141  Economy / Economics / Re: How will crypto go long term? on: April 26, 2018, 11:31:02 AM
As long as people believe and invest money with cryptos it will last. We all know that the cryptos community will continue support it because it will give hope to the people using and holding it. Many people nowadays are aware the importance and used of cryptos and community supporting on it are continue blooming. Because they seen hope through engaging within. Today, cryptos currencies are fame and many investors are looking to it to invest money within. Through this, I think cryptos will never ends instead it will go a long in many years or long period of time. Let's see the future of cryptos.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoins goal to end governments? on: April 26, 2018, 09:15:03 AM

This is definitely not true.  Government plays a vital role in country's economic status, peace and order, education, business, and other fields concerning in growth and development of country.  Besides, bitcoin might be a possible partner of government in reducing poverty and solving different crimes related to poverty.  Cryptocurrency might be a Government partner in developing new technologies specifically through the presence of ethereum platform that opens an opportunity to launch different projects with high technology equipments and tools  that solve daily difficulties we encountered in our past-face world.  Maybe if bitcoin is widely accepted and legalize, we do not need banks but we surely need Government to run our country.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the government ban bitcoin? on: April 26, 2018, 04:48:34 AM
I think the  Government does not have enough and valid reason to ban bitcoin.  Considering the fact that bitcoin change many lives of people and help to reduce poverty through providing an avenue to reduce unemployment and give chance to earn beyond minimum wage.  The government also do not have the power to control the advancement of technology that might ease the living of their state and nation.   Maybe some government will just implement some law to regulate bitcoin to impose taxes from the earnings investors get from engaging in cryptos.  Logically, if the government really concern and protect their state, they will never ban bitcoin.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency education in high school on: April 26, 2018, 04:24:37 AM
This high school in New Jersey is already teaching its students about cryptocurrencies.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/02/07/bitcoin-education-at-high-schools-and-colleges.html
Believing that the youth is the hope of the future, I am in favor with what the management implement in their institution.  I think this school will produce a technologically equipped individuals.  I salute to Sister Perycylee Hart for preparing their students for tomorrow.  But I think the introduction of bitcoin in high school has pros and cons.  And I think one of those are the following:

In its positive side, those students who early exposed in the concept of cryptocurrencies will become more curious on the possible role cryptocurrency might play in the future and we do not know how far their curiosity reach.  Maybe some of the product of this school will be one of the developers of more advanced cryptocurrency in the future.  On the other hand, early exposure to this kind of industry might corrupt the young minds of teens not to finish their studies because if they do not finish their studies, through crypto, they still have the chance to earn bucks of money.

So, I guess, the school must properly guide their students if they want to incorporate the cryptocurrency in their school.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be altcoins with more value than bitcoin? on: April 26, 2018, 02:50:16 AM
Of course it will take time but I think it will be as altcoin as bitcoin.
There will be even more than one because the functionality of the banks will be reduced and such digital money will be valued.
Upon the introduction of altcoin in the market, there are many spectulation that there is a possibility that atlcoin might surpass bitcoin value.  Their spectulation is based on the  concepts altcoin is just like bitcoin (both volatile in nature and powered by blockchain technology) with additional features and lesser transaaction fees.  Because of this speculations, many people compared bitcoin from altcoin.  More investors also choose to invest in altcoin considering that it has a much lower price in the market compared to bitcoin.

The way how people accept altcoin as good currency as bitcoin brings impact to the cryptoworld.  And as the time goes by, more people interested on altcoin.  Because of this phenomenon, it is no doubt that altcoin might be as valuable as bitcoin in the future but surpassing bitcoin value is another issue. Basically, altcoin's value depend on bitcoin value.  If bitcoin's price pump then altcoin's price dump also and vice versa.

At present,  Considering that bitcoin's reputation in the crypto market is already established, bitcoin remain as king of cryptocurrency but nobody can predict if this phenomenon will remain in the future.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN TREASURE’s on: April 26, 2018, 12:14:34 AM
As we know if you lose or forgot or if you won't remember you password and some kind of security features in bitcoin wallet you cant open your bitcoin wallet and consider that bitcoin is lost forever.

I was hoping that someday in the future bitcoin developers can find a way to recover this lost bitcoins just like old treasure like gold and old coins today. I was hoping that someone can find a way take this treasure bitcoins in their wallet and put back to market again someday. Because if no one can take that bitcoin treasure and put it back to the market bitcoin cerculation suppy will slowly lose forever.
My brother invested in bitcoin way back 2011 upon the introduction of bitcoin in the market.  He is just an IT student by then and simply invest in bitcoin just for curiosity and expecting nothing.  Unfortunately, for the past years, he ignored his bitcoin investments and forget everything about it including his wallet address.  Last year, he tried to recover his wallet but after many tries, he cannot open it.   I understand your concern and I think if your suggestion will be addressed, many investors like my brother will be benefitted.

