1361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin STILL Good Investment? (Think Again) on: November 19, 2019, 12:26:16 PM
This video makes the case why Bitcoin is in my opinion not only a good investment but the best investment you can make.

If you have already made up your why the topic with such a question tag. Bitcoin and few top coin in the coinmarket have small risk in investment. The worst you can see is 1335 days before you make profit in bitcoin. It has the liquidity, community and volume, though it may not have the use case one will expect from new crypto but it a reliable asset. It is suggested that 35 bitcoin Hold at this time is good decision for retirement plan.
1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what are the best altcoin which gives 2x profit in 1year on: November 19, 2019, 12:19:56 PM
When such thread open like this, you are most likely open yourself to deception and opinion that could be sentimental. The sentiment on altcoin is generally not good and dumper can introduce their project to you. You will always need to do your own research, if you dont know how to do then learn. Opening threads that give idea on how to do your own research will be more beneficial than requesting for this advice. After a thread with over 500 post with different suggestion you will get more confused, have seen this over and over here.
1363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prove that you shouldn't rely on icobench and others on: November 18, 2019, 10:33:59 PM
THis year exposed most of the atrocities from the ICO rating sites. SEC had been going after some of them that even have personnel in the USA. There are revelation of how they collect fund and have allocation of token from projects. Also, their so called rating professionals are influenced financially and even provide some advice on deceptive strategies to sway investors. They neglect good projects even with proves of authenticity and credibility and flood their website with so many scam project with bloated ratings. Some will delete scam project on early notice  and try to dissociate from them whereas they were instrumental to the advertisement
1364  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Trading competition good way to earn money? on: November 18, 2019, 08:52:11 PM
What do you mean by trading competitions? Getting ahead over the others by range of profit? Well it is good in a sense of you'll be forced to do exert your full effort and knowledge in trading. Though the risk in it is that it would be quite tough to monitor and minimize your loss 'cause you're been set to maximize on what you can do in such competition.

it means the typical trading competition launch by exchange whenever there is a new token listing. This competition requires a trading volume is able to win. You must consider first that this competition is design for whale traders so if you are a small-time trader then don't waste time and effort to participate because whales will just trade there balance back and forth to their second wallet to sustain huge trading volume during the competition while minimizing their expenses on trading fees. Most of the competition consider only the trading volume and not the profit range. That's the sad part on this one-sided tournament of exchanges
he didn't mean the question cause his later response doesn't look like he doesn't know what trade competition means.

I have never tried trading competition but this expository thread does not encourage getting involved at all, it looks more of wash trade. It is advisable to avoid it and not profitable to a large percentage of those involved especially those that were not involved in the private sale or seed.
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: How can i earn a lot of referral? on: November 18, 2019, 08:24:17 PM
If you want your get more referrals without any investment then you have to build good social media marketing campaigns but now days we can't  get good results.

If you are ready to invest for getting referrals then  you can run a campaign like someone registered under you then you have pay some money for them, there are lots of websites giving services like that you can try them sure it will give good results to you.
He should understand that real members takes time to accrue and fake members/followers  wont fetch him good response to get good number to reach his referrel link. A presence in the social media is great work and very demanding, it require regularity of updates that are relevant and informative. Reward could be added in kinds periodically to attract interest and attention.
1366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An investor lost $24 million worth of bitcoin on: November 18, 2019, 08:17:27 PM
The OP didnt nail the subject of its message, what is to be learnt from the article? How to prevent such loss for every post reader. It is up to 2 years of the loss and posted article, so its not as new. Any new member or investor must understand the need to know how to protect his portfolio before the need to make profit. It could be a risky misplaced of priority for any member that is entering the space at the moment, sadly everyone is vulnerable to this
1367  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: November 18, 2019, 08:07:03 PM
In coming months the strategy for investment might change with more trust worthy process that will contain project teams on handling fund. Apart from the proposed DAICO from vitalik, that might be adopted soon. Countries will introduce process on accrediting crowdfund and disbursement of fund raised in projects development. It is important at this time in cryptocurrency when bulls are expected to return in the market and more investors coming to the space, that the sentiment is positive and confidence is improved for everyone and new projects.

I’m very optimistic that BAKKT’s pump could possibly contribute to most awaited bullrun, the news are very timely that triggers positive sentiment among traders. If we can have a healthy market until the end of the year then its a good sign hoping it will pull the altcoin prices too.

