Napísal som im, a pravdepodobne to funguje inak ako sme si mysleli:

Hello.
I see there is no Slovakia or Czech republic available in the list of countries.
If my understandings of how your system works are correct, all needed to include those countries and local carriers is to get some credit-recharge coupons. Currently, we have 3 Cell phone network operators in Slovakia. Orange, Telekom (form. T-Com) and O2. There are also 2 virtual ones. Fun phone - operating under Orange network, and Tesco mobile - operating under O2 network. If you are considering to enter our local market, feel free to contact me. I would love to cooperate with you.

Best regards,
Deafboy

Hello Deafboy,

I appreciate you reaching out - it helps us prioritize which features we are going to add next. Right now we are depending upon our 3rd party processor to make specific carriers / products available. We can put in a request with them, but since Bitcoin Wireless is still a young service - I have no estimate of how long it will take to get straight talk on board. For any news and updates on new features / products - check out the bitinstant blog.

---
Sincerely,
Rachel

The US operates under some pretty bizarre banking principles. There's not really direct deposit, you simply give a company access to your bank account. And without direct deposit, there's no direct deposit guarantee so if something goes awry, it can be the devil of a time stopping it. Some people maintain multiple bank accounts for this reason.
Waaait a minute.. what's the point of such bank account? Giving a company access to my account? What? Why? Now I think I get the huge number of alternative payment providers in US. Direct transfer ability between accounts is the only think preventing me from closing my bank account.

Yes! Bring back the zeppelins!
And now, imagine something like freedom tower with Tor node installed on that thing.

Vie niekto v skratke popísať ako bitcoinwireless funguje? Len sa cez to kupujú čísla dobíjacích kupónov, alebo spolupracujú priamo s operátormi a dajú sa platiť aj paušálové mesačné faktúry? V sekciíé How does it work to nieje celkom jasne vysvetlené...

A nevidel by som to tak negatívne. Češi predsa majú Slush-a, ktorého pozná snáď každý na tomto fóre a Slováci majú chalanov s Progressbar hackerspace, ktorí nedávno organizovali s Genjixom konferu s medzinárodnou účasťou v centre BA. Nehovoriac o tom, že na konfere v Londýne malo Slovensko väčší počet prednášajúcich ako ktorákoľvek iná krajina. A v tej dobe sme tu boli, čo sa BTC týka, naozaj 100 rokov za opicami.

The only point to buying ASICs and mining, is if you get more profit than just bying BTC directly.
But what about the fun? Mining is FUN! I enjoyed the braindamage caused by noise as much as I could in the good old GPU times. ASICs kinda starts the game from the beginning again.
+ you have a collection of strange devices which purpose is unknown to most of the regular humans.

"What's that strange noisy silver/black box you have here?"
"This? Not a big deal, they are just sitting there protecting the largest distributed P2P network in the world... and creating money."

I still think he has at least a weak... maybe two until GPUs will be worthless to miners. I mean... There are exactly 2 ASIC rigs in the wild at the moment.

I like the OP of MPOEs Bitcoin business topic, but I wasn't expecting anyone to follow it! Thanks for your great introduction.
I almost feel bad that I'm not into trading on traditional exchanges.

Do you have ATI GPU with official drivers installed?
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi actually Richard Stallman? on: February 06, 2013, 04:00:53 PM
I met Stallman in the London conference and he was quite clueless about bitcoin as a whole.

I doubt he's such a good actor.
This is my conclusion too after I heard him talking about BTC.

I wonder what happens to everyone's bet BTC if the site just goes dark.

I have some long-term bets there, but I don't think it's really so different than any of MPOEs projects.

In Slovakia, the gov. stole the land from people to build a highway. 10 years ago. Some of the people still did not get any money.

You heard of wikileaks, right?

Yes, I know what is Wikileaks.

158  Other / Off-topic / Re: Release of GLBSE's Documents on: January 21, 2013, 05:18:08 AM
Sure, there is possibility that documents are fake or has been altered. People should be aware of this.
However same argument was used by Giga and others regarding the shareholder list from Nefario. They simply said it could not be trusted. Giga then forced all shareholders to identify themselves. But that's another story...
159  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: why does Blockchain shows your nickname??? on: January 21, 2013, 03:11:51 AM
It's nice feature and all data are from public sources. Why people creep out when someone connects 2 pieces together?  Smiley
160  Other / Off-topic / Re: Release of GLBSE's Documents on: January 21, 2013, 01:20:43 AM
This might be a silly question, but considering that Nefario already lost all the trust and share issuers are slowly getting over all the shit caused by the infamous "cleanest shutdown ever", what's the point of this stupid voting thread, and why don't you just release what you have so we can all learn from mistakes of GLBSE?
edit:
I really hate people who are publicly saying things like "I got these interesting documents that could get him and him into the trouble" but not willing to release them. I meet people like this every day, and I am sick of them.
