141  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't worry, the market will not fall forever. on: March 11, 2018, 06:54:54 AM
The fall and collapse of the crypto-currency exchange rates do not scare investors in comparison with December 2017, but rather vice versa - new crypto funds are launched in the US and Europe. Offering the Swedish exchange Nasdaq Nordic exchange-traded note for bitcoin and ETH, Coinshares Group is launching two new funds: "Active" and "Large Cap" . The first offers a fairly aggressive strategy for investing in promising cryptocurrencies, the latter uses a more passive strategy and a wider basket of digital assets.
If you are in a position - hold.
If you have the finest money - buy in parts.
Everything goes to the fact that in May we are expected again the rally

That is absolutely right. The market will not be forever in red marks. Sooner, it will go up again. But the sad part now is, the recovering moment seems to be very slow. The prices havent recovered for the past five months. I hope that the market will soon rise up again.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: March 11, 2018, 06:52:42 AM
Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley

No, altcoin will not die if bitcoin die. There will be other coin that will take place bitcoin if it dies. This coin will be the new bitcoin and can be as valuable as bitcoin. Anyways, why would you want bitcoin to die. I think we must stay positive so that positive things will come.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: March 10, 2018, 07:04:18 AM
I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years) Shocked and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore,any suggestions?

That is depends on the coins you are holding. Your coins seems to be shitcoins also. It is my first time to hear those coins and they seems to have no value on the exchanges. If you are holding good coins, the  they will giv eyou profit in holding them for too long, but if you have bad ones, no profit at all.

144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: March 10, 2018, 06:57:55 AM
Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin?
We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".
So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?

HOlding your bitcoin is not being greedy, you are just being wise and practical. But holding it for too long may have negative effect on your bitcoin. Like now, bitcoin price is too low. If you did not sell your bitcoin before the dropping of price, then that is the negative effect.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: March 07, 2018, 06:32:08 AM
Does Bitcoin Need The Social Media's Help To Promote Itself?

Well, Bitcoin needs all the help that we can get. With its current situation, Bitcoin Foundation is just thinking out of the box to help Bitcoin recover and might even succeed.

With the help of Social Media, bitcoin can attract new and young users. Learn about bitcoin and eventually adopt it.

Maybe this is the first step of mass adoption.

What do you think?

Social media has a big effect and contribution in the popularity of bitcoin. Mainstram media like TV and newspapers dont actually put emphasis nor even give attention to bitcoin. But through social media, many people have spread the news about bitcoin, gave their confessions and different countries made their commitment to bitcoin.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KYCs (Know your Client) is killing crypto on: March 06, 2018, 08:14:59 PM
When I was starting to get involved in crypto-currency, one of its features that attracts me is the privacy it gives you. Now with all those KYC being required in exchanges and in ICOs and other platforms, some people are beginning to be hesitant in their activities in crypto.

I was also attracted and encouraged to invest in crypto because I know that I do not need to provide my information as invest. The privacy as investor really mean to me especially it involves in the digital world. When KYC suddenly came into action, I do have hesistations. KYC is destroying the rule of privacy in crypto. This is really making investors less and less.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i am newbi so i am late or not to this field? on: March 05, 2018, 10:16:11 AM
Hi,
i am newbi so i  am late or not  to cryptocurrency field?
if train is gone? -Thank you

You are not late in this train because it is still the trend of the cryptoworld. At this moment, you can still invest and buy some coins for you to trade. This is the perfect time for you to invest because the train is still going on
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ANYONE RECOMMEND ME BOUNTY PROGRAM! on: March 04, 2018, 09:52:39 AM
Hi guys, I find out doing bounty also a potential way to earn coins. I have finished Arcblock and earned $1000. Its great. Anyone can recommend me a good bounty?  Kiss Kiss

There are alot of bounty campaigns in the bounties (altcoins). Go and look for the right bounty of your choice. Be deligent enough to read those bounty projects and pick the good ones. Then join and participate.
149  Economy / Economics / Re: Is your bitcoin earnings enough for you to start a business? on: March 04, 2018, 09:50:05 AM
I have a job, and I'm quite tired of working as an employee. I was thinking if I can make my btc earnings a start for a business, what do you think?

Of course it can give you earnings to start your own business. You also need to have a good capital for you to earn monthly. If you will just depend on bounty for earning coins, it will take sometime to have earn for business. Well, if you are hardworking, you can soon have your business.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest or bounty? on: March 03, 2018, 10:41:22 AM
Hello!

How do you prefer to get crypto? Do you invest or you prefer to join bounty?

Also, check out bounty and token sale campaign of this project https://ico.kickcity.io/
Interesting to know your opinion  Smiley

For me because I dont have much money as capital for investment in ICOs, I am relying on bounty. Bounty is giving me good coins as well. Though it takes too long to receive rewards, I still keep my patience and do bounty. It is enjoyable also.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I told my grandma to put all her lifesavings in Bitcoin because you guys said on: March 03, 2018, 10:25:30 AM
it will only go up. She bought at $4200 Sad
How soon can we REALISTICALLY see $4200 again and upwards?

