141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: October 19, 2019, 05:24:10 AM
These fighters wanted to fight against Manny Pacquiao because of money. Pacquiao, Alvarez and Joshua are the only fighters in the planet today that are capable of giving their opponents $4 million or more. Plus Pacquiao is old and small at welterweight. Crawford easily dispatches Pacquiao today.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: October 18, 2019, 05:37:25 AM
Manny Pacquiao is too old for young Spence. The size difference is also a big factor because Spence can move well and box. Spence also has the power to knock Pacquiao out . Spence didn't do well against the ever tough Porter but Pacman showed ageing too against the inactive but unbeaten Thurman. Many boxing fans are asking when will Pacman hang up the gloves. There is nothing left to prove for this great man.
Don’t you watched the gam of Manny Pacquiao and Keith Thurman?that Keith is much younger than manny and very strong with also a perfect record.
You should watch the video of the fight and then Post here again about what can you say for this match Errol Spence and Pacquiao ok?

This boxer will surely bleed against the Filipino fighter

We have different analysis here. I believe that I have better analysis than you, the same with you. We can just agree to disagree with each other. I want to see Spence physically 100% after that crash.

And if ever the fight happens next year I challenge you to bet against me. 50/50 odds. We use escrow. I got Spence and you have the Pacman.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto market in depression on: October 18, 2019, 05:06:23 AM
This thread will be exactly one year next month. And the altcoin market is still depressing. I guess most of you already cut losses or stopped low cost averaging or you'll end up selling your house and assets to catch these non stop ever falling altcoins. Cheesy

The altcoin market is really sad. I lost thousands of dollars too. I cannot sleep well. So I started selling them and accepted the fact the I lost. Rather than seeing it bleeding day by day. But I already moved on. Grin

Last year the market conditions were actually more volatile than now. a little lucky this mid-year there is still an increase in the price of bitcoin from last year where since January to December the trend that we face is the price decline without stopping.

It could be that $13k+ that didn't broke $14,000 will be our highest this year. We have more than two months to break this year's highest price.

Altcoins are the biggest victims here. They need bitcoin to stabilize a bit because bullish and bearish brings disaster to them. Even ETH and Ripple cannot stop from sliding down when a major bitcoin price shake up happens.

144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 18, 2019, 04:48:34 AM
However there is a little bit of history for Manchester United to be excited about; Jurgen Klopp has never beaten the Red Devils at home.
on 20/10 later is proof whether this myth is true!!  last August MU defeated by Crystal Palace at home, so I think the chance of Jurgen Klopp and his team to beat MU at home is huge.

The odds aren't believing on that little story either. Manchester United would be lucky if they can salvage a draw. A massacre on them is possible confirmation of some big changes either on the management, coaching staffs or in the squad itself. I think they need changes when necessary and not after the second half of the season.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of tokens on: October 18, 2019, 04:00:23 AM
This is the reason why ICOS are dead, it's so easy to create new tokens to scam people. Investors lost interest and trust and i think it will not stop until strict regulation is implemented on ICOS, it's still not too late to rescue ICOS from dying.

It is more safer to just invest on coins that are already in the big exchanges. It provides further security when its volumes are already big as it is easier to sell them anytime.

There are already ICOS that are SEC compliant and government compliant. All of them needs KYC though and there are many people in crypto that hates KYC. ICOS do not need to be rescued. A real and legit project can find a way to be successful and it is a bonus when it complies with government rules.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: October 18, 2019, 12:43:57 AM
in my opinion the situation in Africa is different from before. Africa was once known as a poor country and a den of disease. but conditions have changed now, the situation in Africa has improved and has good economic growth. because some African countries are producers of petroleum, so I think blockchain can be applied in Africa. and maybe in the future cryptocurrency will develop rapidly in Africa.

There are major changes in Africa. Rich cities can be capable of adopting blockchain and the use of crypto currencies. But outside these improved cities there are still too many to improve. Electricity and stable internet are one of the most important factors when adopting blockchain and crypto. Big businesses adopting blockchain first can be a good start.
147  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Curious about this OKEx Place on: October 18, 2019, 12:26:02 AM
OKEx is one of the biggest exchange in their industry so it should be safe and reliable. But personally, I will still pick Binance because of its SAFU. All exchanges have the chance to follow Mt.Gox and Cryptopia. At least in Binance they are starting to allocate some of their income to secure its users funds. But you may also consider the volumes of the specific coins that you are looking into.
148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: VinDAX is number 1 exchange on coinmarketcap on: October 17, 2019, 04:53:40 PM
Why are people reacting too much? The person didn't say VinDAX has the largest trading volume? He said VinDAX has the cheapest trading fee at 0.05%. And he was asking if the exchange is safe. It looks legit and it's a big exchange. Check online reviews. Most people here in bitcointalk just heard this exchange. My suggestion is to try the exchange itself with small amount.

151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever been stolen or lost your BTC? on: October 17, 2019, 03:34:24 PM
The safest way is to keep your bitcoins in a cold storage and you keep your own private keys. Besides if you lose them then you cannot blame any of the exchanges but yourself alone.

Personally I have many wallets, online and offline, some I just keep on exchanges. Binance have SAFU now and is doing fine since that hacking incident. But if you have bitcoins that you don't want to touch for a long time then better buy a trezor or a ledger.

152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Update List Scam Airdrop 2019 ...... on: October 17, 2019, 03:21:21 PM
Lol! Are there no scam airdrops this 2019? Except those coins that were already established and is available in the exchanges? I guess none. I haven't tried airdrops this year but I can sense that all projects that started 100% airdrops on its supply without undergoing ICO and IEO this year are all scams.