Unfortunately, there is no way to recover the loose wallet and I think wallet developers make it that way for the protection of its users.  This is because if they made a key to open the lose/forgotten password, hackers can find ways to hack different wallets and many investors will suffer from lost of crypto investment if that happens. Meaning, it is very risky. So, for me, that lost bitcoin is not our fault and we should just charge it into our experience and must leave a lesson for us. We should keep our password and wallet safe because we are accountable for our investment.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Really End World Poverty? on: April 25, 2018, 12:53:55 PM
Can bitcoin really do anything to solve world poverty problem? Brian Singer certainly think so. He thinks that Bitcoin can bring minimum everyday earning for people more swiftly than any other economy system.

Is it possible?

http://www.forbes.com/sites/steveforbes/2015/04/02/how-bitcoin-will-end-world-poverty/
Poverty is a multifaceted issue that every country hope to end. It is multifaceted in nature because it covers not only the deprivation of financial/economic but also social and political aspect of an individual or group of individuals.  Government launches different programs to deal poverty but still many people are the slave of it.  Upon the introduction of cryptocurrencies, it is no doubt that many poor people who are open-minded and believes cryptocurrencies elevates their life status.   This is because the possible income a person can get from engagin in crypto is more than enought to sustain his daily needs. This is the reason why bitcoin is a ray of hope for the poor people to reach their dreams of having a better life.

But considering the fact that aside from having proper knowledge and understanding about cryptocurrencies, pior to engaging in crypto, a person must have at least android phone, net book or laptop or computers with internet connections. Unfortunately, not all people can afford to have this.  So, bitcoin might reduce poverty but it cannot end poverty as a whole.

148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty is like a Box Chocolate on: April 25, 2018, 11:00:12 AM
Being on a bounty campaign is like a box of chocolate you never know what you're going to get.

conclusion:

You never know that a Token you're gonna get have some worth or no.

don't you agree guys?

"Forest Gump Movie Qoutes"
Life is Like a box of chocolate you never know what you're going to get.
Somehow this is true.  This is because there are so many bounty campaigns around. You might get sweet and delicious chocolate or bitter or worst empty box.  Sweet and delicious chocolate stands for tokens who became successful and good token price in the market while the bitter chocolate stands for tokens that is almost worthless. But I believe the "chocolate" you will get still depends on your analysis of the whitepaper, conducting a background check on the developers and deeper understanding on the feasibility of the project.  As a bounty hunter, we are hoping that all ICO we support be successful.  For me, if the bounty project I supported became successful, it gives me much happiness and the token I get is just a bonus.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market will recover? on: April 25, 2018, 08:22:00 AM
The cryptocurrency market have experienced almost 5 months of decline.
And there is no clear sign of recovery.
How do you predict the future of the market?
Please tell me your opinion.
Thank you

Remeber that cryptocurrency is volatile in natue.  Meaning, it has a tendency to pump or dump.  It is not always pumping but also it suffers from dumping. We all rejoice if its price continues to pump but some lose their faith if it continue to dump.  If you are a true believer of cryptocurrency, you will never lose hope even its value dump for a long period of time instead, you will treat the long period of declination as part of the whole picture and do not lose hope for the possiblity of its recovery.  Besides, if you trace the bitcoin history, the continues dumping of price happened last 2014 but we all witnessed how it recovers in 2017.  I do not say that we have to wait for 3 years before it will recover but what I want to express is if bitcoin recovers before, then, it has a tendency to recover again.  It only needs time to estabilize the market.  Just wait patiently and do not lose hope.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shopping using crypto? on: April 25, 2018, 12:21:02 AM
Do any of you have plans on how you'll eventually spend your crypto?

I'll be using Zeex Cool Their protocol lets you to buy gift cards directly with crypto and spend them with major retailers like Amazon, Starbucks, Playstation etc. with no fees. And they're backed by their sister company Zeek, which is already the biggest gift card provider in Europe, so the platform will be up and running quickly after their token sale.

