342  Economy / Gambling / Re: i won over 3k on a roullete in stake.com (emotional day) on: January 20, 2023, 03:43:19 AM
yes i usually chase otherwise i feel beaten up like a loser is the worse feeling. i and you want to break anything around you.

feeling pathetic. but then i win and i felt good again.
Typical example of a gambling addiction.
I dont know should we congratulate you on your current winnings or warn you of your future ahead with this type of addiction. It doesnt seem bright enough to me. And the amount you are playing with is also quite large (atleast for a major portion of the countries in the world). Be safe mate and atleast make sure you enjoy a bit or help your family with those winnings you made today. Dont bet all in with it again. Thats all I can say!
343  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FUN][In Merit] Post Count Down To Your Next Rank Here. on: January 20, 2023, 03:11:57 AM
My Countdown to Full Member Rank
Number of Merit(s) left: 3

Thanks
You just made 2 posts after 2months and also recently got a negative trust by a DT member regarding bought/hacked account. Its going to be tough for you to grow your account in this way. I hope there is a way for you to prove you are the original owner of this account. Good luck!
344  Economy / Reputation / Re: My 10 000th post on: January 20, 2023, 02:49:36 AM
Congrats LTU_btc, you're a great poster and a super gambler (since most of your posts belong to gambling boards). You deserve a huge round of applause for not giving up, and hope to see you keep being active in the upcoming decades Smiley
I know that reaching 10 000 posts isn't something very special
What makes you think so? You are very special to the gambling community Wink
345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Genesis Bankrupt, Impact on BTC? on: January 20, 2023, 02:09:33 AM
I hodl and I don't care about this news. I don't think/hope it will bring the price down that much. The risk of selling now is too great for me. But everyone has to decide that for themselves.
Have decided to hodl as well here. The technicals are just too great on the weekly. Lets see how it develops when the news are out and also the 1st feb fomc meeting should be exciting. Cant wait Tongue

This whole BTC rally to 21K was just another bull trap. Now all the gains we got from the price will be wiped once they announce the bankruptcy officially. We are looking at going back to $17K territory.
Are you telling me to suicide ? (just kidding). Is genesis bigger than ftx?

Btw, Me watching the s&p crash since last few days but btc holding up. Not sure who is controlling who lol.

I don't think people who have a bad review on mixero would post it there because they know it will be deleted,
Although the campaign (application) thread made by Royse was self-moderated, users were never asked to post a review in that thread. Instead the reviews were posted in the mixero ann thread which is not self-moderated and there were some critical reviews too.

Also, I dont think Royse has ever deleted a useful post in his thread, whether it is against him or not?!. If he did, ppl could easily make a new thread asking for a reason. But I guess nobody has made such topics against him yet, ?!
347  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Can we sign a message with invalid address using Electrum? on: January 19, 2023, 03:22:36 AM
I used openAI, and she said this address is invalid, thanks for the reply.
Not sure what is an OpenAI and what does she do Sad
I wanted to know if signing a message with invalid address was possible or not.
If it was possible, wouldn't everyone sign a message with any address they wish to? I guess this would break all the security rules of bitcoin, lol.
So the answer is no, impossible!
348  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Can we sign a message with invalid address using Electrum? on: January 19, 2023, 02:42:59 AM
I recently searched for an address and some sources told me that my address is invalid but I was able to sign a message with that address using Electrum, if my address was invalid Electrum would have notified me right?
If you are able to sign a meassage, it means you control the private keys of that address. So how can it be invalid? Also, could you specify which source(s) are saying that your address is invalid?

111113DUwES2ZNWSJztA3oBuhzfcdmiaG

Above address is what I'm talking about.
Im able to search for this address on blockchain and blockchair explorers already. You have no balance with no transaction history, is that correct?

I suppose you are trying to import your keys in a different wallet but you could be using the wrong format hence the sources bring you invalid error?!
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Genesis Bankrupt, Impact on BTC? on: January 19, 2023, 02:32:45 AM
According to a report made by cointelegraph a few hrs ago, Genesis (a cryptocurrency lending firm) is about to file for bankruptcy as early as the upcoming week.
What would be the impact on bitcoin's price? Should we be worried and sell a part of our portfolio to buy back a bit lower after the news ? Or better hodl?
Eager to know what most of the ppl think.
Personally I didnt use genesis ever myself Tongue
350  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ucy Merit Giveaway on: January 19, 2023, 02:13:19 AM
I just noticed the merit topic was moved here. I wonder when and why .
I reported it to the mods since you didnt move the topic to the right section by yourself.

