141  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: (Worldwide) scammed me for 0.51873796 BTC on: December 06, 2020, 11:11:29 PM

When dicks starting making fake flags against you, that's how you know you've really arrived.

Unfortunately the only punishment available now for false flaggers is trust list exclusion, though it could also be argued that leaving idiotic flags is grounds for red trust as the act in itself is indicative of untrustworthiness.

LMAO!  What exactly does a trust list exclusion do especially for an already tagged spammer ?
142  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] ❤️ YouTube Premium Subscription Upgrade Existing Account on: December 06, 2020, 06:42:06 PM
Last free bump.

No one including him (from what I can see) said you scammed him and so he was customer from hell  .... so what?  He didn't like your product or how it worked.  Shit happens. Had you simply only done what you did (refund him which was the right thing) and walked away you wouldn't have generated all these messages.  Obviously you have never worked face to face with people in sales or you wouldn't make it to day 2.  LOL  Good luck!  Cheesy
143  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] ❤️ YouTube Premium Subscription Upgrade Existing Account on: December 06, 2020, 05:56:45 PM
Discord is "scammy"? It's the most used people's choice of platform to talk not sure where your prejudice is coming from. And again you don't seem to able to read and write well judging by your childish sentences and horrible grammar. I've said it hundreds of times there's an email to reach out if you don't use discord no one is forcing you to use it. Stop acting like an entitled prick.

@Fanny38
WOW!  Talk about "prejudice".  Just because someone doesn't write like you, or agree with you they are "ignorant?"  By the way, 3/4 of the Discord (and Telegram users as well) on these and other forums like this who SELL THINGS are indeed scammers.  Personally I wouldn't and never did use either or them.  For general "real" discussion topics it may be useful.  Interesting book from 1998 you might want to pick up and read:  https://www.amazon.com/How-Win-Friends-Influence-People/dp/0671027034  as it might help you in the future dealing with people who may not agree with you.

144  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: (Worldwide) scammed me for 0.51873796 BTC on: December 06, 2020, 05:36:13 PM

Thanks  ... the idiot even created a fake flag on me for some random other alleged scam thread. Interesting part is immediately after he did that 2 other tagged scammers jumped in and supported it.  There would be no way those 2 even knew it existed UNLESS he dropped his pants and exposed his smelly ALTS.   I don't give a fuck about it as it just gets lost among all the others Cheesy but it does add a couple more connections to watch.
145  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: (Worldwide) scammed me for 0.51873796 BTC on: December 06, 2020, 05:05:57 AM
Where is your evidences? I will be happy to see your conversation screenshots here.
The person you are asking for screenshots made the accusation 4 years ago. @sandy-is-fine was just alerting member that the account just woke up after longtime.
I don't know if it's necessary, but isn't a type 1 flag suitable to be opened against the accused profile in this case?
Yes and yes.  Tagged and flagged, support flag here:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=2508
146  Other / Meta / Re: Why aren't AUTO-BANNED user's threads deleted (or at least locked)? on: December 05, 2020, 10:07:13 PM
This shouldn't be done automatically for the reasons mprep has already stated.

Yea, makes sense and for the most part I agree, but I probably should have clarified my OP to narrow it down to the marketplace forums where other than scamming and spamming there usually isn't a lot to be lost when one of the  OP's get banned and their scam or spam threads remain.  I do understand they don't directly get banned for scamming.

Just report those threads and they will likely be locked. If a user is banned and they're using sock puppets to keep their business going it's usually pretty clear ban evasion as well. They'll likely just create a new thread do do business anyway but just keep reporting them.

@hilariousetc

Here is an example.  The op of this thread (and about 9 other of his alts) are banned (thank you!  Wink ).  He now is bumping the thread with a very obvious sock-puppet alt.  I mean, how obvious can he be!  LOL.  Cheesy   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5273238.msg55754718#msg55754718  (archive https://archive.vn/xsTAD).  Yes, it was reported but just posting an example.

Quoting myself here.  MODS deleted the sock-puppet alt bump post of the BANNED OP of the thread in question (orig archive here: archive https://archive.vn/xsTAD) but did not nuke the poster (alt of banned OP) and did not lock the thread which means the same clown will re-bump again.

153  Economy / Digital goods / Re: AMAZON EGIFT CARDS FOR SALE ANY QUANTITY UP TO $1,000 *CRYPTO ONLY* on: November 21, 2020, 05:56:30 PM
To celebrate SANDY-IS-FINE coming out as a retard, I am offering a 25% off discount. All quantities up to $100 sold for 75% of their worth.

