141  Other / Politics & Society / Re: corruption and education on: October 19, 2017, 09:43:35 AM
what kind of people are more corrupted? Educated or Uneducated.. i think you know better. Education should be the the prime source to establish morality and responsibility against the corruption. But why the 80% [i think] of total corruption is happened among the literate people?

From my point of view there is nothing to do with education, its became with the personality of each one. Anyway, another point to keep in mind is that the established education has not evolved in years, but that is another story ...

... You have to be smart to be able to manipulate power...

Wrong, you just need to have something that others want to manipulate people...
142  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-18] The Stampede Is Coming on: October 19, 2017, 09:39:16 AM
...- if the big banks really start offering market-making for cryptocurrencies...

That's the point, banks do not want to use our bitcoin, they are looking for "all the cake", but IMHO they are not so intelligent, they did not realize that bitcoin can not be emulated, not at least with the security with the current hashrate power, so, or they jump into our board or they will have many complications if they want to use it.

The only downside is that many institutional investors are legally bound to invest in certain asset classes. Unfortunately, when these guidelines were created
cryptocurrency wasn´t even invented yet.

Yes, but don't worry, things could change especially if they know that could take advantage over it Wink
143  Economy / Speculation / Re: This guy predicts bitcoin to be $20,000 in 2 years. What do you think? on: October 19, 2017, 09:32:33 AM
i don't see why bitcoin could not reach that amount, who could said some years ago that bitcoin could reach 5k$ this year?, obviously 20k sounds a lot, but if things goes "fine" with all those "new things" like LN etc etc, why not?.

Also no, i can't see some of those alts with that price, especially ETH, people still didn't realize how bad is that alt...ofc is only my opinion.
144  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: October 18, 2017, 05:47:37 PM
I can read on this topic that there is so much people who believe that online wallets are safe, or still using it as his "main" wallet while you should not, obviously wallets like blockchain.info are really good for some situations, but people should start using other ways to keep his bitcoins safe.

Core, electrum or offline wallets are a good choice.
145  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Online Dating on: October 18, 2017, 02:10:57 PM
The problem with online dating are all those fakes profiles, websites are aware about it and start requiring some confirmations on his users if they want to use his services.

What are your thoughts on online dating and it's effects on long term relationships?

If people are incompatible, they will be incompatible always, does not matter if they find it on a website, so...

Is it better or worse than before it was introduced?

Maybe better because now people have at least more opportunities to find people in a easy way.
146  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-17] Wall Street Driving Bitcoin Price 6k Surge, Says Bloomberg on: October 18, 2017, 11:01:42 AM
Well, obviously, all those news on tv from all those guys attract the interest from those skeptical people who always hear about bitcoin like something "bad", but this does not mean that the incremental price of bitcoin is because of wall street.

Let them talk about it, let them think that is because of his powerful wall street the reason about the incremental price...soon or later people will wake up.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: Generating Passive Income on: October 17, 2017, 10:51:43 AM
I guess mining is what you're looking for. Ark has a voting system where they give out new coins every week, so that also might be useful. The profits will still depend on the value of the coin tho.

Mining nowadays is not like a passive income anymore at least from my point of view, you need to change of pools constantly because you may want to mine another coin that is profitable now etc etc...so in the end you will need to investigate what coin is profitable now, what pool to use now...well obviously this is different than mining btc, but i don't think that this is our case Wink
148  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-10] Bitcoin Boom is Fueling Nvidia’s Stock Price to All-Time Highs on: October 17, 2017, 09:37:16 AM
Well maybe all those rumors about his next graphic cards will push them into it, in this world everything could happen but seems like a poor reason for me, btw for the moment almost all alt miners are using AMD cards...

It's crazy that some groups have started lumping cryptocurrencies all together along with Bitcoin, rather than judging each individual crypto based on its actual merit and its relation to an event.

Welcome to the crypto-world the paradise of speculators where everything is allowed... Smiley
149  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange Bittrex began to block accounts!!! on: October 17, 2017, 09:10:33 AM
Really? i was going to start to use some services with them but now maybe i should think on it twice before start using it. At the moment i didn't received an email about verification or something like that like polo did some time ago, but who know, maybe my country is safe for them xD

...Without explaning the reason!...

that's what scares me, that they didn't give a reason to his users, bad bad...
150  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: October 16, 2017, 10:42:17 AM
If bitcoin falls, then this is the right time to buy coins at a cheap price in order to get even more profits. Now everyone dreams that bitcoin has fallen and there is an opportunity to buy cheap coins.

Agree;), most of the people are only waiting for an increase in the value of bitcoin, they could not see that while bitcoin exist, we are all gaining, also, if bitcoin price fall down there will be people like you said, people who took advantage about this by buying cheap bitcoins.

so:
Quote
Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time?

