I don’t think Russia are going to invade Ukraine.

To my understanding, Russia will not be invading Ukraine, because they would not be able to survive the trade sanctions levied against them, as a result.

They have immunity to all trade sanctions. Russia doesn't want to feed 40 million people of a bankrupted country like Ukraine. Let Anglo-Americans and their EU satellites feed them. Russia will just wait till West Ponzi collapses in full.

❗️UKRAINE HEADLINES❗️

UK FOREIGN OFFICE ADVISE BRITISH NATIONALS TO LEAVE UKRAINE

PBS :  THE US BELIEVES RUSSIAN PRESIDENT VLADIMIR PUTIN HAS DECIDED TO INVADE UKRAINE, AND HAS COMMUNICATED THAT DECISION TO THE RUSSIAN MILITARY, THREE WESTERN AND DEFENSE OFFICIALS SAY

That is boring. It will get really interesting if some countries advise their nationals to leave UK and US. Russians believe Anglo-Americans have already decided to push their ukro-puppets in Kiev to invade Donbas.

Anyone got any ideas on why the mempool has ballooned out over the last day to some 50+ blocks?
Number of transactions is about 10k. Obviously, some of those transactions must be really big in size. Soon they must drop out of the mempool on most nodes that have default bitcoincore settings.

Well, who sold at the bottom?

Russia had given assurances that if Ukraine gave back its nuclear weapons, its territorial integrity would be guaranteed.
According to the same treaty Russia and US have given assurances that Ukraine will be neutral. In 2014 Ukraine lost its neutrality. One of the first decrees of the Kiev's junta was to apply for NATO membership.

Well they were kind of forced to do that. Ukraine was not willing to let Crimea be independent, and there would have been a lot of bloodshed. And by law, the Crimean give-away was legally void. So either Russia took Crimea or would have watched Crimea turn into a bloodbath. As I said, I have yet to hear a single Crimean complain about the annexation.

Crimea giveaway - 1954
USSR collapse - 1988-1991
Crimea annexation by Russian Federation - 2014

I'd say "by law" didn't have too much to do with it by that point. Same old rule of conquest. If you can keep it, it's yours.

In 2014 the entire country of Ukraine was annexed by the US through classic coup d'état. Russia just saved Russian people in Crimea and Donbas from living in the American colony of Ukraine (aka Nulandistan).

That my friend, is the way to keep it. Never let your normie friends know how rich you are Wink
This is exactly the reason why I lost my friends.

Now my friends are my family.

and

This tweet makes no sense; the Russo-Ukranian war began nearly 8 years ago and is still ongoing.  Also, exactly what problem would we be part of?

It is not about Russia vs Ukraine. It has never been. It is all about USA vs Russia. Ukraine was annexed by the US in 2014 and seized to exist as independent state 8 years ago.

Don't forget the apparent alliances forming with Iran & China. Game theory this... simultaneously Russia moves on Ukraine as China takes back Taiwan and Iran launches into taking over large swaths of Iraq & Syria to create a direct front against Isreal.

The single reason for war hysteria switching to wartime propaganda mode is the need for war. Anglo-Saxon world is bankrupt. They need war to write off the mountains of non-performing debt. However, if there is a war it won't be the one they need! At the end they will have to pay back everything they owe to the rest of the world. Germany and France must be very careful not to side with the warmongers!
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Core 22.0 walletrbf=1 in bitcoin.conf is ignored on: January 16, 2022, 11:24:22 AM
Are the transactions you are looking at unconfirmed? It is only "yes" for unconfirmed transactions as only unconfirmed transactions can be replaced.

Hmmm... Haven't thought about that! Transactions are confirmed. Just tested and for unconfirmed transactions it is "yes", so walletrbf works as expected. Although, it is a bit counter intuitive if "bip125-replaceable" key/value (yes/no) still exists for confirmed transactions. Maybe something like "was-yes/was-no" for confirmed transactions is better? Thanks for responding, achow101.

