141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will DeFi help ethereum reach it's old 4 figure value? on: July 02, 2020, 05:27:05 AM
Unlikely will happen in the near future because without a bull run triggered by a combination of hype, good economy, and good news in the development, there will be no "mooning." Let's say the DeFi will trigger hype, but people currently still in bad shape because of Covid, therefore they won't buy speculative assets.
You are wrong, people are buying, that's why DeFi projects are mooning leaving out the other coins, investors are more into DeFi projects than anything else right now, the projects don't need bullrun, they are mooning on their own
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How reliable is crypto payment? on: July 02, 2020, 05:23:44 AM
After all the volatility issue third party merchants are still using and accepting crypto as means of payment, they combined the most popular altcoins, Bitcoin and stablecoin in one, whichever one you have can be accepted, they charge based on present value, for example alchemy
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins unite! on: July 01, 2020, 05:58:47 AM
I realized today that even thought many Altcoins are total shitcoins, all of them have an ambitious dev team behind them that must understand the blockchain business to some extent. Therefore I call on to all the devs of impotent shitcoins to unite for a quest of more utility for their cryptos and stop being shitcoins! Upgrade your blockchains! Switch to a more exciting algorithm. Slice max supply. Add real utility like storage or bandwidth or both! You can do it! Contact me if you want to know more.
How will they stop being shitcoins when that's all they can do? It's all about the experience of the team, since the projects turn shitcoin there is no way they can revive it, once it's a shitcoin it's better to abandon the project and build another
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or there are others who have same thoughts? on: July 01, 2020, 05:54:53 AM
It's a shame what listed bounties are turning into, blockburn team refused to distribute bounty token, they promised after 3 months later but yesterday I find out that they have changed date of distribution to 6 months later, another listed bounty project that disappoint me was I.Q cash, distribution is not done yet but price have dumped alot, the price was 0.33$ before and now it's 0.04$.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Best Privacy Coins In 2019 on: July 01, 2020, 05:51:48 AM
I'm also holding some thousands pieces of veil coin but price have decline a lot, I bought at 0.034$ and now price is at 0.01$, I'm already at loss but not until I sell though, I intend to hold for a very long time, Monero is the best on my list, followed by Sero protocol
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: July 01, 2020, 05:47:35 AM
Shitcoins can do some magic trick, if you have any in your wallet just leave them be, a time might come when they will come back to life with vengeance, some times you can make the biggest gains from shitcoins
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible to retrieve my invested BTC from Plustoken? on: June 30, 2020, 05:33:38 AM
Plustoken is one of the biggest Ponzi scheme in crypto space, I'm not sure which is bigger between plustoken and bitconnet, there is no way to retrieve your money OP it's long gone, forget and move on
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects and their unreal excuses on: June 30, 2020, 05:31:38 AM
You are absolutely right OP and I guess the remaining 10% is for those new projects team that fears that COV19 can do damage to crypto on the long run but by now every thing is now more clearer, Bitcoin withstand the pandemic and did very well, there is nothing to fear about, projects team should launch and start development straight away, this COV19 of a thing can even stay longer than expected, something that can take more than a year to conquer, will you guys wait till that time too??
There is nothing to be scared about, the pandemic crippled Bitcoin I'm March and the price dumped to 3500$ and after some time Bitcoin fights it's way up and so other coins too, that's enough to give new projects courage that this pandemic can't hurt crypto but even help more, it's a foolish excuse
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wallets for staking cryptos? on: June 26, 2020, 06:15:51 AM
The ones I used are Kucoin and Binance for staking altcoins as they are probably one of the safest wallets out there and with the highest returns. Though they are centralized, you don't need KYC to deposit/withdraw your funds anytime. But since they are exchanges, you should be aware that you don't the key to your assets and you should use it with care.
Kucoin and binance aren't safer wallets, they are centralized exchanges, how do you feel relaxed when you entrusting your altcoins to centralized exchanges? This is why I don't use exchanges for staking, you have to control over your coins anymore and that's risky
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted projects ruined me !! on: June 25, 2020, 06:25:23 AM
Late 2017 and early 2018 i was holding lots of coins and tokens from the ico's in that some i really trusted with solution and team (not only me most of crypto community trusted). Now this coins or token became nothing . But some projects i entered  to sell for small margin profit these projects given profit . So holding token or coin for long term is meaningless.
