Leicester is playing for survival, win over Liverpool would give them easier last round against Newcastle

I would say the chances of Arsenal to win the league title now stiill is more plausible than Leicester City get 3 points tonight, at least that's how I feel about it, ngl... Liverpool might not be an entirely convincing team but, this should be an easy one to win for the them.

hopefully you got it right, and Leicester will lose tonight, although everything except their win is acceptable (would like to see them losing, I prefer Liverpool to Newcastle in CL)
it is a rough fight for survival in EPL, Forest improved their position a lot in last two rounds, and Everton, Leeds and Leicester will sort two positions as it now looks

Leicester has one win in last 13 EPL matches, hoping to stay on that until the season end

Yes, that's what happened. Liverpool managed to score two beautiful goals in the first half of the match by Stoner and Salah, but VAR intervened and denied Stoner his second goal. I think the match is open to more goals in the second half. Liverpool needs to win the remaining matches to secure a spot in the Champions League. Newcastle faces a tough challenge against Chelsea and Brighton.
Was hoping for more goals as they only had 1 goal in the second half with Salah missing an open shot late in the match.
They are looking in good form but so late into the season all they can hope to accomplish is to secure UEFA champions league now.
Chelsea received a new manager with Mauricio Pochettino joining the club announced earlier yesterday.
They have both the Manchester sides and Newcastle as you had mentioned in their remaining matches to close out the season.
And it has been a very disappointing one for The Blue Lions. I don't see them receiving even a point in those three.

Seems that their customers are still up in arms about the tweet sent out as a form of damage control.
There are some who have created a movement on twitter about it and some creating songs which are rather entertaining:

@Kakmakr
Of course he was joking around just because he was livestreaming to his stake audience who play on the site.
But I very much doubt he was fooling around about the monthly bonus being leaked because he was still talking about it half an hour later into the stream.
Even if the $5000 bounty was just for the lulz he could still be obligated to pay it, since they give away $5000 to 15 players from each of the two sites(com & US) everyweek during the raffles for the megarace. Grin
1385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: May 14, 2023, 11:36:39 AM
Didn't realize his UFC event started so early on this Saturday.
According to the markets I am looking at, the very first bout Jessica-Rose Clark vs Tainara Lisboa is within the next 2 hours.
Didn't even have time to put in my bets yet.
Don't make the same mistake and put in your selections early here:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/mma/ufc/ufc-fight-night-rozenstruik-vs-almeida/matches
Actually, it was really so early that just like you I totally missed it aswell, didn't realize that the fight was already starting, and since I was busy with the wedding my brother the time just passed that I didn't notice I fell asleep because I got home so very tired already,
But Well at least I got to see the recap of the fight so that was really OK with me anyway here are the result of my full picks for the UFC on ABC 4: Rozenstruik vs. Almeida event
MAIN EVENT
Jairzinho Rozenstruik VS Jailton Almeida - WIN
CO-MAIN EVENT
Anthony Smith VS Johnny Walker - WIN
MAIN CARD
Daniel Rodriguez VS Ian Machado Garry - WIN
Carlos Ulberg VS Ihor Potieria - WIN
Tim Means VS Alex Morono - WIN
PRELIMINARY CARD
Matt Brown VS Court McGee - LOST
Karl Williams VS Chase Sherman - WIN
Cody Stamann VS Douglas Silva de Andrade - LOST
Ji Yeon Kim VS Mandy Böhm - LOST
Gabe Green VS Bryan Battle - LOST
Jessica-Rose Clark VS Tainara Lisboa - LOST
Wow!
You had all the bouts in the main card correctly picked. Only the messed up prelims at the very start were your downfall in predicting the right outcome of those matches.
The very first fight which was very early in the day started with referee taking points away from the fighters.
The next one which was drowned in controversy was the Ji Yeon Kim fight. Where she kicked off her opponent who didn't want to let her get up so she could go to her corner to sit on the stool. The referee delayed until the beginning of the next round in deciding to deduct a point. This made her corner go mad. Then while the next round was in progress Kim threw a knee to the head of Bohm's temple while see was down. Which is illegal. So that was another point deduction.
I missed some of the other bouts in the prelims but that is how it began, with illegal moves.

