I accept your offer. But, I need to learn more about LN. I've installed Zap on my pc and mobile. I haven't used Zap yet, so I'm not sure if/how you need to create a channel with incoming capacity. Which wallet do you use for LN? I need advise. My favourites are BlueWallet (custodial!) and Phoenix (largely non-custodial). For both wallets (and LN in general): don't deposit more than you're willing to risk. And please send your LTC wallet address here. ltc1qd2td2mgccpd96fvuw0ya8828lgmjq25yclgsfg @LoyceV nice to see such a influential forum member getting envolved ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Does that make me an influencer? ![](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/afro.gif)

There is a scammer selling a "method" for $175 And there I thought I could join this ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I'm posting a lot already, so why not make an extra $2000 per month ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

Note: I figure that the temporary banning for IPs for requesting pages too fast and recurrently is not currently in effect (otherwise my scrapper account would have encountered issues). I did a quick test, it's working: Too fast / overloaded (503)
Most likely, you are accessing the forum too quickly. You are only allowed to access at a rate of one pageload per second on average (somewhat higher bursts).
It is also possible that the server is overloaded or temporarily down.

I received the same link, but can't open it through Tor, and don't really want to register there. It's a "method" to make $1500-$2000 a month and it involves spamming on Bitcointalk but I'm not sure what the actual source of revenue is. The only thing I can think of is someone holds a grudge and tries to damage Bitcointalk. So Sakhill is expected to get paid in 2-3 days, I still don't get it though: if they're not paid upfront, why would they risk creating that many Copper Members?

As with "defi", I can't say I've ever heard of "Wrapped bitcoin" I tend to agree that if it isn't bitcoin or (in the case of the lightning network which a a wallet to store and spend BitCoins) it should probably go into the alt coin wastepaper basket.
"Wrapped Bitcoin" sounds like the (potential) scam where someone convinces Bitcoin users to exchange their Bitcoins for Ethereum tokens created out of thin air, on the promise they'll keep the value of one Bitcoin each. I'd say that belongs on Investor-based games at best.

The "support team" is close to impossible to get in touch with and if you do get them, you will get a standard reply: I checked the site, and it doesn't offer a Letter of Guarantee. That should be reason enough not to use them. I know only one mixer that has a good reason not to give a LoG (because they give you private keys), any other mixer should provide one. Unlike a signed message, screenshots can never be conclusive evidence. I've seen this scam before, and because of the lack of LoG, they can create a smoke screen about phishing. If they'd be honest, they could have prevented any fake scam accusations by providing for a LoG. But they didn't. They copied the 4 step design from ChipMixer. Quoting myself: Others have mentioned it already, but you really need a Letter of Guarantee signed from a Bitcoin address mentioned on your site and archived here on Bitcointalk. That's the only thing someone could use to prove foul play without any doubt. I'm pretty sure selective scamming was the plan from the start. I'm considering a neutral warning on any new mixer without LoG from now on.

The first member posting his Lightning Wallet address in this thread gets it ! This may confuse people, LN doesn't use addresses, it uses payment requests. Your invoice is not recognized by my Wallet of Satoshi and does not decode here too: The spaces must be removed. It's better to use code-tags around payment requests.

I was inspired by someone named Demi on Instagram and Tiktok. You can't compete with a girl showing her goodies to millions of horny followers ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) And even if you would be a girl showing your goodies, Bitcointalk doesn't come close to the audience those "influencer" platforms have. The appeal is lost on me though, I've blocked those platforms from my hosts file a long time ago. However, I wouldn't mind trading your 0.001 LTC for 1001 satoshi on the Bitcoin Lightning Network. That's more than 2x and if you haven't tried it yet, gives you the chance to explore Bitcoin LN. After that, you'll only have to go 100,000x to reach your goal ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) If interested, please post a Bitcoin LN payment request for 1001 satoshi.

Seventy-seventh week paid. Thanks again! Perfect timing, while I'm 2 hours off. Oh no, it's been almost 20 minutes and LoyceV hasn't responded yet. Unacceptable negligence. What can I say, the kids were in bed early, so we had couch time without them. The AI is currently being rebooted. Normal service will resume shortly. I don't reboot. I'm sure LoyceV is just having more trouble than usual getting the time machine up and running. To be fair, time machines are very finicky, and there are lot of things that can go wrong. Could be anything from leaky flux capacitors to insufficiently pure plutonium (it's a known problem when sourcing nuclear material from shady dark web sellers). Tell me about it ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) It's been a while since this thread got derailed ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

I'm also thinking about making more checks, like another one after 1 or 2 hours. I assume you're scraping the page with the post to check for updates, right? That means you're downloading up to 19 other posts at the same time. If you download them anyway, can you add those posts to your "check for editing" feature?

