141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The first Cryptocurrency secured by the debt of the the United States on: March 05, 2018, 09:22:22 AM
BitWhite (Bitcoinwhite) – the developer of the BTW platform, announced the launch of the campaign to conduct the world’s first transaction for the acquisition of the USA security papers (IBOE) using cryptocurrency.

BitWhite (Bitcoinwhite) – the developer of the BTW platform, which combines the best solutions of Bitcoin and Ethereum, announced the launch of the campaign to conduct the world’s first transaction for the acquisition of the USA security papers (IBOE) using cryptocurrency.

One of the main aims of the BitWhite company is to get the cryptocurrency into a space free from discrimination and restrictions on conventional markets of traditional and reserve currencies such as the Dollar, Euro or the English Pound Sterling.

That is why the pilot project was launched in the function of the world’s first transaction using BTW in the acquisition of a security papers instrument.

The transaction was successfully closed, and at present moment, work is carried out to create and test the platform, where each holder of BTW will be able to invest its funds in the USA security papers and other security papers. The deal amounted to $ 16’984’600 or the equivalent of 3’260’000 BTW (at the rate of $ 5.21/BTW).

Characteristics of the current IBOE package:

• Name: International Bill of Exchange IBOE

• Nominal cost: $100,000,000.00 (one hundred million USA dollars)

• Emitter: the USA Treasury

• IBOE No.: 2048

• Register number: UCC1 – 2009-2374894.152.

• Derivative number: 2009-2374894-38 (number of the registration file of the derivative financial instrument)

• File registration number by the USA Treasury: RC001182260US

• Serial No.: 2048

• Verification: UCC1 Register – 2009-2374894.152 (Kentucky)

• Payment period: 05.04.2020 (prolongation is possible upon agreement)

This transaction was conducted with the aim of creating a reserve fund of the company that provides BTW’s value backed up by living assets and also to start public sales of such types of assets through a cryptocurrency.

The documents were signed in Dubai, where the office of the beneficiary company TiM Works Enterprises Limited owning the IBOE is located, являющейся владельцем IBOE.

The BitWhite (BitcoinWhite) team was represented by E.Y.U Bridge FZE company on power of attorney and on behalf of the BitWhite team.

The transaction is handled by the Global Fiduciary Group, on power of attorney and on behalf of the BitWhite team.

Technical support, as well as the development of a smart contract and platform will be undertaken by the UNG Ltd company.

Tranche in the amount of 3’260’000 BTW was transferred to the TiM Works Enterprises Limited company. At the moment, lawyers conduct all stages of legal clearance to complete the transfer of IBOE to the developers of BTW.

The launch of the public sale is scheduled for Q4 2018, in which only BTW holders can participate.

Upon completion of all technical and legal processes, the BitWhite team will begin developing a user interface and launching a marketing campaign to attract other types of securities to our site.

“A few years ago we could not imagine that a cryptocurrency could become a real instrument of mutual settlements for real things. But today you can buy and sell for cryptocurrency any goods – ranging from a coal carload to art objects and real estate, cars and yachts.

Beyond question, this transaction marks the beginning of a new era in the world – this is the point of no return, where the value of cryptocurrency acquires conventional reserves that confirm real paying capacity. »

«This is our gift to this world – a new reality, new opportunities! »

«Yes, these are the new rules of the game, accessible to everybody!!!!» – BitWhite team.

142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cryptocurrency as national currencies on: March 04, 2018, 08:13:27 PM
the cryptocurrencies will be the national currencies in 10 years or less

it's already happening with some desperate countries like Venezuela. I know they're just trying to do some magic out of thin air but even the attempt counts and creates the precedent.

don't rely on other people with your protfolio. They will just tell you what they hope for, but you will hardly get some good advice on this forum. Just to your own research.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH TO $ 5000 on: March 04, 2018, 08:11:11 PM
Now that Ethereum are used by most ICO's do you think before the end of the year (2018) ethereum will go up to 5000 usd ?
Because for me I believe that ethereum has a potential to get that price before 2019 . What's your prediction ?

it's possible. I strongly believe in ethereum and if I had to choose one token to succeed it would be ethereum. the tech behind the project and the community speak for themselves.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: March 04, 2018, 08:09:26 PM
I just was brought up to speed on groups of people sending in fake/Photoshopped ID's by scanning public records to defeat the KYC process and it seemingly is very easy to do.  It appears that many people sent in fake documentation to the Bob's and Polymath KYC and had no hassles.  How do these companies verify people if all they have to go on is public information?  Did they even really check the ID's or were they simply collected the data?  How rampant do you think this is?  How many of us are complete fools for turning in our documents when others simply faked it.  Now they have our data and the people who faked it are still secure.

NOT FAIR.

