Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some.
ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?

There are many legit ICO's and also there were scams. I applied it in myself. I am reading the white paper of the project, doing a research and also asking some of my friends if what can they say about the ICO that I am eyeing to invest with. Thorough research and also the concept of the project. you will know really if it is scam or not. |

There many tactics, but I prefer to hold and wait for revival.
Same here, I think that is the best tactic when market is falling. It is better to wait until they fully recovered and sell on a good price than selling it with the lowest price and incurred losses. Don't be a panic seller. Just remember that this is normal in a cyrpto world. If you can't handle it, you don't invest in it in the first place. |

I wonder how much people have lost money during this bloodbath which never seems to end. Maybe it will continue until the overall market cap is under 100 billion.
I bought Ethereum for 5000 euro in January when the price was 770 euros, and then for another 10 000 euro when the price was something like 900€. I also bought few Litecoins as well. From original 15 000 euro I have only 5000 left now, so i've lost almost 70% for now. I haven't sold anything yet.
ETH supposed to be one of the most stable coins but I really have no idea what I should do anymore. Actually I don't even care anymore if the price of 1 ETH goes to zero and I lose that remaining 5k because I have already lost so freaking much. I even had to put my house on a rent and move back to my parents for the next 1.5 years to recover from these losses if the price does not rise again.
Sorry for opening up but I had to share my story so I can feel a bit better..
Actually there were also some other people who lost during bloodbath but I think the best way to do is to just keep holding especially that the coins that you have are those tops coins in which there is a big possibility that they will recover soon and double their value. You will not incurred losses if you will hold and be patience in waiting because ups and downs in crypto world is just normal. Me I actually didn't lose anything as I am into campaigns in which I am not investing any single penny from my pocket but the money that I got from bounty is the one I am putting into crypto investment as well but not that big. |

crypto is green again, do you thing is good time buy now .
Right now it is Red again. I think it is just normal in a crypto world. Some moths were green some also were red but every year the value of those top coins were increasing , so I think it is still a good time to buy right now especially that the market is red. |

How you find a good bounty campaign?

I usually check the project, the white paper and roadmap if there is at that moment. And also I do the research. check also the bounty manager who is well known for a good project and good in payment. In order to be paid fairly in the end. |

Brand new to the cryptocurrency market. Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC. It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it. I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019. It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin. I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future. Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product. Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere. My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years? I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside. Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC? What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus?
I have nothing against BTC. I don't see it going anywhere. It is the giant. However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

Between LTC and Ethereum, I would recommend you to choose ethereum as the price of ethereum is consistent in increasing and also ethereum and bitcoin is the base in trading. There is a big potential that it will grow more bigger in the future. So for long term Ethereum will be good for hold. |

I noticed since the beginning of the week that i have lost in one of my portfolio -17% of my asset and the other wallet is losing -12%.What is the issue that all altcoin is sharply moving southwards. Is there any regulation or ban by any government or any other issues. He who knows should let us be aware also.
It is normal , like now its all red again but a week ago its starting to recover but suddenly its going down again. So I'm pretty sure this is just normal in crypto world. Just hold and it will be back again , don't panic because it won't help you. market is like this since cryptocurrency is volatile. |

and i think this ico causes bitcoin and etherium prices to drop.never trust again to ico.
Instead maybe of investing if you can join the ICO bounty campaign I think that is better because you will not spend any single penny from your pocket all you have to do is to join their bounties and follow the rules and regulations then after the bounty ended , you will be paid according to your work like signature campaign and social media campaign. in that case you lost nothing. |

Bitcoin keep on falling down and no sign of raising. How long can we keep holding?
For me bitcoin is good for long term investment because although it is falling recently but every year the price is consistent in increasing, therefore if you bought your bitcoin for less than 10k usd I think it is good to hold, even if you bought higher than that you still have to hold and wait for the the market to green or bitcoin to increase the value. We can't tell when but for sure your wait will be paid off. |

You must chose the ICO project that has a good concept and you think has a potential to succeed. Be careful also with scam. chose a project that accept a junior member account, like me I am still a junior member and also joining the bounty right now. |

Now all the markets are crashing down and I don't know what to do with my altcoins. My briefcase fell 30% in a couple of days. I'm afraid I might lose more. Selling or hodl?
Just come down ang relax. Don't panic. Hodl a bit and when the market is green you can sell you alts or you should select only the alts that you think it will not grow bigger and sell them. |

Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.

