I just installed Tor under your suggestion @suchmoon only to find that it's a mozilla/firefox product. The Tor browser is based on Firefox, but it's created by The Tor Project, Inc.. So, although the Tor Browser sounds interesting, why should I install a different version of mozilla/firefox if it won't accept an extension (BPIP) that isn't "recommended"? The way I read suchmoon's post is that the official Firefox doesn't allow the extension anymore, but the Tor browser still allows it.

Well, I must admit that these posts have already received some merit... Those posts are loaded with Merit! I won't delete your post, but I'll leave it as an example of what this topic isn't meant for. See: a possibility for users to report good unmerited posts to Merit Sources. I haven't been very strict on this, but this is too much ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

Sample: addresses.txt.gz: all addresses in chronological order, with duplicates ( Warning: 31 GB): 1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa 12c6DSiU4Rq3P4ZxziKxzrL5LmMBrzjrJX 1HLoD9E4SDFFPDiYfNYnkBLQ85Y51J3Zb1 ....... 3GFfFQAFgXKiA1qqUK6rqBpEpG4vZDos6t 3Mbtv47gZ2eN6Fy7owpgHHwSLYHS42P56P 38JyF2RQknBUMETyRT2yGndDJFYSp6hJNg Due to limitations on disk space, I'm considering removing this file. Unless anyone has a need for it, so: can anyone tell me what this can be used for? I know it can be used to make a Top 100 of addresses with most receiving transactions. Instead of this list, I want to make a new list without duplicates, but still in order of first appearance of each address. Thanks to bob123, I can do that now! I'll also keep the sorted list, because that list is very convenient to find matches on a list.
I need some time to process all data. When done, I'll rewrite some of my posts.

I've seen so many Newbies posting plagiarism, that this instantly triggers the same suspicion. But since you've edited your Reddit post to confirm it's yours, I don't think you should be banned. I read it, but I don't understand it at all I'm not a native English speaker, but this sounds to me as if you're trying to make it as complicated as possible. Update: it went better reading it a few more times without the kids around, but it's still tough material.Dear Support!
I accept the ban, and I don't want to appeal.
However I respectfully ask you to justify the decision! I would guess they get many similar requests each day. In your case, you shouldn't accept the ban, but explain why it's wrong. How is it possible to get the moderators attention? I suggest to change the title: "Incorrect ban for plagiarism, I copied my own text".

A year ago, I created Should Evil fees have a maximum? when I saw a $58 evil fee: I can imagine this $58 fee is scaring off real users who use Tor to protect their privacy.
Paying $3 sounds much more reasonable for a real user to join a forum than paying $58, while it's still too much to be worth it for a spammer. It would really be a waste if the high Evil fee stops good users from joining. As a result, theymos reduced the maximum: OK, I reduced the maximum to the same price as copper membership, since it doesn't really make sense for copper membership to be cheaper when it includes whitelisting. Theymos agrees it's still a bit high, but I don't think it was lowered further: The fees actually paid (by people who are presumably not spammers) may be a bit high, though: I feel like it should be about a tenth of that. Some interesting statistics: In the last 30 days: - 16441 users registered. - 4040 required a fee, and the average required fee among them was 0.00127297 BTC. - 99 paid the fee, and the average fee paid was 0.00116449 BTC. What I wanted to note is that, people are advised to use TOR for better privacy protection but they are actually gonna face the at least 10 Captcha solving and a fee in addition. So in the privacy statement should be noted that if you wish to create an account trough TOR you should expect some fees which have to be paid to be able to post in the forum. For a while now, I've considered starting an "account creation service for privacy" just to avoid the captcha, including a Protonmail email account (this took me several days to create). If I ever start this, it won't be for spammers as I'll charge enough to get all accounts Copper Membership, and the buyer will get a captcha bypass code with his brand new account. Some people are willing to pay good money for privacy. It's a good idea, maybe OP has to try VPN over Tor. Connecting into VPN first to cover the Tor exit node. Let's do that experiment with free VPN and change all credentials when login success. I assume you'll use the VPN first, and then Tor. This hides the fact that you're using Tor from your ISP. The forum will see the Tor exit node, not your VPN. Imagine you register an account trough TOR with all that captcha solving for 5-10 min and then suddenly you have to pay. If you don't have/own bitcoin and you don't know how to pay then you probably be disappointed and will never come back. I don't think I would have created my account if I had to pay a fee back in the days, and I'm probably not the only one. I wish I would have used Tor from the start though, lost privacy is impossible to regain. Tor gives the same captcha problem on many websites, which makes it quite annoying to use. Privacy is quite expensive in terms on time.

