141  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptopia - Transaction is very slow on: February 09, 2018, 11:15:26 PM
Some of my coins  are traded in Cryptopia. My problem of their system is too slow to transact. It took me an hour to deposit my coins. wew!

Hopefully they will speed up their transaction process.  Huh Huh Huh

Avoid them if your coins are trading somewhere else.

past month I had a problem with transaction and waited 24 days to get useless response of my support ticket.

Cryptopia is good only for small coins.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: KuCoin. Problems with the exchange on: February 08, 2018, 11:41:44 PM
Heard a lot of positive feedback on this exchange and decided to register and transfer ethereum to this exchange. Transfer was made on January 9th from Lykke. The ethereum was not credited to the account. Lykke`s support team  promptly responded and confirmed that the transfer was completed. KuCoin`s support team is not responding for the second week, three requests have been sent. Has anyone encountered a similar one? What to do?

A really bad situation... I don't know why, but exchanges are having problems with processing ETH/token transactions on daily basis. Currently I have one missing transaction to the same address with same token after 8 successful deposits with same origin.

I hope that you will finally get your ETH.

- snip -

Following Key points (and probably more) will be presented at the Event.

New Website
New Logo
New Lisk Wallet in the interactive Desktop App + WebApp
Lisk Shop
Lisk Academy
+ the entire Subreddit will be revamped for the rebrand

- snip -

None of the point on the list could make significant impact. I guess there will be slight price increase because of the euphoria, but most of the changes are just cosmetic.

It's like time-based Mines.

UI is too simple, looks like unfinished.

Add How-to into the FAQ section. We all know what bitcoin is, but we don't know how to play your game.
Agreed but it still looks nice and not complicated unlike other U.I. of gambling sites where it can get confusing because of a complicated design. Also the OP already have announced that it is a new game, why not give them a chance to improve over time. The site seems to be lacking players as well as the pot value in every lottery most often is 0. This would be a fun quick game for players looking to gamble their money.

don't think many gamblers would want to gamble their money here
the site is too simple,it looks like something made in a day, there is no provably fair, there are no real money gmblers(I ve watched at least 20 draws)
and the FAQ section is weird-instead of explaining how to play at the site they decided to put a weird abstract about bitcoins???
like there will be a que of players who never heard about bitcoins to wager at a bitcoin based site
besides any new gambling site has to be aware of the fact that the market for casinos and dice sites and various lotteries etc.
is stacked to the max,so it takes more than just an idea and an effortless try for your  site to succeed
well it is just the beginning ,lets wait and see,but there were literally hundreds of projects like this here and they all died quietly due to the lack of business

That was my idea.

I don't like complicated UI's but this is just too simple and too plain to attract me as a player. We are 2018 now. This looks like '95 site attempt.

Is TKY currently on EtherDelta or I will need to wait the Kucoin listing?

What is the contract ID?

EDIT: TheKey uses it's own blockchain, will need to wait for KuCoin..
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When this dip is over on: February 06, 2018, 12:20:47 PM
I think the dip is over... for now. There are positive rumors about US senate hearing.

But many of the bad coins will not recover.  I think people now will be more selective.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SPF token - SportyCo (undervalued?) on: February 06, 2018, 12:01:14 PM
Interesting. Somehow I missed this, and I love gambling projects.
Sponsoring a La Liga team will give them a big exposure.

SportyCo looks cheap enough to buy it right now.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BEST advice for this Crash on: February 06, 2018, 10:27:19 AM
It's not a bad 'strategy' if you have covered your daily live expenses.

I plan to stop looking at usd price and wait for few month, while looking for cheap and good alt coins.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Remote Hosting Services on: February 06, 2018, 10:08:41 AM
I'm located in UK.

My electricity 12p kw not great i know (hope to reduce a little in April)

I was looking at what other people said around pricing.

£100 per  month plus electric per rig.  1KW is approx £90 a month

As i said this is something new i'm just after thoughts.

Mat

Hi Mat,

I think you will have hard time finding clients.

£100 + elecricity is a lot. For two main reasons:

- Expensive. For this price I can put rigs even for collocation in data centers. Most EU electricity  prices are cheaper. Mine are cheaper.
- Security. Somebody need to trust you his hardware

Hi

i did reply however it got blocked.  Would you be able to message me instead?

Also i was thinking maybe  £150 that includes electric up to 1 KW.

There is no need to message you privately.

I was just expressing opinion. I'm not interested to colo-host with you. I wrote you few reasons why.

Even if you correct your price, the security concerns stays. I wouldn't trust my hardware for few K to a random guy over internet. I'm not the only one with similar concerns, that's why I think you will have hard time finding clients.
151  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dow under attack as well, not just a crypto correction on: February 05, 2018, 11:57:40 PM
Dow down 1000 as of right now. Almost closing in on -2k for the last week!

And it's not on Down and Crypto's. Almost all Asian Indexes are on red.
We just need to be calm and careful on taking decisions about trading and withdrawing from markets.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polymath selling on etherdelta?? on: February 05, 2018, 11:50:41 PM
its a scam, where have you seen a kyc for airdrop, dam sheeps

Agree. I think many people, sending their passports to random project for just few free tokens,  will have problem with frauded documents very soon.