ZOWIE!  From no discount to 25% off.  Sounds like the real deal. 75% of nothing is worth just that.

You promised you'd be leaving us.  You even said goodbye.  Sad
"RETARD" is not politically correct.  Please use "INTELLECTUALLY DISABLED"

Thank you sweetie.

If you read the red trust warning you would immediately understand it's reasoning.  Simply remove the self-moderated option and the red tag will go away if it bothers you.  Since you claim to be new here you might also read this first post which also clarifies the trust:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3035620.0    Hope that helps and you're welcome for the free bump as topic bumps are allowed once every 24 hours per forum rules from the topic starter.  Any other responses if necessary will be added to this post.

--------------------
Beware! Some weirdo leaves negative feedback solely because I sell amazon egift cards on a self moderated thread.
Obviously your reading comprehension is lacking.  NO, it's because you are an (alleged) NEWBIE selling Amazon gift cards on a self-moderated thread which usually around here = SCAM that got the red warning. Why self-moderated?  You obviously are afraid of negative comments which, if you are legit as you claim wouldn't happen.

---------------------------
What bothers me are white knights like you, you don't know me but because I am a newbie you leave a negative review. I self-moderate this thread because it's my listing lmao. Like I said, I have no problem using an escrow. You done yet? freaking neckbeards
As long as you reply I'm not done. Terribly sorry to bother you.  Never left a negative review, just a warning based on fact.  And if you're a "newbie" here I am Jesus Christ coming home early.  Besides all your other BS, why would anyone pay you 1:1 to "GET RID OF YOUR CRYPTO (BTC,LTC,ETH) AND DONT WANT TO LOSE MONEY?" when there are  long time LEGIT & TRUSTED Amazon sellers here who have been selling for 75-80% for YEARS ?? What do you have to offer as a "brand new untrusted" seller here hiding behind a self-moderated thread where any negative comments can be removed?

LOL, "white knight" & "beardhead", I like that.   Next.  You're up.

------------------------------------------
--------------------

Simmer down big boy girl , you messing with a big league. I have the most exquisite egift cards on the market, they're made with love and honesty. If you worked on yourself as much as you waste time talking shit to people on here you would be 200 lbs lighter. Anyways toodles
Buh-bye sweetie,  until your next fake newbie alt.
Kisses,  xxxoooxxxooo

We need a cure, not bandaid!
To stop the bleeding you first need a band-aid then you can work on the cure so the bleeding doesn't occur again.

Also, (IMO of course) the Marketplace sections (particularly the Digital Goods and it's sub-forum) is a totally different animal than most of the rest of the forum regarding scammers and banned users.

157  Other / Meta / Re: Why aren't AUTO-BANNED user's threads deleted (or at least locked)? on: November 18, 2020, 05:18:45 AM
OP's get banned and their scam or spam threads remain.  I do understand they don't directly get banned for scamming.
Spam posts gets deleted without the user who started the thread being banned, if you come across one the mods may have missed; drop them a report to draw their attention to it.

Scams on the other hand are not moderated, this means mods cannot take any action to that effect. Deleting thread is an action and would require the forum to have a system in place to check and verify possible scams. The DT and trust flags are in place to check scams, some boards in the marketplace section also has newbie warnings to tell users they are in a high risk area.

I am well aware of that when I wrote I do understand they don't directly get banned for scamming I did say I was aware of that however there are ways they DO get around that. Often a scammer has other banable violations in their threads.  Very often scammers/spammers have previously banned accounts which will get them banned for ban evasion. As a DT myself I make good use of the trust flags as you can tell by all the lovely retribution I am left.   Smiley

Why aren't AUTO-BANNED user's threads deleted (or at least locked)?  All they do is have sock puppets come in and keep bumping them so AUTOBAN seems not to be very effective.  As long as the threads stay online they are still indexed by Google and then they do their business off-site on telegram or whatever else.  Locking them at least prevents them from being bumped by ALTs but (IMO) they should be deleted just like the user who has been banned.
160  Other / Meta / Re: When replying, do you make use of quick replies or do you click "reply"? on: November 15, 2020, 11:31:42 PM
Hmmm, I don't even see a "QUICK REPLY" option.  Where be it ?  Smiley
It is at the bottom of each page. If you want the option to use it, you need to enable the feature. From your profile, go to 'Look and Layout Preferences' and change 'Use quick reply on topic display' to 'show, on by default'

Ahh!  Got it.  Thanks. Now I see why I likely disabled it eons ago.  My answer to the poll:  NEVER (not a choice) so I chose the 3rd option.  Cheesy
