581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Michael Jordan a gambling addict ? on: December 20, 2023, 09:51:56 PM
He takes care of his family, far from broke and gambling brings him entertainment.. so my question, would MJ be considered an addict?
Addicts are those who doesn't have life balance — gambling addict. In which the opposite how you describe MJ is. I don't even considered Drake as addict too. Because these people have other life than gambling, gambling to them is just entertainment, a way to spend their money.
Addiction is life imbalance, doesn't have a life except their addiction,
582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you remember when Twitch banned gambling? Now they allow nudity! on: December 19, 2023, 11:56:26 PM
Why do you think gambling has been being treated in a different manner by Twitch?

Twitch revamps rules on sexual content
I say it's just weird, they banned gambling because of "potential harm" it may cause, then allowed nudity for what? For more pleasure in the eye? I guess both of this can harm someone's self and other person when excessive thing  is done. Well, it's true having nudity content means more viewers lol.
583  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Help , Sobrang taas ng fee Pano mag send ng mas mababa and fees? on: December 18, 2023, 11:13:59 PM

Btw anu reason bakit my account ka diyan?

For the process, need mo lang gumawa ng normal na transaction, say, sending wallet to exchange, yung transaction id, yung ilalagay mo sa box sa link sa baba, need mo lang i-pasa yung captcha bago ka makas-submit. Pag yung transaction mo is below 500 kb in size, at may fee kahit 20 sat/b pwede ma accept yan ni viabtc. Once ma submit mo yan, regardless ang current recommendation fee, ma ko-confirm ang transaction mo pag naka mine ng block ang viabtc kung saan isasama nila yung transaction mo.

As of writing may 89 pang free slots kahit 13 minutes ago na nakalipas.

584  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Should I be worried about this? on: December 18, 2023, 10:55:33 PM
As long as you are on the right site, which is BPIP.org, you are safe.
Not always on the right site, sometimes after ddos malicious actors inserted malicious codes in the site that can steal information, infect users device etc. but its not always the case.

After visiting, if you hover the anchor text (Enter) the url shows
Code:
https://bpip.org/a11
I doubt its something to be afraid of, when you access it you will go on bpip.org working site's page.

586  Other / Meta / Re: [proposal] forum subdomains on: December 18, 2023, 11:01:28 AM
This is easy to implement actually, no need to mess the codes in the current software, admin just needs to set a redirection in cpanel (only if this forums software use it). Admin only will create subdomain then redirects to a certain URL with or without www.
About the SEO, no need to configure for that since this forum use canonical tags which is Google sees first if ever there's a redirection in the URL.
587  Other / Meta / Re: An empty OP of a pinned thread in Archival? on: December 18, 2023, 02:47:05 AM
Are you somewhat browsing threads on that board? If it's on archival that means they are supposed to be trashed, deleted, useless, since most test threads are there.

Based on Ninjastic.space it was posted by Ratimov which has changed it's name (idk the reason). Knowing that it came from the same user who was deleting its own threads. What i guess it was pinned on their local boards (since we know how good OP he is back there) then include this thread to move(delete) there while still pinned.
588  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance alternatives on: December 18, 2023, 12:42:52 AM
I would suggest moving your assets on binance to your own wallet.
can use electrum for bitcoin
for non bitcoin you can use trust wallet.
Trustwallet is owned by Binance as well, moving your funds from Binance to Trustwallet doesn't have any difference in terms of security since it's closed source.

To @OP i used Kucoin for a long time already even use their P2P for crypto to PHP. As well as don't use exchange as wallet alternative, it's better to do like that.
589  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Fee Observer Thread in USD(sat/vB) on: December 17, 2023, 11:53:04 PM

590  Other / Meta / Re: How did you know about Bitcoin and Bitcointalk? on: December 17, 2023, 11:45:27 PM
I learnt bitcoin from researching on how i can earn money online when i entered college and got a free wifi establishment so free internet all the way. Facebook groups are like good forums back there with full discussions of certain niche. Someone mentioned there about bitcointalk, still related to earn. But im so doubtful that it takes me almost a year i registered here.
In the simple words i go here because of profit i'll get Grin. But in the long run i even learned technicalities, financial literacy, many more.
591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Type of gambling and Intelligence on: December 17, 2023, 10:44:03 PM
Does the type of game you play at a casino or sports you bet on show an individual's level of intelligence or how smart a person is?
Blackjack, Poker, slots, roulette, baccarat, sports betting, horse racing, betting on sociopolitical events, keno, etc.
I'm a gambler who always choose easier games, like rolling and saw results in just a single click, does it make me less intelligent? So if i try poker which needs more skills do i become more intelligent? It doesn't nake sense, especially it does not give you higher probability to win.

