141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IDO can do better ? on: December 18, 2020, 08:24:13 AM
It's always about the profits isn't it? MahaDao is just as good as many other dao and DeFi projects this days, this doesn't mean the project will be here for many years to come or will perform very well later, make money and exit is the new safe rules on new projects today, be smart
142  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know is someone real and trusted for Bitcoin trading? on: December 18, 2020, 08:19:38 AM
If anyone offers to sell bitcoin to you they are probably scammers, in my country people are selling bitcoin between themselves and I keep warning those that are close to me, not too long the seller decide to change his phone number and shut down is social media account after taking payments from many people, this is stupidity, we have exchanges for safe crypto trading, why but from people around you?
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non funded projects vs funded projects on: December 17, 2020, 10:38:40 AM
I don't think that unfunded projects are bad, projects like Litecoin and XMR are old coins, their projects are clear and scalable but many investors trust their projects even though they are not funded, the point is the intention of the project team and even though they are not funded they are very serious about developing their projects and products to attract investors, other projects must follow in their footsteps
It's not that easy, haven't you see projects that have clear targets and we'll scalable that still end up choosing the wrong path later? It's not about the funds because non funded doesn't mean the team can't steal money, getting listed on exchanges is all that matters, that's where the real money is.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This days with DAO and Finance on: December 17, 2020, 10:34:03 AM
If you are talking about hilarious name look no further than Tadpole Finance, the first time I see this name I don't know what hit me, I couldn't stop laughing 🤣, there are others like swag finance and squirrel finance, the problem is all these tokens have no volume
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can only get 4/6 cards to mine on my rig on: December 15, 2020, 09:58:41 AM
What is the size of your power pack? If enough power isn't available there will be problems with recognizing all the cards, can you please drop the size of your powerpack? I will be glad to help, also is your motherboard bios up to date? If no kindly do that too and drop a feedback
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Radeon RX 5700 or Radeon RX 5700 XT on: December 15, 2020, 09:56:05 AM
Both RX5700 and the XT are same to me, just appt few tweaks and you will get better hashing speed on the RX5700, some even BIOS mod their RX5700 to unlock extra MH when mining Ethereum or other Ethash, use google to find tutorial about how to BIOS mod ythe RX5700
147  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Success comes after failure. on: December 14, 2020, 09:40:13 AM
You have to develop that passion for crypto to be able to make some high contribution in this space, you don't have to focus on earning merits, instead spread how addicted you are with crypto and help those who are lost, you will be amazed with how many merits you will be rewarded later on

Failing and not quiting is everything a man ever needs in this life, the reason why less people makes it in this world is losing and quiting after few try, the moment you managed to confuse yourself that you can't do it anymore it's over, you become what you said and your brain shut down in the process

148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: December 13, 2020, 08:50:21 AM
For easy bounty managing it's better to use limited participants, escrow isn't a must to have a clean bounty promotion experience, first make sure the project is clean and different, high quality use cases gives an easy head light, secondly make sure the bounty manager is well experienced, I would choose quality over escrow and mind you quality projects don't use escrow campaigns
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of the project depends on the project developer himself! on: December 13, 2020, 08:39:51 AM
New products in crypto space are experimental and some developers have to take the giant steps and give them a try to see if they are going to work as intended but when the unexpected happens they have to abandon the project and look else where, what good can you expect from a AI project today? They usually end up a failure and developers have stop trying them out
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: For Bounty Hunters on: December 12, 2020, 08:24:58 AM
You do something for free and then you start raging that the person whom you did it for should be expelled? Sounds logical? Roll Eyes
Its about time some of the bounty hunters understood that running after bounties is a waste of time now. If you want to get paid get a job or gain some skills and apply for jobs in real life.
Again merit sources are partial towards those who have been spamming the bounty sections. However we have many users who started as bounty hunters but became well known/well awarded with merits in the longer run. Why not strive to be someone like them?
Anger will not get you anywhere. But it is normal to be angry but this is a reminder that no payment that is worth enough money is ever promised for a project specially because the altcoin market is another pump and dump to larger scale and coin offering are non-legal securities - it is not even worth calling them securities at all.
You will not be getting any sympathy from other users here, rather more bashing that you should suck it up and move on. Sorry to say but it is true.
You don't know what you are saying, there is another benefit one can earn when joining bounties, do you know that I've been able to identify or differentiate the difference between a bad project and good project because of bounties? It's eye opening for those who learn out of anything, all thanks to bounties, also some projects still pays good rewards, people need to stop joining bounties only when no projects are paying anymore, do your own research
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: which coin to mine with GTX 1060 mining rig for long term profit on: December 12, 2020, 08:18:01 AM
Hi guys i have mining rig with GTX 1060 6gb graphic cards. I want you please suggest me which coin should i mine for long term like 2 to 3 year. Also i was mining RVN coin but it seems it just go below ground and keep dig. Thanks in advance please reward me with your best advise .
You can't make more than 45cents mining with a single gtx1060 right now, not that good for mining anymore but if you can do some research on new altcoins you might be able to get your hands on reasonable amounts or quantities of the altcoin, know that it's not always about the quantities but the quality of the project, make sure the new altcoin is worth mining before you start, look into

