141  Other / Off-topic / Re: List of Venture Capital Groups on: February 24, 2020, 01:02:03 PM
I have a list of over 100 angel investors, shark tanks and VC's contact details. I can share it with you but a lot of hard work has been made to
acquire all their contact information. It's the list of investors and contact details that save A LOT OF TIME and can keep any start-up afloat
in difficult periods.

$1000 in BTC, ETH and it's yours

We don't have management but the competition is fierce in the crypto market.
No one knows what would be the market cap of Bitcoin in 5 years now. The price might be 100k but it might also be 1$. None expected that the price per share of this bank would end up less than 3$, same as we don't know the exact price of bitcoin.
That's not very logical, not a chance it's under 1000$ unless some very very specific circumstances.

Thing about bitcoin now is that you need a lot more of fiat for a single coin, thing that might get some of us not very up for it.
eth and xmr are promising as hell anyhow.

Who said btc can't reach 200000$?

Wise words here.
In the worst case scenario we get a forced 51% attack made by a team of nodes, forcing a "go back in time" movement, somewhere in 2011 where the reward was still high and the price
was much more affordable.
All transactions deleted until there. Ross Ulbricht account is not seized by the FBI. Everyone is a bitcoin millionaire  Cool

146  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Ideas how to earn 6000 EUR fast on: February 21, 2020, 03:26:12 PM
to get something valuable for 6000EUR that is worth more than that

I don't remember which billionaire said this
Quote
one thing is valuable as long as others are willing to buy it. Remember to always ask yourself first why the person is selling it

In relation to your question, find a job that can pay $10,000/month and you work only 5 minutes a day. If one of the richest man in the world says that, then it's possible  Smiley
For the reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sa2_VBu0d7k

You say you are willing to get €350/month to get to your €6,000 which means you're willing to work for 17 months. Message me to speak on telegram and let's brainstorm on some problems that can be solved
147  Other / Off-topic / €202k to €2 on: February 21, 2020, 03:02:16 PM
If one bank, at some point in time had its share at €200k euros, then there is no freaking reason why we Bitcoiners can't have a Bitcoin worth $100k. This is more than possible, believe me.
Buy today and thank me 5 years later.

Today this bank's share is less than €3 which indicates their poor management. We don't have management because we don't need it. We don't have someone that can fail our "project", don't be blind and buy it before
you regret it. Share it on twitter so the world knows

150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ETH Mnemonic Question on: February 18, 2020, 07:29:59 PM
So a mnemonic can be a 12 or 24 words coming in a specific configuration from BIP-0039 list of words.

Does that mean that a mnemonic could technically be the "key" to access funds in 0x0? ( https://etherscan.io/address/0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 )

I know the chances for finding the exact mnemonic are impossible but I want to understand the concept.

If say one person magically finds the mnemonic for 0x0, if they increase the wallet path will that give them access to 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000001?
151  Other / Off-topic / Re: BINANCE SCAM ALERT!!! on: February 18, 2020, 07:25:24 PM

Better edit the title into "Fake giveaway-Binance" or something more detailed which describes the issue.Because when people read this topic they will think this is just a troll post about Binance.

And its really need to be moved somewhere like Beginner &Help or in scam accusation to help people.

Edited the title as advised. I posted it here because more people come than in scam accusation subforum.
152  Other / Off-topic / FAKE GIVEAWAY - BINANCE!!! on: February 15, 2020, 12:53:28 PM
I found this live video. PLEASE REPORT TO AVOID MORE PEOPLE BEING SCAMMED

https://youtu.be/je1vflD429Y

They are impersonating binance in a live and asking people to send money (ether or bitcoin) but it's a scam.

The ethereum address of the scammer already received $1k in past 10 hours 0x5a167ca0b70482bae7004b3a7cc216af7149abcb

153  Other / Serious discussion / Re: So many Exit scams Now on: February 12, 2020, 10:54:20 PM
The market is just getting over saturated so only the good long-lasting coins remain. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tron, BNB, USDC, etc. are safe
but I really doubt about the future of any coin that has been released in the past months. Most of them solve problems that are not major. They were
just an excuse to have yet another ICO / IEO. Obviously there may still be some good of them but low chances.

From experience I learnt that you need to solve problems that move the market. If you tell me your coin is more private, this doesn't really "move"
masses.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: David Chaum's XX Coin on: February 12, 2020, 08:42:58 AM
Early Elixxir follower here

It used to be Elixxir coin on Elixxir network, then it became "Praxxis, David Chaum quantum-resistant currency", now it will become xx-coin which is an erc1404 that you can get on erc20 wallets

They allowed some people to run nodes on the main network in the early days but apparently you had to go through a "beta" centralized selection decided by them + have equipment to invest in Elixxir of over $1,000

It is just not appealing anymore. This looks like a complex project, solving a problem that is really not moving users (do you really think people will leave bitcoin just because they want more privacy?), a problem that has also been solved by others. Maybe the only addon is the quantum-resistant feature.

Sorry guys but I'm out

156  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Point of Lending Crypto services? on: February 07, 2020, 09:13:23 PM
A question just popped up in my mind. What if there would be an online lending platform for crypto where users need to prove their identity and proof of address. In case of
fraud (stealing crypto away), they are taken to court.
Would that ever be sustainable?  Huh
157  Other / Serious discussion / Point of Lending Crypto services? on: February 07, 2020, 09:11:10 PM
I recently found out that there are some sort of lending platforms where users can borrow crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc).
Because of the risk involved, on most platforms users have to place a collateral of at least 100% of the borrowed amount.

If you want to borrow $100 worth of Bitcoin, you will deposit a collateral of $100 worth of Ethereum or Litecoin.
Sometimes you need to deposit more, like 125% of the borrowed amount.

What is the purpose of these companies and how can they survive? Why would someone use a borrowing service and
pay interest rate when they can exchange their collateral on exchanges and never suffer those interest fees in first place?

159  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do people get credit cards loan? on: February 06, 2020, 04:21:22 PM
As the topic creator, my mind and opinion on credit card loans have changed so much.

As an entrepreneur in need of capital for cash flow reasons (customers not paying on time, need to pay employees, etc.),
using a credit card loan has made my life so easy. I realized that some companies (small ones) could go out of business if
credit card loans did not exist.

My friend had a small business contract in December that he could only fulfil if he took out a loan of £30k (~ $40k). I have completely
changed my view and, if you don't think they are useful it means you have not yet had a problem that would be solved
by this quick loan.

Don't take loans if you risk not being able to repay, but take it if needed to move forward and make progress in life.
160  Other / Off-topic / Re: 5% on Binance still loss? on: February 05, 2020, 10:57:57 PM
Tried doing it again, still same loss results despite being profitable https://youtu.be/bG10ZI3GEqY

I looked at this clip and while I've never used that platform or have any idea what your account balance looks like, it appears this is what you did.

Shorted 0.06 BTC @ $9705.89
Covered your short @ 9704.95 (a profit of $0.06 on your trade)
Paid $0.11 in fees

End result is that you lost $0.05.  My guess is that you were shorting slightly more BTC than you had in your account which triggered additional margin fees.  Not sure where you think you made 5%, but my guess is it's a misunderstanding of what "mark price" actually means.

Thank you for your comment.
The PNL is "Unrealized profit and loss on this position calculated based on Mark Price, and return on equity percentage.". It becomes realized profit when you obviously sell it.

The mark price and PNL (ROE%) are misleading for me but now makes much more sense.

This is a video where at current indicated time the ROE and PNL actually work as normal
