1381  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashnest 's newest PACMiC Cloud Mining Contract on: March 19, 2015, 03:35:17 PM
Not sure to understand the purpose of that.
I buy a contract and the contract end when the capital have been paid back.
So I buy a contract for 1 BTC and at they end I receive only 1 BTC. No profit??

Not sure to understand. Im sure I'm missing something but will like to understand.

Thanks

Keep innovating Bitmain!
1382  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Review of Avalon-4.1 on: March 18, 2015, 02:24:45 PM
My third miner is due to arrive today. I will attempt to use it with my other two. I also think if I clock them at about 800gh each for a total of 2.4th
I can run all three on my evga 1600 p2 plat psu.

This  should use a little bit more then 1250 watts. Run dead quiet. I hope to post some photos later today.

Can wait to see that setup! Im also looking to get more Avalon  Grin

Could you give me your setup for 800gh and around 400watt I guess.

Best and easiest solution, don't jump into mining without a bit of knowledge. I would personally buy a cheap older miner to get used to it, maybe an s3 and put the rest DIRECTLY into btc.

+1

You should check how mining work first. Investing in a big device like that for the first miner is a really bad idea.
Over that, KNC seems to have a lot of problem with fire.

I will suggest , S5 from bitmain, SP20 from spondoolie or Avalon 4.1 from Ehash.com

These are better watt/gh miner and you will earn more with them.

Also, you should maybe wait since the ext gen should arrive soon (hope so)

You could also look for a SP31 or SP35 from spondoolie if you have 240V

1390  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: how much bitcoin incoming in per month ? on: March 16, 2015, 05:52:06 PM
I have around 3 th and I paid a fix price for electricity (+ solar) So right now im doing fine but like evryone said before mining for home miner is now almost useless, unless you have very cheap electricity.

Im wondering what will happen if all the hashpower get split between 5 or 6 big farm ?

1392  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: where can i buy a Bitcoin miner on: March 16, 2015, 12:51:51 PM
Not really. We still doesnt know any could mining that is perfectly legal and legit. (Maybe hashnest from bitmain or genesis from Spondoolies)

My opinion on clound mining is that you will never ROI using cloud mining. If you want to have some BTC you should then buy some. However if you want to be part of the network and mine some, then I suggest you buy a small miner to start and learn. You will then be able to make your own calculation and buy the best miner for you.

You will receive a ot of advice here but the best one is make your own calculation.  Wink
1393  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: where can i buy a Bitcoin miner on: March 16, 2015, 12:31:34 PM
on many sites I should order in large numbers but I only want 1 or 2 miners..BTCBTC
Grin amazon.com provides BTC miners

NO NO and NO.  Don't buy on Amazon or Ebay, you will pay way too much.

Check here on the market section for a used btc miner. Like Hazir said, you need to understand that ROI is currently really hard to get. Except if you have a really good electricity price.

Check for a S5, a SP20 or a Avalon4.1 they are the best miners right now.

Crazyates is a well know legendary member. Im sure there is a reason why he is not answering. His profile show the last activity to be the 4 of march. Wait a little bit more to see what is happening.

Hope he is still in the game.

What is the white large hose doing behind the S5? Exhausting the hot air? The stock fan on the S5 keeps it cool without any additional fans. Maybe overclocking?

Its fresh air from outside to keep the fan as low as possible for the sound. The S5 is in my livingroom with 2 delta fan. They run at about 2000rpm.
