141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market is going down, is it a good time to hold the coin? on: September 07, 2018, 12:08:39 PM
I now have $ 500 in capital. Is this the right time to hold the coin. and what kind of coin should I hold? I need some advice now, Because according to my judgment this will be the momentum for altcoin to explode in the end of 2018

Go for low caps like Bridge Protocol, Narrative, Pareto, Bigbom. The list is long. Check which projects you like. For what cindicator has in place already it is also looking dirt cheap. Or projects like Walton, Wabi, Factom...or Matrix AI, Zilliqa, Rchain, gochain, holochain... lots of potential out there. Or for a start just buy Neo  Grin
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you surprised at the price of ETH? on: September 06, 2018, 09:40:30 AM
I am surprised by the price of ETH as this is even lower than when I bought my first Ethereum. I did not see it go that low to be honest. It really makes no difference for me. Some colleagues are tethering and some are even shorting btc with 25x leverage. I just keep my stuff. A number of projects with a market cap below one million right now are Bigbom, Pareto and Bridge Protocol. Also I would like to mention other interesting projects like Gochain and Moneytoken in case you want to do some researching.

Bridge market cap is 470K USD right now  Huh

Other very low market caps I see right now are Hacken and Narrative.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the Crypto market collapse on: September 04, 2018, 08:23:53 AM
Will the Crypto markets collapse?
You can not discount the possibility!

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/02/07/most-cryptocurrencies-will-crash-to-zero-goldman-sachs-says.html

As far as I am concerned it did already. What you are currently looking at are the ashes of January 2017. A perfect time to buy as the institutional money did not move in big time yet. On top you got all the smarties who tethered some stage this year and are waiting to go back in. Everyone is wanting to short Bitcoin. If 90% of people are shorting btc what is most likely to happen?
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM OR RIPPLE? on: September 03, 2018, 12:54:30 PM
Many people start to invest in Ripple instead of Ethereum. These 2 giants are fighting for the second and third place in the list. What do you think is wise to invest to?

Ripple of Ethereum?
Check out the charts in the past and make up your mind:

Ripple: https://www.coinranker.net/cryptocurrency/ripple
Ethereum: https://www.coinranker.net/cryptocurrency/ethereum

Ripple is not an alternative to Ethereum. I say it again about Ripple: not open, no proof of work, not decentralised and the supply could increase anytime. Also the question about the utility of the Ripple token not answered for me.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: September 03, 2018, 12:51:58 PM
I wish I was joking but this market will take at least 2 years to recover and build momentum again.
Market fundamentals have changed!

Not sure where you take that wisdom. 2 years is a very long time in crypto, longer than I have been looking into it. There is significant decisions for the trading of Bitcoin in the nearer future. Also plenty of people moving back in from Tether and plenty of potential big investors wanting to get in. Current market cap 235 bil USD is of course a lot of money, but not for the whole blockchain market. So overall I think I am more bullish than you.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long time holding, is it a smart thing to do? on: September 01, 2018, 01:04:35 PM
Long time holding is a smart thing to do as far as crypto currency is concern. I have realize that, investors try to play smart in the crypto business in that, they begin to dump most tokens to cause a decline in token prices. This will in turn pave way for them to buy more tokens in other for them to hold for long and sell at higher prices when token values shoot up. In spite of this, is long term holding a smart thing to do as a bounty hunter and why?

Pretty much a matter of perspective. If you have been hodling 2017 or before you are golden if you only got in end of 2017 things might not be looking so good right now. That being said it is still super early days for blockchain. There is enough projects aiming for mass adoption and also enough companies from the "old economy" waking up to the potential of the topic. Things might happen quicker than many suspect today.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin? on: September 01, 2018, 01:00:14 PM
There are Bitcoin, and also there are Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold and B2X that we use it as an altcoin, but do we still need other altcoins? as i knew in the forum on the altcoin section there are much announcement about new altcoins almost everyday. do we still need that altcoins?