Well, I'm not too interested in the merit system, I only became more interested after reading a little bit about it.
So are you now fully interested ? Which point of the merit system generated so much interest in you suddenly that you started giving it away ? 😁 Make up your mind first Wink
351  Other / Meta / Re: My post remove without notification. on: January 18, 2023, 09:16:57 AM
Hello Everyone

1 or 2 of my posts have been removed without notice. Earlier many of my posts were removed but I got notification in my message box... But this time I didn't get any notification. Is there any special reason for this?
Are you talking about this plagiarised thread created by you? If an entire thread is deleted, you dont get notified I guess. And try to avoid spamming too much or you may also receive a temp. ban next time. I even suggested you to stop this in that (deleted) thread as well.
352  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [banned mixer] - Best Bitcoin Mixer / Tumbler on: January 18, 2023, 08:55:12 AM
Is there a tutorial for new users?
Similar to any other bitcoin mixers, enter your receiving BTC address, choose between the fees (slow=>fast), send the amount you wish to mix and thats all.
You'll get a lot of mixing guides on google/youtube. Just gotta search for it.
Btw, being a hero Im not sure why you havent tried or heard of bitcoin mixers (dont know how to use it) yet? Pretty long time in crypto.
353  Economy / Reputation / Re: Re: My ignore list and my feedbacks and is Poker Player acceptable? on: January 18, 2023, 08:29:58 AM
Can any moderator confirm that I have not deleted any PMs please?
Have you reported any PM for them to check?
Quote from hilariousandco:
No, we can't directly read PMs, just ones that are reported directly to us.

Maybe try sending PM to theymos or Cyrus, but I doubt anyone will be interested in your case. High chances they wont even reply Tongue
354  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: .JSON file vs zpub in Electrum on: January 18, 2023, 06:12:26 AM
Oh cool. Is there any specification for this particular wallet format?
I have not tried it personally but in this video[1] they have successfully shown how to import a .json file into electrum. Its pretty old one but maybe still valid with the current (newer) versions?!

355  Other / Meta / Re: How many forum members do you know by real name? on: January 18, 2023, 04:01:55 AM
I am a new member in the forum so I don't know the real name. I still don't know the real name of any user. Because the forum has never had such a good relationship with anyone. But hopefully since I am a regular active member of the forum I will probably meet many members.
If you go by the Investigations sub-section of this forum, Im sure you will get to know some of the real names of the users here, how does it sound ? Wink

Btw, @OP, what are we going to do by knowing the names ? I wish I could change my name with my mood everyday, lol.
356  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc get to $12k or $10k on: January 18, 2023, 03:46:40 AM
Bitcoin returned to the 200-day average at 21K$,
The 200-day moving average is at 19.5k approx right now, not 21k$,

and we notice a strong resistance here on the 4-hour chart, and we notice an average of 8 candles hitting the resistance strength here.
21k is acting as support not resistance, actual resistance is 21.5k right now.
We didnt fell under 21k yesterday even when the US stocks were falling pretty hard (especially the dow jones index).
We are a couple of weeks away from the next fomc meeting, expecting more hot rally ahead! We are in for some exciting months ahead.
357  Other / Meta / Re: What kind of links you like? on: January 17, 2023, 02:05:22 PM
What is going on your head? This topic was first, then you have another one, then another one!

Trying to be an attention seeker or maybe he is just too much free today. I dont think we should even care to reply to such topics lol.
@OP, why not play some card games instead Tongue
358  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ucy Merit Giveaway on: January 17, 2023, 01:32:34 PM
Incase you have posts that are merit-able and of good quality let me know by posting the links to the post here and I will merit them..
Be sure to reciprocate the kind gesture if you have some merit to give away.
Firstly, you made this topic in the wrong board.
Secondly, you can't just giveaway your sMerits to someone and ask them to give you merits back in return, its not a great idea and you may even get neutral/red feedback from users as a "merit farmer".
Thirdly, I think you are not a merit source to provide enough  merits to good posters yet.

Like can one just beg for merit
There is already one legal begging thread in the reputation board and thats enough Wink

359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: What percent of your portfolio is stored in Bitcoin/Crypto on: January 17, 2023, 12:45:33 PM
I think it is still risky to store your wealth on BTC,
Its riskier to put your wealth in fiat, its value depreciates more in your bank.

I think that after the pow<->pos movement of ETH its demand is likely to have more.
Also, eth has become a true deflationary asset after the pos merge. Its best to have a eth and btc combo into your portfolio. However I believe its value is a bit overpriced right now compared against btc. ETH/BTC pair should fall to like 0.05-0.04 before moving up Wink
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help with P2PKH (starts with "1") address is supported for BTC on: January 17, 2023, 03:44:48 AM
As nc50lc already suggested, you could go for electrum (on desktop).
However in case of mobile wallet, I'd vouch for mycelium here. Its better than electrum in my view.
You can create all types (P2PKH, P2SH, bech32) of addresses controlled via a single private key as shown below in the screenshot. Just click on key icon in the app => Advanced & more => Generate BTC SA account, and you'll get it.
