Well, if the project has been completely taken over by scammers...does that mean the entire original team is gone?

I know back when NulleX (GPU Coin ages ago?) split up, Trystan and Erik ended up splitting up and working on different projects. I'm not sure what Trystan did (he went silent on all social media), but Erik is still pretty active on telegram I think. Do you know if White Coin team did something like that where they work on different projects, or are they completely gone / done for?

It's down 12% today on CMC (6% against BTC), but it's still doing pretty good

Hmm...I would honestly say that for the most part, it's just crypto manipulation. I think after the halving and if this project keeps on moving forward I can see it being worth alot. The thing is, virtually all projects follow bitcoin, so for 500k waves to be worth that, we would need to see another "alt season" imo (but tbh, I don't think anyone knows when we will get the next one and if it will be similar to 2017)

Wow nice! I remember Pivx and Sumokoin from a long time back and honestly i'm really surprised to see how long of a ways that they came. The thing with privacy coins is that most of them will be invaluable in the future thanks to there always being a need for privacy on the blockchain. I would imagine too that this project could become a top project in the cryptosphere

I have a question regarding this airdrop and trading contest. The rewards goes to the top trading on Bithumb or do you just have to reach a certain quota?

Also I have another question regarding Bithumb. It requires level 2 withdrawal which requires KYC (I think), Do you know if US citizens are allowed to be able to withdraw?

Honestly, i'm actually surprised that Cameron is still bothering really. What I did was I bought a little bit of this project that I can afford to lose, so if it does be a success i'll be happy with it. Considering there's so many projects out there, i'm not sure if there's any point in constantly fudding this one when you can use that time for bounties, meeting new people, expanding your portfolio into other stuff, etc.

I'm not trying to be harsh about this, but every single time I see something related to this project on virtually any medium, there's nothing but arguing. if Cameron and you put in the same amount of time that you do arguing into making this project a success, then this project would probably be a lot better than it is now. I know the tech isn't out yet, and that's fine considering there's a lot of projects that use proprietary tech. But unless you guys can actually promote this project positively across the mediums and avenues that this project have, do you really think people will invest in it when they search Xtrabytes and see all the drama?

I haven't called this project a scam in a long time because I don't believe that it's a scam. I'm not 100% okay with the way things are being done in the project (or how the community is currently), and I think I've expressed that before in some of my posts. But there is the fact that a lot of people put tons of time and effort into this project, and I really do respect that. Yes, I do know that development seems to be slow, but I do hold out hope that one day I can test out the technology for myself and so can the rest of the crypto community.

And nope, alot of those aren't mine. There's plenty that I can say about this project, but I haven't said anything either negative or positive lately about it. I actually do think that the documentary is good news if it works out, but I can still say some pretty negative stuff about how this project is ran. If you want to focus on something though, perhaps you should diversify your investments and check my post history. There's plenty of great projects that i'm active in atm.

Edit : In fact i'm still surprised that you people are still obsessing over this at this point. Have you ever considered that maybe if you guys didn't turn every single thread into an obsessive "it exists! it doesn't exist!" thread, then maybe you would have more investors?

If you want investors to come after you get your documentary aired, then perhaps you guys should work on getting a new exchange, stop the childish squabbles on bitcointalk / other social media so you can work on rebuilding this project's reputation and work on making this project a success.

I'm a bit curious regarding how you guys vet airdrops as well. For me, I kinda just randomly join as many airdrops as I can and hope to get lucky haha

In 2019, most of my extra eth came from deflationary bomb clone airdrops. Etherburn, Deflash, Fuze, Fire, Anarchy, etc all gave fairly decent payouts. Bomb was probably the "nicest" airdrop since you could have made roughly $1300 if you sold on mercatox during the hype. Roughly each year, there seems to be at least one or a couple of airdrops that pay really well but they tend to be really hard to find. Back in 2018 when Piedpipercoin (a meme coin) came out, the airdrop became worth $1000+ too at the top of its hype and you could sell on forkdelta. I'm sure there will probably be one or two that does really good in 2020 as well, but they will probably be obscure / unexpected

If I can I always try to avoid ones that require deposits and any airdrop that asks you to "pay" is kinda sketchy in my opinion. I also have to recommend against giving your email address (your main one). I have one dedicated for airdrops and I receive never-ending spam in it haha

This is true unfortunately. I think out of the majority of airdrops, only a moderate percentage pay out. Some are great projects with great communities, some are outright scams (such as requiring KYC and never paying out or requiring you to visit a fake MEW site) and a bunch are somewhere in-between. Although I will also say that it's worth it to try to do airdrop campaigns since if it's one thing that I realized for airdrops is that the chance of finding that "diamond" of a airdrop is there. A good example is how bomb gave people over $1000 who participated in the airdrop and sold, and same for other projects like piedpipercoin, hydro, ontology, etc.