Funny question as the mentioned are mainly used for value storage and/or currency. There is a big number of use cases apart from that. Have a look at projects like Factom, Walton or Wabi and see what they are doing. Then you have projects that could maybe exist without their own currency but are still very promising like Hacken or Cindicator. Eventchain for event ticketing is also looking good for me. Then there is the exchanges like Binance, Kucoin or Cobinhood.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto to be abandoned on: September 01, 2018, 12:54:29 PM
With the decline in coin prices and with the increasing number of ico who failed the crypto world began to be abandoned is this a sign that crypto is being abandoned and investors are starting to not trust ico?

ICO are having a hard time at the moment. Only 8 out of 100 recent ICO manages 2x or better. A lot of the others got destroyed. In a market like this everyone is tethering and looking at Bitcoin. I am on the optimistic side. Despite the low prices there is a lot of people with a lot of money interested in blockchain. All that manipulation of Bitcoin will eventually come to an end as it is not about money or technology but about politics. The technology is unquestionable and here to stay.

Also check on projects like Nano, Dexon or Decenternet.

P.S. and Consensus AI
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where to invest 500$ on: September 01, 2018, 12:49:43 PM

150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what exactly are we waiting for? on: September 01, 2018, 12:45:59 PM
Great question for all you cryptocurrency believers. What is going to drive the price of bitcoin up and all the altcoins? What exactly are we waiting for? Money doesnt just come out of thin air. What exactly is the catalyst? Again the question is, what exactly are we waiting for?

All the chartists feel there has to be a final correction of bitcoin to like 4 or 4.5K. Looking at how many people are sitting on the fence keeping tether to go back in cheaper, the low market cap and the interest of institutional investors I find that hard to believe. All are in agreement that after that "final dip" the market will be going bull again... Does all not matter to the long term investor. Things like Neo or Ethereum at the current prices are already a steal. Nothing else.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The fall of cryptocurrency on: September 01, 2018, 12:37:20 PM
What about the crypt? tell me when it will unfold? Or give a sign at least some, because I'm already beginning to think about quitting the game.

Quitting the game now would be the biggest mistake in your life. Blockchain is the biggest topic since the introduction of the internet. It builds on the internet. There is so much to learn. Do some bounties, read whitepapers. There is more information out there than one person can hope to cover. Join telegram and discord channels on projects of your interest. Follow people like Ian Balina or Richard Heart on Twitter.  Grin
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Optimistic Attitude on: September 01, 2018, 12:32:28 PM
Now that the whole market condition is highly disgusting and discouraging, what attitude do you think both investors and bounty hunters should have? In my own view, I think there is a need for optimistic attitude. Many are pessimistic as to whether crypto market will I ever recover. Many crypto lovers keep asking themselves will crypto market ever recover? . The way I look at it is that we need to be highly optimistic for a recovery for better profit making. I don't know if you agree with me.
Please let me know your opinion.

Good things will come to those, who wait. Dont put money you need short term and you will be fine. Spread your investment around. Do your reserach. Invest into projects that you believe in and where you have trust in the ambition and qualification of the team. A lot of recent ICO got completely hammered like Lendingblock, Pareto or Moneytoken today on the first day of trading. A lot of token with actual customers and profits got hammered. You get projects like Matrix or Consensus AI for pennies. Do your research and build a portfolio that suits you. And then just keep learning and be patient.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why am i here? on: August 29, 2018, 09:29:53 AM
Truth needs to be told.
If you ask so many people why they are on this forum, some may not outrightly admit to the fact.
Let us face the fact, majority of us are here to make money. How we then make it varies. Some through trading, bounty campaigns, mining, airdrop, investments and so on. Which means our primary aim is on making money.
Another thing now is how to acquire the knowledge.
Bitcointalk forum is a good place to acquire knowledge and that is why different people come up with different questions and some also have good suggestions to give.
Nonetheless, the whole thing boils down to making money.
Blockchain technology is a free space. So, gain the knowledge and make your money in a legit way.

True at the beginning it was mainly about making money. If you keep reading about blockchain, you start to understand the massive potential of blockchain for society as a whole.