You are right, the best thibg we should do during the red days of market or falling is t9o hodl our coins because it is normal for the cryptocurrency to up and down so for sure it will rise up again ,wait for that time to sell. |

After participating in ICOs by buying some tokens or participating in bounties, the moment their tokens are listed in exchanges, what do you do guys, do you sell your tokens right away or wait for a more higher price to come?
NO I don't usually sell it right away. I am keepking it until its reach its ICO price or more than their ICO price because you will lost money if you'll seek it on a lower value. |

A while ago i went all in ZClassic and bought about 365 Coins when the price was about 2$ per coin, but i decided to sell a couple of days after.
Two weeks later zclassic mooned and i could make about 80k now.
i learned my lesson in the hard way..
It is normal in crypto world because the prices of cryptocurrency is unpredictable . Sometimes if you don't sell early you will regret, sometimes it's another way around, if you sell early you will regret too. Anyway I think hold is still better than sell right away. Just choose the coins to hold and the coins that you think needs to be sold early. |

I have seen situations where bounty hunters are side-tracked after providing their services towards the success of ICO projects. It is either they are paid less as against initial agreement, or they are not paid at all. I would have mentioned the names of some of those projects, which succeeded, are already listed and yet did not pay bounty hunters. Some things really need to change. We are to be treated with respect, most especially the honest bounty hunters.
I do agree with you , bounty hunters should be paid by their services equally but because we are in crypto world , we can't avoid few of the ICO projects that were not paying bounty after their services, they said their were issues like delaying of distribution or something like that. Maybe we should look for an ICO project which is being handle by those bounty managers with good record. |

It's ok to check the prices and study how the prices and market but don't get too attached because remember you are into cryptocurrency which is the value is very volatile . Just relax and enjoy doing this,don't put a lot of pressure. Join bounty campaigns to avoid investing your won hard earned money so that you will not get stressed.

At first, I am so eager to join most of the Bounty Campaigns, I even ignored Airdrops. But lately, I feel like it's so tiring. Some campaign don't even update the sheet and not even paying us tokens. So you feel like not interested anymore. All those efforts are worthless. Additionally with this Merit system, It felt so useless. My activities and posts are way more than qualified but still merit is nowhere to be found. I tried to create replies, and posts nicely and formally like "Jose Rizal" or even "Nicholas Sparks" but still no chance, it makes me anxious. I think this is the punishment for the late bloomer in cryptocurrency. Lol
It is really hard to level up your rank because of this merit system recently. And some bounties are not paying us also but some are ok. I think we should chose the bounty that is honest and active . Some bounties are just scams but not all. So it is also to us to check the good bounties to join. |

I am really conscious in getting of rewards from the bounty campaigns and i bet many are getting through a lot of the rewards especially in those who are high rank because they are getting bigger stakes than in lower rank. And now i am eager to determine of how much possible to receive a bounty rewards. I bet you to disclose your biggest rewards being provided by the bounty managers. I need you to post that in this thread for future references and study of the cryptocurrency. I know that crypto is growing and conducting a study is the process to help it develop and making a real use since it has a lot of potentials in the near future.
Since I am new in crypto at this moment I can say anything about the reward because I haven't received anything yet but I have heard that my friend who convinced me to join here had a reward of like 1,000 usd because I think she has a higher rank as well like, senior member . I am looking forward also to join more bounties in the future and get that same reward. |

Is buying ETH currently a good idea, or should I be going with Bitcoin?
For me yes it is a good idea while ethereum is still on 600 usd plus because I know it will goes up again as it is moving up again slowly at this moment but either of the two, Bitcoin or ethereum is a good buy for me for long term investment. As Bitcoin will soon be rising up again same with ethereum. |