Guys, security first!

154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you know any supplier who sell GPU's at normal price nowadays? on: February 05, 2018, 11:42:42 PM
Do you know any supplier who sell GPU's at normal price nowadays?

The prices are going Crazy from 250 $ to 600 $ per gpu.

Can you suggest me any supplier who sell in normal prices.

Thank you

No, I want to make another 6 rigs and I was looking for 3 days. I didn't find any legit seller with normal prices.

RX 570 for 450-500E?!!? They are crazy as f*ck.

But I guess with current ETH and alt prices we will see a lot cheaper cards on secondary market very soon. Panic selling is a bitch.
155  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you want high price of bitcoin after all? on: February 03, 2018, 11:41:38 PM
At first I want to say: Read my post carefully and don't spam.
We all wanted high price, higher than 1000$ and got it, we got even 19k and there people were hoping more than 20K, they think like it's infinitive.
Did so high price do a good job? No, higher satoshi/byte fees became even higher in value because of price rise, some exchangers closed registration and etc. In reality there was no need of 19k but I think currently it's best to see price between 5000-8000$. There isn't so much demand.
You want high price to get much from holding? Seems you hang on bitcoin and are only selfish.

Interesting question and when I'm looking at myself, I think the answer is selfishness.

I have x bitcoins and I like to see it high, as big amount, compared to usd. Or even when we are comparing ourselves to friends with corporate career and asking ourselves did we make the right choice?
156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is 7000 usd down on: February 03, 2018, 11:25:54 PM
What happened to Bitcoin this month?

Anyone has a really good explanation about why is so down.

They say it would go to 50,000 this year..

I think is not going at all!!!!

Don't panic. There is plenty of time to go to 50,000 this year.

Just remember the bitcoin price before 90 days. People was over exited about Bitcoin getting to a new high of 5-6000 Smiley
157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mindset over Winnings on: February 03, 2018, 11:16:38 PM
I may had on mind similar questions, but 10-15 years ago.
From many years I'm a mindset of professional gambler and I'm following very very strict bankroll management.

Also, I'm avoiding casino games expect the rare occasions for recreation and with very limited amounts.
158  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io - Tennis Price Boosts! 🎾 Live Streaming! 🏈 Daily Promotions! 💰 on: February 02, 2018, 10:44:13 PM
Major Site Update!!!
In the first of many to come, we've just released a site update! Promo pages neatened up, a lot more desktop friendly, and a few other tricks installed...  Smiley
Let us know what you think! Come to think of it there is a Promo yet to mention...

Super Bowl Price Boost!!! Best price on the Eagles in the World?!

The countdown is on to Super Bowl LII where last year's NFL title holders the New England Patriots face the Philadelphia Eagles!

In the AFC divisional playoffs the Pats came from behind against the Jaguars 24-20 for a chance to retain their title, however in the NFC the Eagles demolished the Vikings with a 38-7 win.

Could this be the match that breaks Tom Brady's back? We think so, and are placing our money and a massive Price Boost on the Philadelphia Eagles!

Make a bet on Philadelphia Eagles to win against New England Patriots and we'll give you a price boost from 2.55 to 3.30!

I think you are making great promotions but max stake is too low. For example, I'm betting in range 100-500 mBTC and I'm not lured for 5 mBTC to waste time on opening site, search the game, etc.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Red days resistant portfolio on: February 02, 2018, 10:40:35 PM
As I am writing this, most coins are have been in red all week and look like they are going to stay like that for a while. In moments like this, one wishes to know how to build a more resistant portfolio or have a strategy to minimize the drops by buying stable and selling speculative coins.

So, I am looking here for coins that are less related to Bitcoin or that are even able to grow when the heavy dips came. One of them is probably NEO (as today)... any others that you have seen having resilience? (please don´t just list, give a view of the coin)

I don't think there are any 'red days resistant' coins and I will give an example.

Yesterday ETH was the biggest winner in BTC value. Now it's back to 0.103.
NEO was one of the biggest losers this morning, not it's fine again.

Just be careful and never trade/invest more than you can afford to lose.
160  Economy / Economics / Re: India Budget 2018-19 | Arun Jaitley, Finance Minister of India on Cryptocurrency on: February 02, 2018, 10:32:25 PM
Source: https://steemit.com/remedcu/@remedcu/india-budget-2018-19-or-arun-jaitley-finance-minister-of-india-on-cryptocurrency

As quoted by Arun Jaitley, Finance Minister of India about Blockchain & Cryptocurrency in India's budget 2018-19:

"Distributed Ledger System on the Blockchain Technology, allows organisation of any chain of records or transactions without the need of intermediateries.

The government does not consider Cryptocurrencies as legal tender or coin. And will take all measures to eliminate the use of these crypto assets in financing illegitamate activities or as a part of the payment system.

The government will explore use of blockchain technology proactively for ushering in a digital economy."

Interesting reading because I was wondering why they banned all coins. Seems they want to control it all and I'm pretty sure that India's government will run crypto-Rupee in 2018.