If it were me, I would either pass D, E, and F, individually through ChipMixer or a coinjoin before consolidating them at a later date, or keep them separate altogether and just use them for various payments as you suggest. An alternative for really small inputs: you can convert them to Bitcoin on the Lightning Network by using one of the custodial wallets. I've used BlueWallet and Phoenix for this (research the wallets yourself before funding them, so you know potential pitfalls), and if you create different wallets, you'll get different funding addresses. Don't do all inputs at once, and you'll break most on-chain blockchain connection. The wallet company will know the link between addresses though.

|
|
AFAIK you can't convert non HD wallet to HD wallet where you must create new HD wallet. The alternative would be to restore a backup. And if anyone has ever used one of the non-HD addresses, keep your non-HD wallet just in case.

If people do not read the text they are signing up to, and they also don't pay attention to the transaction they are signing, then there is really little else which can be done. In a way this could be considered a $11 lesson to prevent much larger losses later on. Always check thoroughly before sending crypto, there is no undo button.

I would like to reiterate here that neither electrum nor trustedcoin disclosed the fee, prior to me making the transaction. The only way to get there, is by manually selecting "Wallet with two-factor authentication" when creating a new wallet. Electrum then shows the following Disclaimer: Two-factor authentication is a service provided by TrustedCoin. It uses a multi-signature wallet, where you own 2 of 3 keys. The third key is stored on a remote server that signs transactions on your behalf. To use this service, you will need a smartphone with Google Authenticator installed.
A small fee will be charged on each transaction that uses the remote server. You may check and modify your billing preferences once the installation is complete.
Note that your coins are not locked in this service. You may withdraw your funds at any time and at no cost, without the remote server, by using the 'restore wallet' option with your wallet seed.
The next step will generate the seed of your wallet. This seed will NOT be saved in your computer, and it must be stored on paper. To be safe from malware, you may want to do this on an offline computer, and move your wallet later to an online computer. Considering how many topics I've seen about this, many people don't read anything before clicking. But the part in blue is sneaky: I'd say they don't charge a small fee on each transaction, they charge more than $11 on your first transaction. On top of that, there's an increased transaction fee because the multisig increases the transaction size.

I don't own any domains Get ritaconsciencepredictsroobet.tk (it's free) ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Maybe I should add a graph or something that shows how the lower and upper bounds change over time? Yes please! Manually making graphs every other day is too much work.

