141  Local / Pilipinas / Re: HAPPY HALVING MGA KABABAYAN! on: April 20, 2024, 11:38:09 PM
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in a casino's bankroll...Still worth it in 2024? on: April 20, 2024, 07:52:07 PM
What kind of investment you are planning, is it through crowd funding or private investment.
Honestly, I can't find any casinos nowadays that starts accepting investors like when they are at the early stage, it looks like they already had a private investors before they introduce their product to the market.
It should be the traditional way to invest in casinos, the bankroll investments. I don't feel like crowd funding, especially if its tokenized of casinos, i feel like most of the investors are rubbed in that way.
Well, yeah, looks like most new casino nowadays have their own fund when starting its ventures and not needed of external sources.

Maybe you haven't invested on a right casino, but when it's old and establish, the rate might be low and you need a decent capital so you'll be satisfied with the potential profit you'll make.
Well, that was on bustadice, yolodice and crypto-games, ancient casinos i say. It's true about having decent capital will probably have huge returns as all these investments of mine are all + profit but since the capital amount is not that huge and i feel like i was in the last batches, it looks like it's not worth it.
143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What the Heck Do Gamblers Mean By this Phrase on: April 20, 2024, 04:46:48 PM
I guess it's a superstitions of being a lucky with cards, or as someone said the card counting. As you will know it's flow in every shuffle of cards. Can't find enough answer about it when searching online except on reddit threads which are in opinionated answers too.

Next time when you heard someone talking about it, don't be shy to ask and tell us his/her answers too  Grin
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now that Bitcoin halving have been completed, what next? on: April 20, 2024, 04:02:13 PM
What's next? i guess to suffer higher and higher transaction fees, well, since bitcoin mining reward is cheap by numbers unlike before. Miners will need source of profit, which is the transaction fees. And yes, they love it when transaction fees soars while the community and average users suffers Roll Eyes
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mempool Observer Topic on: April 20, 2024, 01:48:48 AM
alot of people wanted to get their UTXO in block 840,000 so paid stupid fee's to outbid competition, not everyone could get in so some are getting their tx added in later blocks so expect the fee's to be high, out of stupid milestone notoriety hopes

we will see this wave of idiocy of 840k notoriety bidding war die down and then go back to the idiocy of the newest junk/scam spam of runes that replaced the brc ordinals scam spam
This is the worst thing i can saw in all the history if bitcoin transaction fees lmao. Based in mempool.space bitcoin fees will got 4sat/vB after an estimate of 240 blocks, if my calculation is right it will happen in 2 days which is not long but lot will happen in those days which might increase the logs and will expand the duration before the fees get too low or back at least 20sat/vB.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: buying bitcoin with a creditcard on: April 19, 2024, 11:53:36 PM
Does anyone know any European or international platform offering such services??
You can buy bitcoin with cash using Peach Bitcoin app and you don't need to perform any verification with some daily limitations.
...
There are other services that accept credit cards but you could be asked to perform kyc there for trading.
I checked peach bitcoin's accepted payment methods[1] but they doesn't have credit card payment. Although if OP is open for bank transfers then yes it could be possible but still depends on his/her currency. OP can check this gsheet before from peach bitcoin's platform.

I will need to purchase from a foreign. Can do bank transfer or credit card with kyc whatever no problem.

147  Other / Meta / Re: Anyone? is there any solution of this ? on: April 19, 2024, 06:55:12 PM
Try to put all images with fixed width not only the second td inside the tr

Edit: Okay, it looks like still a mess up, i guess the only solution is to follow what NeuroticFish had done.

148  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tracking inside of CEXs on: April 19, 2024, 12:32:27 PM
There is a reason CEX are effective mixers, it is not a public ledger like the bitcoin on chain network is.
I get the point of the process but imagine using a mixer that requires personal information, it does not make any sense.

Including Monero (or any other privacy focused chains)? I am really very curious to know if they trace such transactions without breaking a sweat.
Com'n man, that's why they are called privacy coins for that reason. No need to ask that. Coins that are monitored and tracked on that site are the public ones and known altcoins and tokens.
149  Other / Off-topic / Re: LabHost phishing service with 40,000 domains disrupted, 37 arrested on: April 18, 2024, 11:43:22 PM
Why are users sent warning messages? If they have used the platform to scam people, they should be arrested immediately and not be warned through messages. .
Through legal proceedings? Seriously, you can't arrest someone in the internet just through the stored data in any database with only the email address, it could be hacked, have fake names, as well as fake address and all other info. The messages sent could be just asking evidence or whatever. Since the main suspects are the owners, people operating the website.

but we also have to watch our guards since it's crystal clear that the internet is not safe as it seems.
It's always does.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in a casino's bankroll...Still worth it in 2024? on: April 18, 2024, 11:31:56 PM
If there's a new open casino that accepts investments with known team who had operate a successful crypto business and casino before, i will be willing to invest and i guess its still worth it.