Here is their website if you're interested: https://www.zeex.me/
Wow, that is a great project's concept and I think it is good indication that the market starts to recognize cryptocurrency as a "currency" where your can use it without converting it into cash.  That was an awesome idea to directly use cryptocurrency without any hassle and free from transaction fee of converting it first into flat through the use of gift card.  I also appreciate how different online shop recognizes and acknowledge this concept of transaction.  This is a good sign that cryptocurrency is now on its way on the possiblity of legalizing it to use as a currency worldwide.  I hope that other countries will follow the footstep did by Europe.  I am looking forward to the success of their token sale.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Crypto Currency? on: April 24, 2018, 12:41:52 PM
I just wanted to  know what are your plans on your cryptocurrency in the future?

Do you plan to keep on investing?
Do you plan to exchange your crypto in fiat and leave crypto?
Will crypto survive?

Prior to engaging in cryptocurrency, I was inspired by many testimonies and articles of bitcoin and altcoin investors on how cryptocurrency changes their lives.  That is the reason I  want to follow also their footstep and also believe that cryptocurrency is worthy of a long time investments.  Currently, I do have bitcoins, altcoins, and different tokens.  I understand that some of my crypto and token possession will become more valuable and grow exponentially in the future while some of them also became worthless. Meaning, there are cryptos who will surely survive in the future while there are also some cryptos who cannot survive

I planned to keep for a long time investment those cryptos I believe will play a great role in the future such as bitcoin and ether.  On the other hand, I convert some of my altcoins and tokens into the flat as the need arises.  But changing my crypto possession into flat does not mean that I have a plan to leave crypto.  I will never leave crypto because crypto gave a great impact on my life.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest to Ripple? on: April 24, 2018, 12:13:26 PM
Ripple is a shitcoin as they say, I've heard alot of negative comments about Ripple, they say ripple is a scam coin because it's centralized and majority of the holders are from banks. What do you think? Should I trust Ripple?

I think the best way to identify whether a cryptocurrency is worth to invest with or not is through making your own research about it and analyzing it carefully instead of listening to other's opinions and comments.  If you heard something negative, prior to believing on the hearsay, look for the basis of their opinion and why they concluded that.

Base on my observation, there are a lot of people who trust ripple but there are also some people who do not believe and trust it.  But in my opinion, the ripple is also good crypto because banks will not gonna use it if it is not trusted.  But I am not a great fan of ripple and it is not on my priority list of altcoin.  I rather invest in ether than the ripple.  This is because I deeply understand the ethereum as a platform and how it contributes to the development of technology and gives an opportunity to many people to launch other projects powered by blockchain technology.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does crypto mean to you on: April 23, 2018, 12:00:08 PM
What does crypto mean to you - a means to a fast buck or a step into the future.
Crypto changes my life.  I've encountered a lot of failures in my career before but crypto changes my perspective in work, future, and technology.  It is important to me because my family gets our source of income from engaging in crypto.  It is a bread and butter for me and my family.  But beyond the benefits I get from engaging in crypto is a deeper self-worth I feel knowing that my little contribution in promoting crypto might bring impact to the development of technology and the legalization of crypto worldwide in the future.  I am a great believer that cryptocurrency will play a great role in the future because this is the new face of currency.  It will be a beacon of hope for a better future.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: April 20, 2018, 12:27:40 PM
I have been making an analysis about how people are getting really rich thanks to the increase of BTC and it is amazing to think that people are getting really rich, let's hope and this will continue to the people that hold very little BTC also gets rich.

This is the analysis I made:

On February 1st, 2015 you will need 4,219 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 10,125,600 USD

On February 1st, 2016 you will need 2,681 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 6,434,400 USD

On February 1st, 2017 you will need 992 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 2,380,800 USD

Today you need 404 BTC to have 1 million USD ( the person who has now 404 BTC it is a millionaire, and in Feb 2015 just had with the same 404 BTC 95,757 USD

That is amazing.

I wonder what are the new rich people doing right now? have they realized that they are rich yet?

Your analysis is true and the only bitcoin we need to hold or keep is  404 bitcoin and you will become millionaires. Nowadays the value of bitcoin is constantly rising and there is a possibility that 404 will be reduced further. Or else once the value of bitcoin hit to more than twenty thousand dollars (20,000 USD) or more than we are totally millionaires once we hold at least 400 Bitcoin. Thanks to bitcoin because the holders of it are a giving the chance to become richer. But in third world country, the only need bitcoin is at least 20 BTC and they become millionaires once it converted to there own fiat.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: great believers that bitcoin will survive?! on: April 20, 2018, 10:19:50 AM
im one of those believers that bitcoin will survive, the price and value of bitcoin will increase as time goes buy, even if today the price is too low and not stable, the speculation of others it will pump up in the middle of the year just like last 2017 bitcoin hit the value 1M.. so its possible to hit another 1M or maybe double the price, just stay calm and believe in bitcoin..