Jailton Almeida's win was a nice submission move after Jairzinho Rozenstruik tried to get out of the mounted position but exposed his back. This is where Almeida finished him in the rear choke hold.
Done in the first round and a clean fight, which was different from the start of this event.

While watching the megarace livestream currently still in progress, Eddie mentioned something about the Monthly link being leaked before they wanted to release it, which is never released the same day as the weekly is right before the megarace.

Think I heard him saying they will be offering a $5000 reward for finding out who leaked it when they didn't want it sent out to all players yet.
This could only be done by an internal employee who has access to this kind of information.
Only the one who used it first would know who it was.
Correct?

stop believing the fake market cap and volume numbers

if i shuffled a bunch of bank notes from my own left hand to my own right hand. i can shw that $1m passed between my hands even if there are only $1000 in total

the MEME MARKET IS FAKE. its the creators selling to themselves to fix/rig/fake a price hoping idiots later on buy from them ..
Then why does Coinbase seem obligated to appease the masses by putting out such a statement?
Only after #DeleteCoinbase started trending of course.
They fear that the largest exchange in the United States will lose all the credibility of the crypto users in their marketed sector. That being the North American marketbase. They advertised for the Superbowl with just a QR code so to get a small amount of bitcoin to start millions of cryptocurrency customer accounts on their platform.
And it worked for them.

Yes chains do this to create fake transaction numbers like rogers coin and litecoin to make it look like people use their chains, they just send to their own addresses.

I would not be surprised if there is people spamming bitcoin dust as well to make it look more active, In recent years I have heard no 1 talk about bitcoin in person, it was a 2012-2017 fad.

Did I not get you to agree time coins are the better currency back in the day, well I have theory crafted something better, no currency and bots just do the work because AI is going to replace all the jobs anyways and currency is futile and promotes death and war.

Hence why the usage of the word gamble was used with the previous statement about this token.
If it weren't on the same blockchain as bitcoin, all the maximalists wouldn't be so up in arms about just another sh*tcoin.
And will just wait until it dies off like so many other of those who were made for just such a purpose: pump and dump ponzi scheme.

Yet Dogecoin is in the exact same category as this one and is still being traded to this day.
The difference why there is not so much ire for it from those bitcoin maximalists is because it is not on the same blockchain.
It was a fork off of the litecoin network. So less of a direct connection to their beloved bitcoin.

But the reason for this topic are these ones are on the BRC-20 blockchain a fork off the BTC network.

Seems that Coinbase has backtracked on what they said and had apologized via a tweet to all their customers on what was stated in their latest newsletter:
"We screwed up and we are sorry. Yesterday we shared an overview of the $pepe meme coin to provide a fact-based picture of a trending topic. This did not provide the whole picture of the history of the meme and we apologize to the community."
10:51 AM · May 11, 2023 2M Views

One of the responses from a customer that is pretty spot on of why they redacted their stance:
"Translation: We’ve secured our position on the dip and are ready to list it shortly"
11:56 AM · May 11, 2023 759 Views

The gamble hadn't paid off for those who invested in pepe since it has receeded back down to levels before the huge pump last week.

What the f)(k was this two matches?

Fulham Leicester 5-3 but in the reality Fulham was never on troubles in term on result. But 8 goals its a lot.

And........ Brigthon??? What the fuck they do? i dont see the game, but also in the stats they were dominant, Everton only shoot and cross midfield like 5 times and scores 5 goals? sriously? how this can happen? Well yes Football.

Big points for everton and Bye bye to the UCL dream to Brighton.

For the pool..... how nobody have the guts to put a everton 5-1 win?   Rdbase where are you? And sojourner most know as buwaytress?
Even with my high scoring predictions wouldn't in my wildest dreams would of seen that happening with Everton.
I actually had modest scores last week but for this week I have gone back to putting in some high scoring ones.
Arsenal 6 goals happening you watch and witness!
They want to close that 1 point margin between them and Manchester City this weekend.

Had the token price surge over 5000% as of the time of this post. Which was released on May 9th.
Hadn't heard of this token before and just found out they were based on the NFT movement after the media outlets had caught on to the story of this recent surge in price of the latest meme coin phenomenon.

