Just FUD. On same page: "Old hands in South Korea Bitcoin market unfazed by threats of banThreats of a potential cryptocurrency trading ban in South Korea have scared many investors away, but some veterans of the young market are defiant, saying restrictions would be relatively easy to circumvent." South Korea isn't like China, it doesn't have a great firewall doing its best to stop its citizens circumventing restrictions.

Why cryptopia don't answer? I don't understand it. The price for listing is so high and don't give answer 2 weeks. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Other coins have the same problems with cryptopia. For example Lizus. They are splitting their exchange into different sites to reduce the load all the new users are placing on the original site. They probably prioritised all the work needed for that change, and will list new coins after it's completed. https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/NewsCryptopia will be standing up new sister sites such as ltc.cryptopia.co.nz to handle base markets dedicated to LTC on their own trade engine and database to allow them to continue to trade, and allowing cryptopia.co.nz to resume registrations.
You will still need to transfer funds between the different sites to trade on each of them but this will be able to be handled instantly by Cryptopia in the background with atomic swaps, so you'll still have the single Cryptopia account that you use on the different exchanges.
As such, we will be permanently closing the LTC basemarkets on cryptopia.co.nz

are there other exchanges that run the same chain as cryptopia did?
It's difficult to say. Cryptopia shows one node. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FR08yACv.png&t=663&c=terIn4w69QRN2w) However when you click the button to view the node's IP address it doesn't show it. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FnLvuFsq.png&t=663&c=H5dALU8pp3h4Ew)

Can we mine this with gpus? If so, i see that there's a miner but only for linux. Will a windows miner be released? thank you.
The dev says there's no point because Arionum uses the argon2i algorithm. <snip>
@JaC0b Due to the argon2i algorithm, it won't be worth mining with gpus.

mut coin will list on yobit and coinexchange.io wow up up up
Where did you hear that? Was it on discord because there's nothing about it in the dev's post history?

What's the cryptofied portal shown in the roadmap? There's no explanation of what it's for.

Gdax hit 11,8 a little while ago and is still in 11,7 right now. 12k is definitely close.
Bearstamp's just hit a 24 hour high of $11800. That $12k is getting closer.

Welp, we're going to go over $12,000. At least that's more comfortable territory.
If we go over $12,000 we will be going up by $3000 in a day. That's a comfortable recovery.

Thanks God, I managed to sell 15% of my ardor before the dump. Tomorrow people will massively deposit their ardor to bittrex and sell it (I think so)
Possible. But for now, the tendency is clearly bullish. The "dump" has almost been reverted and it's even possible that we'll approach a new ATH these days ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) If bitcoin approaches a new ATH then ardor might too, and the bitcoin dump is probably over.

<snip?
We have already shown interest in listing to CryptoBridge and Stocks.Exchange, with listings expected in the next 2 weeks.

Are you also considering bigger exchanges like cryptopia or bittrex?

Why not start a new thread for this with an OP containing up to date information? This exchange market is missing from this thread's OP and bitzeny hasn't been active since 2014. https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_ZNY/

Great, mined all day on us.kotopool.work and got 0 coins. moving on.
What hardware were you mining on?

just a mod like me. can't do anything.
He doesn't have to wait months for the cryptopia devs to read his pms. Maybe he could have a word with them. That could get results faster than waiting months for a reply to a support ticket.

Seems like quite the coincidence that we hit the ATH around Dec 17th, which is around when the futures market took their first shorting contracts. The first of those contracts close today at 4 PM ET. Not sure how this sort of manipulation continues from here, but it seems obvious that a fair amount of the Dec pump came from traders looking to buy BTC in preparation to dump them and drop the price around - well - today.
I guess I'm not the only one... https://twitter.com/parabolictrav?lang=en&lang=enWhen do the last of those futures market shorting contracts close?

it seems that we've recovered 100 Billion over night putting us right back at 550 Billion at the time of writing this. Are we heading back to 700B?
What do you think?
Morelikely yes, investors are coming in again, money from alts are slowly being transfered to bitcoin from time to time expect some bull run as the bears are finally tired. There's often a crash in January followed by a recovery afterwards. Hopefully we are heading back up, but nobody can irrefutably say what we are heading for.

How much money did the ICO make?

For today, Dash is practically the only top-end crypto currency, which is at a good level and does not reduce the price in relation to bitcoin. Perhaps the dash in 2018 will keep its popularity and everything will be one of the best ways to transfer money. Bitcoin has long been unable to cope with this task. Ethereum also became long and with a large commission.
How fast does dash transfer money? How long does it take until a transaction is fully confirmed? The OP says it supports instant transactions, but are all transactions instant, or do you have to pay more to get them confirmed instantly? You can choose, instant is not very cheap but confirms in second (s) and regular is very cheap and confirms a lot faster and easy than bitcoin ever did How many dollars is instant likely to cost at today's dash prices?

Try sending this member a pm. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=805820He seems to be a spokesman for cryptopia in this cryptopia thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1669443.0Here's a sample of some of his posts. I think Polymath is a well thought project. They noticed the amount of interests and decided to airdrop. Even though I believe there are gonna be people with fake IDs, I still think it's better to make sure you are not airdropping on bots by asking people to verify their identity. If someone doesn't feel secure about giving out ID, then just pass on and let others get it then you can buy from the exchange. I will surely be waiting for launch to buy some and so is more than 50k+ others who would be waiting to buy.
What ID did you give them? Did you directly give it to them, or to a subcontractor like jumio? How many coins did you get?