If you did that last year, you had probably rich now, i mean your grandma would been very rich now. The price last year went up, that if you sold your bitcoin during those times. But if you invested sometime December and did sell everything, you had been lose something.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: March 01, 2018, 07:14:48 PM
I can't name any other coin/token, which failed more times than ETH. It's not about loving or hating it, it's all about people losing money, because of situations which can be avoided. I would care less if these ETH based projects were not asking money from the masses, but that's not the case. And believe me when I'm saying that Ethereum has some powerful lobbyists. Otherwise its price would be probably 1/5 from the current one.

Didn't we had enough of this?

I am still a supporter of ethereum. Most cost have a very low value comparing to ethereum. Ethereums price is next to Bitcoin, I may not know why ethereum has higher price than other coins. Ethereum is still the most used coins also after bitcoin. It is widely recognize and has proven its reputation.
153  Economy / Economics / Re: stop being negative and start being positive. on: March 01, 2018, 07:09:49 PM
Good day people of bitcointalk forum!

I am writing this to all those people who are already way in too deep on the addiction of being negative. Yes, this message is for you my dear friends, and for all the others out there that are on the point in their lives where all they see are negative things which are unconsciously getting drawn into the addiction of being a negative thinking person.

Now, at some point in our lives we all have had bad experiences right? I mean, who didn't? You see, whatever it is that you are going through right now, somebody is going through worse(or something like that). Do you know what I mean? Okay, stay with me. So, how do you cope with all the negativity in your life? Wait, let me rephrase that, have you even thought about dealing with all the negativity that you have gone through or still experiencing? If not, then I suggest that you do so. You see pal, most of the people will tell you to just ignore them and look in the bright side instead and be more positive. But ask yourself, has that really ever worked for you? once? twice? a couple of times? Well, I'll tell you why not or why it didn't work out for longer than you have expected. It is simply because what you are doing really cannot make you a positive person. Well, maybe sometimes you think it works but then later on, you start feeling the same way again and you do the same cycle every damn time without noticing a single thing getting better. You do the same thing over and over again with every negativity that comes to you. And guess what? It still didn't work and probably won't ever work. This is most certainly because you are not being positive or doing a great strategy to become more positive in life. Instead, what you are doing is just running away from all that negativity and just lying to yourself using the strategy "looking at the bright side" as a disguise or a cover up for all your running away.

Now don't get me wrong, I sure ain't saying that sitting down and resting is a bad thing(a better thing to say than running away lol). I mean, resting is actually good for the mind and body. In fact, it has been proven that having a good rest physically and mentally can really make anyone be at their best at whatever they do or face all throughout the day(the same principle also applies to your lifetime as a whole). But, as what people always say, "too much of anything is never good." So okay wait, what is it really that we have to do? Well, one thing that really worked out for me is facing all these negativity straight on. I really do not know how to explain it deeper so let me just tell you guys what I did. one day, I went inside my room, closed the door, laid on my bed, shut my eyes and then let my thoughts run freely for a while until I get comfortable. And then I just started thinking about all the negativity I have in my life together with all the positivity. Believe it or not, there were actually quite a lot of images and scenarios that I saw, both good and bad mixed up altogether from biggest to smallest. Memories like losing my first pet, getting kicked out of school, being a disappointment to my family, and so much more. There were also memories of that time when I, together with my team won a school to school soccer competition when I was on 7th grade and that time when I first had a motor bike. I was literally having mixed emotions and didn't notice that tears were already falling down my face. Then it started to get harder to focus on memories that I missed, and the memories that I hated remembering. But then slowly, looking back at all of them, things started to make sense. Then the process of accepting everything as normal things that really do happen in life started all by itself. Yes, it took me a couple of days before achieving this and a few more in repeating it over and over again until one day I suddenly felt this great sign of relief. At last, I have finally been able to release all these negativity inside of me. And no, not by running away from them but by accepting them instead and seeing them as things that make me as a whole or who I am. Something that makes me even better and stronger than ever before rather than something that just cripples me that I need to rid myself off. Acceptance is what I think enables a person to really grow. And it is really ironic how we all need to accept this because the sooner we do, the earlier we start to actually grow. There just ain't no other way around it.

Even though, I really cannot deny that every now and then, I still get carried away by negativity sometimes, I am pretty confident to say that I am now more comfortable in dealing with them. Absolutely more than I ever was. Decisions are more easier, problems weigh lighter and pretty much everything is more bearable than it used to. Yes, this may be a never ending process, but so is life. So you better start early, make it a habit,  start now.

Ooookay! You may be wondering what all these have to do with bitcoins and stuff here or the crypto world as a whole. Well, just look at it this way. In the real world, we experience all sorts of positivity and negativity every day. The same thing goes when we are here in the crypto world. Because whether we like it or not, as much as we need a good working mind to make big decisions in real life, it is also the same here.

