Ok, lets jump on this new sale as quickly as possible.  Comparison table added here:

FCTaiChi: I love your work here. Thank you!

I will tip you .1 BTC if you would simply change the format of your spreadsheet from MH/s to GH/s.

Why should we have to cater your public spreadsheet to MH when most folk are running in the GH/s range or larger? Why not make the outlier FPGAs and such have to be .0x or .00x GH/s instead of the other way around.

I think it'll be *much* easier to grok in an instant for all of us. Just sayin'.  Grin
Oh, not a problem.  That's something that I have planned anyway.  Just took the FPGAs off a couple days ago, but it's the same for many of the one chip USB miners.  I almost started the table off that way, actually.  I feel like it's almost time to go to TH at this point, though.  In the next few weeks there won't be any need for the 65nm+ designs, and most new units will be in the 100GH+ range.

Here are some BitFury based miners from group buys forum:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=291456.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=296953.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=266235.0

The miners are almost identical but all have different prices. So we need a easier way to compare prices.
Ok, great.  The main table is getting to large to add every manufacturer, but I will put them on the BitFury page and either have all the information for each person there, or make subsections for them.  I'll update here when I do.

Grinny:  For the rig right?  If you figure two weeks average shipping, the first people to get their box will be around the beginning of the next month.  We can assume they will be shipping boxes as fast as they can make them, but it's likely that even if everything is perfectly on schedule it won't be until the middle of January that most people get their machines from that batch.  Anyway say we ignore shipping and manufacturing of the boxes, if I put December it would end up more misleading, as I'm set up to go month by month and can't split to the middle.  This will be one of the things that I change from soon.

-edit Fixed the From category, thanks again.  I'm not trying to be argumentative, or put my own opinions in, if you or anyone feels that I'm wrong about this I'd love to hear your case.

play:  You must mean the individual manufacturer pages?  The percentage value is set to be internally consistent within each table.  It does look funny when a positive return is colored orange or red, though.  The only alternative I've come up with is to follow the color scheme within the bitcoin rows, which would at least not confuse the data as is currently happening.

Hey!

What's with those two new miners from bitmine.ch?
- CoinCraft Rig (500GH-2TH) https://bitmine.ch/?product=coincraft-rig
- CoinCraft Desk (200GH-1TH) https://bitmine.ch/?product=coincraft-desk

Best,
Grinny
Great, thanks for the links.  Now that they have a product page there is no question about pricing.  The fully loaded ones come out to less than 5% difference.

Hey any chance you could get all those small BitFury miners on the list?
There is a couple of different mini BitFury miners available in the forums.

Would be cool to see if any of them actually give ROI.
Ok, I'll make a list of BitFury chip users.  Which other ones would you add?

147  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: September 17, 2013, 08:11:29 PM
Hashfast, any news from the chips ?

Plans of hosting ?

You are still sticking to the delivery times given ?

Every time I contact HF they answer me that they will look after my questions/suggestions  and they will come back with the answers, but they never do so  Undecided
I haven't heard of them hosting, but with the announced tapeout their chips should be on time.

Oh good, I had the same reaction as Dalkore when I saw the pic Smiley
149  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy] Batch #1 for FastHash 400GH GN Chips on: September 15, 2013, 07:20:05 PM
HashFast and FastHash are 2 different ASIC companies/products.

Confusing. I was trying to figure this out. Can you cite any other sources to confirm this? This is all I've found on the forums so far.
Would be surprising that two companies allow/accept such similar sounding names.
HashFast is manufacturing the Golden Nonce chip that is currently being used in the Baby Jet.  https://hashfast.com/

Fast-Hash One is the name of a Virtual Mining Corporation (VMC) product line.  http://virtualminingcorp.com/shop1/index.php?id_product=21&controller=product

Unfortunately I'm not sure who planned on using that name first, but looking at these threads:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=288915.0

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=262052.0

You get the picture that one became public a couple months before the other.

How/where will you be hosting? I offer my services! Tongue
fctaichi@decentralizedhashing.com.  Please let me know what you have been doing, and have planned.