Yes, but only for those people who have not faith into bitcoin.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Russia beat every country at creating their first national cryptocurrency? on: October 16, 2017, 10:28:44 AM
Do you think Russia will be the first one to succeed into creating a national altcoin?

No, maybe they will beat others at using a centralized alt, but maybe it will not be like they expected, they will understand soon or later that there can't be anything better than bitcoin because of the security related to the current blockchain, that's one of the good things of bitcoin, they can not reproduce it or called it like "something like bitcoin" because it will not be like bitcoin if they are planning to made it centralized...so in the end, what they will do is like OP said an centralized altcoin and let's see how they managed this security...
152  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe the news ? on: October 16, 2017, 10:08:20 AM
Or do you think media is independent ?

Really? is there anyone who think that media are independent? cmon... everything related to them are based on money, i mean, who control them will show his point of view always over the rest, this does not mean what they are showing are not truth, this mean that they will show you it from his point of view always to made you think into one direction...
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best place to store bitcoins during the forks on: October 14, 2017, 10:46:29 AM
On any way where you are the only one who control your private key, obviously there is some ways more secure than others like cold storage etc etc... The worst way are online wallets and/or third party.

That's not what they say in their official statement or what happened with the last fork. They allowed a period of about a month for people to withdraw BCH from the site if they didn't want to convert it there.

Maybe, but again, you will depend on them and why you will want to do it when you can be safe by depends only of you?
154  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-11] 39-Year Old Father-of-3 Sells Everything for Bitcoin, Waits for ... on: October 13, 2017, 11:07:23 AM
Well, at the moment, he is now more rich than yesterday cause the increment in the last day, so maybe he did it in the correct time and is not as crazy as people is thinking Wink
I hope that he could make your dreams come true because if this happened, all of us could be happy too xD

Instead of risking it all he could of invested like 25% hes really looking for attention by doing this but he has three kids he should really be more sensible.

maybe he is doing the opposite, selling a% of his earnings.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what do you think about the pre mining of bitcoin gold? on: October 12, 2017, 02:29:35 PM
Moral or not?

No matter what excuse bring them to made that decision, ICOS are always a bad thing, at least IMHO, there is others ways to make money, i'm not saying that they should not be rewarded for his work, but premine is a real bad practice.

...they want to become instant multi-milioners...

lets see whats finally happen, maybe things will not be like they want it to be or like they expected Wink
156  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Absolute Proof They Exist in human Society on: October 12, 2017, 02:19:50 PM
Obviously this is a fake, think on it, nobody will be so relaxed like if something is natural when this is not.... they are showing to the world that she have some type of mental power and she and the people around her are like nothing happen... c'mon...at least people should be really impressed expressing his fascination about something not natural is happen and they are seeing it, but this is not the case...
157  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-12] $10,000 Bitcoin Coming Soon As Bitcoin's Price Rallies on: October 12, 2017, 02:10:27 PM
Even 10k sounds a little bit now Wink i'm really expected to see if finally LN could be done in a "friendly way" and  keep the spirit of the current btc, if this finally happen reach the ammount of 10k will be reach pretty easy, i hope for sure...

In the last months more and more big investors are loosing his "shameless" to bitcoin and don't care if people now know that they invest on bitcoin, something is changing more than people is thinking...
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to Bitcoin's price before and after the October fork? on: October 12, 2017, 02:03:22 PM
Nothing will happen imho, well not at least because of the fork, people are aware and learn about those things with time, that btc gold with premine sounds pretty bad for me, like most of the new alts...well to tell you the truth, yes, one thing will happen for sure, people will sell his free btc gold as fast as possible, out of that, everything will be normal Tongue
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I use Jesus in my art? on: October 11, 2017, 03:41:23 PM
Well you know, there will be always people who would not like it, is not my case, my recommendation is to avoid always those type of polemics to be safe...

i'm pretty sure that you can made another one art without those type of polemics, yes? Wink

ps- I hope you will recognize Vitalik Buterin Smiley

Now that you said it, maybe yes... xD
160  Economy / Speculation / Re: mining difficulty and hash rate - should i care about it as a trader? on: October 11, 2017, 03:39:02 PM
mining difficulty and hash rate -  should I care about it as a trader?

As a trader you should only care about graphs, you know, volumen, liquidity... latest news, etc etc... even with all those things in consideration you will never be "safe" Tongue

if I should care about it, can you please explain why? how and both of them affect the cryptocurrencies price?

IMHO you should be happy to see how it ATM: Hash Rate:   7,942,844,887 GH/s is growing week by week, so as i said don't worry too much about it Wink