Underbanked people, fight against corruption, guarantee of free vote and speach, next generation money.. The list is endless. A lot of idealistic people in this space fortunately and great communities. I would like to point at Decenternet, whose ICO Sean Kim is clearly an idealist.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How important is a community behind a crypto project? on: August 27, 2018, 03:39:11 PM
Hello all,

I came across this article that talks about the importance of a community backing a project, how important do you think it is? Do you think they can get by through large marketing budgets instead? and do you agree with the article?

https://medium.com/crowdholding-innovation-platform/why-do-you-need-to-build-a-loyal-community-for-crypto-projects-14b9207608c2

Verge is a good example for a strongly community driven project. With that initial partnership with pornhub mass adoption might be on the cards if they can add additional significant partnerships. For new project a strong community can be super helpful with regards to voting for exchange listing for example. Also it will do the price some good if you have a solid community of course.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE OR LITECOIN on: August 27, 2018, 03:05:21 PM
I have more confidence in litecoin. I do not like ripple - it's centralized. I do not invest in ripple, I do not trust

I agree. Ripple is centralized. Also no proof of work and no open access. Also the supply can increase anytime. I do not understand how people can compare Litecoin and Ripple. Before buying Ripple, please try to find an expalanation what exactly the utility of the Ripple token is.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I invest like around 600 USD in to Ethereum, Is it a good investment? on: August 27, 2018, 02:50:46 PM
Hello everyone. I want to invest some money. I have saved around 600 USD. Now I want to invest in.
Ethereum looks like that, it will be a good place to invest some money. What do you think? If I invest my 600 USD into Ethereum, can I able to make some profit? Or there is a possibility that, I might lose everything? Please advice and suggest me.

If you have only 600 USD to work with buy the ETH as planned and then go for some of the follwing low caps (maybe 3):

bigbom
shivom
savedroid
elementh
hacken
cobinhood
Pareto

Especially more recent ICOs got completely hammered with losses in excess of 90%. You might find the one or other gem there.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency back from the dead? on: August 27, 2018, 02:44:04 PM
After several month we saw crypto currency prices is decreased fast, and a weeks ago the price is going up, but now looks go back to the bottom, the chart looks so confusing, but in my prediction if crypto currency getting better in august, so we must be happy, because I believe crypto currency is the economic future of the world. But if this august, crypto currency is fall again or maybe have no positif movement, so this is the end. What do you think buddy?

It was not that long ago that Bitcoin was trading at 1000 USD. To call it dead at a price between 6 and 7K USD would be kind of strange. Compared to ALTs Bitcoin has been rock solid. Bitcoin is not so much about technology but about politics these days. There was a lot of talk about manipulation and price supression. It will be interested to see what happens if the CBOE gets their ETF approval. I just do hope they did not scare away too many non institutional investors by then with their ongoing manipulations.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What cryptocurrency should I buy now? on: August 08, 2018, 11:46:20 AM
What cryptocurrency should I buy now?

Neo
Eth
Sen
Hkn
Zil
Cnd
Ss
Pareto
cob
...

It is a long list. Having some Ethereum and Neo seems like a good idea
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest to Ripple? on: August 08, 2018, 11:43:11 AM
Ripple is a shitcoin as they say, I've heard alot of negative comments about Ripple, they say ripple is a scam coin because it's centralized and majority of the holders are from banks. What do you think? Should I trust Ripple?

I dont like it because it is not decentralized, not open and no proof of work. Also the supply can increase anytime. Some say it is a Trojan horse of the banks. On the other hand they have partnerships with a large number of financial institutions. Well it is not for me. Too many really good alternatives.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My wife tell me that i should sell all of it. on: August 08, 2018, 11:41:06 AM
Hello guys,

I have attended this place since May 2017,
Maybe i like many people here, i was profitable in December 2017, BUT i didn't sell because i think market will up more,
Then like everyone have seen, market has gone down for 8 months, and now i losing so much, but i still wait, i believe that market will go up and i will have profit again.
But my wife was impatient, she told with me "i think you should sold all of it".
I will don't sell anything, but I feel sad because I made her disappointed, she had hoped for me.

Considering selling now might be a couple of months too late. Tell your wife to shut up and be patient. The SEC decision is delayed, again just in time to keep Bitcoin down. There is a lot of parties interested in Bitcoin and blockchain technology in general. I would not recommend selling anything but putting a good exchange like Binance, Huobi or Cobinhood in your portfolio or products making money walton, cindicator, hacken...partly the market cap completely destroyed