i can say i've been called a sigspammer a couple of times Let me start by saying: "me too!". Everyone's entitled to their opinion. Creating a thread about someone and not letting them respond is quite nasty. I did that once to Quickseller (I think) and I still feel bad about it. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Agreed! Local rule : dkbit98&btcltcdigger are not allowed to post here - their opinion is already quite familiar to me. Can I persuade you into changing this local rule? It looks better on you to allow the accused to defend themselves. For what it's worth: I like how you guys are using the correct Neutral feedback to express your opinion on each other: Neutral (shown as =1) - Use Neutral feedback for anything that doesn't mean someone can or can't be trusted. This can be good feedback, for instance when someone helped you out.
- I think Neutral Feedback is currently undervalued on Bitcointalk. It's a great tool to de-escalate without drastic consequences. Please use it when appropriate.
Don't worry too much about it. Neutral feedback is meant for opinions. dkbit98 behaved quite irrational in that linked topic. The kids are too wild to thoroughly read everything, but I noticed this: I won't go more offtopic but Atleast you filled your signature quote mr.Right ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Adios It would be so much better to just report off-topic posts, especially on a serious board like Hardware wallets. Don't take it personal. That's good advice for virtually anything you see on the internet. You and dkbit98 are both helpful posters as far as I'm concerned
My suggestion: both of you bury the hatchet. You're both valuable members of the forum. So much I can agree on in one post ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Ideally both these users should ignore each other and go their separate ways but that almost never happens here on Bitcointalk. I really don't get why people would read posts if they already know they don't like what they're going to read. Adding a few users per year makes the forum nicer to read.

If you don't like the sound of using any software, then ProtonMail provide free email accounts where you can get a PGP enabled email address by default. I'm currently in the process of creating a Protonmail account. -----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- Today is August 25, 2020. I am LoyceV at Bitcointalk.org and confirm LoyceVswitzerland@protonmail.com is my email address. -----BEGIN SIGNATURE----- 1LoyceVGjMmUj6Na79M9Ju8N52KXkbKMQE HPqWKepp/3oMcHDRLbNH/JPHHChzh58qHXVteGk9pQgMUfx23t6DJ0OLDzrOsvhDSbKgeR/vAToeKzzY6JOfhJQ= -----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- Click to verify (although you should never rely on third parties to verify a signature). Address staked here. Feel free to send me anything to prove ownership of funds: Sure, we can prove ownership of some addresses to you. This is what I'll do with the information: - Verify the signature(s) using either Bitcoin Core or Electrum
- Verify the balance using my latest data dump on my local PC (so I don't have to enter the address in a Block explorer)
This means the balance I confirm might be outdated by several hours - Post the sum of all balances in this topic, rounded to Bitcoins dot
One Two Decimals - Delete your email
- Remove the addresses from the search history on my PC
Update: I can confirm the sum of the addresses signed by Anonymixer have a combined balance of 0.14 BTC, based on today's address snapshot (at least 14 hours old, possibly a bit more), spread out. I've deleted all data already. I said I'd post only one decimal, but if OP is okay with it, I can add one more decimal (from memory) to make the balance more accurate. Done!

When I check his profile, he is inactive. That's not an official forum notification, it's probably coming from the BPIP Extension. So, what is correct here? Both BPIP and loyce.club have to do with the data we can find. I wish there was an official dump of banned profiles. I've had this user marked as Autobanned on July 20, 2019. I don't have older records, so I can't find back when he got banned. If he isn't banned, all he has to do is make a post, and I'll remove him from my list. If he is banned, where I can find a reason why it's happened? Most of the time the reason isn't public. Also if this user is banned, what is the procedure to lock his ANN thread, which now serves only to spammers shill for his other projects. He has abandoned this coin (as far as I know he is the only one from devs side), I don't think they will come back to recover it. even if he comes, let him start from the beginning. You can just report the topic, explain that OP is banned and the thread is only used by spammers. Update: The account isn't currently banned. Thanks, I've removed him from my list. My Trust list viewer will be updated on Saturday.

I've finally fixed this for you. Sorry it took me this long to realize the fix was as simple as adding "-w" to my search. Your short name will no longer match longer words that include it. Done ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

I just have checked that most of his received merits are from deleted posts. That's not true. The posts may be off-limits to you if you blocked the board, but they aren't deleted.

... and a question, how often do they update with new information? When unsure, read the OP: Updates Any new post in this topic triggers an "instant" update. You can add a new post or edit an existing post to add more userIDs. I scrape all posts in this topic once a day, and update all images.. Update: I prefer to keep all requests inside one post, it makes scraping this topic faster.
