Hi Guys,

I've added TigerCoin as a supported coin on cryptopool.co.uk.

http://tgc.cryptopool.co.uk

Anyone with a previous account may be able to login, others will need to register.

Pool stats:

- World renowned stability and speed
- 2% fee
- VARDIFF + Fixed Diff support (great for small and big hashers).
- Automatic Payouts
- Manual Payouts
- Prop Payout.
- Great stats.

http://tgc.cryptopool.co.uk

Join the fun. Running around 1 TH/s now... but hoping to get that up by the end of today.

Happy Hashing!

backup pool, thanks

1383  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Neptune Second Batch on: January 01, 2014, 04:25:32 AM
Buying a neptune now is a bad idea, hasfast, conterra, bitman.ch are about to increase the hashrate dramatically

I actually got 50 Blue Fury and 2 KNC 670GH/s Jupiters, and I have pre-order a Neptune. I also have order the Avalon 200GH/s MH200 miner, which will arrive next week.

From the 2 Jupiters, I made the ROI within a few days. Then I got enough Bitcoins to pre-order a Neptune, and also buy the Avalon miner.

The game I am playing is, use the Bitcoin I make to get more hashing power.

smart move.

When will the website be up approximatively ?

The site would have been up today.....but my team seems to think they have a life sometimes and want to visit with family or go drinking on new years. I keep explaining to them that this is not the case, but sometimes my slaves happy team members do not follow those directions.

time to crack that whip.

when I used to work in the oil and gas, there was something called Work Life balance.
1387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The collective Mastercoin-explorer, Mastercoin-ruby and Mastercoin-wallet topic on: January 01, 2014, 03:37:05 AM
Hey guys,

I've been mostly AFK these past two weeks but I'm back.

For those on (x/l/k)Ubuntu 13.10 (and perhaps 13.04) I made a script that should hopefully help you install the wallet but I require some testers.

Code:
sudo apt-get -y install curl
curl -L https://gist.github.com/maran/8182379/raw/7309391a1e2341ff9f0cb1ae6603e8006cb891cc/install.sh | bash

This should install the dependencies, install rvm, install ruby-2.1 and install the wallet software.

I developed it on a Xubuntu 13.10 version and it works there.

Please let me know.

currently on Ubuntu 12.10, but will download the new ISO and test it out. thanks

I don't see the blocks updating. Is it still under DDOS attack?

Can someone explain why peercoin is surging on coinmarketcap.com while NXT is not?  LOL, how can people invest into rubbish like peercoin and Quark?

I don't think Peercoin (PPC) is rubbish. It's a POW/POS coin and you get 1% interest per year.

Does anyone else like this little downtime we've been having.....feels like the calm before the storm.

no wonder the blocks have been stuck for almost 11 hours:

If all BTC is here ,that is 21million,and NXT is 1billion, so the biggest exchange for them is :1NXT=0.021BTC.
Is my  cognition right?

The decimal place is arbitrary. Technically because 1 Bitcoin is divisible to 8 decimal places there are in fact 21 Million x 10^8 individual usable Bitcoin tokens. There are only 1 Billion usable NXT tokens currently because each 1 NXT token is not currently divisible.

So that is 2,100,000,000,000,000 or 2.1 Quadrillion Bitcoin versus 1 Billion NXT.

So 1 NXT could be worth 2,100,000 BTC by your logic. Great!

You guys, don't dream too much, it's not healthy Smiley

dreaming is good. I beg to differ. happy new year guys...

Looks like the Bitmine.ch folks are in China to get the packaged IC chips.

Now hoping for a fast delivery!

Hashfast is shipping end of the month.
Cointerra has the wafers but has not yet packaged the chips.
Bitmain is shipping 55 mm avalon systems.   They are now all over eBay.

I thought there's a big Hashfast drama:

1399  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Bitmain AntMiner U1 Tips & Tricks on: December 30, 2013, 01:19:25 PM
Please feel free to share any tips and tricks related to the AntMiner U1 USB!

I was having issues getting more than 1 USB to run at a time - tip from iluvspcs/BTCjoe
IMO the drivers from AntMan on the github for cgminer works, but it needs some tweaking.  I shipped a unit to a developer who works on a few of the builds for CG and BFG miner software for his input.  BTCjoe sent this over to get multiples working - here's his trick:

With CGminer is running, add one in and then use Zadig to reinstall the driver for the one you just added.   You kind of have to keep an eye on which one just popped up in the drop down list of Zadig because it doesn't really tell you which one is the new one you just plugged in.

While CGminer is still running, after you reinstall the driver with Zadig, pull it out for a few seconds and plug it back in.. and CGminer will find it and run it..

seriously looks tricky. not sure if I want to buy U1 or S1 miners now.
