, maybe when i rich i can spare some of my money to gamble
never do so. getting rich doesnot mean to throw your money anywhere. it is good that you dont gamble because once you start gambling, you will be so addicted to it that you will not be able to stop gambling. btw, thats just my opinion.
1358  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Someone told me HASHOCEAN is coming back on: August 28, 2016, 01:53:08 PM
Many of my clients and friend are telling that hashocean is coming back, this sounds weird but even if it comes will hashocean get back its trust, will you trust again ?
who told you that they are coming back again ? do your friends have anything to convince us that they are really coming back ? btw, even if they come back people will never trust them and nobody will put a single penny on that shitty site. if they even refund back people's money, which is very unlikely, then too they will not be able to run their business. personally, i think that they may be back or they are already back  with a brand new company name. lol Cheesy
1359  Economy / Services / Re: Need Trusted Escrow on: August 28, 2016, 07:06:33 AM
Guys i need escrow, any suggestions for most trusted ? with low fee or best with no fee just positive feedback Smiley ty..
there are many escrows in this forum.  i have found these two escrows' ann thread who take less or even no fees:  SebastianJu's escrow  ann thread and  knightdk's escrow ann thread. i have heard that sebastianJu provides free escrow service but donot provide his service for lower amounts. but please note that i have not used any of these escrow services. i am just suggesting you these escrows based on other people's positive comments. btw, dont think that if a person has many positive feedbacks then he cannot scam you. always deal on your own risk and good luck!
1360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If one day BTC cannot be traded for cash, what will you do? on: August 28, 2016, 05:15:22 AM
I will spend all my bitcoins on Purse.io.

 Cheesy  Cheesy

Can you maybe explain a littel about Purse.io? it's seems to be similar to brawker (it's down btw for some time now).
purse.io is a service which allows you to buy products from amazon at  discounted rates using bitcoins. the official thread link is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=307922.0 maybe @op is talking about it. personally, i have heard many times about this site but have never tried to use it.

What would I do? probably donate to someone or some charity and simply move on. :p
lol. if bitcoin cannot be converted into fiat then obviously it will have no value in the real world usage, expect buying digital goods directly from online shops which accept btc payments, and donating something which has no value to a charity is just a waste of your time and the charity's time as well.