Not too sure if this new token is connected to another project of a similar name.

After watching this little preview video from the UFC, I have a higher admiration for Almeida now.
Rozenstruik vs Almeida - Victory in Sight | UFC Charlotte
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kObD6_uAiXA

I see Rozenstruik's fighting style more like the black beast derrick lewis.
Where he lunges whenever he throws a forward punch.
This is a dangerous way to fight with a wrestler like Almeida is where he can look for the tell tale signs of when he is about to shoot that forward motion and quickly counter it with a takedown, then it is all over.

@owengtam09
Very nice layout for the media day coverage. Thanks for this and looking forward to the weigh-ins and the press conference happening later on today.

Well, I think that for a moment I felt in the fashion section of F1, actors, etc.   Smiley

Anyway, is true... !? the story that Say; Taylor Swift and Fernando Alonso are dating or know each other... Or is it pure Formula 1 gossip.

Btw the real novel novella is lived by Checo and Verstappen, I don't think there is as much friendship as they want the fans to believe.
F1 since Miami has become just that, a novella.
I think that is what they call them in Spanish speaking countries.
Here we call things like that, Soap Operas since it is a neverending story of drama which takes away from what things are really about. And this is the racing. Grin

Think even they got something on Tom Cruise too. They found out somehow he sent Shakira some flowers after the race. It was in the United States and in Miami where alot of celebrities making it their hotspot to be seen in public.

Of course media outlets are going to run with this and come up saying they are a thing now.
https://www.thedailybeast.com/tom-cruise-and-shakira-dating-rumors-take-internet-by-storm

But of course they were just baseless rumors.
https://www.elle.com/culture/celebrities/a43855469/shakira-no-interest-dating-tom-cruise-reaction
https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/shakira-has-no-interest-in-dating-tom-cruise-after-f1-hangout

Well what else are F1 fans going to talk about with a weekend of no racing?
Might as well have some fun and run with it, am I right?  Cheesy

1398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Coinbase on the defensive about these bitcoin ordinal centralized meme coins on: May 11, 2023, 11:17:36 AM
With the BRC-20 tokens taking up the majority of the block size on transactions sent to the bitcoin blockchain in the past three weeks causing chaos and having users of bitcoin paying enormous fees, one of the first exchanges in the US have had enough.
They sent their customer base newsletter out in an email late yesterday about a certain token known as pepe.
The email entails and describing the Pepe meme as a hate symbol co-opted by alt-right groups has drawn significant ire from the PEPE memecoin community.
source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/coinbase-calls-pepe-a-hate-symbol-prompting-calls-to-boycott-the-exchange
Only 24 hours ago the pepecoin backers with the community on twitter were asking Coinbase to list the BRC-20 token on their exchange with screen captures of the symbol on their own webpage, either real or photoshopped on several of crypto influencers twitter feeds.
But now they are all up in arms against the American exchange with these mass emails being sent out with no hope in sight for their beloved green frogfaced meme which was created back in 2005 and made the rounds on huge online media sites such as reddit and 4chan.
https://www.coindesk.com/business/2023/05/11/coinbase-newsletter-flags-rise-of-pepecoin-and-brc-20-tokens-irks-crypto-twitter

Since then, there was some news about pepe & memecoins topping Coinbase in trading volume just today.
Uniswap Volume Leapfrogs Coinbase Thanks to Pepe and Meme Coins
https://decrypt.co/139594/uniswap-volume-leapfrogs-coinbase-pepe-meme-coins
"Uniswap still looks to be slightly ahead of Coinbase, with $1.2 billion volume compared to the San Francisco-based exchange’s $948 million."

Very interesting how these tokens which have no utility or intrinsic value except to the one's holding it, has up ended the king of all crypto and has caused a flurry of problems for the over 14 year cryptocurrency.

I vote that we should stop the ordinals. Id even vote to move their rotten, useless transactions onto a side chain if that was possible, but I don't see how that could be done.
Move it via a soft fork as someone suggested on the multiple discussions about this since it's inception.
Something such as a pepe or a dogechain.
Saylor on a podcast earlier today didn't help much in keeping the blockchain ordinal-free either.