But to the old ones, naaah, i did experience of investing to those, and i learned it my way.
151  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: April 18, 2024, 10:47:13 PM
At this rate, I am pretty sure they might end up writing to the forum administrators to try any reveal any information about, or perhaps they have tried already  Grin
I read somewhere before of theymos' posts regarding of his thoughts if US authority asked about the details of someone (account) due to legal things. Well, he will willingly follow it since the forum is based in US and has its jurisdictions. So it's really possible.
152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "Jontay Porter receives lifetime ban from NBA for violating gambling rules" on: April 18, 2024, 10:27:54 PM
Everything with an advantage must have a disavantage and consequences but he would have thought twice before making negative decisions just for gain. Lessons learnt and I'm sure people will learn from his mistakes as well
I read in Fortune that it's the first time happened where NBA banned a player because of gambling in the last 70 years. Which is the reason why Jontay don't mind of doing that without thinking the cons of his actions.  Probably he didnt expect things will go south after doing things like that or he is just ignorance of the rules.
153  Other / Meta / Re: Why is merit not common on trading discussion board on: April 18, 2024, 10:10:54 PM
I observed and posted before, i even recommends it to newbies that opinionated posts in discussion boards are rarely given merits, this is not exclusive to trading discussions, you can observe its the same on bitcoin discussion, economy boards, politics, how much more in gambling boards. Most posts there are repeating with huge blocks of texts and opinionated.

Unlike on answer-based and experienced boards like most technical boards, service discussions, Meta, B&H, etc.
154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understanding the Legality and Myth of Card Counting in Blackjack on: April 17, 2024, 11:52:13 PM
Your last sentence doesn't even make sense, the government makes the law - casinos and players follow those laws. Casinos are free to make their own terms, which players must adhere to in order to play there or they will be ejected from the casino and possibly banned permanently, that does not make what they are doing illegal and no police are going to arrest them for that alone.
Yeah, i read it somewhere too but it does make sense, it's even confusing. While the government makes and mandates that law, some casinos don't allow or basically follow it. In any way, no need to complicate things as casinos have their own rules and that's what matters.
But yeah, you can't be put in bars if caught doing that, the person might be banned playing blackjack and be offered to other games, or worst ban in the casino for good.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now that Bitcoin is no longer digital cash? on: April 17, 2024, 11:04:14 PM
I ask this question because I wonder what Bitcoin will become now that the financial institutions and meme coin advocates have taken over.

If Bitcoin is not peer-to-peer electronic cash then how do you see it?
Meme coin take over? In what sense, these coins are more like living in hype, the same on those who advocates meme coins, its no sole purpose but only for temporary hype and short term too risky investment. You can get millions of holding in simply several weeks then lost them overnight unlike to other major coins they are not even comparable to bitcoin itself.
156  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can Bitcoin be a full time career for investors? on: April 16, 2024, 11:50:05 PM
Yes, it depends on what resources you have, it's like business man's mindset, set your plan long term, learn basic things on how to secure your device, you and and your funds by using hardware and the practice to save/backup your seed and private keys, then patience. While you can say you're fulltime in crypto still don't forget to leverage and diversify your funds by having investments to others, it's a unwise just to put your funds in a single basket.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Original "Buy Bitcoin" sign for sale at an auction in a couple of days on: April 16, 2024, 10:21:22 PM
How did the man keep that paper since 2017 and did not throw it away shortly after that?
Yeah? If the man can give details on how he preserve such easy to tear paper, or maybe he really think this way before that such things will have the interest of others in the few years. So putting it on a  dust-proof frame will probably preserve the paper.

Edit: i thoroughly checked it but both paper were totally different. So i wonder how it will sells to collectors.
158  Other / Meta / Re: Reply without bumping? on: April 16, 2024, 09:54:56 PM
Is it possible to reply to a topic without bumping it? I think this would be a very useful way to warn others of scammers, trolls and suspicious posts without bumping the thread to the top where more people can see.
It's possible but i'm curious how could it be done though. Or maybe theymos can add an option filter on the "Additional options..." like "ignore bumping the thread after a reply" or something similar. So yes, it will be another workload to theymos.

But thinking about it, knowing scam are not moderated here, so i don't think admin would care much.
159  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is possible to add this feature on ninjastic.space ? on: April 15, 2024, 10:51:14 PM
It's possible but it will take more resources on the server if abused. It might work if its limited only like for 90 days of custom sorting dates or 120 days (feb xx 2022- may xx 2022).
160  Other / Meta / Re: Long codes messing up the post history appearance. Solutions? on: April 15, 2024, 10:44:50 PM
I just wanted to know how you know the table name, or row name, or title name, on that page. Is there any other script to extract such data?
You can inspect element your post history or anywhere in this forum to check that every box like UI/look is made with table tags. For me to manipulate all affected tags since there's no class name or id i just use the table, its attributes and its value, also the ":nth-child()" selector. In this case i just use ":first-child" selector since i just need only the first "td", you will need the latter if you need the other nth in order of tags (parent > child)
