All we need is more education. If it sounds too good to be true, it's not
442  Other / Off-topic / Re: VR can increase your income? on: November 06, 2018, 12:12:09 AM
Already saw some things like that. It was a hotel in Dubai if I remember well which would allow you to see inside the rooms. That was on Facebook few months ago!
I believe VR is a great effort for user experience
443  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: AN EASY ETHEREUM CLASSIC GAME on: November 03, 2018, 10:51:21 PM
Can you explain me more the purpose of this game?
Is it just for fun or to make profits?
444  Other / Off-topic / Re: Virtual Reality Makes Space Tourism Possible on: November 03, 2018, 06:22:45 PM
Are you guys crazy?Huh

Seriously? So instead of actual travelling you prefer to lie to yourself? Have you ever
been somewhere in your life to understand the experience?
How can you compare 'visiting the Grand Canyon' as a real life experience
with visiting the Grand Canyon in VR?
I'm honestly disappointed by this topic
445  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fear Of Public Speaking on: November 03, 2018, 11:38:27 AM
I have other problems man.

Basically I can speak in public, I can talk with groups of people without feeling any pressure.
The problem is when I talk to a very very attractive person when I feel that my brain shuts down. But that's just for the first 10-15mins I get to know that person. I'm fine after yet I would love to not feel that way...
446  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: Should bitcointalk play a part in educating its members?. on: November 02, 2018, 11:10:05 AM
It does it already indeed but would be better if we had entire sections dedicated to that
447  Other / Serious discussion / Where it all started on: November 02, 2018, 01:00:45 AM
We have many new people on the forum so I write this to make sure everyone knows the most important thing: who is Satoshi Nakamoto.
Bitcointalk was founded by Satoshi Nakamoto who also founded Bitcoin. But was bitcoin a bitcoin before being a bitcoin?
It will make sense in a few moments.

Things you must know: Satoshi Nakamoto is an anonymous and doesn’t refer to one person, it refers to a group of people. You can’t make bitcoin famous all by yourself, can you? Even if you had the knowledge to create such a system, how can you market it in 2009 to make it have value? People just went through financial crisis, they wouldn’t believe in a digital coin, would they? Even if bitcoin started on deep web, what criminal would accept 'bitcoin' instead of real cash? It is logically a group of people behind it. Still we must appreciate their mastermind!

It all started in 1998 when Nick Szabo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Szabo ) invented BIT GOLD, a decentralized digital currency. NINETY-NINETY-EIGHT. Some people reading this weren't even born.

Have you ever heard ‘If Bitcoin is Gold 2.0, Litecoin is digital silver’? Going back to our question ‘was bitcoin a bitcoin before being a bitcoin?’ we can say it wasn’t. In fact, it was a bit gold. It is so clear that the inventors wanted to make a ‘digital value’ just like gold is in our physical world, and they succeeded!

Szabo is denying being Satoshi yet there are no public research papers where ‘Satoshi Nakamoto’ could access to inspire himself from Szabo. Furthermore, in 2008 it seems that Szabo wrote a comment on his blog regarding creating his currency. bitcoin was founded later in 2009. Nothing suspicious?

Plot twist: He is right. Szabo is not the only person behind Satoshi Nakamoto. There are other people including some who passed away, a $5 billion Australian ‘computer researcher’ who apparently stole the bitcoins from one of the founders, and many others.

But wait! Is Ethereum something else completely separated from bitcoin? Guess what, Mr. Szabo is also the first person to invent the term 'smart contract' which WAS NEVER USED before Ethereum. Nothing suspicious?Huh
We are living the highest and best planned scheme ever yet it's so beautiful....

Happy birthday I guess!
I agree with your point of view. I feel that bitcointalk has enabled me and many other people to be updated with the most current trends and releases. Whenever new projects are released, they are posted on this great forum.
I wish you to reach your goal and aims, we keep in touch!
449  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Women in Crypto - Where are they and who are they? on: October 30, 2018, 09:55:11 PM
I know a university lecturer (woman) who had some 500 bitcoins back in the days when it was worth $1 and she sold them. She was exposed to Blockchain before many other people but I guess she didn't believe in it (who would have anyway?).
450  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump wants to end birthright citizenship on: October 30, 2018, 09:53:26 PM
That's interesting.

Imagine it this way. I am a [insert nationality] and I go on holiday to US with my pregnant wife. My wife gives birth and the child receives US citizenship. We, [insert nationality] have a better chance to receive a permanent VISA since our child has the nationality.

Let me explain you further: If you [insert nationality] were to go to US and merry a US woman, you would nearly instantly be able to apply for citizenship.

452  Economy / Economics / Re: Mastercard is investing in blockchain on: October 30, 2018, 09:48:50 PM
I was developing a project to help identify users behind an e-wallet (with user's approval), thus making the Blockchain a more safe environment and enable governments and banks to accept it as a standard.
Problem is that a month later I started my project, Master Card already applied for a patent for exactly the same thing! Anyway, I wish good luck to Master Card Smiley
453  Other / Off-topic / Re: To be a good person on: October 30, 2018, 08:56:19 PM
Being kind to everyone you meet doesn't mean to be a good person. Remember that people will hurt you so why being nice to them? You're not a good person, you're just dumb.

Instead, being a good person means resolving others' problems.
I think 99% won't agree on that but (most) politicians are good
person. While 99% criticize them, remember that without
politicians you wouldn't be able to have roads in your city.
Probably not even the local shop where you bought candies as a kid.
The politician solves many peoples' problems that many people don't
see (because the politician solves them).

Same concept in every other area of life. Are you an entrepreneur?
You are most likely a good person. Are you a drug dealer type of
entrepreneur? You're not a good person since you're helping those
younger to get on drugs.

I can go on forever.
454  Other / Archival / Re: What you will do with your altcoins? on: October 30, 2018, 08:41:35 PM
Honestly I could sell Tronix when it was $0.16 and make a HUGE amount. But I don't think that idea fits me. Instead, I'm looking for long term improvements, especially since Tronix founder is a good friend of Binance founder.
I expect it to go up in price when the total supply is reached because, if supply is limited it obviously earns more value.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people want ETH to over come BTC on: October 30, 2018, 07:08:22 PM
Honestly I prefer Ethereum as it's more straightforward. I can use etherscan.io to track everything about Ethereum. I can build decentralized apps using Ethereum which is a big bonus! It takes far less to send an Ethereum transaction than Bitcoin and Bitcoin is also more expensive.
This makes Ethereum my first choice
456  Other / Off-topic / Re: What food restaurant do you suggest for a date? on: October 30, 2018, 07:00:09 PM
Find out what she likes. Don't try something you never tried on a first date. For example, don't try to go for a Chinese restaurant if none of you ever been here before because it will turn into a bad experience if you don't like it.
Instead, I would bring her to a nice place which is CLEAN.
If you are living in a nice city like London or New York City, I can tell you some restaurants
where you can go and enjoy your time. For example, restaurants which at 9pm have
some nice music you can dance with her.

Good luck!!

458  Other / Off-topic / Re: WHY MANY OF YOU ARE POOR on: October 30, 2018, 11:03:18 AM
Agree but it's justifiable. Many companies were scam. Others say to innovate the world which is scary if you never heard about a company. I still appreciate most new cryptos Smiley
459  Other / Off-topic / Re: How Cryptocurrency can change your life. on: October 30, 2018, 11:01:29 AM
The main reason some organisations don't want cryptocurrencies is because it reduces fraud. Today you can't see all transactions a company carried last year. If they were on the blockchain you would be able to see everything. I still believe in crypto overtaking FIAT