Price spike in 2017 was caused by ICO hype, you got in at the wrong time, sorry to hear, ICOs aren't the most trusted projects for many, believe that, where is Bitcoin and Ethereum? At that point in 2017 I don't have the courage to buy top coins because they are at their ATH, I knew dump will happen later, your loss would have been little if you went for Bitcoin
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Probit Exchange IEO Based Bounties Should Join ? on: June 25, 2020, 06:19:45 AM
I have checked different bounties for joining but most of them IEO's running on Probit Exchange and showing the highest worth value of tokens should we join Probit Exchange-based bounties?
like this bounty worth $320,000 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5250951.0
Probit is not bad for new projects, you can proceed but homt bounty project is not that great, you will surely get paid since the bounty manager is bounty detective, they are loyal (who ever they are), getting paid is guaranteed but homt will lose value faster because of its use case
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do when price is dump?? on: June 25, 2020, 06:17:14 AM
When dump starts you can quickly switch to stable coin and if more dump happens you will be able to buy back and get more quantities of the coin but if it's Bitcoin you are holding you might decide not to do anything
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of repetitive projects and old ideas on: June 24, 2020, 06:04:53 AM
Developers should stop if all they have are old ideas or repetitive projects, we have over 7000 altcoins in crypto space, that's more than enough and even out of those 7000 altcoins 90% are bad projects, enough is enough, if no new ideas just stop.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto.com investment legit and safe? on: June 24, 2020, 06:01:37 AM
Crypto.com is a legit platform and CRO is a legit token, I've used this platform several times in the past, you are free to proceed though there is not such thing as 'safe' in crypto space, some platforms re safe today and they get compromised the next day, play safe.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Success rate of hodling among top 50 alts. on: June 24, 2020, 05:56:46 AM
Top altcoins will give good profits but won't be that big like profits from altcoins under top 10, there are some good altcoins that haven't make it to top 10 yet, if you can do research and find them you will make better ROI, though be warned, they carry more risks than top 10 altcoins
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ethereum investment for future ?? on: June 23, 2020, 07:40:17 AM
Ethereum is the second best coin for a reason and it's not hard to see, the project has many competitors but till date none of these competitors can beat ethereum, hell yes ethereum is for the future just like how Bitcoin will keep triumphing
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100 ETH Puzzle! on: June 23, 2020, 07:37:22 AM
Impossible, I think they are using this trick to get more followers, that's all, how can you find key words when you aren't given 4 to 5 recovery words? The past puzzle tasks I've come across give out few words of the Mnemonic seed and ask the audience to solve the rest, don't waste your time
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Warning Scam : Crypcore Exchange on: June 23, 2020, 07:32:43 AM
With the way I view this claim i think a scammer is trying to impersonate Crypcore project, this is nothing new on Facebook and Twitter, their main target are newbies who aren't very good with the internet and things, for any project or person that ask you for deposits are 100% scammers..do not be fooled
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BSV ecosystem looks impressive on: June 19, 2020, 07:05:43 AM
Also I found another information about CW https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5250960.0

Don't know why many people there still believe in this coin since the creator of this coin has a lot of scandals.
BSV have been ridiculed many times because of the team involved and other things like scandal but there will be those who will still benefit from this project, BSV is big whether you like it or not, many said same thing about HEX too but investors make huge ROI from the project, the fact is you don't have to like the journey of a project, still this won't stop it's fate
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy Coins Discussion on: June 18, 2020, 07:29:55 AM
Monero is more anonymous than dash I think and that's why hackers use this coin on darkweb the most, it's the most favorable on darkweb than other privacy coins, many will hate this fact, most especially SEC and they will surely force some exchanges to delist Monero
This won't stop Monero though, it will only make it the best choice for anonymous users or darkweb users, there are new privacy coins presently that has better features than Monero but just like Bitcoin is the best for people even with old tech that's how Monero is going to be