593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You will burn on: December 17, 2023, 10:12:25 PM
Having shitcoins is too risky it's a do or die choice. There's no certain point that it will go up or go down in any way that you could expect. But once it go up, your investment sure will sky rocketed multiple times but once it dumps, it's the end of your investment if you can't save it on time because it can go up or down easily and lost your investment overnight. Unlike bitcoin that once it drop it still manageable once it pump it's way more better.
594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 20,000 btc moved on: December 16, 2023, 11:59:02 PM
Most of the time for inexperience investors, they could take this as negative and become nervous and suddenly push the sell button. And then this whales are very happy scooping those BTC from noobs.
No need to panic with those sell notifications to exchanges though. Only those paranoid are those affected. And you don't need to hate this alerts, they are more helpful on the other way around.

But yeah, in any case, we can speculate what that "unknown wallet" is.
That unknown wallet is refered as not exchange or known company, mostly are individual traders.
595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ordinal blockchain irking me, causing almost $40 median fee now... on: December 16, 2023, 11:47:38 PM
I don't want to spend $40 to consolidate here.  I guess I'll just have to wait.  And wait & wait & wait???
A good wallet to use like electrum then ignore the high fees, inout a smaller fee which sat/vb then use viabtc free accelerator, or use a small fee then just wait. That's the thing you can do.

Maybe only a much higher BTC price will stop those ords from infesting the mempool....
That wouldn't happen anytime soon, higher btc price means higher fees too in terms of USD value.
596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 20,000 btc moved on: December 16, 2023, 06:52:57 PM
Looking your timestamp of posting, i didn't see any tweet from whale alert such amount of transfer. Although there is $200k[1] or 5500 BTC transfer but from unknown to unknown wallet, while there is 2310 BTC or $97k from unknown to coinbase[2]. So there's nothing near to what you have posted. And lastly, it doesn't matter.

597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: December 16, 2023, 06:44:27 PM
never in history have i read the terms and conditions of a website. when facebook and google announced and emailed me they had updated their policy, i still ignored them.
Well, if we're talking of social media site's tos, that's different, i didn't and never read anything there as well.
Unlike casinos tos, since i need to make a deposit or even pass my personal information, i just filter out by finding keywords of what their terms is.
598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prove me wrong: Gambling is both more relaxing and entertaining than trading! on: December 16, 2023, 06:36:02 PM
It does entertaining, but i doubt gambling will be relaxing in any way even trading. Well, it depends on personal preference but that's too much to consider as relaxing for me. Relaxing for me is drinking a cup of coffee while looking outside trees in my terrace, simple words i'm at peace. I won't get peace in gambling lol thinking what's my next move, if my bet will win a such lower odds, etc.
599  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcasino.io won't let me cashout my money on: December 15, 2023, 11:53:39 PM
Is this the same on how "double spend" works on blockchain network what are they trying to imply? Sounds like a rig decision.
Quote
"if you win, then confirm your deposit on the Blockchain and attempt to withdraw, "
Can you play if your deposit is not yet confirmed in the network, is this allowed on their site?

First, I will advise you to reupload your image to Talkimg so that it can be viewed here on the forum. I tried quoting, but the site you uploaded is not supported here.
No need of doing that, it's clickable link and that's good.
600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: December 15, 2023, 11:39:07 PM
I prefer to read the important part which are:

1. KYC requirement needed or not
2. Restricted countries
3. Deposit and withdrawal
The same thing here, i'll just ctrl+f these things before or sometimes after registering. But before doing that, a little google for reviews first. If it's just new well, take risks to browse but will not use yet. But most of the time this forum is my standard way of researching, casinos that has ann thread here with enough positive thoughts and experienced from others will always be to-go casinos.