Well just avoid it then, I check your post half of that what I was check is garbage and spam, and they are not interested for me at all. Should I report that because I don't like them? If suchmoon posts "garbage and spam" that doesn't fit the forum rules, then by all means: report those posts! the spammer has guts and is patronizing DT members. Good Lord! Isn't that a good thing? I like to hear why they post this way, I don't mind being patronized, and being on DT doesn't matter at all when it comes to spam. Jesus, this is what I was waiting for ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) "I'm here on forum 2,3,5,10 (doesn't matter) years and I have right to do what I want, I know everything and everyone should listen me". Not really, this forum gives you the freedom to say pretty much anything you like. I'm person who doesn't care about ranks, and I don't care who you are and what you do. I sort people in 2 group, good and bad, and that's it. May I suggest a third group: "undecided"? When it comes to this forum, I've seen some good people, many bad people, but by far the largest category are people I know nothing about. As I said if I break any rule, send me notice and punish me if I deserve it. That's up to the Mods if posts get reported. Thanks for stopping by ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) They're probably not aware of LoyceV's site where they stick out like a Christmas tree in July Until recently, those Christmas tree Newbies were mostly posting in Russian, so I couldn't really tell if they were spamming or not.

Thanks a lot for the info, does it mean that BTC giveaway is allowed? Yes, on this board (Games and rounds) you can ask users to post for instance their address or account name, to be paid (a small amount of) Bitcoin. If you do that, you should change your title too ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Ding, soon. Congratulations Mr. Legendary! Welcome to the Club. I checked if you have some easy old posts to report just to mess with you, but I don't think it can clear a 14 days Activity period ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) That would have been the funniest dick move I've seen in a while. I can think of another dick move: theymos could introduce a new Rank above Legendary right now, that requires twice the Activity you needed to become Legendary. All this just to mess with Steamtyme ![](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/afro.gif)

So everyone who register and write something in offtopic is spammer? Most probably, yes. Why would anyone join any forum only to post in Off-topic? I can think of many reasons to join Bitcointalk, just not this. Before the Merit system, Off-topic was used by account farmers to "build accounts". Somehow some Newbies still don't know that's futile. if you are call all of us spammer as we write posts in offtopic, why is that section open? It's a honeypot to keep the serious boards free from spam. What should I write if someone want to know opinion about mouse, headphones, electric car etc. Allow me to answer this with a different question: What would you write on - say - Pet Mouse Fanciers Forum if you want to talk about your electric car? I haven't seen this on any forum other than Bitcointalk: you don't go to a specialized forum to discuss something that belongs on another specialized forum, if you can go to the correct forum to start with. Even better: why would you join the wrong forum if it charges you $20 for your account?

But if the newbies could have a limitation of 10 posts per day and/or with an interval of an hour before they can post is I guess the better choice to lessen such shitposters and spammers. Newbies already have to wait 6 minutes between posts, but Copper Membership reduces this limit. Until yesterday, Newbie trolls with Copper Membership were a rare thing. Once these get banned, it'll be quite expensive to continue making many new Copper Members, so I expect it to end soon. And there's this: Limiting newbie participation is very harmful for a community. Newbie jail will never return: I consider the newbie-jail period to have been extremely damaging to the forum. When barriers to participation are too high, then the best people often just won't go to the trouble of joining, and the people who are willing to jump through the hoops are often people who aren't good for the community: people with nothing better to do, scammers, get-rick-quickers, etc. Having a permanent newbie jail policy would improve things a lot in the short-term, but would end up being a fatal poison to the community.

Detrix might be not part of that group, It's not a Copper Member either, so doesn't fit in. I think I found a few more, all Copper Members: FYeah (created in 2017) Sakhill (created 2 days ago) FaceTehWind (created in 2016) I only noticed those because they post a lot. There could be many more that are "hiding" by only making a few posts.

For example with a specific kind of payment (e-transfers in Canada) I require KYC. And so I would like to write an article why I need to perform KYC, how I will store their private data, and what I will do with it. It sounds like you need to do this as a company, I wouldn't want to do "KYC" with just anyone, and I can imagine people use LocalBitcoins to avoid KYC at an exchange that has much better rates. I'm no expert on KYC, but I can imagine you'll also need an AML policy. Just knowing who you're dealing with doesn't mean they won't use you to launder illegal funds. Register a domain name That would be my suggestion too.

👽Send your Tower.bet username in this thread. 👽 💸Receive free 300 doge on your Tower.bet balance within a day.💸 On-forum altcoin giveaways are against the rules, and can get you and anyone who joins banned. If you use for instance a Google form instead of a forum post to join, you can run this here. I tried to have this rule changed but it's still in place.

nor do I think skynet has become self-aware yet. It could be a test-run: AI writing messages on Bitcointalk.org. Read this: In my early experiments with GPT-3 I found that GPT-3’s predicted sentences, when published on the bitcointalk.org forum, attracted lots of positive attention from posters there, including suggestions that the system must have been intelligent (and/or sarcastic) and that it had found subtle patterns in their posts. ~ I chose bitcointalk.org as the target environment for my experiments for a variety of reasons: It is a popular forum with many types of posts and posters. ~ I posted about one interesting tech topic every day in May, alternating between using my own words and paraphrasing my previous post with GPT-3’s help. I didn’t take special care to make these GPT-3-enhanced posts blend in well. ~ I have a confession: I did not write the above article. ~ This article was fully written by GPT-3. An AI test-run would actually explain why someone would spend $100+ on Copper Memberships!