1. Vdollar
2. Aion
3. Veil
4. Super Zero
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A10 Pro+ on: December 11, 2020, 08:13:22 AM
Separate graphics cards have high advantages over a single asic miner, if the asic miner gets a problem or fault you will have to find a qualified personal to fix it for you but with graphic cards you can remove the bad seed easily and there are also ways to fix dead gpu yourself, I bring my amd hd6950 back to life twice myself in 2016
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Trying to get rid of some AMD HD gpu series on: December 11, 2020, 08:09:07 AM
I've owned the Radeon 6990 before. Its basically a monster of a GPU. Its dual GPU and I think that beast can pull 600 Watts or so. The guy I bought it from mined actual BTC with that GPU and I've mined LTC, X11, ETH, ZEC, and XMR. That GPU basically refuses to die. Runs pretty much at 90C day and night. Blower fan running at 80% for maybe half a decade and still has good fan bearings.

That GPU and Radeon 7990, are actually limited production GPUs. They are rare and hold decent value. If yours is in mint shape you should hold it for another year or so and some collector will buy it on eBay. Currently the 7990 is going for $200 or so. Which makes no sense since its basically 2 of the Radeon 7970 (R9 280X) gpus which an overclocked RX 480 can pretty much beat.

The rest of those GPUs however are nothing special and you won't get much coin out of them.
What are the collectors going to use the old gpus for? No wonder they are still been sold at high price, it these cards are actually useless today they should be sold for 40$ to 50$ each but I'm surprised they have high maintained values on amazon and newegg, very impressive IMO
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 10 RX570 vs 5 gtx1660ti on: December 10, 2020, 10:57:36 AM
The only difference between the two is the less consuming power of gtx1660ti but their heading power is near the same thing, roughly 29MH to 31MHS from both sides so it's wiser to spend the money on more mega hash per second for quick ROI or even more profits every 24hrs
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: eth staking started? When will gpu mining will end if ever? on: December 10, 2020, 10:55:18 AM
It's going to take a very long time before Ethereum goes out if POW business, probably another 12 months I guess, for now I suggest you keep mining Ethereum, before the whole chain moved finally into proof of Staking algo will definitely take time

157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Trying to build a new mining rig with 2800$ on: December 08, 2020, 07:12:53 AM
I'm having 2800$ lying around, I've already invested in popular altcoins and bitcoin already so I thinking of building mining rigs with this money, mind you I have free electricity but very epileptic, but since it's free I'd like to take advantage of it, what kind of rigs is perfect with 2800$? Thanks
You would have made more than that 2800$ right now if you invested on few top altcoins, we are in bull season mate why the hell would you want to build a mining rig right now when you can double that money in few weeks or months?
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from my curiosity on: December 08, 2020, 07:09:37 AM
I will like to make a contribution to this topic, the project (emporium finance) has no presale, no premine and no private sales, that's enough reason for people to have a good thinking about this project, the twitter account is still been updated even 7hours ago but Hhampuz who is behind the bounty managing claimed that he lost contact with the team, I believe this isn't some random scammers at work here
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 570 8g mining settings help on: December 06, 2020, 08:27:14 AM
Thanks for all the helpful advice. This community is great! I went ahead and found that hynix memory so I went and did a bios mod to change the timing. 1500 > Straps I believe. Then I set gpu to 1200 and 2200/880mv and it's getting  31.57MH now. I am getting some rejections. I've had it running for a while and its something like 770 accepts to 10 rejects. Anyone have any ideas as to why I'm getting those rejects? Again, thanks for all the help and support especially New_order, FP91G, and OasisDre. That memory tidbit was extremely helpful. I thought flashing the bios would be difficult, but it wasn't bad at all.
Maybe you overclock too much? You need to relax in this part as it requires patience, reduce the memory frequency bit by bit and keep trying again until the rejection blocks grows lower in numbers, or probably try different miners too, result and balance may vary
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A10 Pro and Miningrigrentals on: December 06, 2020, 08:21:59 AM
Hi everyone,

I try to set up my Innosilicon a10 Miners for pointing at Miningrigrentals to offer the Hashrate for rent.
But every time the miners keep rebooting after I saved the settings.
Is anyone experiencing the same issues ?
Did anyone get a A10 Pro working on Miningrigrentals?
Thank you in advance.
best regards
Michael

Do you overclock the miners? Excessive overclocking can cause overheating, if you buy them new you can still return if warranty still covers the miners, one problem about asic mining is if faults happens you can't fix them yourself, it's a different case with graphic cards, they can easily be replaced or fix