Hope this makes sense, reaches and helps you guys in any way.
good day and good luck,

-Similificator

Nice reading your shared story. Well, being pessimistic do happens all the time. In terms of crytocurrency world, you cannot avoid to be negative sometimes especially when you are seeing that your investments are at risks. However, you are right that if we just keep on being positive, we will be able to attract more optimistic things in life.
154  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin changes the world on: March 01, 2018, 07:02:48 PM
Will you dare to change the world using Bitcoin? In what way? Share your thoughts.

There have been many attempts to change the world, but all of them failed. Bitcoin cannot chnage the world. It is created to be a currency, not a channel to change the world. It may change your life or peoples live, but only those who believes and invest in it. Only the governments can change the system of their nations, and only you can change your world, not bitcoin.
155  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: February 28, 2018, 10:39:16 AM
I have read some posts and some concerns that it is the volatility of Bitcoin that is preventing many people and many businesses to fully adopt Bitcoin. This can be the main factor why big online shopping stores are not yet adding Bitcoin into their payment facilities (though there is now a circulated petition for this but I doubt if it can make a dent).

Some are really saying that if volatility can be managed then we can see Bitcoin going mainstream. I am wondering then: Is volatility something that we should find a way to control and how do you think it can be done?

Bitcoin valatility cannot be controlled because it is a part of it. It is also a good thing for bitcoin because people could afford to buy bitcoin when the price is low and they could make profit when the price goes up. It has disadvantage and advantages but the main thing is, bitcoin cannot be stable its price.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines is starting to accept bitcoin. on: February 28, 2018, 10:36:19 AM
Our country just recently held a seminar introducing bitcoin in our country. The said seminar were facilitated
by bitcoin experts and government officials in pursuit of using bitcoin as another form of payment and regulation of it as well.

http://www.wheninmanila.com/5-things-i-learned-about-bitcoin-and-cryptocurrency/

That is seems to be a good decision to the government. In fact, your country have been supporting bitcoin because they wanted to help their people to become rich. Bitcoin in the Philippines is very popular and people are attracted to the high price of Bitcoin.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC - Passports and documents for sale on Dark Web on: February 27, 2018, 10:09:34 PM
There has been a huge influx of passport available for sale on the Dark Web.

Also have seen posts where people are being accused of double entry into ICO's because the scammers used their passport information prior to them getting signed up.

This is worrying situation. KYC is good if the ICO is also legit, however, there are many ICOs that are scam and our information is at risks. These scammers will use the information just to be registered also in other ICO. This thing is really dangerous and must be given attention.
158  Economy / Economics / Re: There's a new economy growing on this forum - Merit on: February 27, 2018, 10:07:03 PM
I love this new merit system. And I see its use beginning to form a new type of economy here, anyone else see it?

I'm not talking about selling merit. There's been a lot of talk about such but I don't think many transactions are occurring. What is happening is that as everyone spends their merit there becomes significantly fewer people that have any to spend. So the sources become fewer and more centralized and the competition to get merit increases.

Feels like an economy on the verge of recession. Fortunately, merit isn't worth much!

I was supposed to be member right now but since merit system is under implementation, I can not do anything but to wait, if there are, people to give me merit. I only need 10 merit but even a single merit is difficult to acquire. I agree that merit system is becoming an economy here. There are people, i dont know if this is true, selling their merits. If this continues, many would stuck to junior member ranks and the higher ranks gets wealthy while the lower ranks gets fewer income.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Im afraid of Hackers/Scammers! on: February 25, 2018, 06:05:16 AM
Hey guys.Im a newbie on crypto world. However i started doing my first money 1 year ago using e personal method. However i have improved and now i have like 4-5k worth of alt which i keep on exchange wallets. Are they safe?Or should i get anther wallet?

And yes,I have 100 % secured with email, number ,long password and 2FA but im still afraid

I think every person who has large amount of coins in their wallet is afraid of scammers and hackers. But if you securely hide your private keys and doesnt use one password on all your accounts in your wallet, you are safe. There is no need to be paranoid about hackers. Hackers will take too long to know your password or private key.
160  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: February 25, 2018, 06:02:41 AM
Yes, got you intrigued, didn't it?

Bitcoin is a very good thing to have as an asset. Just like gold. Even better if I may say. It's secure, and unlike fiat money it actually exists and work is put into it to produce it. This makes it great to store value.
However, it cannot and will not replace current fiat money that the entire world it using. It just cannot.
Take paying a cup of coffee for example. To pay your coffee with bitcoins, one must get bitcoins first, either by mining or buying bitcoins with other kinds of money (*cough*fiat*cough). It ends up being a quite complicated process, don't you think?
Until we reach the point where paying for a cup of coffee is as easy with Bitcoin as it is with cash, we will never get mass adoption. And as far as I see it, there is no way of simplifying the acquiring of bitcoins.

You are right, Bitcoin wont replace fiat currency. Considering the transaction fees of Bitcoin, it is hard to replace fiat currency. Also, what if the store or establishment doenst use bitcoin or internet, how can we pay in bitcoin. Fiat money is easy to use and to handle. It doesnt need anything to do transaction. It is as easy as putting it inside your pocket. Even the existence of cyrptocurrency, fiat money will still exist.