I think we've come to the point where there is a clear place to put our bitcoin.  After I work out some details I'll start this thread up again and get things rolling.
I'm sure many of you that expressed interest earlier have already moved on.  With the problems that every company seemed to be having it seemed like a good idea to hold off until there was a clear answer.  After several interviews with members of the HashFast team I'm convinced that there is no impediment to making a good return with them, and that they will be offering the most competitive products.
150  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining Equipment Manufacturers -- 10, 15, 20, 25, 30% Big News From Cointerra on: September 15, 2013, 02:38:12 PM
... Has anyone at all gotten Avalon chips?  ...
Yes, the first few batches were shipped.
Burnin's first batch of Bitburners was shipped with them.
Maybe others too, I participated in Zefir/Burnin first batch and I am hashing with my Bitburners, so that's the one I know for sure.

Wow people have burnin's machines!  I need to change the shipping column for him.  Thanks, there are just too many companies for me to keep up with.

Full disclosure:  I am moving right now, working all day every day cleaning, fixing up, and packing.  I'll be doing it all again in a month too!  Usually I stop by every mining thread and keep up with the news, but right now I am at the mercy of people stopping by with tips.

uhh... terrahash is a scam so better not classify them under that. The latest thing they are trying to do is blame bkkcoins for incomplete firmware... but frankly speaking... terrahash had claimed 100% readiness since 8/1 having proven out everything.  Unfortunately they havent even got a 4.5ghash k16 to hash correctly
That is really sad, I was hoping all this would be explained.  I mean everyone knows at this point that they are going to lose, if they knew the reasons, though, and worked with people maybe they could avoid a lawsuit.  Is anyone suing?
151  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining Equipment Manufacturers -- 10, 15, 20, 25, 30% Big News From Cointerra on: September 15, 2013, 02:59:03 AM
Yeah, thanks for the input guys.  Has anyone at all gotten Avalon chips?  I should put all projects based on them in a separate category.

I'll make a note about this at the top of their homepage btceic, thanks for your diligence.
152  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining Equipment Manufacturers -- 10, 15, 20, 25, 30% Big News From Cointerra on: September 12, 2013, 08:16:46 PM
Typo. $3499 is for terraminer II @ 1Th January.
Thanks.  Took me a minute to find it.  I forgot that I don't have the hashrate auto updated on that page.  If there was something else you saw let me know.

155  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining Equipment Manufacturers -- 10, 15, 20, 25, 30% on: September 10, 2013, 06:10:31 AM
Bravo!  The higher difficulty rates are good to see.  I think most people will naturally be looking between 25 and 30 as about what to expect for the next 6 months (though it will probably be higher if KnC, Bitfury, HF, Cointerra all deliver on promised time lines before the end of the year).
Agreed Smiley  I just put the 10% back in after a week of higher %'s because I was under attack hehe.
156  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining Equipment Manufacturers -- Updated Lead Times on: September 10, 2013, 02:26:23 AM
Changed over to 10, 15, 20, 25, 30% to reduce community friction.
157  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining Equipment Manufacturers -- Updated Lead Times on: September 09, 2013, 05:03:39 PM
I watched TerraHash since the day they announced.  I know there have been some rough times, but I haven't seen anything to convince me that they aren't honest.
That being said, is there any reason to not have a video?  I think sensei and burnin have posted theirs a while back.

I agree with you, however I think they are really trying to work towards getting their K64 working (BKK never finished the firmware for linking the boards and he hasn't been on the forums for a while so they are on their own).

I'll try to reach out to them to try and get a video (They are very bad at communicating, I'll give the Terrahash Haters that one).
Thanks, that would make everyone more comfortable.  Well..  as much as possible in an awful situation.

Instead of listening to the "haters" and the biggest cheerleader of TH, please note, they were sent Avalon chips by someone on their thread, and TH has promised to turn around that order in 2 weeks.

You can ignore all the past promises broken, along with the poor communications, if they don't meet this promise, I would remove them.

That leaves it very simple.
True, we do need a neutral metric that we can hold mining equipment manufacturers to.  I'll watch for the result of this, should be very telling of what will happen in the future.
-edit Who is getting the unit?

Terrahash is not tested... please update your charts.. they cant even get a k16 hashing correctly
Really?  Damn.  I was sure that I read they had at least one working unit.
