141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Jesus Coin will be Nr 1 by the end of the year on: February 08, 2018, 03:28:55 PM
Good ol' joke. However Jesus Coin won't make it, the time of funny coins are gone, now the market grew up and you have to present a good project but not the jokecoin.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the opposite of FUD? on: February 07, 2018, 03:36:40 PM
Probably hype train.

Even a lot of people jump on it every now and then.

Nevertheless an XRP been hyped that way straight to the moon and some guys made a fortune on it. Just take an average coin, add some zeal ardent hypers and that's probably is a way to get HELL LOT of money
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deep Onion Discussion on: February 07, 2018, 03:32:53 PM
Hello Boys and Girls  Cheesy

Well the green period on the market appeared and it give a huge capabilities to Onion. As I hear d its a pretty reliable coin and surpass most of other scams on the market. To make the story short - it has great chances for success.

146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Secure, private, untraceable since 2012 on: September 28, 2014, 12:53:51 AM
There is no coin that has everything that Bytecoin has. If there is a clone it will never have BCN dev team who have created the coin with the help of CryptoNote team
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Secure, private, untraceable since 2012 on: September 26, 2014, 08:11:13 AM
He is technically correct in calling Monero a clone of Bytecoin. There is not a shred of evidence, despite the Monero fanatics spewing their bile, that Monero has added any thing of material benefit to the cryptonote reference coin - BYTECOIN.  Cheesy

Even if it were true (it isn't), that would be because the purpose of Monaro wasn't originally to add to Bytecoin, it was to retain that part with value (the code and design) while removing the parts that destroyed Bytecoin's value: the 82% fraudulent premine, and dishonest developers who would attempt to perpetrate such a scam on the community.

So, glerant is right in his thoughts.Monero was created as a Bytecoin clone and no one can doubt this fact.

Bitcoin will always be the POW king, but I can foresee some good competition from a POS or other type of staking method that is more energy efficient.

Bytecoin has been added to voting!
http://vcfundamentals.com/voting.php
I voted because of BCN, but the VCF pages are full of advertisements. I do not like it. ... and the voting system is stupid you can vote many times. Why to pay for more votes? Realy strange project the VCF.

Well, I rather agree with you that the project is really strange. I voted too as it was not difficult to vote for my favorite coin  Smiley

The next significant feature scheduled for release later this week provides smart solutions for Bytecoin-accepting businesses.

Our key objective is to continue providing a support service of the highest standard and to add features to increase Bytecoin’s presence in the enterprise and the community.

Perhaps the day chosen is 11 S ??
Symbolically as a blow to the financial system ??

LMFAO

Even if the next addition would be Sept, 11th, it won't be anything close to what happen to the financial system in the past
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] What anonymous coin will succed? on: August 25, 2014, 11:52:01 AM
I'm betting on BCN - it's been stable for two years running and I like what the devs team is doing - CN technology is the future coming.

Right you are! BCN has already shown it's worth to be a winner as it works fine and there is no botnets and is based on revolutionary technology that has lots of advantages.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] What anonymous coin will succed? on: August 17, 2014, 02:42:59 PM
Dark and Cloak embrace an obsolete technology: CoinJoin Sad
Bytecoin, which is known as one of biggest scam in the cryptocurrency history (premined 83% before launch) gets zero chance to succeed Sad
Are you willing to put your money where your mouth is? If coinjoin is obsolete, would you be willing to make a bet ( with escrow) to trace a Darksend transaction?

digicoin, you are wrong, especially with the point of view on Bytecoin

https://forum.cryptonote.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11&start=10 - CN developers confirms that there were about a dozen of mining group with 10-30 miners in each group.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Major update NOW! on: August 17, 2014, 02:36:19 PM
Dev needs to fix this crap  been stuck at the same shit for 3 days now  New binaries  deleted chain 3 times  so far and STILL not working

I wrote in the dev channel on freenode. Hopefully they are watching it more often than this thread.

Wish the same. I guess they are already working on it as you are not the first and the only one who have the problem.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Alt coin to invest in 2014 on: August 16, 2014, 11:05:40 AM
The answer is simple - it's Bytecoin (BCN) which is the best coin to invest in.
I'd add that today is the best time to buy some coins than to mine it.
BCN is a CryptoNote based coin with professional developer team who have written an immense amount of code from scratch and have implemented a lot of things to make coin friendly to miner cause they really do care about their users!

155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Major update NOW! on: August 16, 2014, 09:52:17 AM
The first multi-sig transaction in Bitcoin was in block 170052. That happened in 07/03/2012.

That is exactly one day before Bytecoin launched. Coincidence? I don't think so.

What may have happened is that Satoshi, Cornel West and the rest of the Bytecoin team got together over a beer and decided to push their new multisig technology onto the Bitcoin blockchain as a hint of the bigger things to come.

Duh. God you're stupid not to know this. Rethink your fucking strategy already.

hmm....that's very interesting point of view. I've never thought about multi-sig txn to come right before the Bytecoin
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your top 5 altcoins - in order? on: August 16, 2014, 06:19:57 AM

157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin (CPU-mining, true anonymity) on: August 10, 2014, 03:26:03 PM
Just updated my blockchain. Everything works fine!

Glad for you. I've recently updated the block chain and it works fine, too
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xmining Pool [BCN/XMR/FCN/QCN/XDN/BBR/DSH/AEON] CryptoNote Merge Mining on: August 09, 2014, 05:10:20 PM
I agree with burnbabyburn71 that if we support Xmining and other smaller pools than these pools would have high h/r as well as Extreme pool

160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin (CPU-mining, true anonymity) on: August 09, 2014, 05:57:30 AM
Keep in mind that it is a beta version. It works with Nvidia and CUDA GPU on Windows only.

Does GPU mining on this coin give more hashes than CPU mining?
I have a Intel Core-i7 CPU and AMD Radeon HD7950 GPU.

Won't work with your GPU

How much you get with NVIDIA? I might arrange for one if that gives good performance. Any benchmarks?

I don't know about the minergate one. There is an open source nv miner here that I think gets about 250 H/s on a 750ti so theirs might be similar. https://github.com/tsiv/ccminer-cryptonight

I got 250H/s on EVGA 570 https://github.com/tsiv/ccminer-cryptonight/releases

Thanks for info guys! Will try it out soon.

Could you , please, share with us what h/r you'd get with these an open source miners.