I would never ever do KYC for bounty. That is like calling to get scammed. It's risky enough to invest in ICOs, now that KYC is being applied for bounty, that is absolutely ridiculous
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: March 04, 2018, 08:07:31 PM
The number of successful ICO's are decreasing dramatically.  Just wanna know about successful ICO's in the fourth quarter of 2017 and if anybody still believes in  ICO's.

now more than ever! when I see the ICOs are really reshaping many industries and the prices keep growing, we can only imagine where the whole market can be in 5 years
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOIN OF CRIME !!! on: March 02, 2018, 12:08:57 PM
You pay attention. DASH, Monero and Zcash have been listed in the top 3 crimes altcoin commonly used.
According to Jarek Jacubchek, a security expert at Europol, while Monero uses non-transparent bockchain technology, DASH arranges transactions in a way that no third party monitors the cash flow. . Zcash has special security that prevents access to and control over illegal sources.
Maybe this price of 3 coin will down people to monitor the situation offline.

it will be interesting to see how this private cryptocurrencies will be handled once regulation for crypto exists in western countries. I believe btc like currencies will be regulated and monero will get banned
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lympo is now on exchanges on: March 02, 2018, 12:07:09 PM
For those who couldn't participate in their ICO, now Lympo seems listed n exchanges.

can you provide some further info on how successful was the ICO and for what prices were they selling? cmc still doesn't have updated data on market cap etc, I guess it will take them some more days to update
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The perfect currency? on: March 02, 2018, 12:05:26 PM
hey bros, I am fairly new here and have only really been in crypto seriously for about a year, jumping around from coin to community often feeling a void somewhere and wonder if there are any enthusiasts also feeling the same that may have similar ideas and are open and willing to work together towards a common goal. How do you feel about working together? Smiley

I see there are now at least a couple thousand crypto-currency projects and many of them are open source with quite liberal licensing. I wonder if one could not pick and choose through the crypto buffet and create the perfect currency chain?

Ofcourse this is very subjective, we all have different perspectives and therefore completely different ways of interpreting the system and its benefit to harm ratio. If we could be compassionate and open minded, and consider the implications of the systems on all of its constituents we would surely create a system that is simple, secure, accessible, fair, provides equal opportunity and does not oppress or harm people or our environment. I think if all we want to do is keep account, that should be pretty good base to aim for? what do you think?

if you were to devise the perfect system through picking at different components from existing currencies or just tweaks to a currency, what would it be? what would you aim for? what would you choose and why?

If you mean perfect currency for transactions, I prefer nano. If you mean for investment purposes, I like stable options like ethereum that might grow a lot in time but already have proven track of records.

150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell and buy ethereum? on: March 02, 2018, 12:04:23 PM
Selling some things and investing in Ethereum is a good idea?

what things? If you mean apartment, don't do it, so you keep something of real value instead. But if you mean selling some other altcoins, possibly car etc, well why not. Eth should be good investment if you can take some risks
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will blockchain kill traditional banking? on: March 01, 2018, 09:13:17 AM
A bunch of blockchain tech founders debate the question here: https://bitnewstoday.com/opinion/will-blockchain-kill-banks-or-financial-sector-can-use-this-technology-to-improve-its-efficiency/

James Song, founder of exsulcoin , is featured too. He's showing up everywhere these days.

In my opinion it might. That's why so many banks are afraid of bitcoin as their natural competitor. But quite few of them already started implementing blockchain and more will follow
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year will be Red? on: March 01, 2018, 09:12:19 AM

Do you have any good reason to believe that the crypto market is going to grow this year? Do you think we may end up in all red? I do not see the growth and happy investing of last years.

I don't think so. It's been mostly red so far but it's slowly getting back on track and it should gain full power shortly going to green numbers by the end of year, perhaps reaching its all time heights
153  Other / Off-topic / Re: will bitcoin give surprise, ?? on: March 01, 2018, 09:11:15 AM
in this month whether bitcoin will reach the highest price?

I don't think so. I believe the bitcoin will overcome its former peak in few months, but I don't see it happening this month yet. We need more bullish attitude for that to happen
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long and cool airdrop list on: February 28, 2018, 07:01:17 PM

thank you for the list Wink main problem with the airdrops is that they're just not worth it, shitcoins at their best. But when  it works out it's real satisfaction. I'm thinking to try my luck with ELF
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] HomeBlockCoin 🔥 on: February 28, 2018, 07:00:03 PM

156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Waves is always low? on: February 28, 2018, 06:58:23 PM
In its  roadmap  there  are  a lot of  things...  why is always low?

half billion usd marketcap is not exactly low. You could find many projects who would love that. But I agree with you that the project has good potential to grow, it's a reasonable investment opportunity

158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in ZRX? on: February 27, 2018, 06:22:43 PM
Need your reviews about ZRX, is it good to buy?

Planning to buy 1k units of ZRX.

It is a really cool project. Just check the companies already building on ZRX, like Ethfinex and others. More companies mean more success of ZRX, well I see great potential here
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Received An Email From MyEtherWallet on: February 27, 2018, 06:19:57 PM
I received an email from MyEtherWallet to claim some tokens of an airdrop I joined. Hovering my mouse over the link,  I discovered it's a link to another cgi scripted site.

Interestingly you don't create MEW wallets using email addresses.

Guys be careful and be vigilant.

I don't believe the email comes from myetherwallet, it probably just pretends to be from them. So many phishing sites related to mew, everyone needs to be very vigilant!
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favorite coins to invest (vote) on: February 26, 2018, 01:29:32 PM
I would go with XEM and Ethereum. They're both similar platforms with proven track in crypto world. They might not offer the highest ROI but it will be a steadily profitable investment