One thing is guarantee. Bitcoin price will pump until halving. Bakkt showing some really juicy volume compared to the volume in there opening. But sadly, Altcoin future is not guarantee with Bakkt volume improvement since Bakkt offering BTC contract and investors there can't used that BTC to buy altcoins. We need bitcoin ETF to be approved so that institutional investors can enter large amount of money and BTC that can be use to buy altcoins.
I was also wondering how did we get to altcoins from Bakkt, even bitcoin, for now is not enjoying a smooth cruise on the platform. Its a start any way and 2020 could bring more coins. ETF may never be approved for bitcoin in a long while maybe some stable coins in the nearest future could get their approval.
1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to get back into mining? on: November 05, 2019, 08:00:18 PM
in my opinion it is very difficult to mine like bitcoin, because the supply is decreasing every day and mining results are also decreasing. only large mining companies are able to generate profits from mining. maybe if in 2013 it was very profitable to mine bitcoin, even though it only had 6 GPUs. for now I think altcoin mining is more profitable for small mining, choose altcoin which has the potential for the future and produce it later in my opinion. Smiley
Also consider that it will get smaller after the halving which means if you can afford the cost of mining now and hodl , it will be profitable in few month if you dont sell off like most miners do. How many altcoins are profitable as bitcoin? more focus are not going into coin which are mainly for trade/ exchange.
Gone are the days where you would be profitable on mining btc with GPU.Technically its possible but profitability? Its far from reality.
Getting back to mining would always depend on your own discretion but you should always reconsider out things like profitability and if you do see
that its useless to do so then why would bother to continue? If you are doing it just for a hobby then go on but for money making then better just
simply buy bitcoin and top alts then hold for long term which is more practical to do so.

I think bitcoin mining is only worth when the price of bitcoin reach 30k USD or more. After the halving the difficulty of bitcoin mining would be higher and i think if the price of bitcoin is still under 20k, no one will mine them anymore and moving to any other alts to grow. But i'm sure the demand of bitcoins will increase the moment after the halving and we have to prepare for that time by buying btc as much as we can
Sometimes I got confused with miners use of profit, they complained on profit when it was $1000+ at 2017 long after the halving, they are still complaining of profit at $9000 when they mine the same quantity in a day, maybe we have more miner or cost of electricity had increased in the same margin
1371  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yet another analyst on: November 05, 2019, 09:59:51 AM
Far too many seem to be expecting a bullish movement, but the last week was mostly losing on the price (which is obviously normal after the jump we had one week ago).

I actually sense a healthy amount of pessimism. Plenty of people are calling last week's move "just a short squeeze" and are still planning on buying in the $5,000s or $6,000s.

It's true that open shorts got chopped in half and aren't recovering (at least on Bitfinex) but the more important factor is the price action. The market isn't bleeding straight back down as usually happens in bear market short squeezes. Any dips into the $8,000s were quickly bought. We're flagging well above the 0.5 retrace level a week later. Bears are sweating, for good reason.
If we dont see $6000 this November, we might likely not see it again this year. It is likely to dump by January but not as low to $6000 before another rally toward the halving month. if not for the china impoved regulation we could be around $6000 but since we have overcome that, I dont see the dump again. It is advisable to buy around $7000-$9000 if we saw it lower.

1373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: November 04, 2019, 07:58:58 PM
The trust in the project matters, 8 week might be long with lots of dilution and worse when the project is not planning to give any reward. Most project recently are extending their campaign because investors are reluctant to put money. all the tactics to get funds had been exhausted and they rarely get funding. I had a bounty for 6 months and at the end the project failed, so the focus is the project's ability to raise enough fund and get on exchange.

ERC 20 is trading on bitmax and Idex but the volume on idex is low. Binance Dex trade the BEP token

Is there any official way to convert BEP-2 tokens to ERC tokens yet? If yes then can you please share the link to the bridge. Tried searching it google but no joy.

Thanks

Hello. Can you advice, who I should turn to with my problem. I have more than 5000 FRM tokens on my erc wallet, that is bound to community.ferrum.network. As I understand correctly, I should be participating in social mining, but on the dashboard, it is shown, that I have only about 2300 FRM tokens (october bounty reward).

What should I do and who I can turn to to increase the number of FRM tokens on my balance. Because somehow they doesnt increase automatically.

1376  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Possible Scam Warning on: November 03, 2019, 07:03:56 PM
I dont understand the idea behind that scam and dont know how people fall for it. If they want to send the fund let them send, this an anonymous space. Why would they not want to use exchange or engage escrow, they cant pay much to escrow. Besides lately I barely see any recommendation for escrow, are they also engaged in scam?
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ferrum Network | BITMAX | DAG Interperability Network | Fin-Tech Apps on: November 02, 2019, 08:42:43 PM
As I see FRM token is trading on Binance Dex and on Bitmax. What type of token is trading on Bitmax? BEP 5 token or ERC token? As I remember they have 2 types of tokens...

1378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: November 02, 2019, 01:06:33 PM
Don't.

This is not the place to learn trading. To be honest, can't even see how anyone coming in here for the first time and landing on this trading thread can think this is the place to come and learn.

Sharing, looking for opinion and sentiment, yeah. Discussions on Trading aren't very useful here (actually better TA can be found in Speculation).

Take your 5 hours elsewhere, seriously. Just look at the responses to your question and please tell me you agree.

As a result of this I have dedicated 5 - hours daily to learn about crypto tradibg here in the forum

I also dont understand what he means, where is he getting taught and by who? which thread if he can share?
