He bought from Darknet. To buy $ 1,000 cheaper than the market.
Looking at the current price, it was not necessary to go to dark net ;-) Anyway - do you know the person you gave your money? Your (maybe former) friend? How you gave him money - bank transfer? Cash? Because if he said that he already made the transaction, he had to pay somehow. Do you have any proof the transaction was made? If he has coins under any address, this information is public, he should be able to show it. Or the problem is that coins are on his account in exchange and he cannot withdraw them? May he clarify what is the problem?

What surprises me is that recently more and more people from the lottery top 10 have relatively small amounts of tickets. We may say that this week results were "fair" because winner had really huge amount of tickets, but the rest... I do not know what to think about it. Some people just had a luck By the way I wonder what % of users disabled lottery tickets from free Rolls.

It almost sounded intentional to me. Like: 'I remember I purposely put in a wrong 4th word & memorized it' (and obviously then forgot it). Some people do these kind of weird things, overestimating their long-time memory in an attempt to increase their security.
In high school I had a friend who asked for his phone number was saying digits and when other person wrote them down, he was adding "and one is wrong". So yes, I think it was a way of 'securing' the seed. I only wonder if seed with replaced word still validates (if checksum is correct), I think chances are small.

A rabin na to: zaproś do was teściową, niech zamieszka z wami. A rabin: masz kozę? To wprowadź ją do domu, zrób jej posłanie, niech z wami mieszka. Po tygodniu przychodzi Żyd i mówi: - Oj Rabbi, coż to teraz się dzieje, nasrane wszędzie, meble ogryzione, Rabbi ja oszaleję, przecież miało być lepiej. A rabin: to teraz odpraw teściową i kozę.

Could tell us more which router do you have? Which model, maybe from which ISP? Are you connected directly to network (via router) or you a part of network managed by someone (like network in students house or sth)? Do you have fixed external IP or is it dynamic? Is it possible to try other way of connecting to Internet? For example if you have wifi card to connect to hotspot created by your phone?

Legia Warszawa was not able to win with Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza (this time I will not comment on their name). After terrible game, the final result 0:0 does not satisfy any of the teams. Bruk-Bet stays at 18th place, Legia at 17th (yes, there are 18 teams in total).
Whatever may go wrong, it does.

Page https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ (legit) or it's offline version (to be downloaded) will print addresses generated from the given seed, for any coin. You may check what will be produced using different derivation paths. Wallets like Electrum verifies different derivation paths and when you restore wallet from the seed it proposes path to use.

Hey, You may check my program: https://github.com/PawelGorny/lostwordWhat you need, is to configure it for worker "KNOWN_POSITION". See examples how it should be configured. I do not exactly understand what is your problem - I mean, do you know position of wrong word? Or not? then You should launch program 12 times... It would work if you know your address (on any derivation path). If not, and you are sure that 4th word is incorrect, you may use worker 'PRINT_SEEDS' which will give you all the correct seeds. For 12 words it should give 128 seeds to check. Let me know if you need any other help.

Exactly. But what happens when you try to launch a precompiled ‘arm’ version from bitcoin download site?
|

What is your kernel? What is the output of ? As they said: ( https://ispltd.org/desktops:arch_on_raspberry_pi4) Raspberry Pi 4 uses an ARMv7 processor according to its /proc/cpuinfo file, although Wikipedia says that it is an ARM Cortex A72, which is an ARMv8 model. The v7 architecture is 32-bit architecture while the v8 is 64-bit. I don't know why they mix these two architectures, but presume that the 32-bit code can run on a 64-bit chip and point out my observations here for your awareness. If you have indeed 32bit OS, would it be possible to change it? https://downloads.raspberrypi.org/raspios_arm64/images/

Don't buy a printer on Bitcointak, buy it on Craigslist. That makes a targeted attack much less likely.
You should know that most printers have coded tracking dots that prints invisible Machine Identification Codes with time, date and printer serial number on paper, with who knows what else to track what you print. If you are interested in that subject, maybe you should check that program: https://github.com/dfd-tud/dedaDeveloped by scientists from Dresden, allows you to detect and modify/remove yellow dots. Or just read a data encoded. By the way, do you know story of Reality Winner? Yep, dots.

Incredible idea! To add a GSM module into old printer, change firmware and start selling it bitcoin forums. Then transmit to a given server the content of suspected prints. Fantastic, let’s do it. How we would call our start-up?
By the way, maybe saving seed as a QRcode could be a partial solution for missing parts?

I guess so because His program can utilise Multiple GPUs where as bitcrack can only use 1 at a time. And for the guy posing the WIFsolver CUDA does it work with multiple GPUs.
You may always split the work. The same with BitCrack. There is even option to use the specified part of given range - so you may launch 8 instances with the same configuration and then specify for each device to process 1/8, 2/8, 7/8 of the range... I think I will add something like that to my program, good idea.

Recently I was contacted by someone who lost part of his WIF because of gun oil in safe lock... So, you never know.

BTW if you want to buy 512GB internal SSD, I have one for sale ;-)
Sorry, but this unexpected help I've got blew your business (However, I guess that I would have been buying from inside my country anyway if it would have been the case.) I still cannot install plyvel, maybe I should install older python (now I have 3.10). Or I will try the solution with docker, is sounds really good.

It's an undersized Windows partition I am afraid to make bigger (or even join) because MS decided to make a recovery partition between my two useful ones from the (rather small) SSD.
I had similar issue recently, when I installed the image from smaller disk to bigger one. It created an empty space which I converted into partition, unfortunately after some time I realized it is too small for me, so I had to move the content into external drive, remove partition, move recovery partition to the end of disk, resize the base partition. Now I have one big, which has it's pros and cons. BTW if you want to buy 512GB internal SSD, I have one for sale ;-)
