141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know xCrypt IEO on IDAX? on: June 15, 2019, 06:27:22 PM
The xCrypt project is IEO on IDAX. What information do you know about it? If it evaluates on a 5-point scale, how much is it? Please tell me whether to invest in it?

Do your personal due diligence, taking investment advice here could be misleading, make research on their team go through their white paper then if you are convinced about them you should invest.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can bounty with large allocations make you profitable ?? on: June 15, 2019, 05:00:41 PM
I often see bounties that allocate large tokens even equivalent to $ 1 million in tokens.
Then there are also bounties that have a small allocation of around $ 50k USD in tokens ...

So where do you think that will be promising and the tokens are valuable ??

because I also wonder why the team held a bounty with only large allocations of softcap money not achieved.

what do you think about this opinion.
Bounty that allocate huge token are deception, it is kind of throwing banana at a monkey a lot of inexperience hunters are attracted to the bounty because of the big allocation, we all want something enormous but most time those kind of bounty end up to be scam an example of that id ENVION bounty.

145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still investing in ICOs? Let me know! on: June 14, 2019, 08:02:55 PM
Hey guys.

I do currently ask myself if the ICO market will bounce back?. In how many ICOs do you typically invest and what is the average investement?.

Let me know.

I do currently work with a team on an ICO and i find it very important to understand the community and their investment habbits in 2019

Glad to hear the opinion of the bitcointalk community.
Investors aren't responding to ICO sales currently, i observe IEO is what in vogue currently, i will advise you to tell you are working with to consider raising their fund with IEO instead of relying on ICO.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pissed at bounty campaigns since late 2018 on: June 14, 2019, 07:56:41 PM
I'm just ranting. I have participated in three consecutive ICO bounty campaigns: the first one was finished along with the ICO but then the ICO changed heads and then they stiffed the bounty participants and just completely ignored everyone. The second campaign was just blah, nothing. No communication, there's even no ICO scheduled to happen! The third one just completely shut down in one day, they removed their LinkedIn page too.

Things were indeed a lot different before the massive bullrun of 2017.

Anyone thinking of joining bounties, don't rely on them.
Yes, bounties shouldn't be relied on much, the possibility of a success is always very low. Even at that some bounties are still good and have yielded good result though such bounties are scares these days that's why you should carefully select your bounties.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP Failed to Break the Resistance Level of $ 0.40, Is This a Sign of the End of on: June 14, 2019, 07:44:18 PM
At the beginning of the year, when BTC prices began to rise against the USD, XRP did not move up at the same speed as Bitcoin. XRP remained in a bad range from levels of $ 0.28 to $ 0.32 for several days before finally starting to move higher.

Cryptocurrency which is widely recognized by bankers has been able to rise from the level of $ 0.32 to the level of $ 0.46, but is now falling back without being able to retest it, until now.

Some time ago, the XRP price managed to move above the level of $ 0.40 but was unable to maintain its position above this level. The Ripple Labs company token then fell to the level of $ 0.39 and has been trading in that range
The sign of End of what? Do you mean because xrp can't break resistance level of $0.4 that has signal the end of xrp. I don't get the message you are trying to disseminate.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Swapping useless ERC20 Tokens on: June 14, 2019, 07:24:41 PM
Is there anything one can do with useless ERC20 Tokens? For example, a discontinued project or a bunch of scam developers.
Wake up every morning and be staring at it, there is no meaningful thing you can do with it, no more developer the token is useless.
If you are going to be feeling bad seeing it in your wallet, send it back to the scam token smart contract.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounties and airdrops still worth it? on: June 14, 2019, 05:39:33 PM
https://cryptotradernews.com/investing-trading/are-bounties-and-airdrops-still-worth-the-effort/ <<< they are killing them. They think their days are over.

Thoughts?
Majority of bounties are becoming worthless, amidst of numerous bounties, there are still few that worth the time spent on them, it's becoming difficult everyday to choose a good bounty campaign, a times luck may turn the one you do to a successful one but it's not 100% certain it will worth your effort and time.

152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Online Wallet - Site Disappears on: June 09, 2019, 05:39:25 PM
If you store coins in online wallets and if the site disappears in a sudden one day, you will lose everything.