Are you using the GUI?

Using bitcoin-cli. Thanks for responding too!
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Bitcoin Core 22.0 walletrbf=1 in bitcoin.conf is ignored on: January 15, 2022, 05:40:06 PM
As I understand RBF should be enabled by default but it is not. All "category": "send" transactions show "bip125-replaceable": "no". I have put walletrbf=1 in bitcoin.conf file and restarted bitcoind but no change. Are there any changes in RBF functionality from previous versions I have missed?

The more solo mining, the better it is for the network.
Correct me If i am wrong?

How do you know it is solo mining?

Is he special?  Cool
Yes, he is! The puppets from the Australian government just can't afford unvaxxed person to win Australian Open. Simple as that.
153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 11, 2022, 07:46:50 AM
If you'd like to post this antivaxxer bs please do it in Bawb's thread!  Cool

There is a pattern in this thread. Fanatical provaxxers in general are nocoiners! They fanatically believe in what their government says and fanatically repeat every directive from the corresponding ministry of truth.

IF we continue to keep seeing footballers, and tennis players having heart attacks on TV, and more of us have friends taken out randomly by heart attacks and strokes eventually the genie will be all the way out of the bottle.  I think we are already there.  It's just a matter of how bad does it get.

the human mind has a tendency to look for patterns, even when there are none.
heart attacks in sportsmen has been an issue for a long time.
here's a rudimentary list of notable sportsmen having sudden cardiac death by the age of 40:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sudden_cardiac_death_of_athletes#Notable_cases
note that the list goes back as far as 1906.

a paper written by the guys from American College of Cardiology in 2016 (https://www.acc.org/latest-in-cardiology/articles/2016/06/28/07/06/sports-participation-and-sudden-cardiac-arrest) reads:
Quote
In the United States, there are approximately 100 to 150 sudden cardiac deaths (SCD) during competitive sports each year. The estimated incidence of SCD among athletes versus non-athletes was found to be 0.44 per 100,000 person-years, and 13 per 100,000 person-years, respectively. Despite the higher risk of SCD in the general non-athlete population, SCD among athletes garners intense scrutiny by the media and represents an emotionally charged medical topic. Indeed, the incidence of SCD in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) athletes may be higher than previously thought

Perfect post! Conspiracy lies exposed mercilessly!  Cool

Every uncomfortable truth in the beginning is just a conspiracy theory! One should be very careful when quoting wikipedia as the source of ultimate truth. I can judge that by the events I witnessed during my life and how they are described now in wikipedia.

I’d have to disagree with the above. I’m not seeing capitulation in the market right now at all. I’m seeing lower lows on low volume indicating that we are still awaiting that max pain moment. It seems unlikely that we will turn upwards without a massive volume spike corresponding with a ton of selling. I’ll feel better once that volume spike and drop are in the rear view and with a little luck it’ll happen without digging us too deep into the 30’s.

Nobody really knows what is the volume in the OTC market where shadow banking cartel operates. This drop has nothing to do with situation in KZ. Mempool is empty. This will be a very short lived drop.

The Fed has signaled it might have to raise interest rates sooner than expected to fight inflation.

This is all they can do. Signal... They will never raise rates because they can not. Fed is broke!

TL:DR: Everything looks fine.

After the nice attempt to recovery yesterday and then the fall I was a bit puzzled.
I was hoping for some somebody come with the numbers and charts.
Thanks.

Nothing to worry about. Lower rate by the end of the year less taxes paid in fiat. Expect impressive bull run in Jan, Feb, and March!

Feels like a bit more goalpost moving to me … the earlier statement he is trying to redefine was pretty clear:

Quote from: PlanB on Twitter June 2021
"I will call s2f invalidated if we have not reached 100K by Dec this year ..."

(My highlighting)

That is exactly what naked short sellers from the banking cartel want you to feel like!