The only successful airdrops happened last 2017. The other successful regular airdrops are already well established like Stellar.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earning crypto on games - are you serious? on: October 17, 2019, 02:51:34 PM
I'm seeing a lot of posts and top-lists with the best crypto games lately. At the moment there’s a huge selection of crypto games online starting from simple casino slots and finishing by shooters, 3D action, and exploration games. I see a lot of promos, articles, etc, but I never heard of the efficiency of those games for their users. Take this top-5 for example. Does anyone even play it? Are you doing it for fun, or is it really a profitable way of earning crypto?

How relevant are blockchain games and is it possible to make any profit on them? By 'making any profit' I mean an alternative to trading, mining, etc.
Share your experience.

You cannot replace mining (if profitable in your place) and trading to the games in your list. Those games are highly based on luck. The games are like the games in land based casino where you cannot expect high chance of winning. Unless it is poker. But if you really want to try gambling for profit then dice sites have better chances of winning because they have low house edge. Primedice, Bitsler, Bitdice to name a few are one of the most popular here trusted by high ranking people in this forum.

Another form of gambling that is not based purely on luck is sports betting. Nitrogensports and Cloudbet are the also the most popular in this forum.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: October 17, 2019, 01:48:49 PM
yes it's very true, in my opinion BNB is a very popular coin since the binance issued the coin, where BNB fans are racing to buy it to take part in the IEO in the world's largest binance market, although these weeks have decreased significantly but it has not changed its popularity.
Apart from the IEO factor in binance I like the exchange because the volume is really big and there are also many benefits such as sometimes there are contests. Even though Binance also has many problems like there was a bitcoin hacking before, but now I still believe in binance

Small corrections are normal in a trading market. Binance is still a very good coin and is one of the best. There are more reasons for BNB to increase in price than decrease. Binance actually have SAFU which insures our coins in the exchange in case of another successful hacking. Also, Binance security is getting better. BNB have more partnerships and uses than the other exchange tokens. And the regular burning of BNB supply to stop inflation.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose DEX? How to avoid scam? on: October 17, 2019, 04:25:40 AM
Etherdelta and Forkdelta are old and famous decentralized exchanges right now. You can exchange Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens on those exchanges. The Binance DEX is a good decentralized exchange. Because Binance DEX is Binance. You all know about Binance. You can exchange BNB and BEP-2 tokens on Binance DEX. The Binanve DEX has BNB, BTC and fiat trading pairs.

Etherdelta used to be the most popular DEX that time. But is Etherdelta is still operating until now? Thought it was left behind by its developers? I remember there were people that lost money in that DEX. There were also many victims due to hacking and phishing. After that, many people including me would rather trade on reliable exchanges than DEX.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: October 16, 2019, 05:05:06 PM
The success of digital wallets in the African continent was really great and based on what I've read on news articles about it, it really helped the economy and the businesses when it all started years ago.
With this in mind, will Africans be welcoming of bitcoin/altcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to earn cash or invest? Like using it as real money / cash?

There are many good places in Africa where electricity and internet are stable, but in the vast rural areas where poverty level is high it would be impossible to use crypto currencies. Crypto currencies used to be for everyone but in other places having an internet is a luxury. Highly urbanized cities in Africa would be a good start when it comes to crypto adoption. I know there are already many Africans that invested in crypto currencies especially on bitcoin.
157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Overall winning - Dice on: October 16, 2019, 04:35:19 PM
Gambling sites also study gamblers' psychology very well and design their algorithms such that the initial players who just sign up and start with small amounts usually get some statistically skewed wins in the beginning,

thus reinforcing the emotional high and psychology that they have found a loophole in the system or are very luck or any other rationalization to justify their joyful emotional state, which quickly becomes addictive.

It is often the case at this point that the site's algorithm turns against them, and usually the gambler then finds himself unable to quit, chasing after the initial high, or playing "just a few more turns" to recuperate the losses, and is likely to end up losing more both because of the built-in house edge and sometimes outright cheating by the vastly unregulated site's algorithm...

But the provable fair is working the same either on a new player and an old one? Or maybe you are talking about gambling sites that aren't provably fair or unproven which is common on non crypto gambling sites?

The nature itself of a man is greedy which is an advantage on gambling houses as they have the deeper funds plus the house edge. Little house edge may not be a factor but after a hundred throw of that dice and so on, the house edge accumulates slowly in favor to them.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are investors still complaining? on: October 16, 2019, 04:07:33 PM
As always majority of losers always complain. I am not into investing start up projects especially in this kind of market situation but those start up projects that have the assurance of Binance and other big exchanges are good to grab. The bonuses and discounts are probably worth it. But projects that don't have big exchange assurance are too risky to invest. Everybody knows that there are already thousands of crypto currencies and many of them will die along the way. I would rather buy an altcoin that are already in many exchanges than a coin that doesn't have an exchange listing guarantee.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: October 16, 2019, 03:40:45 PM
There is little to no chance that crypto currencies will be gone anytime soon. Maybe many shitcoins die on the way but it is normal. Bitcoin and the other well backed projects will stay and will continue to grow. Altcoins are still waiting their bull run and are so volatile. Maybe you focus most of your investments on bitcoin. Bitcoin has a good chance of breaking resistance once again this year.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Years From Now: Bitcoin Overtaking PayPal? on: October 16, 2019, 03:30:38 PM
As long as bitcoin continues to scale then we are in the right direction. But in 10 years maybe some another private company has already beaten Paypal or it could be Paypal already minimizing its fees and will use blockchain technology. The decentralized nature of bitcoin is what keeps it to continue moving forward. More people will realize soon that utilizing bitcoin freedom and privacy.