I believe that there are still a lot of people like you who are a great believer in bitcoin and I am proud to say that I am one of them.  The way how bitcoin survive through the years is a good indication that it will continue to survive.  If we will trace the bitcoin milestone and history, you will not be easily affected even its price drop and stay in red days for a long time because you are already aware that it already happened before and bitcoin survive and pump its value even more.   So, there is no room for giving up in cryptocurrency and worrying. Be calm and be positive.  Hold on and buy more.  sooner or later it will pump again and those who patiently wait will be the direct beneficiary if bitcoin pump up again.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we share our knowledge to the other people about bitcoin??? on: April 19, 2018, 01:12:59 PM
Before trying to share your knowledge about bitcoin, make sure that you know the basis of crypto and you are true believer in it.  I think you must also have proper knowledge about the concept of money as well as the difference and similarity of cryptocurrency and flat money.  The reason is, if you do not have proper knowledge about crypto and you share it, it might only bring confusion instead of knowledge to other people.  So, you must first evaluate yourself.     If you already know about it then you are now ready to share it.

Aside from that, the best way to share bitcoin to other is through our testimonies about how bitcoin changes our lives.  The way how bitcoin brings impact in your life is an evidence that bitcoin is not that so bad/illegal as what other people tell.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The investment on: April 19, 2018, 12:40:26 PM
Do not invest in coin you do not understand, or even see many people make a lot of money from it.
Calculate your investment in electronic money when your investment is not high, which will help you easily cut losses and exit the wrong trading.
Be consistent with your principles.
Be patient and think hard.
Yes, that is definitely true.  You should understand everything about the coin prior to investing. Analyze the project carefully and know everything about it including its concept and basis.  Your knowledge about the project is the best foundation so you will not easily be affected and panic whatever will happen.   Meaning, you should be a true believer in it and not because other people make money from it.  This is because if you truly understand the basis of your coin, you will not be easily affected even its value deflates.  Principle really matters and you have to stick with it.

But no matter how true believer you are, you must still put in mind that investing is like gambling so, You should not to invest you cannot afford to lose.
158  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you prefer Bitcoin or Ethereum ? on: April 19, 2018, 12:00:44 PM
I was wondering which one was your favorite out of the two cryptocurrencies? I think Ethereum has proved to be more flexible than Bitcoin even though Bitcoin is making the biggest noise

I always prepared for bitcoin because I already know the capacity of this coin. Also, the assurance of longevity of this con is sure and the value of bitcoin will always valuable even at the cheaper price of higher price. But, I always considered Ethereum as the second choice also this coin is one of my favorite. Nowadays Ethereum has a great price and it is simultaneously grown and showing good future. Beside that many ICO nowadays are Ethereum based because of ERC20 and they support the productivity of this coin.

For me, this two coin is both profitable and has a great future. That why I always considered this both even I'm prepared for bitcoin. Then the wise men say that we should always have second choice and not just one.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite altcoin and why? on: April 19, 2018, 05:35:30 AM
I just started in the wild west that is crypto, and happened to trip over ripple and tron when they grew so it gave me a taste of how fast things can go up and down. What are some of your favorite coins right now and why?
Still, my favorite altcoin is Ethereum because I have seen future within even the value of it is unstable. Nowadays the value of Ethereum is rapidly recovering from price dump and hoping it will constantly continue until reach the highest price of it this year. Many speculations regarding the price bubble of Etherum nowadays are existed. Some are telling the price of Ehtereum will hit two thousand dollars (2,000 USD) or more than that. That good to the people like me, believing the capacity of Ethereum to raise its value to the highest price of it. Hoping the future of Ehtereum value will grow this year and I still believe on it. That's why Ethereum is still my favorite altcoin.
160  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin be banned on Philippines? on: April 19, 2018, 05:27:22 AM
I don't think so! But if I'm not wrong I read before the article regarding the regulation of legitimacy of cryptocurrencies in the Philippines. Based on the statement of Central bank of the Philippines. Because they notice that the huge remittances are coming from cryptocurrencies and they decide to legitimize Bitcoin and other cryptos. But for this existence happen in the Philippines hoping it would not affect the lawmaking of bitcoin in the Philippines.

Hoping that the Philippines do not ban bitcoin and any transaction within instead the government of the Philippines continue support bitcoin and allow all transaction within. Bitcoin users in the Philippines are hoping that the bitcoin scam cannot affect the use of bitcoin in their country.

Let's wait and see what will be the next initiative moves of the government official of the Philippines on the crime happen regarding with bitcoin scam.