Are you scared?
If they disappear you should have your private key with you in order to recover your asset, you can be scared expect you don't have access to your private key.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Blockchain replace the SWIFT system used by Banks? on: June 09, 2019, 05:29:30 PM
With Ripple's growing partnerships among banks and businesses worldwide, it seems that traditional payment systems will become replaced with DLT technology (aka as Blockchain). Because of the many benefits such technology provides, it looks likely that it will replace the old SWIFT system in the future. Unless such system does the switch to Distributed Ledger Technology, it may become outperformed by Ripple or Stellar in the future.

On the other hand, IBM has been working on a new payment network called "World Wire" powered by the Stellar protocol. Which means that existing players could be left in the dust if they don't grasp the benefits of the Blockchain.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Huh
Blockchain technology is an innovative that can't be resisted, one day the old traditional banking way will be ignored and there will be general adoption of the technology nearly all part of the world.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties with limitations pays higher rewards on: June 09, 2019, 05:14:40 PM
The quality of the project matters a lot, you can be given many token with no value, you should always look after the quality of a project before you do their bounties, what is the importance of getting many tokens with no value.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: hardware wallets safe? on: June 09, 2019, 05:06:52 PM
I personally think it is safe as an offline wallet offers the highest level of security for storing crypto is it involves storing the funds in a secured place that is not connected to any network. This type of wallet can also offer good protection against computer vulnerabilities. The hardware wallets are the best type of offline wallet that offers very high security and ease of use. Also, as these wallets allow backup, you can easily recover your funds if you lose this device.

One such example of a hardware wallet is Trezor. It operates as secure cold storage. You can easily transfer bitcoins to the device using the Trezor interface, which is accessible from macOS, Linux, Windows, and Android. Its interface is quite easy to use that lists your coins and recent transactions.

Trezor uses a 12 to 24-word seed for protection and recovery and a user-defined PIN. You can also add an encrypted passphrase to your wallet for an added layer of security.

what say u?
Of course hardware wallet is safer when it comes to security of asset, the level of security is hard to crack, the issue is that not everybody can afford to buy the wallet  but it's better to have it to avoid loss asset.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is time for Bounty hunters to hold/hodl on: June 09, 2019, 04:59:18 PM
Gone are the days when hunters receive huge sums as rewards in fiat value when exchanged. There were cases of someone making as much as over $10000 in a single campaign and it happened that such coins have dumped drastically by now, so the hunter would have lost huge if he never exchanged and then it was the period of receive and dump quickly.

Right now the trend has changed, it is now the period of receive and hold, anyone that dumps will be dumping for a very cheap amount, may end up regretting when such tokens have pumped several amounts higher than how much was sold. Imagine working for three months and receiving $10 in token exchange value and dumping at such amount where it would be worth about $100 waiting for some months being favored with the impending bull run. Don't let us deceive ourselves, with the illustration you gave how many hunters will having passed through that bad ordeal, to many bounty hunters it's the time to dump immediately you receive.

157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Temporarily stop crypto trading? on: June 09, 2019, 04:51:29 PM
I suffered losses in recent days, and I decided to stop trading for a while. While looking for capital to return to the market. Shut up to strategize and take compensation for recent losses. Have you ever lost continuously and lost enthusiasm? Thank U.
It takes courage to lose continuously and still continue to trade, it's not in the nature of human to lose and still continue and behave as if nothing has happened.
I think you need a break just as you have done.

159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what happens if Bitcoin dies on: June 08, 2019, 08:35:17 PM
we all know that Bitcoin is the best crypto right now.
and many people argue that Bitcoin is the main crypto that greatly affects the crypto market.
my question is, if Bitcoin dies in your opinion, what will happen to crypto and what do you think can make Bitcoin die?
Hopefully that won't happen, if bitcoin die other cryptocurrency will follow suit, i don't think any other coin will survive if bitcoin dies, the only thing that can kill bitcoon is Internet i.e if internet exirt no more.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: June 08, 2019, 08:17:24 PM
Read this several minutes ago. We must be vigilant on what we are investing and must do some research or study first if the project that we wanted to join is legit or not. So sad that there are some ICOs who are just making money for their own sake. Because of this issues, people becomes scared of cryptocurrencies and thinks that other cryptos that are legit are scams too.

http://www.livebitcoinnews.com/denaro-ico-raises-8-7m-and-goes-up-in-smoke/
You are right, we should not invest just for the sake of it, anything we buy should worth th risk are taking, we should stop giving our money to scammers, if they can't get money from people anymore maybe they will desist from the bad act.
